Chapter 21: Break Down-Pt 2
Daddy Dearest
Tsk Tsk. Brad, boy why you so angry yo?!! You want good pus? I can help you. You don't have to get all bat-shit crazy on me.
Hey ghoulies...
So here's part 2 of Brad's descent in total madness. Like seriously guys, stay on your meds. If you're a schitzo, STAY ON YOUR MEDS. I'll love ya either way. ^_^
On the other side, I hope I described the scenes below thoroughly. I'm not a fan of the whole flashback vs reality type ---- nor am I good with describing action scenes but I hope you get the jist that Brad goes between reality and the last memories that he has of Susan.
Enjoy the downfall of our handsome beast.
Onee-chan.

Brad's POV
The cabin had been sold to our family after Susan's so called disappearance. The cabin wasn't run down by any means. The place was in the same great shape as it had always been; just as Susan would have liked it. Being inside this place after so long, bombarded me with flashbacks that I had long since forgotten.
Sitting on fertile acres of land, the cabin was made out of pure mahogany. Each decor is worth it's own high-end prize. The flower beds in front of the porch were still in their budding stages. It was almost like a metaphor of how life was back then; thats where happiness stopped in my eyes.
Dave hadn't quiet fainted. It seemed that Corey had found a way to keep him silent. He had tied a bulk of torn cloth around Dave's mouth. The guy was literally biting down on it for dear life. Sure he was bigger than me but I learnt that height could be a minor disadvantage.
As Jaden's feet and wrist were being bound by duct tape, I took note of his scantily clad body. With just a night shirt and boxer shorts in the cold August air, I told Corey to take him into the adjoining room and to place him on the bed.
The manila folder that I had given him was still thrown in a corner of the room along with the scrunched up ball of paper.
I didn't get it. Wasn't he happy about this? Didn't he want me to find out the truth? Maybe he knew the blatant familiarity between us from the very start, but I was still in my brooding to even notice.
I should have known. He was Susan's after all.
After back-handing Jaden a little too hard, he was kinda in and out of consciousness. Figures. He did have a terribly weak frame for a guy. So now he had a busted lip, a bump on his head and a swollen eye but nothing that a little bit of ice couldn't bring down.
He kept mumbling something under his breath.
Whilst Corey was busy taking care of Jaden, I walked over to Dave's side, and enjoyed watching him crawling backwards. He looked pathetic. He looked very much like I did after he kicked my ass on the first day I arrived at the center.
"You know, you're mouth got you into trouble. If you'd only shut your trap," I tsked at him. "Never imagined our rolls would be in reverse. I was usually the one groveling. How do you feel now that your little disciple is doing everything I say?"
Ah this feeling of superiority was sure addicting.
"fgguuck ou bagharrg!" he spat at me. Even with the cloth preventing him from speaking, I still understood his insult. Stooping down to meet him at eye level, I let one of my fingers poke into the gunshot wound of his leg. He squirmed, biting down on the cloth.
"Don't talk back you scum," I directed at him before feeling something cold kiss the back of head.
"If you insist on provoking him, you're brain matter will be over the floor in less than a second," I heard the voice of Corey speak out. "I'm only doing this so you lay fucking off."
Upon close study of Corey's personality and a face I've never seen, I don't think he'd ever be able to pull the trigger. He didn't have it in him to kill. That's why Dave was usually the one to bestow the killing blow. Corey was the more intelligent one, and Dave usually ran on pure macho instinct and violence.
Chuckling, I stood up with my hands up in a half-hearted attempt at surrender. After all, he was the one with the gun. I could pick up annoyance in this voice. His words were slightly muffled by the mask he wore, but he was probably in more trouble with the injured man. Dave didn't look too happy that he was saved by his little puppy.
After stepping away from Dave, Corey slowly put down his weapon and stuffed it in the back of his pants. He hoisted up Dave, who groaned loudly like a nuisance, and was about to skirt him away.
"This is the last time Dave will be responding to your requests. I call this debt even, do you understand. Kindly do not contact us again," Corey spoke.
I snorted at him. "Whatever, not like I have any need for you guys anymore since I have what I want. Its even now. We're all even now," or at least until someone verifies the blood sample on the floor as Dave's, I mentally mused as Corey was about to go through the front door.
Corey just shrugged. "Your plan won't work. You have too many loose ends," he added with his back to me as he walked out.
A vein throbbed inside my temple. So he too thinks so little of me. Apparently I was everybody's joke since birth! How dare he underestimate me?
Soon I heard their van revving up before their tires screeched across dead leaves, broken branches, and rubble. Left were Jaden and I in our own little world. Without thinking, I went forward just to take a peak through the window, confirming their departure and dead bolted from the inside before heading into the room Jaden was placed in.
My eyes washed over him as I opened the door.
He was on top of soft silky sheets, with a net covering the entire oak frame with twisting elaborate designs. His naturally pale skin glowed with the help of the dull light in the room. The scene only made more appealing with those nips and bruises here and there along with that bloodied shirt; tainted only by those visible hickeys.
I hadn't even realized that night had already shadowed the setting sun. Jaden's head rested on a plump pillow. His shirt, still torn, hanging open and bare white legs were tangled with the sheets.
Somehow, tied up, he looked like some random present someone left for me.
What was pissing me off, was the fact that he kept mumbling Blake's name under his breath. He was probably in shock, lying there all tensed and petrified.
"I want Blake," he sobbed nearly inaudibly. His body tensed as I closed the distance between us.
"We don't need him here. He isn't a part of this," I stated getting under the net and unto the mattress. With the agility of a deer, he quickly wiggled into the corner of the bed. He couldn't push himself away any further than the wall. I chuckled lightly. "You know... I won't hurt you. I am a little irritated that you had Blake lay a finger on you..." I admitted through gritted teeth, "... but that's all behind us now."
"Why are you doing this?" Jaden shouted at me.
Ah, I should have taped his mouth too. Then again, his unstable feistiness was turning me on but only because it reminded me of Susan. He seemed to have the same ability like his mom. The more he talked, the more my mind dragged itself into forceful flashbacks.
Wait... what am I saying? What am I doing?
"What are you doing?" I suddenly felt transported into a dream as I heard Susan's voice echoing in my head. We were in the same room, as she called forward and said, "no matter what I do, this thing just wouldn't die. It came out kicking and screaming, taking away the little freedom I've had."
"Are you talking about the baby?" I asked but to my ears, it was as if my voice was far away.
Susan's eyes were all dazed and droopy. She looked down on her stomach and lightly traced the stretch marks with the razor we had used to make even lines of cocaine. It was obvious that she hadn't registered my question. Then again, we were both strung out at that moment. "H-hey Brady, ever thought of ending it all?"
Feeling just as hazy as her, I wasn't able to process her question clearly. "Are you thinking of ending it with me after all?"
"Yes," she said in that same dream like state. "I'd want you to end it all with me. If you really think about it, Blake would always be worth more than you, just like that child is worth me than me. It's best if we just end it all."
Without being able to analyze anything, my hand reached out to snatch a thin throat; my hand almost closing around it. "After all I did for you... this is how you want it?!" I then shouted. God, it was so small! Wasn't Susan was way more sturdier? How dear she just shove me aside?! "Even though I've showed you how much you mean to me, you just never see it, don't you?! What's so good about Blake huh?"
Brown were tearing up, as the beautiful face contorted pitifully beneath the pressure of my fingers. A face gradually growing purple but with a smile planted on her lips either way. I could've hardly gave a fuck if she had passed out or die on me.
The only one who she needed was me, just like I needed her. The only one who'd loved her just like this or even if she changed, was me! I'm the only one who'd give my life, just for her. Why was Blake still on her mind?
"NO!! DON'T!!!" she started screaming. "Blake!!"
"Fuck Blake!" I screamed back angrily at her face.. "Fuck Blake!"
"NO!! Brad... please!!" Wait....What's happening now?
Wasn't I with Susan? Why was Jaden here? Why was my hand on his throat??
Even has he struggle, Jaden landed a few punches. While my mind was still grasping at why the hell I was choking him, he twisted fast and at an awkward angle causing me to slice his leg before I was able to let go. That's when the realization hit me; the razor Susan had been holding, was my pocket knife all along. Jaden screamed in pain, his blood getting everywhere on the sheets.
With eyes squeezing shut, taped hands reached up clawing my hands away unsuccessfully. Seeing tears welling up in Jaden's eyes, and the change of color in his face, had me loosening my hold instantly.
What's happening?!!!
A stray leg of his, caught me off guard, and kicked me straight in the groin. I felt that shit all the way up to my spine and down into my toes. It was like my whole being throbbed with a pain that literally paralyzed me for a minute.
In that minute, Jaden was able to get up and off the bed. He was running towards the bedroom door. I was after him even with my throbbing member bawling in my pants. Cursing under my breath, I sneered his way as I caught up to Jaden trying to escape through the front door of the cabin.
"Stop it!" Jaden screamed at me but like an act black magic, his face morphed in Susan's.
I saw her dart back into the adjoining room and slammed the door in my face. "Get away from me," I hear her from somewhere, mocking cries and laughs. It was almost like a bad game of tag.
"Ahhh... " I groaned at the her voices floating around my ears but it wasn't me anymore. It was a me I couldn't recognize. "Susan!!! Open the goddamn door!" I screamed as I banged on the door. Yet the door didn't budge. "Susan!!" I came screaming and decided to kick the door open.
"Stop! Why don't you stop?!" but this time, it wasn't Susan voice I heard, but Jaden's.
The latch broke and flew across the room as splinters dispersed through out the space. Before my eyes lay a scene of the macabre. Susan laid on the bed, blood draining from her veins. The razor she had traced the stretch marks with, had indeed it ended it all for her.
Was that what she had meant when she wanted to end it all? Yet, even with her eyes dead and gone, I saw her mouth move. She beckoned me, telling me that she wanted to end it with me. She wanted me to die with her. Susan didn't want to go alone.
I froze at the entrance of the room.
If Susan was dead, who was I chasing then? My eyes watched as the ghost of Susan vanished, and before me, was Jaden who looked at me with a tear-stricken face. The bleeding of Susan's veins, was Jaden's leg wound. In his hands, was the pocket knife I cut him with but now it was pointed at me.
As reality fought to settled itself within my muddled brain, I was then suddenly conscious of the constant pounding at the front door that seemed to shake the cabin.
