Chapter 29

There, on my bed, a few feet away, was none other than a stranger, watching me with lustful eyes. I sensed that he was a werewolf immediately and I realized that I was in some serious trouble. Shit.

"Who are you?" I spat, trying to come up with a plan. Right, I could mind-link Noah!

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," the man said in a deep raspy voice. He stood up, taking slow steps towards me.

"Do what?" I spat again, glaring at him.

"Contact your dear mate and John Black will do the opposite of recovering."

My breathing stopped for a few seconds as I understood what he was saying. Uncle John wasn't going to get hurt, neither was any of his sons or my family.

"Don't you dare touch him!"

"Oh, but I do, beautiful, I do. In fact, I have people there as we speak, waiting for my word."

I took deep breaths, trying to calm down. My temper wasn't going to take me anywhere, but he was taking me whether I controlled myself or not. I glared at him, not even thinking it through. I would easily give myself away than ever hurting anyone that I loved.

"Fine," I spat quietly. "But if I hear that you've done something, I swear to God I will-"

"I am not told to do anything to anyone if you decided to come with me," he interrupted me, annoyed. "Now get dressed, we don't have much time."

He went back to my bed, waiting for me as I turned around and faced the back of my closet. Angry tears were building up in my eyes. I couldn't believe this. Ten minutes ago, I was happy with Noah next to me. Now I'm being kidnapped for the second freaking time in two days. How was this possible?

Oh right, I'm Samantha Riley.

I sighed in frustration as I quickly pulled off Noah's shorts and put on a pair of my black skinny jeans and a white, kind of loose, kind of tight, top. I felt a growl escaping my chest. I wasn't sad that they were taking me away, because I was going willingly to protect my loved ones. I was just mad because trouble never seemed to stop chasing me.

Noah was totally going to freak this time. I sighed, hoping none of them would get into trouble just because of me. I put on a pair of black Converse quickly, made sure to brush my hair and made sure I smelled good.

You're probably thinking, Why on earth is she brushing her hair and making sure she smells nice? She's being kidnapped for Christ's sake!

Well, here's the answer to that. I hate smelling bad and I wasn't planning on staying there, wherever this man was taking me. I was getting out of there soon and I was getting out of there with style, thank you very much. I had a life after all the kidnappings, you know.

I turned around and glared at the man as I walked over to him.

"Let's go," I said quietly, struggling to keep my temper in check. I would've attacked him by now but that did no good to anyone but myself. The man smirked, eyeing me and nodded, gesturing for me to go out. I turned off the lights in my room, walking down the stairs.

Ew. This guy was like thirty or something and he was looking like me like he could eat me up right on the spot. Disgusting perverts.

"Stop checking me out, you perv," I snapped, voicing my thoughts. The man's eyes widened and he glared at me.

"I wasn't checking you out! I was simply looking."

"Yeah as if I was the greatest food on earth. Animalistic perv," I muttered. "Where to?"

"I wasn't checking you out," he muttered in the same tone, shooting me another glare. Then he came back to himself and straightened up. He nodded to the right. "Back door."

"So who sent you?" I asked as we walked out through the back door. He pushed me quickly in to the deep forest and walked behind me, his footsteps close.

"You'll see when we get there."

"And where is "there"?" I asked, smirking as I heard him huff in annoyance. I was getting on his nerves. Good.

"You'll see when we get there," he repeated.

"Why so annoyed?" I asked, glancing over my shoulder at him. "Does your master not give you enough credit for the work you do?"

"He is not my master, he is my Alpha!" He snapped, giving me another push. "And he credits me just fine. It's none of your business anyway."

"Touchy aren't we? I guess he does treat you badly, then."

"Shut up and walk before I make sure you won't have anything to walk with."

I grinned. He wouldn't touch me even if he wanted to; his Alpha would kill him.

"Your master won't like that," I said knowingly. "Now, how much are we going to walk?"

"We're almost there, Curious George." He gave me a look of hatred and I looked at him as if he was stupid, shaking my head.

"I'm a girl, if you haven't noticed. Do you have trouble with your eyes? Maybe that's why your master doesn't really like you."

"My Alpha likes me fine! Shut up!"

"Are you sure?" I asked, one last time, loving how affected he got. He was really weak, this one. Probably why they sent him to do the easy work. Well, easy and easy. They were stupid enough to think that he would manage with me. No one managed with me.

He didn't reply and instead glared straight ahead as he walked, occasionally pushing me forward. I don't know why I didn't just mind-link Noah or someone for help. But, well, first of all, I was fine, I didn't need anyone's help. I could handle myself just fine. And, I knew that if I called for help, they would go over the top - "they" being Noah - and make the whole thing worse. This stupid guys Alpha would find out and they would hurt Uncle John or anyone else and I wasn't risking that.

I finally saw a black car, parked on the side of the road in the middle of the forest. I turned to glance at the idiot behind me. He was puffing and huffing, obviously tired from walking so much. He looked up, his eyes landing on the car and shot me a glare.

"Get in the car," he spat, giving me another shove. Seriously, was shoving people his thing or something? Or maybe he just liked to shove me? Well, either way, it was funny to watch because everytime he pushed me, he got even more tired.

I did as he said once we reached the car and I got in the back. He got in the front passenger seat and the driver was a similar looking guy, obviously from the same pack, but this one looked a little bit... I don't know, a little bit less wimpier than the other one. He looked at me in the rearview mirror and I smirked.

"Hey, new friend!" I said in a loud annoying voice, slapping him on his upper arm. His brows furrowed immediately and he looked at me as if I was stupid. I wanted to laugh out loud but I held it in, enjoying myself. "So, do you know where we're going? Cause this fatty refuses to talk. Oh and did I mention that he can't even walk five minutes through the forest without panting? Mhm, not good for your packs reputation."

I just kept talking, on and on, clearly annoying them both but everytime I said a comment about the fatty, the new guy shot him an amused grin, obviously laughing at him.

"So, do I get to know your names at least?" I asked after a while, my eyes on the scenery through the window. I looked at the rearview mirror and caught the new guy's eyes. I could tell that he thought I was both annoying and amusing. Eh, I didn't care. I just wanted to annoy the life out of them.

"Well?" I prompted, waiting.

"Lucas," he finally answered. "That's Joey."

Fat guy Joey gave Lucas a annoyed look that showed that he'd rather keep his name secret from me. Too late, fatty. I smirked, giving them an "impressed face."

"So, Lucas. Is your master- oh wait," I smirked evilly at Joey who glared at me, "treating you well? Because Fat Joe here told me that he is being treated awfully."

Lucas glanced at Joey questioningly and Joey immediately defended himself.

"NO I did NOT! I said none of that! You were the one saying that, not me!" He yelled, his booming voice filling the car. I frowned.

"Jeez, Fat Joe, calm down. You're giving me a headache. I'm not sure your Alpha will be happy with you if he knows that."

"My name is Joey!" he snapped again.

"Joey," Lucas hissed/whispered. "Shut the fuck up, she's just messing with your head, you idiot!"

Ah, this was entartaining. I leaned back, grinning as I looked out the window, trees blurry as we drove past them.

My work here was done. For now.
