Anyway, thank you for all the support, I love you guys you are amazing! Thizzz izz fooee yaaa'll!
BTW!!
This chapter (the party) won't be so interesting, I'm not so good at party mode in books lol

Chapter 45
I smirked, feeling even more confident by the way he was looking at me. All I needed was my mate's opinion, no one else's. I stepped even closer, giving him a slow lazy kiss, knowing he loved it.
âHi,â I whispered against his lips, still smirking. He shut is eyes for a few seconds and then opened them, staring right into mine. His hands snaked around my waist and he pulled me closer, our chests touching.
âI want you to think of all the words for beautiful,â he whispered, our lips still touching as we spoke. âAnd sexy.â
I chuckled, giving him another kiss.
âDo you want me to be honest?â I asked. He waited and I glanced at his lips. âIf this wasn't a birthday party that belonged to a girl we knew, I'd take you down right on this spot.â
Noah grinned and a chuckle escaped his lips.
âAnd that is one of the reasons to why I love you.â
I grinned and pulled back a little.
âNow I have to congratulate the birthday girl. Come on.â
I took his hand and pulled him after me as I walked through the big lounge and the people, my eyes set on the blonde beauty that was the reason for this party. Stephanie was talking to a few others from the pack and when her eyes landed on me she smiled brightly, mouth open in surprise.
âSamantha!â
âStephanie! Happy birthday!â I said as I hugged her. I hadn't even had a normal conversation with this girl since she arrived but there was no strangeness going on at all. Besides, she was a part of the pack now, we were all family no matter how much or little we talked and hung out.
âThank you! What do you think?â She gestured to the place. I gaped at her.
âAre you kidding?! This is better than awesome! This party is going to be good.â
âIm glad you like it!â She smirked knowingly. âThis party is going to be crazy, I don't care what anyone says! We're going to have fun.â
âYou bet we are. I'm liking the free bar over there,â I said, winking.
Noah stepped forward.
âHappy Birthday, Stephanie,â he said with a grin, giving her a hug.
âThank you, Noah! You guys look amazing together, it's almost blinding.â
âThank you,â Noah and I said in unison. Then Noah added in a hushed voice, âOnly I look better than amazing without her.â
I punched him lightly on his shoulder as Stephanie chuckled. I gaped at him with mock hurt and he grinned, giving me a quick kiss on the cheek. I pushed him aside.
âI'm going to go visit the bar now, I will definitely see you later!â I said to Stephanie with a grin and she laughed at my palm against Noah's face. She nodded.
âAbsolutely. Have fun!â
I walked away, hurrying away from Noah. I tried to look normal but I doubted that when I was half running in high heels and a short dress; I probably looked mental.
âYou know,â Noah called from behind me, âI don't mind walking behind you.â
I understood the meaning of his words and instead of stopping and waiting for him to get in front of me, I decided to give my mate a show if that was what he wanted. I smirked to myself as I started walking normally again, using my hips slightly more than usual. I heard Noah's intake of breath behind me and I laughed, turning around to face him.
âYou're so easy,â I whispered huskily in his ear. I wasn't really aiming to turn him on too much, but I was and it was funny as heck.
We reached the bar and asked for a Mojito. I wanted to try enough drinks but not get too drunk. We'll see how that will work out, besides, we're going to be here all night. I grinned at the thought. Noah asked for the same drink and while we stood there and waited, I stood close to him, his arm around me as we watched the party people.
Everyone looked really good, honestly. The guys looked really handsome in their tuxes and the girls looked amazingly hot. Can't say any of the guys looked better than Noah, though, and no I'm not just saying it because we're mates. A crazy Arianna bumped into us happily, holding hands with Aaron who smirked at his mate's behavior.
âSam! Ohmygod, this is so fun! I swear, you have to go dance!â
âAre you high?â Noah asked her, looking geniunely curious. Arianna grinned at him, wiggling her eyebrows. Noah frowned. âSam, she's scaring me.â
âOh Noah, lighten up!â Arianna said, laughing. âCome on, get on the dancefloor!â
âNu-uh,â I said, shaking my head. âDrinks first.â
âThat's right,â a voice said behind me. I turned and saw Victor, smirking approvingly at me and Noah, holding our drinks. âDrinking comes first.â
Noah grinned at his best friend.
âVictor, where are your girls at?â
Victor's smirk turned evil and mischievous.
âSomewhere around here. I need some space, you know.â
I let out a laugh.
âPlease, who would want to be with you?â
âWhy don't you ask the girls?â
I narrowed my eyes at him amusingly, shaking my head.
âSuch a player.â
âJust like your boy here was before you showed up,â he said back, still smirking.
âWhich means that you'll be what he is now when you find your own mate.â
That stopped him and he narrowed his eyes back at me.
âTouché, Samantha, touché.â
I lifted my drink in agreement and then took a sip.
We had been here a little over an hour maybe and I was currently walking towards Jacob who was standing by the snacks and food table, eating by himself. I chuckled as I reached him and he turned to me.
âOh, hey,â he said, grinning with food in his mouth.
âHey, how's it going? Why are you here eating, alone?â I tried to hold my laughter.
He glared at me for a second and then shrugged. âNo one wants to be with me.â He grinned.
âHa-ha, the hilarious Jacob Black, who wouldn't want to be with him?â I looked at him suspiciously. âHave you, um, seen... a certain werewolf girl... that has red hair..?â
His face immediately turned upside down and he was throwing daggers at me with his eyes. I laughed quietly. He looked around, as if checking to see if someone had heard. Then he leaned closer.
âSamantha, I swear if you say this loud enough for anyone to-â
âRelax, Jake, I'm not going to say it again. But have you?â
He let out a breath. Then he looked down at the food and started stuffing his mouth again.
âNo.â
âWell go look for her!â I hissed. âSeriously, go see if it's true or not.â
âI haven't seen her since that day, Sam, I haven't felt anything so I don't think that it's true.â
âPlease,â I scoffed. âAdmit it, you have been thinking about her all this time and you know it.â He gave me a look and I shook my head. âJacob, you know that I know so don't even.â
âFine, yes, I have!â he said.
âThen please, just go talk to her. Just say hi and tell her that the party is great and that the music is awesome. Talk about the mansion or something that you-â
âI know how to talk, Sam,â he said, giving me another glare. I chuckled and nodded.
âGood, then go now. She's right there, walking to the bar.â
His eyes almost fell out as he turned in a millisecond, watching her. He looked at me and I nodded. He nodded back, dropping the chicken wing he was holding back to its plate. He wiped his hands and his mouth, smoothening down his suit.
âTeeth?â he asked, showing me his perfect whites. I searched for anything unacceptable and nodded.
âYou're good. Good luck,â I said, grinning as he nodded, walking away. I managed to give his ass a quick smack. He gave me a freaked out look. I laughed out loud. This guy was too funny. She was definitely his mate; he never got this nervous, even if he didn't know she was his a hundred percent.
I tasted a few things from the table, nodding approvingly. This food was good. Really good. Without really thinking like a lady â when did I ever? - I started stuffing my mouth just like Jacob had. At least I was chewing normally. I think.
Those chicken wings are delicious, I thought for myself. I tasted some nachos, letting out a moan at how good the mix of the two was. I shut my eyes, enjoying the wonderful taste.
I know, I'm crazy.
âI see you like the food?â
Jumping in fright as I was too wrapped up in my food sensation, I choked and started coughing. Shit! Coughing, I opened my eyes as they watered and found none other than Michael. Great, this wasn't looking stupid at all. He looked at me with alarm.
âAre you okay?â
I nodded, holding up a hand.
âFine... just... choking.. a little,â I managed to get out before my last coughs. I cleared my throat, letting out a breath. Then I laughed a little. âWhew. That was tiring.â
Michael chuckled.
âLooked like it, too.â
âSo,â I said, smiling. âHow are you? How is everything?â
âIt's good, it's good. What about you?â
âOh, you know, the usual; a kidnapping here, another one there. Nothing special. The food here is special, though, that's something, mhm.â
âRight, I heard about those kidnappings. Those people seriously need to be taught a lecture.â
âYou got that one right,â I muttered. I put a smile on my face. âAnyways, how's it going with the girls? Any luck?â
He shook his head. âNope, not yet.â
I smiled. âIt'll come when it's the right time.â
He smiled back. âI know.â
We stood there a few seconds, both of us quiet. I smiled awkwardly, waiting for him to say something and thankfully, he did.
âWell, I'll be moving on then,â he said, grinning. âHave fun.â
âYes, I'll see you later,â I said, grinning back. He winked, walking away. Well, that was that.
UNTIL NEXT TIME!
