Chapter 374
Bride Behind The Mask
The next morning, at Royal Elite Kindergarten.
Just as Teresa hopped out of the car, she spotted three familiar figures up ahead.
âHayes!â she called out.
The three turned around at the sound of her voice, and Hayes immediately rushed over to Teresa for a hug.
Teresa noticed Yuna smiling sweetly at her. Although her smile was sweet, it sent a chill down Teresaâs spine.
âWhy is your mom here? Did she bother you last night?â Teresa asked.
Hayes shook his head, âNoâ¦I think Mommyâ¦is starting to like me. She worries about me and Manley, and wants to walk us to classâ¦â
Teresa was overjoyed, âLittle Mute! You are talking so much today! Thatâs amazing!â
Hayes realized his progress as well. Although it was hard for him to speak, he was still happy.
He scratched his head, his cheeks flushed, âItâs allâ¦because of youâ¦â
Teresa was genuinely happy for Hayes and glanced at Yuna.
After last nightâs incident, she guessed that the old witch would try to win Hayes over.
Otherwise, she might be kicked out of the estate by Hayesâ dad!
Teresa happily took Hayesâ hand and walked confidently towards Yuna, âGood morning, Auntie Yuna.
You donât have to walk Hayes to class, I can take care of that.â
Upon seeing Teresa, Yuna was so angry she could almost bite through her own teeth.
However, she still managed to squeeze out a smile, âOf course, Teresa. Iâm counting on you to take care of Hayes!â
Teresa pounded her chest in response, âConsider it done!â
With that, the two children turned around and bounced off towards the school building.
Once they were out of sight, Yunaâs eyes filled with rage, her teeth grinding in fury, âYou little brat! I will find a way to get rid of you!â
With that, Yuna dropped off Manley in class and went straight to the principalâs office.
The principal was a middle-aged man with a bald head. He sat back in his chair, holding a cup.
âMs. Lockwood, what can I do for you?â he asked.
Yuna sat down on the couch, crossing her legs and got straight to the point, âDo you know a girl named Teresa?â
Yunaâs visit was aimed at investigating Teresaâs background.
She was just a mere little girl, but she ignored Yunaâs threats, and even made her look like a fool.
What kind of background did this girl have to develop such an audacious and flamboyant personality?
She had to find out more about her!
After all, knowing oneself and the enemy is the key to victory!
The principal took a sip of water, pretending to be clueless, âTeresa? We have lots of students named Teresa here. Which one are you referring to?â
Yuna was impatient, âThe leader of the Vine Whip Alliance!â
âOh, that Teresa. Yes, I know her. What about her?â the principal replied.
âDo you know who her parents are?â
The principal rocked back and forth in his chair, his hand tapping on the armrest.
As the kindergartenâs largest shareholder, Maurice was Teresaâs father, and everyone knew that.
But it wasnât something he could reveal.
So, he deflected the question, âWhy? Did Teresa upset your children?â
Yuna seized the opportunity to nod, her eyes filled with rage, âThat girl is a bad influence to my children! At such a young age, sheâs already forming gangs. You must punish her severely, Principal!
You canât let her corrupt the school environment!â
The principal said, âYou mean Vine Whip Alliance? Yes, Iâm aware of it.â
âYou know?â Yuna was shocked, âYou know and youâre not doing anything? What are you waiting for!â
Yuna was fuming, as if not punishing Teresa was a heinous crime.
The principal calmly rocked in his chair, looking at Yuna, âIndeed, forming gangs at such a young age is not a good habit. Many teachers have reported it, but I chose to turn a blind eye. Ms. Lockwood, do you have any idea why I would do that?â
