My heart hurts

Caitlin's POV :

"Bella, take this too. Why aren't you eating? I have all these prepared especially for you."Ronnie said to Bella.

"Ron, I am really full."she said smiling.

"No, you have to eat some more."saying this he grabbed the spoon from her plate and scooped food with the spoon.

"Here, open your mouth!"he said smiling.

"No, Ron, please."she said smiling.

"Bella, please, for me."he said and she sighed and took the bite.

"You are still like a kid."he teased her and both of them started laughing.

They are so perfect and happy together. My heart hurts a lot. I wish it was me in her place, but I know that's never gonna happen, he loves only her. I feel like crying...but, I can't cry infront of them.

"Hey, Caitlin, why aren't you eating anything?"she asked me suddenly.

I looked at her surprised.

"I am eating."I replied forcing a smile.

"No, you aren't. Look at your plate, it's still full."she said with concerned eyes.

"I don't feel hungry."I said looking at my plate.

"Is there something on your mind, Caitlin. You prepared all these and I am sure you must be pretty tired, yet, you aren't eating anything. That's not good."she said concerned.

Why is she so concerned about me? The one whom I want to be concerned for me don't care, then why does she care? I don't feel like eating. The pain in my heart is increasing more and more.

"I am really not hungry."I said trying to smile.

"Are you really ok? I mean, you are not sick, are you?"she asked me.

"No, I am not. You don't have to worry so much about me. I am fine."I said and looked at Ronnie. He is looking at me.

Our eyes met. I can't stop my tears now.

"Excuse me."I said and left the dining table and went to my room.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks. I can't see them together. It hurts me. I never thought that falling in love will bring this much pain.

I tried to compose myself and then went out.

"Did you enjoy the dinner?"I asked Bella after dinner.

"Yes, the food was delicious."she said smiling.

"I was thinking that I should go to my uncle's house to stay for today."I said smiling trying to smile.

"What? Why? And moreover your uncle is on his honeymoon and won't be back till this weekend, right?"Ronnie asked shocked.

"Yes, but I have keys. I will come directly to office tomorrow."I said.

"Why do you want to go?"he asked confused.

"I think...I should leave you two alone...."I said looking down.

"No...no...I am going to go now."Bella said surprised.

"Slave! You are not allowed to go anywhere. Got it."he said irritated.

I looked at him confused.

"Bella, come, I will accompany you to your car."he said to Bella and she nodded.

Then both of them left.

I just stood there, confused with tears in my eyes. Why was he angry? I sighed, I made him angry. I shouldn't have said something like that...why did I say that?

I went to my room and sat on my bed crying. I feel like I will die due to this pain. It's like my heart is breaking into pieces. My heart is broken.!! I cried...I cried and soon fell asleep.

Ronnie's POV :

I am sure Cait is going to be so jealous that she will realise her feelings and then we both will be together...forever. I looked at Cait from the corner of my eyes. She..she isn't eating anything...what's wrong with her? I looked at Bella concerned and signalled her to look at Cait. She looked at her and then back at me and nodded.

"Hey, Caitlin, why aren't you eating anything?"Bella asked Cait.

"I am eating."Cait replied smiling smiling .

"No, you aren't. Look at your plate, it's still full."Bella said concerned.

"I don't feel hungry."Cait said looking at her plate.

What's wrong with Cait? Is she ok? I am so concerned about her but I can't ask her directly otherwise my plan to make her jealous will fail.

"Is there something on your mind, Caitlin. You prepared all these and I am sure you must be pretty tired yet, you aren't eating anything. That's not good."Bella said concerned.

"I am really not hungry."Cait said trying to smile.

"Are you really ok? I mean, you are not sick, are you?"Bella asked.

"No, I am not. You don't have to worry so much about me. I am fine."Cait said and looked at me.

Our eyes met. I can't do this, I have to know what's wrong. I will ask her myself. I was about to say when...

"Excuse me."she said suddenly and left the dining table.

Why is she being like this? Maybe she is jealous...but, she looked sad and hurt rather than angry and jealous.

"Ron, I don't think this is working correctly. I mean, I think this is too much. What if she really misunderstands?"Bella said concerned after Cait left.

I looked at her.

"No, nothing is going to get wrong. I think she is just jealous, our plan is working. Don't worry."I said smiling nervously.

"Ron, are you sure. You looked at her, right? She seemed sad to me."she said worried.

"Bella, I said it's ok. I don't think there is anything to get worried about."I said.

Just then Cait came back. I too felt the same as Bella but why will Cait be sad?

What does that mean? Why...leave me and Bella alone?? What is she thinking???

We both looked at each other shocked.

"No...no...I am going to go now."Bella said surprised.

We both left the house and walked towards her car.

"Ron, I think she has misunderstood our relationship."Bella said when we reached her car.

"I think she is just jealous so she said something like that. And moreover everything's gonna get perfect after these three days when I will confess to her, if she has any misunderstanding that will also vanish that time."I said opening her car's door for her.

"Ron, I really think you should stop this plan of yours."she said worried.

"No!! The plan is going so perfectly."I said.

She sighed and said, "Ron, I think it's really not working and so I am not gonna help you anymore. If you want to confess after your agreement gets over then it's fine but no more making her jealous."she said seriously.

"Bella..."I was saying when she interrupted me, "Ron, I don't want to hear anything else. Bye."

She started the engine and took off.

I too think Cait seemed sad but maybe she is just jealous. I went back to the house immersed in thoughts. I should talk to Cait and ask her why she said that kind of thing.

"Slave!! Slave!!"I called out.

Why isn't she answering?

"Cait!!!"I said. She still didn't answered. I thought she will answer no matter what because I called her Cait which will really surprise her.

I went to her room and lift my hand to knock on the door...should I knock or not? I kept my hand down sighing. I kept my hand on the door...it's open!! I went in...she is sleeping. I went towards her bed...she looks so beautiful even when she is asleep. I want to stroke her hair but I can't. Tears!!! Is this tears?? Was she crying??? Why will she cry?? Was Bella right?? My heart hurt to even think that she cried.

Cait, I promise, after these three days I won't let even a drop of tear fall from your eyes. But, I will have to wait for these three days so that I can give her watch back to her and then she will give it to me by her own will.

The one who can treasure the watch will be the one whom you will give your heart to but you said that it will be valid only when you will give it to him yourself on your own free will. So, I will have to wait.

Cait thinks Ronnie likes Bella. Ronnie thinks that his plan is working and Cait is just getting jealous. He is waiting only because he wants Cait to give her watch to him herself. But, will these three days change everything or will they get together in the end?
