Life was blissful for Sai and Virat. Months passed and slowly not their closeness increased but their bonding also grew strong. Their emotional outburst and the date night after that had really melted the ice and now there was only warmth, a comfortable warmth of their love. Sai was always there and now Virat was also getting there where one's heart beats for their loved one and there is no going back from it.

Now Virat was also head over heel in love with Sai though he had not confessed it yet. He wanted to do it in a grand way. He was planning it since few days. Sai could see his changed behavior. She could even sense his feelings but still wanted to hear it from his mouth as she didn't want to nurture any false hope in her heart.

Virat was now working hard for launching their own label. He had to go to Mumbai for business deal with a pan India retail chain company. He was very optimistic regarding this deal. Sai had stood with him in this decision and was giving continuous support to him inspite of initial doubts shown to the idea by both of their fathers. Virat wanted to get this deal done anyhow as it would take their business to new heights. He was ready to face the challenges but he did not expect that he would come face to face his past, his bitter past which he wanted to forget like it never happened.

"Hello Mr. Chavan, please to meet you. I think we have already finalized everything just some legal formalities left. Our manager will brief you about it. I am sorry, I can't be present for the same as I have some urgent personal work to attend to." said the MD of the company with whom Virat wanted to sign the deal.

Virat nodded and shook his hands with the MD, then turned towards his manager with a polite smile on his face. But as he saw that person, his smile dropped immediately.

"Hey there! Hope you haven't forgot me. What a small world! So we met again."  Pakhi arched her eyebrows and gave a wicked sexy smile as she extended her hand to greet Virat.

"Tum yaha?" Virat asked the obvious question.

"I work here as a manager Virat." Pakhi informed him with a sly smile. She noticed her MD has already left.

"Forget it! I am not gonna discuss my company's contract with you. I am calling your MD and rescheduling this meeting. I will ask him to send someone intelligent enough for this work." Virat commented and turned to leave the room.

"Oh come on now, don't throw tantrums. Kya kahoge MD sir se ki unki manager tumhari ex girlfriend and almost biwi thi isliye tum ye profitable deal uske sath discuss nahi kar sakte? Don't you think it will sound so unprofessional?" Pakhi laughed a little.

Even though Virat wanted to argue but then he thought she is right, it will sound very unprofessional on his part. Besides, it was just a business meeting so he should take it that way.  "Fine! Go ahead with it." Virat replied and gestured her and also his legal team to sit down to discuss the contract.

Pakhi smirked at him. She got what she wanted, a golden chance to get back what she lost. Ever since she had heard from some of their common friends that Virat dropped his idea of his own startup and was handling his baba's business and that too very successfully, she was cursing her fate. If she had shown a little patience that day, Virat would have been hers and so his all properties. But now that destiny has sent him again to her, she will not this chance go and will do everything to make him hers.

She came and sat near him instead of sitting opposite him. But Virat was unperturbed by it. He resolved in his heart to end this meeting as peacefully and amicably as possible. She started reading out loud the legal contract and Virat kept discussing it with his lawyer and team. He suddenly felt something crawled up his leg. He looked down and was disgusted to see that Pakhi was rubbing her foot on his leg.

He gave her hateful glance. "Will you keep your leg at a little distance please."

"Oops! I didn't realize. Sorry Virat." Pakhi made an excuse.

"Actually its Mr. Chavan for you. Don't forget this is a business deal and I would like to keep it like that only. We are not friends anymore." Virat showed her the mirror.

They continued to discuss the contract again. But Pakhi was not going to back down so easily. She desperately wanted to have his attention back and she really hoped that her flirting, touching will fetch her results. So she continued her shenanigans.

The second time Virat felt her leg rubbing on his foot he stood up from his chair. "Ms. Pakhi I have some important work. I have already discussed all the important points with you. My team will look after rest of the points." Virat said as left from there.

Pakhi saw her plan was failing. She also excused herself from there and followed him into the lift.

"Virat, listen to me." Pakhi requested.

Virat entered the lift and once the door was closed he screamed at her, "What the hell was that Pakhi? What were you trying to do there? I didn't want to create any scene that's why I tolerated you or else I would have given befitting reply of your disgusting act then and there." Virat made his stand clear.

"Virat, meri baat toh suno....wo achanak tumhe itne dino baad dekh kar....mujhe hamara rishta yaad aa gaya....main aaj tak tumhe bhul nahi paayi hoon....I still love you." Pakhi said as she tried to come close to him.

"Magar main bhul chukka hoon...sab kuch...I have moved on...and I am married now." Virat clarified.

"Ya, I got to know from some common friends that majburi mein tumhe us behenji Sai se shadi karni padi and you also agreed to join your father's business. I feel sorry for you." Pakhi showed fake concern.

"Mind your language first. You are talking about my wife. And meri koi majburi nahi thi....maine apni marzi se Sai se shadi ki hai aur main bahut khush hoon." Virat gave straight forward reply.

"Don't lie Virat, You loved me....we had a serious relationship....we broke up on marriage altar just because of some misunderstanding....you cant move on so easily...I know you still love me just don't want to accept it. I can see it in your eyes." Pakhi said and came close to him.

She put her hands around his neck. "I love you Virat. I accept that it was my mistake to break up with you...I should have trusted you....but I was influenced by my parents.... I regret that decision. I want you back in my life....lets get back together." Pakhi said again and came close to kiss him.

Virat held her both hands and pushed her away with jerk. Pakhi staggered back and bumped into lift wall hurting herself. "What the hell? Is this the way to behave?" She asked getting angry.

"Yes, tum jaiso ke sath aisa hi behave karna padta hai to remind you of your place." Virat replied equally angry.

Pakhi started shedding crocodile tears to get sympathy from him.

"No, don't bother. I am not stupid to believe your act. You wanted to marry me for money. You are just an employee in this company and now that you came to know that I joined my father's business you again become interested in me. How greedy can you get? You know there was a time when I liked you then what you did to me on the marriage day I started hating you but you know, now I don't feel anything for you...not even hate....you just exist for me just like any other human being...I am not affected by you and certainly not interested in you." Virat said and left from there as finally lift reached ground floor.

Virat came back Nagpur but Pakhi didn't stop bothering him. The way he behaved with her in the lift she took it upon her ego and now wanted to win him back at any cost. She kept calling him and messaging him. Virat kept ignoring her calls and messages. He only attended it when he had to communicate with her regarding business. He even considered to cancel this deal with her company but then thought she was just their employee and he should not lose such profitable deal for their business. Some days passed like this and Virat was hell irritated from her now. He decided that he will finally confront her and put an end to this.

He read her last message. "Please Virat, I love you. I miss you so much. I know you miss me too. You are just lying that you are happy in your marriage. For once, come to meet me. I will never let you go."

Virat typed the reply, "I want to meet you too. Want to clear all the things once and for all. Will meet you on next weekend in Mumbai."

Next weekend was his birthday and he was supposed to go Mumbai for the last time regarding this deal. He decided to take Sai with him too. He thought he will confess his love to Sai and clear everything with Pakhi, telling her to get out of his life forever and will mark the new beginning of his life.

On the other hand, Sai was lost in her own world since she found out that she was pregnant. She was not shocked by the news as none of them ever cared about using protection but she was nervous how to break this news to Virat. How he will react? She was noticing Virat was tensed since some days now. Ever since he was handling this business deal he became frustrated and cranky. He was doing so much hard work for their company but seems like it was taking a toll on his health now. But the good news was that finally this deal was completed and Virat was supposed to go next weekend there. It was his birthday. He had asked her to come with him as he wanted to celebrate his birthday with her. He had also said that he wanted to say something very important to her. Sai had decided that as a birthday gift she will break this news to him on that day only.
