“Ruhi…" Aaruhi blinks her eyes hearing Ryan's voice.

Opening her sleepy eyes, she saw Ryan sitting in front of her. He smiles at her and caresses her face gently.

“Eat something then you can sleep back," he said to her.

Aaruhi sat on the bed as he helped her, holding her hands.

"What time is it??” she asked.

"8 pm….” he told her, making her eyes widen.

“Why didn't you wake me up?? God I have been sleeping for so long.."

"Relax, Ruhi…” he said, holding her face in his palms, making her look at him. Her frown eyebrows relax seeing his soft expression.

“Why are you getting so stressed, love? Also your body needs rest. Stop stressing, okay," He softly said while gazing his thumb lightly on her cheek.

"But Ryan-” he stopped her, placing his thumb on her lips.

"No but or if…first have your dinner then we can talk,” saying, he took the tray from the side table and placed it on the bed.

Aaruhi looks at the tray to see her favorite mushroom curry and Jeera rice. She looks up at Ryan and smiles.

“Aaravi told me you love mushroom curry and rice," he told her while mixing curry with rice.

She is smiling and staring at him feeling so blessed to have him.

Ryan forwards a bite near her lips making her eat. She felt her heart filled with warmth as she chewed the food. It tasted more delicious today.

Unknown to her, tears filled her eyes at his care.

Ryan looks to feed her again but frowns in worry seeing her tears.

“What happened?? Is it spicy??" He asked to shake her head and blink back her tears.

"It is too good,” she whispered emotionally.

Ryan saw her smiling.

"Then why are these tears??” he asked, bringing a spoon near her lips. She takes the bite and moves her head side to side.

"I won't tell you,” she said with her mouth full and grin.

Ryan chuckled softly at her.

"Did you have your dinner??” Aaruhi asked him to give him a glass after she drank water.

“Hmm…" he hummed and placed the plate in the tray aside.

“You can rest now…I have some work. I will be in the study room, okay??" Aaruhi nodded with a small smile.

Ryan kisses her head, making her smile widely.

“Call me if you need anything…" he said after giving a small gentle perk on her lips.

She nodded while blushing. Ryan smiled at her reaction and walked out of the room taking a tray with him.

Aaruhi bites her lower lips, stopping herself from smiling widely.

“Oww!!!" Suddenly she clutched her stomach feeling cramp.

"I hate periods…” she mutters in anger and pain before lying on the bed.

Around midnight, the door of their  bedroom opened slowly. Ryan steps inside quietly and closes the door behind. But suddenly a frown appeared on his face, seeing the bed empty.

His eyes went to the washroom. Placing his files on the table, he was about to check on her but stopped in his way seeing the balcony door open.

As the curtain flew due to wind, his eyes caught a figure of his wife, sitting on the swing outside.

He made his way near her. He smiles as she is wearing his hoodie. She is doing something on her phone.

She looks up, feeling a presence and instantly her lips curve seeing Ryan coming towards her.

“What are you doing here at midnight?? Aren't you feeling cold?" He asked her.

"I am not feeling sleepy. And the room seems lonely, so I come here,” she said and stood up.

“You must be tired and sleepy…," she said and holding his hand, she walked inside the room.

"I am coming after changing…you sit,” Ryan said and walked inside the closet.

Aaruhi put her phone on the charger and sat on the bed waiting for him.

After a few minutes, he comes back and joins her in the bed. She moves close to him and hugs him, placing her head on his shoulder.

Ryan smiles and pulls her more to himself. Wrapping his arms around her, he kissed her cheek softly and started caressing her back.

“Good night,"

Aaruhi smiles and places her lips on his jaw and snuggles her face in his chest before closing her eyes.

Few days later

Ryan was signing some financial reports when a light knock came on his office door.

“Come in," he replied in his firm and cold voice, still fixing his gaze on the papers in his hands.

Trisha looks at him and slowly walks near his desk. She smiles, watching him so focused on his work.

Ryan looks up to see and frowns seeing Trisha.

“Yes??"

Her smile dropped from her face at his emotionless tone. She looked at his face and her heart clenched seeing his straight face.

"Ryan..” she whispered softly, looking at him with sadness in her eyes.

“Actually I wanted to say sorry. I knew you even before we met. I also know you are angry with- "

"Why would I miss Trisha?? Who are you to me so that I got angry with you? We are just employers and employees. Don't worry, I know my limits,” he told her genuinely what he felt.

Tears formed in her eyes hearing him.

“Ryan, you are very special to me. You may not remember but we were really close. We used to share everything with each other. We were best friends, Ryan. But suddenly one day, you disappeared from my life leaving me alone. You have no idea how much I cried after you left… " she said, crying silently.

But seeing Ryan blank face she wiped her tears.

"I have been searching for you since then… We were betrothal, Ryan…" she said and sniffed, expecting him to react to this.

"I lov-” Her words cut off in the middle when Ryan glared at her, slamming his hand hard on the table.

“Stay in your limits, Miss Trisha. If you forget then let me remind you, I am married and have a wife. So stop your nonsense. I don't care what our past was. And please get out of here. And you will get your terminal soon. Thank you for your time and service to my company,"  Ryan said in his hard voice making Trisha shiver in shiver looking at his angry face.

She looks at him and fist her hand on her sides seeing him like this. She is feeling hurt and angry at his nonchalant behaviour even after the revelation of their past relationship.

At the same time his phone ring making him look at the caller. His hard expression softened suddenly looking at his wife's name on the screen.

While Trisha fumes looking at Ruhi's name on his phone screen.

Sliding the green icon, he brings his phone to his ear.

“Ruhi…"  he said in a soft and loving voice.

Trisha looks at him with tearful eyes and clenches her fists more tightly to control her anger.

“Okay, I will be there…anything else, wifely.." he smiled at something she said.

Trisha looks at his smile for a moment and turns around before storming out of the office.

“He is married now. My Ryan now belongs to somone else. He is not yours now, Trisha…he is not my bunny anymore," she said to herself while wiping her tears harshly but they keep flowing down.

“Anything else, wife.." Aaruhi smiles at hearing him.

"No, that's all, dear husband,” she replied, making him chuckle slightly.

"Okay then see you in the evening,...”

"Take care…love you,” she said, making her husband's heart beat fast at her sweet words.

Before he could get back to his senses, Aaruhi cut the call.

Ryan blinks his eyes looking at his phone screen. He stares at Aaruhi's face as he has her photo as his home screen.

Looking at her beautiful face with a wide smile on her face, he smiles and shakes his head lightly as her love confession rings back in his ears.

He looks up to find his office empty and sighs, placing his phone on the table. He remembers Trisha's words and feels frustration with all these new dramas in her life. He rub his face and look up, letting out a deep breath

“I don't want any more drama in my life, God. I am really happy and content with whatever I have…" he said to himself.

Checking his watch, Ryan again looked ahead. He is standing infront of Aaruhi's office waiting for her, leaning against his car.

As Aaruhi's car is still at Agnihotri house, Ryan has come to pick her up.

After waiting for a few more minutes, he was about to call her but at the same time she appeared from inside the building.

Ryan stops and looks at her walking while looking at her purse with a frown. He smiles in admiration as she is looking so good in a business suit. She is walking so elegantly in heels.

Ryan walked near her with slow steps as she didn't see him yet.

“Ruhi…" he called her, making snap her head and she smiled seeing him in front of her.

She walked to him and hugged him tightly. He instantly wraps his arms around her waist and places a small kiss on her temple.

“How are you?" He asks as they pull back but he is still holding her hands.

"Good, you??”

"Same ..” she nodded with a smile.

Ryan took her handbag and walked to the car, holding her hand.

“How was your day in the office?" He asked once they settled inside the car.

"It was awesome…” She happily replies as everyone congratulates her for her wedding and blesses her and Ryan. Some of her colleagues tease her saying she is still glowing like a newly bride even after almost one month of their wedding.

Ryan smiles seeing her happy face and smiles before starting the car.

“Ryan stopped at the grocery store…I have to buy a few things," she told him.

After a while, he parked his car in front of a big grocery store.

Aaruhi stepped down and was about to take her handbag but he stopped her.

“I have my wallet…no need to carry it," Aaruhi nodded and closed the car door.

Walking along the long aisle, Aaruhi searches for the things. Ryan was just casually walking beside her and helping her find the things.

Aaruhi was reading the back side of some product. Ryan moves his eyes around casually while she is busy checking the product.

Suddenly his eyes catch something. He looked at Aaruhi before looking back at the thing placed in the upper shelf.

He walked there, leaving Aaruhi. He told it and walked back to where Aaruhi is.

Aaruhi looked up after dropping the packet in the cart.

“I am done…" Ryan nodded.

Standing in front of the counter as their turn comes.

After placing everything on the counter for billing, Ryan placed the thing on the counter making Aaruhi freeze for a second. She looked at him then at the box with a thudding heart.

Suddenly her face turned red in shyness. She looks away when Ryan moves his gaze at her.

“Let’s go, Ruhi …" He said after making payment and holding the bag of groceries.

She nodded and quickly turned to go out of the store to escape from all the gazes on her and Ryan.

Ryan chuckled, seeing her walking so fast out of the store.

“Aaru, take your and Ryan's glass of milk…" Kritika said as she placed two glasses of milk in a tray.

“Chachi I don't want. Take one glass back," she said, making faces.

Siya, who was making chocolate milk for Kris and Kabir, let out a laugh.

“Kriti, give her milk glass to me…I will make a chocolate shake for her. Is it okay, Aaru?" Aaruhi nodded happily.

Kritika and Siya laugh softly at her.

“Give these to me, Ma," Aaruhi places Kris and Kabir's chocolate shake in the tray along with her and Ryan's glass.

She walks out of the kitchen and sees Kris and Kabir in the living room watching a match.

She went to them, making them turn to her and smile.

She smile back,

“Here is your chocolate milk…"  she said, placing their glass on the table.

"Thank Bhabhi…come sit with us,” Kris said, taking his glass in his hand.

"I have to give milk to your Bhai…You two also go and sleep, it's already very late..”

“We are going after this match.." she hums and pat their heads lovingly.

"Good night, bachcha…Don't stay awake for long,” they nodded their heads.

“Good night, beautiful Bhabhi…"

"Good night, Bhabhi..”

They said together. She chuckles and shakes her head lightly.

She comes into her room and places Ryan's glass of milk on the nightstand. She saw the closet door open.

At the same time, Ryan walked out from the closet. Looking at his wet and messy hair, she realizes he just took a shower.

Ryan looks at her. Giving a small smile, he turned towards the mirror and brushed back his hair with his fingers.

“Sweetheart, stop staring at me like this,” he said in a teasing tone, feeling her eyes on her.

Aaruhi cough and look up, realizing she has been staring at him for a while now.

Ryan smiles, seeing her cupping her red cheeks in the mirror.

Aaruhi ran inside the bathroom seeing his teasing look in the mirror.

Changing into her night dress, Aaruhi came out of the closet and sat on the bed beside Ryan.

He places his phone on the nightstand and switches off the lights.

“Ryan,..." Aaruhi softly calls him when he hugs and closes his eyes.

"Hmm…" he humm softly.

“You should go and meet your grandmother. Ma was saying, she is not doing well these days. Just meet her once.." she felt his grip on her waist tighten.

Bringing her hand on his face, she softly caresses his cheek before kissing it.

"She called Ma today and was crying to see her daughter's son once…"

Ryan sighs and opens his eyes. His eyes stare into her innocent doe.

“Think about it, Ryan… I am always with you in every decision," she said softly and smiled.

"I know, Meri Jaan. Thank you so much,” saying, he moved his face near her and placed a small kiss on her lips.

Aaruhi closed her eyes when he nudged his face in her neck and started kissing her shoulder and neck.

Soon their clothes were thrown away from their bodies before they got lost into each other.

“Today Trisha met me in the office," Ryan said in a low voice as he was braiding her hair loosely while laying beside her on the bed.

Aaruhi hum with close eyes.

“She told me I was betrothed to her in childhood," Aaruhi opened her eyes and turned to him with wide eyes.

"What?!” She exclaimed in shock and fear.
