After changing into simple clothes, Aaruhi lay down on the bed but she is feeling sleepy. She stares into space thinking about everything that has happened to her in the last two days.

Slowly her eyes filled with tears as she realized how she could fight for others if she couldn't fight herself and save herself from evil people. How incompetent she is.

She wipes the tear as it slips from the corner and turns on her side, closing her eyes, not wanting to think about anything. But tears keep rolling down from her close eyes noiselessly.

“I am here, Dad. Just leave that bastard for me. I will take care of him," Abhi said looking at his father then looking at his grandfather for approval.

Ryan and Abhi are sitting with their fathers and grandfather in Ruhaan's office to decide the fate of Samrat, for the unforgivable crime he had committed.

Jaiveer looks at his grandson who is burning in anger for revenge.

“Abhi, leave him for me. I suggest you not be involved in this. You are participating in the election, it may harm your image, " Arjun suggested.

"But Papa-”

“Trust me, he will not be able to see the open sky for a lifetime. No one can get away after hurting my children. He will rot in jail, I will make sure of it. I don't want you to get your hands dirty for that pest," Hearing Arjun everyone agreed. He is a top lawyer who knows how the law works. And he is an expert in turning the case in his favor. Also he doesn't want his children to be involved in unlawful activities.

He knows how to play fair yet dirty. And he won't get easy on anyone who hurt his princess. He makes sure he regrets every single minute of his life.

“I am with Arjun Bhai. He is right," Ruhaan second him.

Jaiveer gives a nod to Arjun.

“Abhi, let Arjun do his work. He will deal with him and law," Abhimanyu silent for a moment then nodded reluctantly.

All the while Ryan is looking a little lost and tense. He is thinking about Aaruhi and is worried for her.

Ruhaan notice his son's expression and ask,

“Ryan, is everything alright?"

He look at his father and give a quick smile,

"Yes Dad…”

"Bhai, you should go and rest. Last few days were really stressful for you,” Abhimanyu told him, knowing he must be thinking about Aaruhi.

“Abhi is right, beta. Go rest for a while. Abhi, you also go, " Arjun said.

The young men left the room leaving the elders who got busy discussing politics and business.

As Ryan slowly opened the door of his room, he saw his wife sleeping on the bed. Closing the door, he walked towards her and saw her eyes close.

His heart clenched seeing her eyelashes wet with tears. With his thumb, he gently wiped her lashes and kissed her head.

Suddenly, her eyes flew open feeling his lips on her head. She stared at him, blinking her eyes.

“ I disturb you..." He slowly said.

She sat up on the bed saying,

“No, I was just lying,…”

“Did you eat something?" He asked her, sitting on the bed in front of her.

Nodding her head, she slowly slid to him and placed her head on his lap. Ryan smiles at her and places his hand on her hair.

She closed her eyes when he started running his fingers through her hair and gently massaging her head.

They didn't talk, just enjoy the silence between them. He felt good seeing her relaxed face.

Aaruhi opens her eyes after a while and stares at her husband who is looking back at her with a heartwarming smile. Her lips curve a little seeing him. Ryan bent down and placed his warm lips on her forehead.

“Feeling good?" She just smiled in reply.

"Now sleep, I will wake you up at the time of dinner, hm,” he told her and started patting her head as if she is a baby.

“I don't want to sleep…" she whispered.

"Then what do you want to do, Mrs. Roy,” he playfully, still patting her head.

"I wanted to cuddle and snuggle in my husband's arms," she innocently said, looking at him with a small smile.

His heart skips a beat as she is staring at him with love.

“As my wife wants,...let me change, okay,.." she nodded and sat straight to let him go to freshen up.

After a while,

Snuggling into her husband's embrace, Aaruhi plays with his slightly damp lock while Ryan is reading a book for her in one hand and the other wrapped around her.

“Ryan?" Suddenly she whispers, gaining her husband's attention.

He turned to her, placing the book on his stomach.

She looked at him with a tense expression.

“I didn't get my periods this month…" she informed him. He frowned before his eyes widened in realization.

“Are you.." he couldn't utter further due to shock.

“Maybe,... As my periods are always irregular and something I didn't get for a month or two…,” She told him and sighed, placing her head on his chest.

“It’s not a good sign, Ruhi. We will go to the doctor tomorrow for your checkup…" he said to which she nodded slowly.

"What if I am pregnant?” As she said this, a big smile formed on Ryan's face.

"Then I will be the happiest person…” he told her suddenly feeling excited about the good news.

Seeing him, Aaruhi also smiles as she imagines a cute little version of them. And silently pray for a baby. She wants her prediction to be true.

“It will be so beautiful to have a mini you running around…" he said with a dreamy smile, making Aaruhi chuckled .

"What about a mini you?” she asks to which he frowns and looks at her.

"Our first child will be a girl, just like her Mumma, I know,” Aaruhi felt butterflies in her belly, hearing him. Then she smiled at him.

He kisses her forehead lovingly. She sighs softly.

After a moment of silence, she again said,

“What if I am not pregnant?" She asked him looking at his hand which was holding her small palm, placed on his chest.

“Then we can always make babies…" he playfully said to which she bite her lower lips and heat crept to her face at his words. But there is a glow on her face with a small shy smile on her lips.

He saw her red cheeks and chuckle softly.

“You are just too cute, Jaan…" he whispered to her, hugging her tightly and closely.

She smiles beautifully and hides her face in his neck when he kisses her hair.

“Chachi, let me take this," Aaruhi said, taking a casserole from Kritika.

“You should sit with others, beta. Helpers are here for my help," she softly said as they walked out of the kitchen to set the dinner.

Aaruhi just smiled at her and helped her.

“It's fine, Chachi. I love helping you and Ma," Kritika smiles at her and pat her head lovingly.

“Go call everyone from the living room till I bring water," nodding, Aaruhi went to the living room where everyone was chatting.

Her family is also there but they will leave after dinner. Ma and her Mumma prepare today's dinner for everyone.

She looks for her husband in the room and frowns not finding him anywhere.

“Looking for your husband," she flinched and turned hurriedly to see Aaravi looking at her with a naughty glint on her face.

“You scared me, Aavi…grow up, girl," she said and playfully narrowed her eyes at her to which she grinned showing her teeth.

"I am a grown up woman, Didu..and sorry for scaring," saying she held her arm and looked at her cutely earning chuckle from Aaruhi.

Lightly slapping her forehead, Aaruhi shakes her head.

“You are looking for Bhai??" Aaruhi nodded.

"Actually Bhai and Manyu went to buy ice cream for everyone,” she informed her.

Aaruhi nodded in understanding then called everyone for dinner.

Everyone sat down for the dinner except for Aaruhi and Aaravi as they are serving everyone. At the same time Ryan and Abhi also come with little Abheer in his father's arms.

As they enter, Ryan hands over the paper bag to Aaruhi. She went inside the kitchen to keep the ice cream in the fridge till everyone was eating their food.

Aaruhi sat beside Ryan and smiled seeing him serving for her.

The dinner was filled with gossip and laughter of both the families.

There is a permanent smile on Aaruhi's face as she enjoys the dinner while Ryan was at peace seeing her smiling and giggling with everyone. It was beautiful.

After a delicious dinner, everyone has ice cream for dessert.

“Take care, baby…" Ashika said as the Agnihotri family is now leaving.

Aaruhi hugged her after nodding at her with an assuring smile.

Arjun also hugs her and kisses her head lovingly.

“Don't worry about anything, hm," she smiled widely at him and kissed his cheek.

"I won't,” she said.

Then she hugged her grandparents lovingly.

“Don’t go baby," Taking Abheer from Abhi, she said, hugging him tightly to her chest.

He laugh and clap his hand happily,

"Taat..aa,’’ he babbles, waving his hand at Ryan who is standing beside Aaruhi.

Everyone laughs while Ryan kisses his cheeks tightly making him squeal and snuggle into Aaruhi's embrace.

After bidding bye, Agnihotri left while everyone went back to their room to sleep.

Smiling to herself, Aaruhi slightly turns back to see Ryan following her in the kitchen as she is filling a bottle to take to their room.

He hugs her from behind when she is filling the bottle. She slightly turns her head towards him and instantly grins when he lovingly kisses her cheek.

“Ryan…” she said giggling when he began kissing the side of her face playfully.

He turned off the water, seeing the bottle filled. Closing the cap, Aaruhi turns around in his arms holding the water bottle.

He softly perks her lips and lifts her in his arms, taking her upstairs to their room. Leaning her head on his shoulder, she stares at him with love and adoration while he is slowly walking towards their room.
