Feeling gently tap on her left cheek, Aaruhi wake up and slowly open her her eyelashes. She rub her eyes feeling itchy them burning due to crying.

“Don’t rub them, Ruhi.." she stop, hearing a soft voice of her husband and blink her eyes to clear her vision and saw him sitting beside her on the bed and looking at her with soft eyes.

He smile lightly, seeing her blankly staring at him with her puffy eyes. He lightly brush a hair strand from her face and tuck it behind her ear.

“How are you feeling, love?" She smile emotionally and close her eyes as he call her with endearments he used to call her with.

"Are you still mad at me? Please don't stay angry, Ryan…” she said, looking at him with glossy eyes and hold his hand which is placed on her cheek.

“Shh…don't cry. Calm down," he lovingly said and kiss her forehead.

“Get up. We have to go somewhere. Come on," he whispered to her and caress her face.

She frown while innocently looking at him.

“Where??" She asked.

"To the doctor…” as he said this, she frown more and sat up with his help.

“I am feeling better now. I don't want to go, please.." she plead.

Ryan sigh softly and hug her, making her overwhelm with her emotions. She fist his shirt collar, nuzzling her face into his neck seeking his warmth.

“Please, for me, Ruhi. Just let me assure myself…" he whispered softly still hugging her.

Aaruhi feels happy and scared at the same time. Happy that finally he is talking to her and showing his love and scared because she didn't want any more problem in their life. She didn't want to worry Ryan.

“Ruhi…please," he request her. She pull back a little but still clutching his shirt in her hands.

She nodded slowly looking at him. He smile and kiss her forehead,

“My brave girl…" she smile weakly and place his head on his shoulder.

He let her stay like for few minutes and keep hugging her. He felt her getting relax in his arms. And after a while, he look down at her and holding her chin, he made her face him.

“Go get shower till I arrange something for you to eat, hmm??" She pull back from his arms and nodded.

"Let me help you,” with this he pick her up in his arms and started walking towards the washroom.

Aaruhi stare at his face and lightly cup his right cheek. He look at her. Entering the washroom, he place on her feet.

“Are you still angry, Ryan??" She asked him feeling dreadful of his answer.

“I am not. Don't stress yourself…" He assure her in a love filled voice, calming her heart.

“Now get freshen up, hmm…" he said and walked out after caressing her head.

Aaruhi saw him closing the close behind him.

After half an hour, she comes back taking shower. She didn't find him in the room. Then she saw her clothes placed on the bed which made her smile.

Changing into that, she tie her hair in a low ponytail and fill her hairline with Sindoor.

At the sametime, Ryan come inside with a brunch for her. He place it on the table and wait for her to get ready.

She stood up after getting ready and saw fruit juice and sandwich in the tray. She lost her appetite seeing the food.

Taking slow step  towards him, she look at him.

“Come sit. Finish your food, we have to go to hospital,...” He said and holding her hand, he made her sit on the couch beside him.

She frown in distaste, looking at food in front of her.

"I am not feeling like. I am not hungry, Ryan…” she whispered, giving him cute look.

“It’s not done, Ruhi..you have to have something in your stomach. Or you will get more weak," he said making her understand and pick up a sandwich to feed her.

“Come on, open you mouth..” he said bringing the sandwich near her lips.

She glance at sandwich then look up at Ryan who blink his eyes.

Reluctantly, she took a small bite and turn her face away shaking her head.

“I am not liking it, Ryan…" she plead him cutely.

He sigh softly and place it back on the plate.

“Ok atleast drink the juice,” he told her seeing her so concerned for her, Aaruhi drink the juice.

“Shall we leave now?" He asked as she finish her juice.

Gulping in fear, she nodded slowly. Ryan stand up and took his car keys and phone from the nightstand. Aaruhi watch him when he walked infront of mirror and brush his hair. She smile at his this act. He really adore his hair.

“Let go," coming to her, he said and hold her hand.

They walked out and on reaching downstairs, Ryan inform one of the helper about their going out as everyone is at their work except their grandparents who must be in their room.

After making Aaruhi sat on the passenger seat, he took the driver seat and look at her.

“Just tell me if you feel unwell, okay?" She nodded softly and then starting the car, he pulled it out and drive off from their mansion premises.

The drive to the hospital is silent. Aaruhi keep glancing at him in between and find him concentrate on driving. While Ryan can feel her gaze on him from time to time but remain silent as he is worried for her and scared about her bad health.

After a while

“Here," Ryan forward the water bottle towards her. She took the bottle and take few gulp of cold water to calm her nerves.

He sat beside her and place his palm over her fist and opening her fist, he interwine their fingers together.

"Calm down,Ruhi…” he comfort her and taking their join hands near his lips, he kiss them lightly.

She smile slightly lean against him, placing her head on his chest.

They are waiting for her reports after doctor told them to get the needed tests done.

“Mrs. Aaruhi.."  a nurse comes out of the doctor cabin calling her name.

“Please come in,"

She sat straight alert before standing up with Ryan. They both walked into doctor cabin. Aaruhi held his hand, getting nervous and anxious.

“Please take your seats," the doctor ask them.

Ryan first ask Aaruhi to sit before he took his seat on visitors chair infront of doctor.

“I have your reports, dear…" the doctor said, opening her reports.

Ryan patiently wait for doctor to tell them but from inside he is anxious and scared. He just want her alright and healthy.

Whereas Aaruhi is nervous as she knows something wrong with her. She is feeling weak and tired from the last few days.

“Well…" the doctor look up at them from the report and smile at the couple.

“You are expecting, Aaruhi. Congratulations both of you, she is pregnant," as the doctor let these words out.

Aaruhi become still in her, not believing the words she just heard.

Ryan's expression turn shock for a second before a emotional smile formed on his face along with tears in his eyes.

He turn to his wife excitedly and a huge smile but frown seeing her blank face.

“Ruhi..," he softly called and hold her hand in his.

She look at him looking clueless and troubled. She is having hard time believing the doctor.

"Pregnant..?” she asked him as her voice turn heavily with emotions in the end, looking into Ryan's eyes.

He nodded his head and whispered,

"We are having a baby, Ruhi. You are pregnant, love…” he told her and lightly squeeze her hand which he is holding.

She rapidly blink her eyes feeling them filling with tears and place her palm over her belly.

She is controlling herself from bursting into tears feeling overly overwhelmed with sudden news which she was waiting for so long.

“I ..I," she sob silently wiping her tears with her hand. Ryan felt emotional seeing her and blink his own eyes to stop himself from letting out tears.

The doctor watch the couple with soft smile. She is happy for them as she knew how much both of them were struggling and longing for a child. They visited her for their issue. Now giving them the good news, she is feeling so happy and satisfied.

She forward tissue box towards them and give them some time to gather their emotions.

Ryan look at her give a grateful smile before taking a tissue paper and wipe Aaruhi's tears gently. She look up with tearful eyes and trembling chin but there is a glow of happiness on her face and beautiful smile on her lips which is providing solace to him.

“Shh…don't cry, Ruhi," he whispered dapping the tissue on her face to wipe her tears.

“We are going to be parents, Ryan…we will have our baby…" she smile emotionally and sniff lightly.

He nodded happily and smile back at her.

“Thank you,..." He whispered to her making, her smile brighter.

Then she realised that they are still sitting in front of doctor and turn to her with embarrassed face.

“I am so sorry, doctor. I just got overwhelmed that I-" The doctor wave off nonchalantly and smile at her.

"Oh, no worry, dear. I am happy for both of you,” She softly said.

“Thank you, doctor…" she said feeling extremely glad.

“It's my job, dear. Well let get your ultrasound also done to know how long is your little one come along, hmm..” They nodded before getting into the ultrasound room.

Aaruhi and Ryan look at the screen excitedly as the doctor started moving the wand around her belly. Aaruhi tightly holding Ryan's hand as their eyes fixed on the screen try to find their little blessing.

“Here is your little one. See that little bean like structure…" the doctor told them point at the small round figure on the black and white screen.

Tear roll down from Aaruhi's eyes and she bite her lower lips feeling it trembling and smile looking at their baby. Her heart filled with content. She send thousands of pray for her little one.

“It is so tiny and cute…" Ryan whispered staring lovingly at the screen. His face is glowing with happiness.

Aaruhi giggle, turning to him. He look at her with content smile and kiss her forehead.

“You are 6 weeks pregnant, Aaruhi…" The doctor inform her as they are now back to her cabin.

"Take good diet as you are already weak which is not good for you and baby. I am prescribing some multivitamins and iron and calcium supplements. You have to take them daily, okay?” Aaruhi nodded seriously. Ryan mentally making notes of everything that the doctor is telling them.

“And be careful as first trimester is most curious and difficult one,"

After few more suggestions and instructions from doctor. They left the hospital after taking her medicines.

As they sat in the car, Ryan turn to Aaruhi who is smiling affectionately looking at her tummy. He felt fulfill and heart is finally content and at peace seeing the real smile on her face.

His eyes then went to her belly and his heart skip a beat as the reality again hit. He is going to be a father. And his cute wife will be a mother. They are having a baby finally.

He gently keep his palm on her stomach try to feel something which is obviously not possible now.

Aaruhi look up and smile beautifully finding him in tears. She place her hand over his on her stomach and softly brush her thumb on his knuckle.

“Our baby…" he whispered as he move his soft gaze at her. She chuckle and nodded her head.

“I am so ecstatic…” she murmured feeling her voice turn heavily with emotional and her eyes turn misty suddenly.

Softly removing his hand from her stomach, he cup her face and started kissing her face softly making her giggling and cry at the same time as blissful feeling that fills their hearts.

“My Ruhi, my little wife is a mother now…." He murmure placing a kiss on her nose. She make cute angry face but her eyes is shining with happiness.

He chuckle softly and place his lips on her. She close her eyes and slip her hand into his hair while other hand holding his neck as she kiss him back passionately.

They kiss each other with everything they had. Showing their longing, pain, happiness, love and contentment.

Pulling her closer, he suck her lower lip softly making her let out a breathy moan into his mouth.

After kissing each other till they turn breathless, finally they pull back but still holding each other possessively.

They smile wholeheartedly. She sigh and smile when he peck her lips few times.

“We should go home," she said in low voice, stroking his face with her fingers.

Letting a deep sigh, he nodded and place a loving kiss on her forehead before they pull back and fasten the seatbelts.

He started the car and pull out from the parking lot and drive it down on the road.

By the time they reached back home, Siya and Kritika come back from their work. Siya saw them coming inside with a big smile on their face which provide relief to her heart.

Aaruhi saw her and Kritika and smile widely before running to them almost giving a heart to Ryan to see her run away suddenly. His heart stop for a moment in fear.

“Ruhi, don't run!" He exclaim but she just hug Siya tightly and swing her side to side.

Kritika and Siya frown and chuckle at her act. Siya hug her back and pat her head lovingly.

"My Aaru is looking so happy, huh? What is it?” she said playfully.

Ryan smile and sat with them and keep the paper bag on the table which has Aaruhi's medicines.

Aaruhi pull back and grin at her. Then she hug Kritika who kiss her head softly smiling at her happy face.

“Our Aaruhi look so beautiful when she smile, di…"  Siya nodded as Kritika said this adoring her smiling face.

Ryan smile as he stare at his wife, looking so happy and joyful after so long.

“We have something to tell you all?" She said then look at Ryan who is smiling at her.

Siya and Kritika frown and look at them curiously.

"What??” Kritika ask.

Aaruhi pick her file from the table and give it to Siya.

"A little surprise…” she chirp excitedly.

Ryan chuckle at her child like excitement then realizes now she, herself, is carrying their child.

Siya open the file while Kritika is looking inside the file. As they saw a sonography picture, Kritika gasp and cover her mouth while Siya snap her head and look at Aaruhi with wide eyes.

“Really??" Siya asked her in shock while Kritika smile widely and hug Aaruhi from side.

Aaruhi nodded furiously grinning with happy tears in her eyes.

"Oh my god! I am a grandmother now…” as Kritika exclaim this happily, Aaruhi chuckle, wiping her tears.

Siya get emotional and hug Aaruhi.

“Finally!! I am so happy that I become speechless. Congratulations and thank you," she whispered into her hair.

Pulling back, she kiss her forehead and place her hand on her head blessing her for the new beginning.

While Kritika is smiling ear to ear, excited for the baby.

Siya shake her head at her sister in law while chuckling softly.

Then she turn to Ryan who has a peaceful and content smile on her face. She smile at her son and call him near her.

He walk to her and sat beside her and hug her. Closing his eyes, he feels her motherly warmth.

She smile widely, looking down at her son and pat his shoulder lovingly.

Aaruhi and Kritika watch them and adore their lovely bond.

“My bachcha is a father, huh?" She said softly caressing his hair and brush her fingers throught his silky hair.

He smile while hugging her.

"It's like few days back I saw you for the first time sitting quietly under a tress,” she whispered, remembering the time she first meet her little broken angel.

“Now see, that little is now a big boy and married and ready to welcome his own little version in the world," she chuckle softly at the end making Kritika chuckle while Aaruhi smile, feeling shy and happy.

Ryan look at her, breaking their hug and kiss her cheek softly.

“Thank you, Ma. If not for you and Dad, my life would never be this beautiful…" he emotionally said and kiss her palms.

"It's your destiny, Ryan. You deserve this beautiful life, bachcha. We are just a medium. And we are fortunate to be that medium. You are fated to all this,” she told him and softly cup his face and kiss his forehead.

She smile widely and chuckle,

“Congralution, father to be… Can't wait to see my little Aaru or little Ryan,"

"Mee to, di…I will be most beautiful grandmother and young too, don't you think Di?” Kritika said in amusement and smile brightly.

Everyone laugh at her world.

“Oh you are, darling Chachi.." Ryan said.

"Hain na!!” she chirp excitedly.

Aaruhi giggle while Siya lightly slap her head and laugh at her.

“Kriti, you will be grandmother not an aunt. Behave like a grandmother," Siya tease her.

Ryan and Aaruhi smiling wholeheartedly, seeing them teasing and sharing their excitement of being a grandmother.
