“It’s a baby girl!"

A happy tear slipped down his eyes and his lips curved into a big smile before he turned to his wife who was smiling weakly.

She looked at him softly. Leaning near her face, Ryan kisses her forehead softly and leans his forehead against her.

“Thank you so much, Ruhi. Thank you…" he murmured and kissed her forehead again.

Ryan sat straight when a nurse walked to them with their cry babygirl.

Ryan watches when the nurse opens the buttons of Aaruhi’s gown and places their baby on her chest for skin to skin.

Aaruhi smiles and cries in happiness, feeling the cotton soft body of her daughter and placing her hand on her little back and closing her eyes for a moment to memorize and cherish this beautiful moment in her mind.

Whereas Ryan's heart skips a few beats as he sees a cute little figure of his daughter snuggling into Aaruhi’s warmth.

He can't believe he is now a father of this cutest little fairy. She is looking so delicate and fragile with her pinkish face and eyes tightly closed. Her face is as round as a circle. He let out a soft chuckle when she poke her cute tiny tongue out and scrunch her face before again started crying, forming a little fists of her hand.

Forwarding his hand to touch her, his hand started trembling, feeling overwhelmed suddenly before he lightly placed his palm on the back of her head and stroked her little baby hair.

“My little angel…" he whispered softly gazing at the beautiful face of his daughter.

Aaruhi smiles brightly, looking at him.

“Ma’am, we need to check the baby…" they look up when one of the nurses comes to take the baby.

Ryan frowned in worry.

“Why? Is there any problem?" He asked her in a fearful tone.

Aaruhi smiles at his protectiveness.

"No sir, just a basic check up by our pediatrician,” he nodded and removed his hand from his baby girl's head.

Nurse carefully took the baby from Aaruhi’s chest and walked away. Ryan looks at Aaruhi and kisses her cheek and lightly strokes her hair.

“I am so proud of you, my tigress..." she chuckled softly and closed her eyes, feeling his fingers stroking her hair. And in no time, she dozed off due to weakness and exhaustion.

The next time Aaruhi opened her eyes, she was surrounded by their family. She smiles a little seeing everyone around Ryan, who is holding their baby girl wrapped in a blanket.

Siya and Ashika who were sitting beside her bed on chairs saw her and walked to her.

“Aaru…Mera bachcha. How are you feeling?" Ashika asked her softly. Siya caresses her hair lovingly.

She looks at them and gives them an assuring smile.

“I am fine, my cute mothers," she said in her sweet voice.

Seeing Aaruhi awake, everyone surrounded her and started asking her about her health and wished her and blessed her.

She gets emotional at their love but there is a big beautiful smile on her face.

Ryan looks at her and silently asks her about her to which she smiles and nodded slightly assuring him, she is okay.

“My little niece is so cute, Didu…" Aaravi asks happily, holding her tiny hand as Abhi is holding her in his arms.

“Why not. After all she is my niece," Aaravi frowned as Abhimanyu said with attitude and nudged his nose against her chubby cheeks.

“Oh hello, Mr…she is beautiful because of her Bua..right baby doll," she scoffed at her husband then cutely said looking at the sleeping baby.

“Mami!! It's Mami, Mrs. Agnihotri," he teased her.

Narrowing her eyes at her husband, she said,

"I am her Bua first then Mami,...” she told him.

Everyone smiles at their banter and shake their head.

"You two are crazy. Give her here and let Aaru and baby rest,” Ashika said to them and took the baby from Abhi making him and Aaravi pout.

Then she gave the baby to Ryan and everyone walked out.

“Ryan, we are going home, beta. I will send food for both of you, okay … " Ryan nodded at her mother.

Patting Aaruhi’s head lovingly, she also went out.

As the door gets closed, Ryan turns to wife with a happy smile and walks to her with his little fairy, secured in his warm embrace.

Aaruhi felt her heart filled seeing him holding their baby so gently. And smile as she can feel the fatherly lovingly and protective in his eyes for their baby.

Don't know if she is imagining but she is feeling different seeing him with their baby. She is now seeing him not only as her love but also as the father of their baby. The gentleness in his eyes is different and beautiful. She can't help but again fall hard in love with this version of him. This is beautiful.

She comes out of her thinking zone when Ryan kisses her head.

“I want to hold her," she said to him while lovingly gazing at the baby girl who is sleeping soundly in his father’s arms.

Ryan gently places his little lifeline in her arms before sitting beside her and smiling seeing his two precious humans.

As she saw the cute face of her baby, tears formed in her and an affectionate smile curve on her trembling lips.

Placing a gentle kiss on her baby’s forehead, she turns to her husband and smiles widely in pure joy.

Ryan lightly shakes his head seeing her tears and wipe them with his thumb.

“Don't cry, Ruhi. Our baby will not like seeing her Mumma crying which is her job now. Don't take away her job, love…" he playfully said, earning a soft chuckle from her.

"Seriously, dear husband ..” she said while smiling and then looked at her baby with her full of love and adoration.

“She is so beautiful…" She murmure while admiring her daughter.

"Why not she when her Mumma is so so beautiful,...” whispered Ryan, holding his daughter's tiny hand and caressing it with his thumb.

Aaruhi bites her lips hiding her shy smile, feeling her cheeks turning red.

“Stop flirting in front of our baby," she said to Ryan, looking at her.

"I will even kiss you in front of our baby. And it's true, not flirting, right babygirl?” Aaruhi giggles when Ryan asks their daughter in a cute baby voice.

They stop talking when the baby starts moving and squirming, making cute frowning faces and making baby sounds. She twists her tiny body before letting out a loud cry, fisting her tiny hand tightly.

Ryan looks at her with a startle then turns to Aaruhi who is frowning at her sudden crying.

“What happened to my baby?" Aaruhi murmure while gently rocking her in her arms.

At the same time, a nurse comes inside.

"She must be hungry, dear? Feed her first then I have to check you,” the nurse told her and came near her to help in breastfeeding the baby.

Aaruhi sighs softly and smiles, looking down at her baby who is trying to suck milk desperately moving her tiny lips on her nipple.

Ryan smiles softly at them.

After feeding the baby, Ryan took the baby and tried to burp the baby as instructed by the nurse. Aaruhi grins seeing him holding her with her little head on his shoulder and his hand softly patting her back. He is so gentle and careful with her that it warms her heart.

“Are you feeling any pain?" Aaruhi turned to the nurse who was changing the drip solution.

“Not pain but little discomfort in my lower body," The nurse nodded and wrote in her notepad.

"It's normal and will go away in a few days," she told her to which Aaruhi nodded and gave her a polite smile.

Ryan listened to them and shifted his daughter in his arms as she burped  and began closing her eyes feeling sleepy.

“I hope it not a serious issue?" he asked the nurse with a worried expression.

"No sir, it is not. She will be fine in a few days…” he nodded, then looked at Aaruhi with a soft worried look.

The nurse left the room after checking her up.

Ryan sat beside her after placing the sleeping baby in her crib beside the bed.

Aaruhi smiles at him and takes his hand, she kisses the back of his hand making Ryan's heart filled with bliss.

“I am feeling my heart fulfilled…" she said, looking into his eyes with softness.

He just smiles seeing the happiness radiating from her eyes and smiles.

Cupping her face softly, he leaned towards her and kissed her lips gently.

“I know, Ruhi. Our little princess filled our heart and life with her presence," he whispered after pulling back from the kiss and kissed her forehead.

They close their eyes for a moment, relishing the moment.

Next day

Ryan looks startled when the room door opens with slam, making his sweet baby flowers nch badly. He glared at his brother who were pushing each other aside while coming inside.

“I will hold her first. I am older, okay!" Kris glared at his twin.

"That’s why I will hold my baby first becoz I am younger, dear brother,” he said stubbornly.

“Arey why are you fighting??" Aaruhi who is having her breakfast ask looking at them

"Bhabhi, he is fighting with me,” Kris complained to Aaruhi then when their eyes fell on the little human in Ryan’s arms.

Their eyes twinkle in happiness and excitement. They run to him like kids and look at the baby with amusement and adoration.

“Shit! She is so pretty and cute…" Kris exclaimed, looking at the cute little human and smiled at her.

But suddenly he earned a smack from his twin, making him look at him with an annoyed face.

“Don’t curse in front of her idiot…" Kabir told him before turning to the baby and smiled sweetly.

Ryan shakes his head with fake disappointment while Aaruhi smiles, looking at them.

“Hey! Baby, I am your Chachu…You are so cute, my little flower," Kabir lovingly whispered, looking at her with affection and brushing her cheek with his fingers. She cutely blink her eyes staring at him

“Bhai, give her to me…" Kris gasped at him and shook his head.

"No, bhai! First I will hold her. After all, I will be her best Chachu and best friend, right sweetheart?” Baby turns her gaze at him and stares at him like she did with Kabir.

“No Bhai! I am her older Chachu, right?" Ryan frowns looking at them fighting like kids and looks between them.

"Shut up, both of you! Are you both kids, huh?” Ryan sternly said in a whispered yell making them shut and look at him innocently.

Ryan looks at his daughter and his eyes soften before looking at his brother and sigh, seeing them, looking at her with a sad face.

“First Kabir-"

"Bhaaiii!!!” Kris whines but instantly stops when he looks at him with his hard eyes.

“Fine!!" He said with huff and saw Kabir grinning before taking the baby in his arms carefully.

"Is she made of cotton? She is so soft and small. My little baby…” Kabir said in aww before looking at her with a big bright smile.

Ryan and Aaruhi smile softly and watch how Kabir is talking to her in a baby voice.

Standing beside his twin, Kris also smiles and makes a cute funny face looking at the baby who is just staring at them with her big doe eyes.

“We are home, Baby…" Aaruhi sweetly said to her daughter as the car stopped in front of the Roy mansion.

Kabir and Kris come out of the car and open the door Ryan and Aaruhi who were in back seat.

Kris took the baby from Aaruhi while Ryan comes out first to help Aaruhi get down.

Holding Aaruhi’s waist Ryan helped her in walking. Kris walked slowly with Baby in his arms, looking funny. Kabir laughs at his brother while Aaruhi giggles seeing him walking slower then her.

“Kris, it’s Ruhi who gave birth not you, stupid," Ryan said with a roll of his eyes making both Kabir and Aaruhi laugh.

“Bhai, I am being careful…" he said and scoffed, seeing them laughing.

They reached the entrance and everyone present there to welcome the new member of the family.

“Where is Baby, Mumma!??"  Aaruhi heard Abheer asking Aaravi while jumping in his place.

“Here is your baby sis, Champ!" Kris said, showing the baby in his arms, making Abheer blink his eyes and squeal in happiness.

"Mumma!! My baby sister!!" He told her in excitement making everyone chuckle at his happiness.

"Give her to me, Mamu…” He said as he run to Kris and looked at him holding his hand out.

"Abheer, let them come inside first, baby..” Abhimanyu said, standing beside Aaravi.

He pouts slightly and pulls his hands back but stands beside Kris closer to his baby sister.

Pallavi comes with Aarti to welcome them inside. Kris gives the baby to Aaruhi making Abheer run to his Bua and stand beside her while grinning at her. Aaruhi smiles at him.

Pallavi did her and baby’s Aarti. Then put a tikka on their forehead and shower some flower petals on them.

“Welcome home, Meri Nanhi Pari… " Pallavi softly caresses the baby’s cheek, making her move in her sleep.

“Come inside, bachcha…" She gave way to Aaruhi and Ryan to walk inside.

As Aaruhi settles on the sofa with the baby, Abheer lightly tug her suit making her look at him.

“Give my sister, Bua…" he said looking at the baby with a big smile.

Ryan chuckled at him and sat beside him and kissed his head.

“Abheer, bachcha, she will wake up. Don't trouble Bua and Baby," Aaravi softly said. Abheer's smile fell and he looked down in sadness.

“It's okay, Doll. She is his little sister," Ryan said and Aaruhi nodded at her husband.

"Okay cross your legs, so that you can hold your baby sister,” Aaruhi told him, making him instantly sit properly on the sofa with cross leg and smile widely.

As soon as he saw her tiny round face with a red glow, he giggled happily and placed his little palms in her fluffy chubby cheeks.

“She is like a fairy…" he said, looking at his baby sister with love in the eyes and gently caressing his palm on her cheek.

He gasps in surprise when she squeezes her eyes and frowns cutely with a tiny pout. She moved a little before going back to sleep again.

“She is moving…" he whispered in shock and looked up at Aaruhi who laughed at his expression and kissed his cheek lovingly.

Aaravi chuckled at his son’s expression while others just smiled watching them.

After spending some time with everyone, Agnihotri went back while Ryan and Aaruhi along with the baby went back to their room to rest.

Ryan came out of the room taking a shower and saw Aaruhi breastfeeding the baby, sitting against the headboard.

Feeling his gaze, Aaruhi looks up and blush under his gaze. She saw him coming near her before sitting in front of her.

He notices her red cheeks and smiles at her.

“You know, you look so beautiful while feeding our baby. This sight just warms my heart. It's so Divine," he whispered looking into her eyes and leaning near her face before placing his lips on his forehead.

A beautiful smile formed on her at his words.

He pulls and kisses their daughter’s head who is engrossed in having her food.

Aaruhi saw him adoring their babygirl with a smile on his face. She also gazes down at her daughter and smiles brightly watching their daughter.

After filling her tummy, the baby moves away and looks up at her mother with her twinkling cute eyes.

“Is my baby full now?" Aaruhi asks her lovingly and lightly taps her nose.

Ryan and she chuckle when she cutely scrunch her nose.

“Now come to Daddy, princess. Dadda will burp his little heart," he said and picked her from Aaruhi’s lap.

Holding her in his arms, he started rubbing her back to get her burp. Aaruhi fixes her top and gets down from the bed to freshen up.

“You need something?" He asked her, seeing her standing holding the bed headboard.

"No, I just need to take a shower. I am smelling like medicines" she told him.

"Then wait for a few minutes, I will help you. You shouldn’t move around too much,” He said and stopped rubbing his daughter’s back as she let out a burp.

“I will be fine-" Ryan gives her a stern look and asks her to sit back on the bed with a sigh.

Soon their little baby fell asleep. Placing her in the middle of the bed, Ryan arranges the pillows on her side.

Turning to Aaruhi, he lifts her in his arms making her gasp at his sudden action.

He walked inside the washroom and closed the door without locking it.

After taking a relaxing warm bath, Aaruhi looks at him in the mirror as he is drying her hair with a dryer.

“I have gained quite a lot of weight, haina na," he stopped for a moment and looked at her in the mirror. Aaruhi looks at herself, that once slim girl is now into a chubby woman.

Ryan take a glance at her figure and resume drying her hair and said,

“You are looking more beautiful like this. With these cute chubby cheeks and your dimple chin. I swear it has my heart, love. Thanks to your weight, I can see it. I love it the most, well after your lips," Aaruhi giggled and tilted her head to look up at him.

“Oh my heart!! You are looking just like our angel…super cute," he said dramatically, placing his palm on his heart.

Placing the dryer on the table, he pecks her lips then kisses her chin dimple lovingly. Her lips curved into a big smile.

“You know how to play with words, husband,"  she said, giving him an impressed look.

"Well when I have such a gorgeous wife, I can't help, Meri Jaan," he said and kissed her head softly.

She admired him with a smile as he was brushing her hair.

“My princess’s Mumma is ready!" He exclaimed happily after braiding her hair nicely.

Giggling at his act, Aaruhi looked at her braid.

“Now you rest like a good wife..." saying he picked her in bridal style and took her to their bed and laid her beside their baby.

"Where are you going?” She asked, holding his hand as he was about to walk away.

"Dad called me in the study room. I will be back after talking to him,” she let go of his hand, nodding at him.

She rests for a few hours and then both of them have their dinner in the room only. Their baby is a very calm baby. She didn't trouble them much and only cried when she was hungry and after filling her stomach she went back to her beauty sleep.

Few days later

“Aww, my little angel is looking so beautiful. Bua love you, Mera bachcha," Aaravi said, looking at her niece and kissing her chubby cheeks.

Aaruhi smiles while wearing a saree. She is getting ready for her daughter’s naming ceremony. Today her baby will get a name.

Aaruhi saw Ryan coming inside with Abheer in his arms.

“If you are ready, then let’s go down. Everyone is asking about you and baby," he said looking at his wife then looking at his baby who is moving her legs and arms around while making cute baby sounds.

“We were just coming. Let’s go…" giving one last to herself in the mirror, Aaruhi walked to her husband.

Aaravi picks the baby in her arms before they all walk out. Ryan has his hand on her back making Aaruhi look at him with a small smile.

Ryan saw Aaravi walking two steps ahead of them and again look at his wife and whispered in her,

“You are looking amazing, Jaan…" she bites her lips and looks away hiding her blushing face.

“Yes Bua, you are looking pretty…" Abheer said after Ryan, nodding his head with a cute smile.

Aaruhi looks at him with a surprised expression before glaring at her husband for saying this in front of a kid. Ryan just chuckle and kiss Abheer’s cheek lovingly.

They heard Aaravi giggling and giving teasing looks to her and her Bhai.

As they reached downstairs, their family instantly surrounded the Aaravi for the baby. While Ryan and Aaruhi went to take blessings from their grandparents.

They bless them with lots of love and a happy future ahead.

Aaravi and Ryan watch their family playing with their little baby. They little when Abhimanyu took the baby and walk away from twins(Including Chauhan twins that is Vihaan and Amaira)

“Bhai, please give her to me. I haven't even met her yet," Amaira whined like kids.

"Yes Bhai, you already hold her in the hospital,” Vihaan said.

“Go have your own, both of you and let me spend some time with my little niece,…" Abhimanyu told him, making Vihaan and Amaira face turn red and cuddle his little niece to his heart.

Vihaan stood up angrily and said,

"And I won't let you touch my baby, I am telling you, Bhai…” Abhimanyu just ignored him.

“Ishaan, I want a baby…" Amaira to her husband, making his eyes wide at her shamelessness.

Aaravi covered her mouth to stop herself from laughing when Ishaan started coughing and flew away making an excuse to get water for himself.

“Crazy Girl…" Ryan chuckled as Aaruhi whispered this while shaking her head lightly.

Soon the ceremony starts, Ryan and Aaruhi are sitting with their baby in Aaruhi's lap. Priest starts the ritual.

Everyone sat back and watched them with a happy smile on their face.

“Who is going to name the Baby?" The priest asked them.

They look at each other before Ryan said,

"My sister, Aaravi…”

Aaravi was surprised and tears of happiness formed in her eyes. Abhimanyu lightly rubs her arm and smiles at her.

“Please call her here…" Aaruhi looks at her and calls her silently with her eyes.

Abhimanyu nodded and blinked his eyes and patted her hand softly.

Aaravi walks to the newly become parent.

The priest asked her to whisper the name in the baby's ear before writing it down on the place with kumkum.

She thought for a moment before bent to the baby’s level who is peacefully playing with herself. She whispered the name into her ear making the baby squirm in her mother's lap.

Aaravi kisses her forehead after whispering the name into her ear.

Aaruhi looks at the plate where Aaravi is writing the name. And her eyes widened in surprise as she read the name. She looks at Aaravi who is looking at her and grins.

“Sorry Didu but I read the page of your diary where you mentioned this name. I swear I didn't read anything else and give it to Bhai," She sheepishly told her. Aaruhi gave her playful narrow eyes and lightly hit her head.

"Very good I guess, huh?” she said, taunting her.

Aaravi and Ryan laugh at her.

“Avi, tell us the name now…" Vihaan said impatiently.

"So we will call our little bundle of happiness by….”

Aaruhi smiles with happy tears waiting for her to say the name loudly while looking at the baby who is staring at her with her cute innocent eyes.

“... Riyanshi. Riyanshi Roy. It means ‘cheerful’. It also means ‘Goddess of beauty’ and ‘Queen’. Our little queen…" Aaravi said with a love filled voice while looking at her niece with adoration. She leaned down at her level and kissed her head.

“My Riyanshi…" Aaruhi whispered the name of her daughter for the first time and felt warmth in her heart.

Ryan's heart filled with love and bliss hearing the beautiful name. He kisses her tiny foot before touching it against his chest, where he has his heart.

Everyone smiles in happiness, loving the name.
