Zhuang Ning’s voice turned icy as she said, “She’s dead.”

Ye Cheng was stunned. Then, he softly said, “I’m sorry.”

“How do you plan to save them?” Zhuang Ning asked as she cut up the sausage on her plate into small pieces before putting a piece in her mouth.

Ye Cheng shook his head. “I don’t know.”

Ye Cheng was truly exhausted. Zhuang Ning bluntly said, “There are many kinds of families. Legends have it that some people are families because of predestined relationships from their past lives. It’s also said that some people are families to repay debts from their past lives. To me, it sounds like you have to repay the debts you owed your mother and your sister in your past lives.”
