Chapter Nineteen

The Tutors

ROXIE

The toaster oven chimed, and I moved the toast onto a plate, adding it to the breakfast spread on the table.

I’d cooked up a feast of eggs, turkey bacon, pancakes, toast, and home fries.

I gave myself a mental pat on the back for pulling it off.

I’d had to sneak out of bed at six in the morning to avoid waking Kai or Nari. If either of them had stirred, it would have been a repeat of Friday.

So, I’d left a pair of shorts and a tank top in the kitchen last night while they were distracted.

That way, I wouldn’t have to get dressed in the room and risk getting distracted if one of them woke up. I was determined to do this for them.

I knew it had evolved beyond just sex, but I couldn’t let it become love. I just couldn’t.

Kai’s surprise was meant to be a naked dinner with butt plugs he could tug on while being served.

The butt plugs were my idea, but they turned the dinner into a sex marathon before we could even touch the food. I guess I was partly to blame.

After Nari was dressed in her apricot and pink tail, I couldn’t keep my hands off her.

The surprise for Kai was Nari’s idea. But this breakfast was all me. Ever since they’d been around, the house hadn’t felt so empty and lonely.

I felt like I needed to show them some appreciation. What better way than to end our weekend with a hearty breakfast and then sex until they had to leave.

My parents were due back tomorrow morning, and I knew we wouldn’t get this much alone time again.

It wouldn’t be until my parents jetted off to their next destination, which I was sure wasn’t too far off.

Kai and Nari had real parents who cared about their kids and what they did, so I knew staying at their place wouldn’t be an option.

I considered going back upstairs to crawl back into bed with them. I knew they would miss our sleepovers. How could I spend the night with them at their parents’ house?

I was sure their parents wouldn’t approve of what we were doing, and I couldn’t have them here when my mother was constantly trying to play best friends, even though she barely knew me.

No one would understand what we were doing, and we couldn’t tell anyone.

I was so deep in thought that I didn’t hear Nari walk in. I felt her arms wrap around me from behind and her lips on my neck. The scent of her strawberry body oil filled my nostrils.

“You made us breakfast,” she said excitedly, squeezing me tight and leaving open-mouthed kisses on my neck.

She was wearing my silk robe, and I could feel her hard nipples against my back as she held me.

“I did. Now let me go, Nari. Food first, then sex,” I said, trying to wriggle free from her.

She spun me around and pulled me close. Before I could react, she had one hand on my ass and the other on my chin as she leaned in and ran her tongue over my bottom lip.

I opened my mouth to let her in, but then she pulled back.

“You’re the one who said food then sex,” Nari said, smirking as she let me go and took a seat at the table. She let the robe slip off one of her shoulders, exposing her breast, the fabric stopping just before her nipple.

“I know what you’re doing and it won’t work. We’re all having breakfast together,” I said, smiling and rolling my eyes as I grabbed my phone to text Kai.

Roxie

There’s breakfast and pussy at the table. Hungry?

Kai

Starving for both. Brushing my teeth and I’ll be right down.

“Breakfast and pussy? Very funny,” Nari said, rolling her eyes.

“You’re the one who came down here naked trying to distract me,” I said.

“I could cover up more,” she said, locking eyes with me as she bit her lip. Why did it always turn me on when she did that? Every time she did it, my pussy got wet.

“Please don’t,” Kai answered for me as he walked into the kitchen. He gave both of us a quick kiss before taking a seat. “So what’s the occasion?” he asked as he started filling his plate, and Nari and I did the same.

“Well, my parents are coming home so I don’t know when we’ll be waking up together again,” I said, forcing a smile because I didn’t want to dampen the mood.

“You could stay at mine with us,” Kai suggested as he continued to eat.

“Kai, I’m not going to stay at your house with the three of us. You two have been dating for years, your parents will think I’m a tramp,” I said, immediately shooting down his crazy idea.

He didn’t respond because he knew I was right, but he didn’t look happy about it.

“You could stay at mine some nights just the two of us. My parents won’t think anything of it. Just two girls hanging out,” Nari suggested, trying to help. Kai looked even more upset.

“How long will your parents be home?” he asked, sounding frustrated.

“Probably two weeks max, I bet.”

“You know, my parents or anyone else wouldn’t think you’re a tramp if you were our girlfriend, Roxie.

“I wouldn’t even give a fuck what they thought if you were our girlfriend,” Kai said, looking between Nari and me.

I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. This was not the direction I wanted breakfast to go in, and I was struggling to figure out how we’d ended up here.

I just wanted today to be special until we could all be together again.

“If I’m being honest, Kai, I’m not ready to have that conversation. Labeling this is a big step. As for sleepovers the next couple of weeks, can I let you guys know?” I said, hoping it would be enough.

Kai rose from his seat, not uttering a single word, and made his way out the back door. I was tempted to call out to him, to stop him, but I held back, thinking it best to give him some space to cool down. At least he hadn’t stormed out the front door.

“He just needs a moment, Roxie,” Nari said, her voice gentle. “I get it. We’re still in the early stages of...whatever this is. I think Kai just got a little carried away.”

“I don’t want you to feel like you’re being pushed into anything. We both knew what we were getting into when we started this,” she added, reaching over to intertwine our fingers.

I offered her a small smile in response, but didn’t say anything. I couldn’t be mad at Kai for wanting more. The bond between us had started to deepen the moment we all came together.

I felt it, he felt it, and I was certain Nari felt it too. That bond had drawn us all in faster than any of us could have anticipated. But my situation at home remained the same.

I despised it here. I was still planning on leaving town... but maybe they might want to join me.
