Aaradhya's pov

I woke up and found myself in a different world. I blinked twice and thought.

"Sleep again Aaradhya you are dreaming" I lay back down but then I heard someone's laughter and opened my eyes again.

It wasn’t a dream. It was real.

I looked around and saw Aarav ji standing there with a flower bouquet in his hand. The entire room was filled with balloons and flowers. There wasn’t a single empty space left.

“Good morning wifey” Aarav ji said walking towards me.

I sat up straight as he handed me the bouquet. I was so shocked that I couldn’t say anything.

“What is this?” my voice came out in a whisper.

“It’s just your husband trying to gain your forgiveness” he said with a smile.

I looked at him. No one had ever given me this much importance and here he was doing all of this for me. I didn’t show my emotions just gave him a small smile.

“It’s beautiful” I said admiring the bouquet.

“Actually I wanted to ask if you would like to go on a dinner date with me. Please?” he asked looking directly into my eyes.

He was giving me yet another shock this morning. His hopeful gaze was fixed on me.

“Why not?” I replied and his eyes lit up.

“Thank you so much for your precious permission. I’ll pick you up after work. I have a very important meeting now so I’ll be going. Bye” he said turning to leave.

I stopped him. “Wait!”

I stood up and walked toward him. “How is your hand?” I asked looking at it.

“It’s more than fine” he said with a smile. I nodded and he left.

I looked around the room again unable to hold back my excitement and started jumping on the balloons. Believe me the room looked so dreamy that I can’t even describe it.

"If he keeps doing things like this I’ll surely fall for him" I thought to myself.

My small very small crush on him might turn into something bigger. But I am loving all this princess treatment. I am receiving it for the first time.

I took my phone and clicked lots of pictures of the room. "I’ll show this to Maa. She’ll be happy to know her son is really changing" I thought.

I carefully placed the bouquet on the desk and freshened up. After getting dressed I looked at the room one last time before heading downstairs.

I was feeling so happy today. My life seemed to be changing for the better.

I saw Maa talking on the phone. Smiling I went behind her and hugged her.

She startled at first but then smiled when she saw me.

“I’ll talk to you later” Maa said into the phone and hung up.

“Lagta hai aaj bahut khushi ka din hai. Pehle bete ne hug kiya ab beti ne” Maa said and I understood her teasing tone.

I told her everything that had happened the room the decorations everything. She listened with a pure smile on her face.

“He is really changing. I’m happy for both of you” she said kissing my forehead.

“Can I ask you something? Not as Aarav’s mother but as your friend?” she asked a hint of nervousness in her voice.

“Aap bas hukum karo Maa” I replied smiling at her.

“Would you give this marriage a chance after he fixes everything?” she asked cautiously as though afraid of my answer.

I could sense the fear in her eyes maybe the fear of losing me.

“I’ll give this marriage a chance Maa” I said softly.

Her face lit up as she jumped in joy.

“Thank you thank you for giving this marriage a chance!” she exclaimed and hugged me tightly.

“Kya chal raha hai yaha?” Chachi asked walking into the kitchen.

Maa excitedly told her about Aarav ji decorating the room for me.

“Awww so sweet of him. Aur ek humare budhe husband hain!” Chachi said rolling her eyes and I couldn’t help but laugh.

Aarav’s POV

Finally I secured the deal. A sense of satisfaction filled me as I walked into my cabin and sank into my chair.

Loosening my tie I leaned back letting the weight of the day ease off. My mind wandered back to the morning and a faint smile tugged at my lips.

I could still picture Aaradhya’s expression the way her face lit up when she saw the room I had decorated.

I had woken up early meticulously arranging everything myself. Every detail mattered because I wanted her mornings to be special always.

A thought nagged at me. This feeling I have for her… what is it? I’m not entirely sure but I know it’s something deep, something real. When I see her smile it’s like the chaos inside me calms down. Her happiness feels like my own. Just the thought of her is enough to bring a smile to my face.

I shook my head and straightened in my seat trying to focus. But it was impossible to ignore the growing warmth in my chest.

Tonight I’ve planned a dinner for the two of us. She’ll need to get used to this because it’s just the beginning.

I’m going to do everything I can to make her feel loved and cherished. This marriage deserves a real chance and I’m ready to give it my all.

Maa’s words echoed in my mind “You won’t find anyone like Aaradhya.” She was right. I didn’t realize it before but now I do. Aaradhya is different she’s special.

“I’ll fix everything Aaradhya” I whispered to myself a quiet promise that I intended to keep.

Straightening my posture I focused on the files in front of me. There was work to do and I needed to finish it in time for tonight.

Aaradhya's POV

I was sitting in my room after finishing lunch when I heard a knock on the door. Curious I got up and opened it finding a sad-looking Riya standing there.

“Can I come in bhabhi?” she asked softly which was completely unlike her usual bubbly and cheerful self.

“Why not princess?” I said stepping aside to let her in. She walked in slowly. I sat on the bed and she lay down on my lap without a word. Her silence was unusual and I began gently caressing her head.

“Bhai is changing for you bhabhi” she said with a small smile breaking the silence.

I nodded returning her smile. “Yes he is.”

“What happened to you? Tell me honestly” I asked concerned. She looked up at me hesitantly.

“I’m not sure about it but I’m going to tell you. Promise me you won’t tell this to anyone” she said seriously.

“I promise. I won’t tell anyone” I assured her. She sat up properly and took a deep breath before speaking.

“Actually I’ve loved Jay for the past three years. When he used to stay here I didn’t realize it but after he left for America I understood that I had feelings for him. I’m damn sure I’m in love with him but the problem is I don’t know if he loves me back or not” she confessed in one breath her expression shifting from excitement to sadness.

I smiled certain they both had feelings for each other. “You should tell him your feelings” I suggested.

“No I won’t! He should propose to me if he has feelings for me. I’m a girl I won’t get down on my knees” she said dramatically flipping her hair.

I couldn’t help but laugh at her over-the-top behavior. “Then I have a plan” I said leaning closer to her.

“Tell me tell me! What is it?” she asked impatiently, her eyes wide with curiosity.

“Make him jealous. Maybe then he’ll propose to you out of jealousy” I said watching her face light up with excitement before she grew thoughtful again.

“What if he doesn’t even have feelings for me? Phir to mera popat ban jayega” she said her expression turning serious.

I burst into laughter. “Bhabhi you’re laughing at such a serious situation!” she said with a pout and I playfully pinched her cheeks.

“What if I tell you he also has feelings for you?” I teased.

“Did he tell you?” she asked eagerly her eyes sparkling with hope.

I shrugged. “First make him as jealous as you can. Then you’ll see the magic” I said with a wink.

Her excitement returned in full force. “But how can I make him jealous?” she asked tilting her head as we both started thinking.

Suddenly she shouted “Idea!” and explained her plan to me.

“Isn’t that too much?” I asked raising an eyebrow.

“No bhabhi it’s perfect! Now wait and watch. I’ll make him confess his feelings for me. And if he doesn’t have any I’ll make sure he gets some because I’m not going to leave him!” she declared standing on the bed with determination.

I laughed at her antics. “Thank you so much bhabhi for the idea! I love you so much” she said kissing my cheek before rushing out of the room.

I shook my head smiling to myself. Finally they’re going to be one. They’re perfect for each other. She’s crazy and he’s calm. They’ll be the perfect match.

At Evening

I was getting ready for tonight’s dinner feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. I wore the beautiful white saree Aarav Ji had sent me.

It was full of intricate embroidery, paired with red bangles that added a touch of tradition. His choice was impeccable and I couldn’t help but admire his taste.

I gave myself one last look in the mirror, adjusting my hair slightly before stepping out of the room. But the moment I did, my breath hitched.

There he stood, Aarav Ji in all his glory. His presence exuded confidence and he looked so handsome that my cheeks heated up. Ahh, why am I feeling hot now?

“You’re looking breathtaking wifey” he said walking toward me his eyes fixed on mine.

I looked down shyly my cheeks now undoubtedly crimson.

“Shall we go?” he asked and I nodded. Together we walked downstairs.

“Ohh my God! Ye apsara yaha dharti par kya kar rahi hai?” Darsh’s voice broke the silence and I couldn’t help but laugh softly at his antics.

“Maa mujhe bhi aisi wife chahiye” Raj complained to Chachi making everyone laugh.

“Mera baccha bahut pyari lag rahi ho” Maa said lovingly, kissing my forehead.

Chachi then waved her hands around me to ward off evil eyes murmuring something protective.

Papa stepped forward holding a bundle of notes and circled it around me.

“Kisi ki nazar na lage meri gudiya ko” he said warmly. My heart swelled with gratitude. No one had ever made me feel this special before.

“Chale late ho raha hai” Aarav Ji reminded everyone and I nodded.

“Meri behen ka khayal rakhna” Jay said his tone serious and I smiled at his care.

“Ok sir” Aarav Ji replied dramatically making everyone chuckle as we headed out to the car.

he started driving and the silence between us felt comfortable. But he was the first to break it.

“Did you like the saree?” he asked his eyes glancing at me briefly.

“I love it” I said looking down at the saree again admiring its beauty.

“Kash ye words mere liye hote” he murmured softly but I couldn’t catch it entirely.

“Ji kuch kaha aapne?” I asked turning to him.

“Nothing” he replied with a smile and focused back on the road.

After some time we arrived at our destination. He came around to open the door for me his actions making my heart race. Why am I feeling so special tonight?

I stepped out and froze in place.

The sight before me was magical—a serene lake surrounded by mountains, and behind them, the moon shone brightly in the sky.

A small beautifully decorated table was set up nearby. The ambiance felt unreal like stepping into a dream.

“It’s so beautiful” I whispered unable to take my eyes off the view.

“Not more than you” he said his words pulling me back to him. My heart fluttered and I regretted applying blush because his words worked better than any makeup.

“Pasand aaya?” he asked pulling out a chair for me.

“Bahut jiyada” I replied excitedly as I sat down.

“How did you find this place?” I asked curiously.

“This place belongs to us wifey” he said leaving me speechless. Of course he’s Aarav Yaduvanshi.

“Are you comfortable?” he asked his tone gentle and caring.

A smile spread across my face. “Yes I am” I replied softly.

“We should know each other better” he said. “You can tell me anything about yourself and ask me anything about me.”

I didn’t want him to feel awkward so I nodded with a small smile.

“Are you genuinely sorry about your behavior?” I asked looking directly into his eyes. I knew he was but I wanted to hear it from him.

“I’ll not answer this question, but I’ll show you through my actions” he said, his sincerity evident. He was right his actions already said more than words ever could.

“May I ask you something?” he asked hesitantly.

I nodded. “Of course.”

“Did you have any boyfriend or someone you loved before our marriage? I mean we weren’t the ones supposed to get married that day, so… you get what I’m saying” he said, stumbling over his words.

I smiled at his nervousness. “I never believed in those things nor did my parents allow me. I always believed in God’s plan whatever He gives I’ll accept it with my whole heart” I said glancing at him. His expression froze for a moment and I smiled internally at the effect my words had on him.

“Glad to know this” he whispered but I caught it and smiled shyly.

“What do you want to eat?” he asked.

“Anything is fine for me” I replied.

He ordered through his phone and after some time the waitress arrived with the food. She placed the dishes on the table and left. Aarav Ji served me first and then himself, his actions so thoughtful and gentlemanly that it warmed my heart.

I started eating unable to hide the growing admiration I felt for him.

Aarav’s POV

I watched her as she ate her food a satisfied smile spreading across her face.

“Did you like the food?” I asked.

She looked up her cheeks puffed with food and nodded enthusiastically giving me one of her heartwarming smiles.

She looked like an angel tonight. I had commissioned the best designer in the country to make this saree for her and it turned out amazing. But it wasn’t the saree it was her wearing it that made it breathtaking.

A wave of relief washed over me when I realized she had never loved anyone before. This relationship was new for both of us and I silently vowed to ensure I would be her first and last love. The thought made me smile as I continued to admire her.

We finished our food and started heading back home.

“Stop! Stop!” she suddenly exclaimed.

I immediately hit the brakes worry gripping me. “Are you okay? What happened?” I asked anxiously.

“I’m fine” she said softly pointing toward an ice cream stall. “I just want to eat this.”

I blinked in surprise. “We can get it from a restaurant. Let’s go if you want” I offered starting the car again.

But she shook her head her lips forming a small pout. “No I want this one only.”

Control yourself Aarav, I thought suppressing a smile at her innocence.

“Okay you sit here. I’ll get it for you” I said stepping out of the car.

“Butterscotch flavor” she called after me and I nodded walking toward the stall.

She was unlike anyone I’d ever met. Most people in her position would ask for something extravagant, but she wanted a simple street-side ice cream.

“Here you go” I said handing her the cone.

She took it happily. “Thank you so much!” she said immediately licking the ice cream with a childlike excitement.

I quickly averted my gaze. Focus Aarav.

“It’s so tasty” she said her face glowing with joy. I couldn’t help but smile at her.

“Try it” she suddenly said extending the cone toward me. But then as if realizing something, she hesitated and pulled her hand back.

Without thinking I gently held her hand and brought the cone closer. I leaned forward and licked the ice cream. Her cheeks turned a deep shade of red making her look even more adorable.

“It’s tasty” I said pretending to be casual, though I was smiling inside.

“I told you!” she replied softly her shy smile making my heart skip a beat. She continued eating her ice cream her cheeks still pink.

The ice cream was delicious but maybe it tasted better because she was the one eating it. The thought made me smile like a silly teenager in love.

We reached home to find the house quiet everyone had probably gone to bed. We went to our room changed into our nightwear and lay down on the bed.

“Thank you so much for today It was really great” she said looking at me with genuine gratitude.

“I’m glad you liked it” I replied pulling the blanket over myself.

“Good night” I said.

“Good night” she replied softly her voice filled with warmth.

“It was the best day of my life.” i thought.

I smiled as she closed her eyes and for the first time in a while, I fell asleep with a pure, contented smile on my face.

Aaradhya’s POV

I buried my face in the pillow my cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Why did I offer him the ice cream? I thought replaying the moment in my head. I hadn’t expected him to eat it! The memory made my cheeks heat up again.

“Ahh sleep Aaradhya!” I scolded myself shaking my head.

Even though I was flustered I couldn’t help but smile. Tonight had been magical and my heart felt light as I drifted off into my dreams.
