Aaradhya's pov

I crossed my arms and said with a dramatic pout "I want a proper confession from you. If you don’t propose to me in a dreamy style then I’m not sure about my feelings."

Aarav ji laughed, his eyes shining with amusement, before pulling me into a warm hug. "I’ll make sure my confession is as dreamy as you want" he promised softly.

I hugged him back, a smile tugging at my lips.

“Shall we go ma’am?” Arjun’s voice interrupted us from outside the car.

We nodded and Aarav ji held my hand, his grip firm and protective. The car started moving and I couldn’t help but notice the small, content smile on both our faces.

I rested my head against the seat my mind drifting back to earlier today.

I was coming back from college when I saw Aarav ji on the accident spot. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was him but when I noticed the sea of guards surrounding him, I knew it was. He thought I was the one who had met with the accident.

He was crying so badly, his face pale, his eyes filled with fear. My chest ached seeing him like that. I felt like stabbing my heart just to stop the pain.

When he confessed his feelings for me, I forgot everything else in the world. He cried for me. He was terrified of losing me. He loves me more than his life.

And now sitting beside me Aarav ji hadn’t let go of my hand even for a second. His face had a different glow today a happiness so pure. it made my heart race. He turned his head catching me staring at him. My heartbeat thudded like a drum faster than a cheetah running.

We reached the mansion after a while. It was late and as expected, everyone was waiting for us in the living room.

“Why are you two so late today?” Maa asked concern clear in her voice.

“Did someone beat you up Aarav?” Papa teased laughing as he eyed Aarav’s dusty clothes.

“Bhabhi, did you beat Bhai? Good job!” Raj chimed in laughing.

“Why do you look like Majnu?” Chachi added with a smirk.

“Did you fall in mud ?” Jaye teased.

Everyone kept talking not giving us a chance to explain. Aarav ji sighed loudly clearly frustrated and flopped onto the couch. “Stop guys! Let us speak!” he exclaimed running a hand through his hair.

I smiled and started explaining everything. When I finished Maa’s worried gaze landed on me.

“Aaradhya baccha you should have been more careful!” she scolded gently, checking me for any signs of injury.

“Maa I’m completely fine” I assured her.

“But who was the person who stole your phone?” Darsh asked angrily his fists clenching.

“He’s already dead in the accident,” I said trying to keep my voice calm.

“Good for him” Darsh muttered under his breath, making me shake my head.

“Go change and come quickly for dinner” Maa said ushering us to our room.

Later after dinner I was sitting on the bed when Aarav ji walked in holding two steaming cups of coffee. He handed one to me before settling beside me.

“You made this?” I asked sniffing the coffee.

“Yes” he replied simply. pulling me close and wrapping a blanket around both of us. I leaned against his chest the warmth of his embrace making everything feel perfect.

For a while we sat in comfortable silence. Then he broke it.

“I’m really sorry for that night” he said quietly, his voice filled with regret.

I knew what he was talking about. “Can I know why you’re sorry?” I asked softly.

He hesitated before replying “I thought I made you uncomfortable with my actions. That’s why you were angry with me.”

I turned to face him giving him a look that clearly said, Are you serious?

“Why would I be uncomfortable with you? I was angry because I thought you didn’t like being close to me. That’s why I was avoiding you” I explained, chuckling at the misunderstanding.

We both laughed the tension melting away.

“Why wouldn’t I like being close to you?” he asked his voice tender.

“And why would I not like your touch?” I countered taking a sip of my coffee.

“I love you” he said suddenly making me look at him again. His eyes were filled with sincerity. “I was so scared today. I thought I’d lose you.”

I put my coffee cup aside and cupped his face gently. “I’m right here safe and sound in your arms. As long as you’re with me nothing can harm me. Believe me” I said softly.

He smiled and pulled me closer hugging me by my waist. He placed a gentle kiss on my cheek, and I closed my eyes, savoring the warmth of his touch.

Where he once wanted to make my life hell, now he wants to make it as dreamy and beautiful as heaven.

“Let’s sleep” he whispered lying back on the bed and pulling me along with him.

Wrapped in each other’s arms we drifted into a peaceful sleep, ready to start a new chapter in our lives.

The next morning

I wake up giggling as I feel something ticklish on my neck.

“Hahaha,” I laugh softly still half-asleep. Slowly I open my eyes and find myself staring at the most beautiful sight....Aarav ji looking at me with the sweetest smile on his face.

“Good morning, Jaan” he says his deep voice making butterflies flutter wildly in my stomach.

“Good morning” I reply shyly my cheeks heating up. Before I can say more, he leans closer and kisses my cheek, letting his lips linger there for a few seconds.

My heart races and I can barely breathe.

“That’s how you should wish your husband good morning” he teases with a playful smirk, his eyes sparkling.

I quickly look away unable to meet his gaze. “We… we are getting la… late,” I stammer sitting up hurriedly.

But before I can move further he pulls me back against his chest.

“The university belongs to me Jaan. You don’t have to worry about getting late” he whispers near my ear, his voice sending shivers down my spine.

And then he says it again the word “Jaan.” It feels like my heart is about to burst.

“It’s getting late Aarav ji. Let’s go na,” I say, trying to sound firm, even though my voice betrays me.

He laughs softly but finally lets me go. I quickly grab my clothes and rush into the washroom, shutting the door behind me. My heart is still racing as I lean against the door, trying to calm down.

This man will be the death of me someday!

Aarav's POV

My life couldn’t be more perfect. I lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. a soft smile on my lips. My baby is precious. God, Aarav you’ve changed, I think to myself rolling on the bed like a teenager.

“Aarav behave!” I mutter sitting up. “If someone sees you like this, they’ll think you’re a mental patient.” Shaking my head I get up and head to my gym.

I have to maintain my body for my wife. It feels amazing to be loved by your favorite person in the world.

“Good morning everyone” I greet cheerfully as I sit at the dining table.

“Good morning” they all reply but my eyes are glued to her. My baby is sitting quietly, looking down, her cheeks turn its colour in lovely shade of red.

We start our breakfast but I can’t stop looking at her. She keeps stealing glances at me too and my family being my family doesn’t let it go unnoticed. Their indirect teasing makes her blush even more and I can’t help but grin like an idiot.

After breakfast she gets up. “Bye-bye everyone” she says softly her voice sweet as always.

I bid my goodbyes too and follow her outside. “Jaan!” I call out making her turn with an annoyed expression.

“Haan baba aap hi ki jaan hoon! Sabko chilla kar batane ki zarurat nahi hai” she snaps and  I burst out laughing at her expressions.

I step closer and pull her by the waist. Her hands land on my chest and the height difference between us feels just perfect. She barely reaches my chest making her look so tiny compared to me.

“Someone will see us” she whispers glancing around nervously.

“Let them. We’re husband and wife” I reply casually and her cheeks turn an even deeper red.

Leaning closer, I say “Be ready tonight. We’re going somewhere.”

She looks up at me her eyes sparkling with curiosity. She nods, her lips forming a small smile. “Okay” she says softly.

“Take care of yourself” I say reluctantly letting her go.

Arjun opens the car door for her and she looks back at me her smile warm and beautiful. I smile back feeling my heart swell.

She takes a step closer to me and before I can process what’s happening she stands on her toes and kisses my cheek.

It’s so sudden so unexpected that I freeze on the spot completely stunned. My heart feels like it might burst. Her car starts moving and she sticks her head out of the window shouting with a giggle “Bye bye Aarav ji!”

I’m still standing there my face burning with a blush as I replay the moment in my head. Her soft lips… God, what will it feel like when her lips meet mine? The thought sends shivers down my spine.

I turn to go to my car but I stop abruptly. My entire family is hiding behind the door peeking out. The moment I notice them, Maa and Chachi rush inside pretending they weren’t watching. The rest step out casually, acting like nothing happened.

“The weather is nice today” Chachu comments trying to sound innocent.

I glare at them but they avoid my eyes getting into their cars like perfect angels.

“Bye bye Romeo Yaduvanshi!” I hear Jaye shout as he drives off.

I clench my jaw glaring after him but inside I’m still floating on cloud nine. My wife kissed me. Wohoo!

At Office

“Make sure everything is perfect and in its place or you all will see a new side of me” I order my voice sharp as I sit back in my chair.

I have planned so many things for her tonight but it’s impossible to give her everything at once. Patience, Aarav patience. I’ll give her the rest later one step at a time.

One thing is already done I’ve returned her father’s company to him. It wasn’t of any use to me anyway. But more than that, she asked me to give it back, and I couldn’t refuse her. I can never say no to her.

“Rahul” I call my voice firm. He steps forward quickly waiting for my command.

“Call the designer and ask if the dresses are ready” I say without looking up from the file in my hand.

He nods and steps aside to make the call. A moment later he returns with a positive response.

“The dresses are ready sir” Rahul confirms.

“Good” I say a small smirk forming on my lips. “I want everything to be perfect tonight.”

As I sit there my fingers tapping lightly on the desk, my mind drifts to her. Her smile, her eyes the way she blushes when I tease her it all plays in my head like a movie. Tonight has to be special. For her. Only for her.

Aaradhya's pov

I come back from college and start getting ready to go with Aarav ji. He sent me a bold maroon bodycon dress that reaches my ankles. It’s decorated with crystals making it look so beautiful and elegant.

After getting ready I stand in front of the mirror one last time. My heart is racing with nervousness. The dress fits perfectly, hugging my body in all the right places. I pick up my phone to call Aarav ji and let him know I’m ready.

Before I can dial, I hear a knock on the door. When I open it, Maa, Chachi, and Riya walk in together.

“Oh my goodness!” they say in unison their eyes scanning me from head to toe.

“You’re looking so beautiful in this dress” Chachi says taking off my evil eye with her hand.

“Bhabhi you’re looking sexy!” Riya adds with a wink making me blush. I mumble a small thank you feeling shy.

Maa walks over and kisses my forehead her eyes glistening with tears. “Mujhe bahot khushi ho rahi hai, sach mein” she says with a warm smile. I hug her tightly feeling emotional too.

“Jaan, Ar....” Aarav ji’s voice suddenly fills the room. He stops mid-sentence when he sees everyone. His eyes then shift to me and he freezes in place.

He’s wearing a black coat and pants with a matching shirt underneath, perfectly complementing my dress. There’s intricate detailing on his coat near the chest, making him look even more dashing.

Our eyes meet and he stares at me without blinking. I feel my cheeks heat up under his gaze.

Maa and the others exchange knowing looks and quietly leave the room closing the door behind them. Now, it’s just the two of us.

Aarav ji starts walking toward me each step making my heartbeat faster.

“You look so beautiful” he says softly leaning down to kiss my forehead. My eyes close at his gentle gesture my heart fluttering.

“You also look very handsome” I manage to say my voice barely above a whisper. He rubs the back of his neck his eyes looking down shyly.

“Thank you so much” he replies glancing up at me with a small smile.

Before I can say anything his phone rings. He takes it out glances at the caller ID, and cuts the call without hesitation. His focus remains entirely on me and I feel my cheeks turning pink again.

“Let’s go we’re getting late” Aarav ji says, holding my hand and leading me towards the roof. I follow him quietly wondering why we are going there. Maybe he has decorated the roof for us.

As soon as we step onto the roof I stop in my tracks completely shocked, like someone has given me a 440-volt current. A chopper is waiting for us on the helipad.

“Where are we going?” I ask my voice full of curiosity.

“You’ll know soon” he says with a small smile and helps me get into the chopper.

I sit down and he sits beside me. “Good evening ma’am” the pilot greets me politely.

“Good evening” I reply my voice soft.

We buckle our seatbelts and in no time, the chopper takes off. I immediately grab Aarav ji’s hand tightly. I have acrophobia and the height makes me nervous.

“Look outside” Aarav ji says and I hesitantly glance out the window. My jaw drops in awe. The path the chopper is taking is glowing with lights as if the lights are creating a special route for us.

I look back at him and he’s smiling at me. “You’re traveling this path so it has to be special” he says his words making me fall for him all over again.

“Thank you so much” I say softly looking back outside.

We fly over what looks like the sea. Is he taking me out of the country? I wonder.

“We’re about to land, ma’am and sir” the pilot announces, and the chopper starts descending. I hold Aarav ji’s hand even tighter refusing to let go.

When we land I realize we’re on an island. The entire place is glowing with lights as if someone has decorated it for a celebration.

Aarav ji offers me his hand and I step out of the chopper with him. He holds my hand and starts walking.

“This is an island right?” I ask glancing around.

He nods.

“Whose island is this?” I ask curiously.

“You’ll know soon” he replies leading me to a beautifully decorated area.

The place is breathtaking, with roses, fairy lights, a cute little table, and countless candles arranged perfectly. I’m so mesmerized by the sight that I don’t realize Aarav ji is no longer beside me.

I turn around and freeze. Aarav ji is on his knees holding a ring in his hand.

I smile the biggest smile of my life and he smiles back.

“I love you, Aaradhya Aarav Yaduvanshi,” he says his voice steady and filled with emotion. “Will you give me the chance to be your life partner? Will you let me be the father of your children? Will you allow me to stay in your heart forever?”

His words are so full of love and patience that my eyes well up with happy tears.

“Yes, yes, yes!” I say repeatedly and he gently slides the ring onto my finger.

I pull him up and hug him tightly unable to hold back my happiness.

“I love you too Aarav Aaradhya Yaduvanshi” I say loudly and he chuckles softly hugging me back just as tightly.

“Thank you so much for accepting this idiot as your life partner” he says looking at me with a playful smile.

“Thank you for choosing me” I reply still hugging him around his neck.

We smile at each other and my eyes drift to his lips. I look into his eyes and realize he’s thinking the same thing.

He leans in closer and my eyes close on their own. I can feel his warm breath on my lips.

“Can I kiss you, Mrs. Aarav?” he asks softly a small smile playing on his lips.

“You don’t have to ask, Mr. Aarav” I reply and the next moment I feel his lips on mine.

At first we don’t move our lips but then he starts kissing me slowly so gently, as if afraid to hurt me. His hands grip my waist firmly and my hands find their way into his hair.

He pulls me slightly closer and our lips fit together perfectly like pieces of a puzzle.

When he pulls back our eyes remain closed and he rests his forehead against mine.

“I’m going to get addicted to your lips Jaan” he says making my breath hitch.

Before I can respond he kisses me again this time faster and rougher. I try to move my lips with his but his speed is overwhelming. It feels like he’s been starving for this moment for years.

I tap his shoulder lightly signaling for a break, and he finally pulls away.

“I love you so much, Jaan” he says his eyes sparkling with happiness.

“I love you too” I reply and we both laugh softly.

“If the price is this beautiful I don’t regret staying single all my life” he says and I feel proud knowing we were each other’s first kiss.

"Let's eat something. I'm hungry" I say softly, feeling my stomach growl.

"For me or for food?" Aarav ji teases smirking. I playfully hit his chest.

“Gande ho aap” I mumble moving towards the beautifully decorated table covered with food and candles.

He pulls out a chair for me and I sit down murmuring a small “Thank you.”

We start eating the calming sound of the waves adding to the magical atmosphere.

“This is so good!” I exclaim savoring the pasta and closing my eyes at its mind-blowing taste.

“Did you like it?” he asks his voice full of curiosity.

I nod eagerly.

“Okay, I’ll hire the chef for you” he says casually and I look at him in disbelief.

“By the way did you decorate this entire island? And... is there no one else here?” I ask the question lingering in my mind since we arrived.

“Oh sorry, I forgot to tell you. Actually I bought this island for you” he says eating calmly as if it’s no big deal.

“Why?” The word escapes my lips as a soft whisper.

“Because you said you wanted your confession to be dreamy. So I made it a little dreamy” he explains his tone innocent.

I place my hand on my head feeling overwhelmed. “So you bought an entire island just for that?”

He nods sincerely. “From tomorrow the construction of your mansion here will begin.”

I stare at him unable to find the right words so I stay silent and continue eating, deciding I’ll think 100 times before speaking to him again.

After dinner we sit on the soft sand near the sea. The sky is breathtaking tonight filled with stars. I rest my head on his shoulder and he secures me close by holding me.

“I never thought you’d fall for me” I say, my eyes fixed on the starry sky.

“I never thought I’d fall for you either” he replies softly “but there wasn’t a single reason not to fall in love with you.”

His words make me smile.

“What if I...” I start to repeat my old mistake but stop myself.

“When will we come here again?” I ask quickly changing the topic.

“Whenever you tell me” he says pulling me closer as the weather grows chilly.

“We should go home. It’s getting cold” he says and I nod.

He stands up and offers me his hand to help me up. I take it and rise but my feet ache.

“My legs are hurting because of these heels” I complain pouting slightly.

The moment I finish I feel myself being lifted into the air.

“I’m here baby. Don’t worry I’ll carry you” he says with a reassuring smile.

I smile shyly, looking down as he carries me to the chopper. He gently places me in my seat before sitting beside me.

The chopper takes off heading back to our mansion.

“This is the most beautiful day of my life” I think stealing a glance at Aarav ji. He’s already looking at me his smile warm and full of love.

I rest my head on his shoulder, feeling content. I don’t even realize when I fall asleep, the sound of his heartbeat lulling me into dreams.
