Aarav's POV
She is still sitting on my lap, hugging me tightly. Her sobs have slowed down and she is slowly calming herself. She cried so much because of his disgusting words and the fact that no man has ever touched her before in that way. His touch made her uncomfortable.
I promise you jaan Iâll give him the worst punishment anyone can ever imagine.
âBaby weâre homeâ I say softly. She looks up at me and tries to get off my lap but I hold her waist firmly.
âShould I carry you inside like this?â I tease trying to distract her from the horrible memory.
It works. She looks down and a small smile starts forming on her lips. She gets out of the car and I follow her.
As we walk inside everyone is already there waiting for us.
âMeri bacchi are you okay?â Maa asks her with concern her voice gentle. She nods with a faint smile.
âLetâs end this topic hereâ Papa says firmly. He doesnât want her to relive the pain by talking about it again and again.
âYou go and rest in your room. Iâll send something for you to eatâ Chachi says kindly. She nods and walks toward our room with me.
Once inside, she changes into comfortable clothes and lies down on the bed.
âFirst eat something jaanâ I urge her gently.
âIâm okay. Donât worry about me Aarav jiâ she replies softly with a small smile.
âShould I give you company?â I ask gesturing toward the bed.
Without a word she opens her arms wide inviting me in. I lie down beside her and she rests her head on my chest.
âSleep baby. Iâm hereâ I whisper stroking her hair gently. I feel her smile as she relaxes in my arms.
I keep patting her head waiting for her to drift off to sleep. After a while when Iâm sure she sleeps. I carefully move her body a little away from me and cover her with the blanket.
âSorry for leaving you like this jaanâ I think to myself. I glance at her one last time before quietly stepping out of the room. Thereâs something important I need to handle.
At the Basement
I step out of my car and walk straight into the basement. His painful screams fill the air and I know he doesn't have much time left. My men have tortured him enough for him to be knocking on death's door.
As I enter the room I see Rahul hitting him with a metal rod. Rahul isn't the calm, composed person he usually is. Right now he's my right hand doing what needs to be done.
I smirk at the sight of the pathetic freak on the ground. Walking to my chair, I sit down and Rahul immediately stops and comes to stand beside me.
"Sir Lalit Malhotra wants to talk to you" Rahul says handing me the phone.
I take it and press it to my ear. The sound of a desperate crying father greets me.
"Please leave my son sir. I beg you" Malhotra pleads his voice trembling.
"You should've taught your son some manners Mr. Malhotra" I reply calmly. Only those close to me know how dangerous I am when I'm this calm. "He dared to look at Aarav Yaduvanshi's wife."
"Sir he'll never repeat this mistake again. Please I'm begging you leave him" he cries.
I glance at the boy barely able to keep his eyes open, and cut the call without another word.
I came to know that he has raped many innocent girls, is involved in human trafficking and is also a drug dealer just a burden on this earth.
Standing up I walk over to him. My guard throws cold water on his face and he wakes up with a jolt.
"S-sorry sir! Please forgive me! I'm sorry!" he stammers barely able to form words. His pathetic state only fuels my anger.
I think of my wife crying because of this filth. My fists tighten and before I realize it I'm punching him. Again. And again. The image of her tears flashes in my mind and I hit him harder. Kicks, punches, everything I have. My shirt is now stained with his blood but I don't stop.
He's barely alive when my phone rings. Annoyed I take it out of my pocket. Who's calling me now?
But my irritation melts away when I see the caller ID. My eyes soften instantly. My jaan is calling.
I take a deep breath turn to the pathetic freak, and say coldly "Shhh. My wife is calling. Don't make a sound."
"Hi jaan" I answer my voice warm.
"Where are you? Come fast! Everyone is waiting for you for dinner!" she yells but it only makes me smile.
Hearing her assert her rights as my wife makes me feel alive.
"Sorry jaan. I'm coming" I say softly ending the call.
Without a second thought, I turn to the freak and pull out my gun. One shot and it's over.
With a satisfied smile I make my way out of the room. I notice the shocked faces of my guards but I don't care.
Changing into a clean shirt I sit in my car and head home. My jaan is waiting for me.
Aaradhya's POV
"I'm fine Kia I swear" I say into the phone trying to calm her down.
She's been apologizing for the past few minutes blaming herself for not saving me earlier because Riya stopped her.
Riya explained that she had already called Aarav ji and wanted me to handle the situation myself. That's why she stood aside with Kia.
"Are you sure baby?" Kia asks in a soft voice. Her concern makes me smile at her cuteness.
"Yes baby I'm sure" I reply reassuringly. She finally cuts the call after telling me to rest.
I put the phone aside and turn to head downstairs for dinner but freeze when I see Aarav ji standing just inches away from me. He's staring at me with those intense dangerous eyes of his.
"Wh...what?" I stammer taking a small step back. He steps closer.
"Who were you calling baby?" he asks his voice serious his gaze burning into mine. And let me tell you girls-he looks insanely hot right now.
"None of your business" I say teasingly knowing full well I'm provoking him. But hey I'm a brave girl who likes to put her hand in the lion's mouth.
"Everything related to you is my business wifey" he says his tone low and possessive as he steps even closer. My back hits the wall.
"Now tell me who was that baby?" he asks again.
Since I'm not one to back down I smirk and reply "One of my male friend"
The second I finish my sentence his hand wraps around my throat not too gently, but not harshly either. His other hand grips my waist pulling me closer. I don't break eye contact with him.
"I'll kill him" he says darkly his voice dripping with jealousy "and in front of his body, I'll make love to you wifey, because you. Are. Mine."
The moment he finishes his lips crash into mine. He kisses me desperately pouring all his emotions into it. I grip his shoulders for support as his hold on my throat tightens slightly-not enough to hurt but enough to send shivers through me.
His other hand slides under my top caressing my waist. The sensation makes me moan softly into the kiss. He presses me harder against the wall, his hand working magic on my bare waistband I can't stop the soft moans escaping my lips.
Suddenly he breaks the kiss leaving me breathless and confused.
"Stop baby before I lose control" he says his eyes closed as if trying to calm himself. He holds me firmly by my waist grounding himself.
I smile at the way he respects my boundaries. Leaning up I give him a quick peck on the lips making him open his eyes.
"I was talking to Kia" I admit with a small smile.
He glares at me but it's more cute than intimidating. "You're being naughty babe" he says shaking his head.
I laugh at his adorable expression.
"Can I ask you something Aarav ji?" I ask looking at him curiously. He nods his expression calm.
"Why do you, Papa and Chachu carry guns? And seeing you all today it doesnât feel like youâre normal people. It feels like... youâre all part of the mafia" I say hesitantly watching his reaction.
He smiles that usual charming yet mysterious smile of his.
"Itâs not like that. We keep guns for our protection" he replies smoothly.
Iâm about to ask him something else but he cuts me off quickly changing the topic. His tone and actions make it clear he doesnât want to continue this conversation.
"Let's go. Maa is calling us" he says taking my hand as we head downstairs for dinner.
Aarav's POV
We are sitting in the backyard, talking about random things. Aaradhya's soft hand is resting on my thigh and Iâm absentmindedly tracing circles on it with my fingers.
"Letâs go for a long drive" Jaye suddenly suggests his voice full of excitement. My siblings being the ghumakkads they immediately light up at the idea.
"Yeah itâs been so long since we all went together" Raj agrees standing up. One by one everyone begins to rise from their seats the excitement contagious. Aaradhya gets up too but I grab her wrist and gently pull her back down beside me.
"Weâll go together alone" I whisper in her ear, my lips brushing softly against her skin. She smiles her cheeks slightly pink.
"Letâs go guys!" Darsh says all ready for a long drive.
"Weâre not coming with you all" I declare firmly shaking my head.
Before Aaradhya can say anything Riya grabs her hand and tries to pull her up. "You donât have to come Bhai but Bhabhi will go with us" she insists playfully.
I smirk pulling Aaradhya back toward me. "Sheâs my wife so sheâll go with me" I reply my tone leaving no room for argument.
Jaye raises an eyebrow. "Are you challenging us.bro?"
"Think whatever you want man but sheâs not going without me" I say with a confident smirk.
"Okay challenge accepted" Raj says grinning as they all leave laughing amongst themselves. Now itâs just the two of us.
Aaradhya turns to me her expression soft. "We shouldâve gone with them" she says quietly.
I smile wrapping my arms around her waist from behind. "You can go with them love. But Iâm leaving for Lucknow early tomorrow morning for a business meeting and wonât be back until late. I just want to spend some time with you today" I say gently tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
She smiles at my words her eyes lighting up. "Can you please bring me a Lucknowi kurti?" she asks her voice sweet her eyes filled with a childlike innocence.
I chuckle pulling her closer until her body presses against mine. "Just say the word my queen. You donât have to say please" I reply my tone teasing.
Her grin widens and she leans in to give me a quick peck on the lips. "Youâre the best" she says her excitement making me laugh.
Just then my phone buzzes. I glance at the screen and see Rahulâs name flashing. I pick up the call.
"Hello?" I say but his voice keeps breaking.
"Wait your voice isnât clear" I tell him getting up and walking a few steps away to catch a better signal. Once I can hear him properly he explains my schedule for tomorrow and hangs up.
I turn around ready to take Aaradhya on the long drive but sheâs not where I left her. My eyes scan the area. Did she go inside?
I walk into the house heading toward the staircase but my phone rings again. Itâs Jaye. Why is he calling me now?
I pick up the call my brows furrowed in confusion. "Hello?"
âAaradhya is with us bro. You lost the challengeâ Jayeâs voice comes through the phone loud and clear.
âSee, Bhabhi is ours more than yoursâ Riya adds with a playful laugh.
âOh I seeâ I say already making my way to the garage determination bubbling inside me.
âBhai, Bhabhi is our favorite and she loves us more than youâ Darsh chimes in loudly.
âAlright then Iâll show you all who she really belongs toâ I reply confidently. They cut the call and I smirk.
I grab my leather jacket slip it on and put on my helmet. Taking out my motorcycle I start it with a roar and speed out of the mansion. Checking their location on my phone I see theyâre headed downtown.
After driving for a few minutes I spot their car ahead of me. I slow down and trail behind them quietly. At a red signal their car stops giving me the perfect chance. I pull my bike up beside the car and knock on the window.
They all look at me some surprised some amused. But my eyes are fixed on my jaan. Aaradhyaâs smile lights up her face when she sees me.
I lean closer to her window pointing to my helmet where my cheek is. I silently indicate her to kiss me.
(Check out my Instagram reel to imagine this sceneâit's worth it, believe me ððð. My ID is ficuniverse_00.)
She leans forward her lips pressing against the side of my helmet and then sits back a small smile on her face.
âNow tell me who does she belong to?â I ask smirking under my helmet.
They all scoff and groan before saying in unison âAarav Yaduvanshi.â
I laugh at their annoyed reactions.
âCome to our favorite ice cream parlorâ Jaye says as the light turns green. I nod and rev my bike winking at my baby before speeding ahead of their car.
I feel so proud right now like Iâve won a big prize. Thank you thank you hehehe.
Their car stops in a quieter area and I park my bike beside them. As they step out I look at Jaye. âGo order for all of us. Oh and youâre giving the treat for losing the challengeâ I say with a teasing grin.
He glares at me but goes to place the order anyway.
We stand near the railing the city view spread out before us. The spot is on a small hill, and the entire city sparkles like a sea of lights below.
âBhai, you look so handsome like thisâ Riya says her eyes sparkling.
I laugh. âBecause Iâm your brother, of course.â
âYou pass the vibe check Bhai Ummahâ she says blowing a kiss dramatically making me smile.
Jaye returns with our ice creams and we start eating while admiring the view. Aaradhya is standing beside me, her face glowing with a beautiful smile.
I notice a small smear of ice cream on the corner of her lips. I glance around everyone is busy with their own ice creams. Taking the chance I pull her closer by her wrist.
She looks at me surprised. I lean in and gently wipe the ice cream off by licking it. Her eyes widen and her cheeks flush. She steps back a little her expression shy yet adorable.
âThere was some ice creamâ I say casually holding back a laugh.
She hits my chest lightly her smile small but sweet.
Just then my phone rings. Maaâs name flashes on the screen. I pick up and put the call on speaker.
âWHERE ARE YOU ALL HUH? COME HOME IN FIVE MINUTES OR IâLL KILL ALL OF YOU! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?â Maaâs voice booms making everyone gulp.
âWeâre coming Maaâ we all reply in unison, finishing our ice creams in a hurry.
I get on my bike and Aaradhya sits behind me her arms wrapping around my waist tightly. The others pile into the car and together we speed toward the house like weâre in a race against time.
