Aarav's POV

"Make sure everything is perfect. I don't want even a slight mistake in this mission" I order my guards firmly while they prepare for the biggest and most dangerous mission of our lives.

"Sir he is also with them... against you" Rahul says showing me a video on his phone. It's my business rival. A smirk forms on my lips. "I knew he would show his true colors soon"

Malhotra and another rival of mine are teaming up against me. They are planning something big. But I've already found out most of their plans. The only problem is that one of their partners is still in the shadows. I don't know who it is yet but I'll find out.

"Keep an eye on everything and let me know as soon as things are ready" I say turning on my heel and heading upstairs to my cabin from the basement.

I sit in my chair letting out a small sigh. My eyes land on the ring on my finger the one my love made me wear weeks ago. A smile tugs at my lips as I pick up my hand and kiss the ring softly. She's becoming my obsession day by day.

I love her I know that But I also know this love has turned into something deeper... darker. Obsession. She's mine. She'll stay with me until my last breath and I'll make sure of it.

I'll love her so much, so intensely, that leaving me won't even be an option in her mind.

My phone vibrates on the desk pulling me out of my thoughts. It's Jaye. I pick up the call and place it to my ear.

"Is everything ready bro?" he asks. His voice has that casual yet concerned tone he always uses with me.

"Hmm" I hum in response glancing at the clock on the wall.

"When are you leaving? And when will you be back?" he asks again.

"We'll leave by 12 and return around 11 tonight" I say my voice calm.

"Come back as soon as possible and take care of yourself okay?" His care is clear and it makes me smile.

"I'll take care of myself Mumma" I tease and we both laugh. After he gives me some more advice we end the call.

I sit back staring at the ceiling for a moment. There's no room for mistakes tonight. Not in this mission.

Only Jaye, Papa and Chachu know about this mission. Papa tried to stop me because it's risky but I want to make them realize who they are messing with. They need to understand what it means to challenge me.

"Sir everything is ready" Rahul informs me. I get up from my chair and walk out with him.

We step into the car and start moving towards the location. More than a hundred guards are accompanying us not just regular ones but highly trained professionals.

As I sit in the car my phone buzzes. A message. My heart races a little as I unlock it quickly. It's from her.......my jaan.

"I miss you jaan🥺"

That's all the message says. I freeze staring at those words. My heart fills with so much happiness I feel like it might burst. She's missing me just like I miss her. Aaradhya you're making this devil go crazy for you with just your little acts.

"Turn the cars towards Yaduvanshi University" I order Rahul without looking away from the screen. He glances at me confused but doesn't question me. He follows the order.

I don't reply to her message. I just sit there smiling like a fool, staring at the words over and over. If my baby is missing me then she'll get to see me in front of her. That's the kind of man I am.

My subconscious whispers, Take a print of it and frame it in your room. For the first time, it's actually giving me a good idea. I really should do that.

The cars enter the university campus and I glance outside. Students start running out of their classes, crowding around to see what's happening. My car stops and one of the guards opens the door.

I step out fixing my coat as I do. My eyes scan the crowd. already searching for her. She wanted me and now I'm here. Let's see how she reacts.

Aaradhya's POV

I'm sitting in the classroom after lectures playing truth and dare with Riya and Kia. It's been a fun way to kill time and we're all laughing and teasing each other.

"Kia truth or dare?" Riya asks her voice full of mischief.

Kia thinks for a moment tapping her chin "Truth" she finally says and Riya smirks wickedly.

"Now tell us the most embarrassing thing you've done this year" Riya asks and I lean forward excitedly waiting to hear her answer.

Kia groans "Ahh okay I'll tell you but you guys have to promise not to make fun of me!" she says giving us a pleading look.

Riya and I grin mischievously. "Did we ever make fun of you before?" we say in unison trying to act innocent.

She narrows her eyes at us but continues. "Okay so eight months ago I went to an amusement park. I decided to go inside a horror house. I got so scared that... I peed a little in my pants. And then... I accused the man next to me of spilling water on me" she says quickly looking embarrassed.

For a second we're silent and then we burst out laughing.

"Oh my God! Kia how hahaha!" Riya laughs so hard she ends up lying on the bench holding her stomach.

"You guys are so mean! You promised you wouldn't laugh!" Kia says pouting.

"Okay okay we're not laughing" I say pressing my lips together to stop the giggles though my shoulders are shaking.

"Now it's your turn Aaradhya" Kia says looking at me.

"Truth or dare?" they ask in unison.

I don't want to end up like Kia so I play it safe or so I think "Dare" I say confidently.

Riya's eyes sparkle with mischief. "Text your lover and say 'I miss you jaan" she says and my eyes widen in shock.

"But......" I start to protest but they cut me off.

"You have to do it! No backing out now!" they say giggling.

I sigh and nod opening my phone. Thankfully I've saved his number as My Love. My fingers type out the words "I miss you jaan" but before I can hit send Kia grabs my phone and adds an emoji. Riya snatches it next and presses send before I can stop her.

"Let's see what jiju replies now!" Kia says grinning and we all sit there staring at my phone.

"Oh my God he already seen it! Let's see what he writes" Riya says her excitement contagious.

My heart races as I wait... and wait... but nothing. Not a single message comes.

"Aww our bad. He didn't reply" Kia says pouting.

I sigh putting my phone aside. A small pout forms on my lips. Why didn't he reply? He could've at least sent a heart emoji or something. I'll deal with you at home Mr. Yaduvanshi.

"Let's resume the game. Your turn Riya" Kia says turning her mischievous gaze to her.

"Truth or dare?" Kia asks.

"Truth" Riya replies confidently.

Kia laughs devilishly ready to ask her something embarrassing but before she can a loud commotion erupts outside the classroom.

"What's happening outside?" I ask leaning over to look out the window.

"Let's see!" Kia says grabbing my hand and Riya's dragging us along with her. We step outside and stop near the railing looking down at the campus.

My eyes widen in shock "What the... What is he doing here? Am I dreaming?" I whisper staring at Aarav Ji stepping out of his car. Behind him more than fifty black cars are lined up making the scene even more intimidating.

"You messaged Bhai right? That's why he's here!" Riya whispers in my ear and my breath quickens as I see him heading straight in my direction.

"Oh my God! Aarav Yaduvanshi! Riya your brother is here!" Kia screams excitedly and we laugh at her overreaction.

"Oh my God Aarav Yaduvanshi" one of the girls in the crowd says loudly.

"Look at him! He looks so hot in that black outfit. I wish I could touch his body just once in my life!"

I hear another voice this one from the class playgirl shouting "I wish I could have a one-night stand with him!"

I glance at Aarav Ji. He's looking around probably searching for me. I'm not jealous. No, not at all. I'm just glaring at him that's it.

"Cool Bhabhi cool" Riya says teasingly trying to calm me down.

I see our principal walking towards him. They shake hands and Aarav Ji starts walking inside the college building.

Everyone is staring at him especially the girls who are practically drooling over him. Their eyes are glued to him like he's some superstar.

I'm still deep in thought fuming silently when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see Rahul, Aarav Ji's right-hand man.

He gestures for me to follow him and I nod walking away quietly. Neither Riya nor Kia notices me leaving.

Rahul leads me to the head office of the college. Of course it's his office everything here belongs to him.

"Ma'am please wait here. Sir will be here shortly" Rahul says opening the door for me. I step inside and sit on the couch.

I cross my arms fuming. "I'll kill you today Aarav Ji" I mutter under my breath.

The door opens and he walks in locking it behind him. He's smiling so widely it's like one corner of his lips is in the east and the other in the west. I glare at him but he doesn't seem to care.

He walks straight towards me sitting down beside me. "I missed you too jaan" he says softly and leans in to hug me.

But I push him back placing my hands on his chest. His smile falters and confusion fills his eyes. He studies my face for a moment and I can see the realization hit him. He knows I'm angry.

"I'm really sorry jaan that I didn't reply to your text. I wanted to surprise you by coming here" he says with a pure smile on his face. And who said I didn't melt seeing that smile?

I grab his collar and pull his face closer to mine. My voice is firm as I ask "Whom do you belong to?"

He smiles shyly his gaze soft "I belong to you jaan" he replies his hands finding their place on my waist. His touch works its magic sending a warm shiver through me.

"You're only mine. You belong to Aaradhya Yaduvanshi. Remember this" I declare and without thinking, press my lips to his in a fierce kiss.

I don't know what's happening to me but the thought of sharing him with anyone else makes my blood boil. I feel him lifting me gently and settling me onto his lap.

My kiss grows rougher fueled by possessiveness and his hands caress my back pulling me even closer to him. Our bodies press together like two pieces of a puzzle finally finding their place.

I grab his hair softly biting his lower lip playfully. I can feel his smirk against my lips. In retaliation I tug on his hair a little harshly and he groans into the kiss. This time I smirk.

Then he does the unexpected....he spanks me lightly. I gasp into the kiss my eyes widening in shock but my body betrays me shivering under his touch.

He breaks the kiss and I look at him breathless. His eyes are full of love and something deeper........lust.

"Are you not being wild baby?" he teases brushing a strand of hair away from my face.

I glare at him. "Why did you have to come here?" I ask still catching my breath.

He looks confused. "What do you mean?"

"Every girl in this college was staring at you like you're a seven-course meal and they've been starving for years" I say narrowing my eyes at him.

His expression shifts from confused to satisfied and he smiles smugly. "Oh so my love is jealous huh?"

"Yes I am!" I snap holding his throat gently but my hand trembles as I feel his Adam's apple move under my touch.

"I'm all yours" he says softly. "Just say the word and I'll show you whom I belong to. I'll submit myself to you jaan" he whispers pressing a soft kiss to my neck.

I smile at his words and he mirrors my smile his eyes locked on mine.

"Were you missing me?" he asks his tone teasing.

I shake my head quickly "Riya and Kia dared me to text you so I just completed the dare" I admit trying to act nonchalant.

He pouts like a child making me giggle "And here I am coming all the way to reply to your message" he says shaking his head dramatically.

"It was worth it though. I got to see this side of my wifey" he says squeezing my waist playfully. I shiver again unable to hide my reaction.

"Sir we are getting late" we hear Rahul's voice from outside the door.

Aarav Ji sighs. "Coming" he replies and turns to look at me his smile still intact.

"Are you going somewhere?" I ask looking at him.

He nods "I have something important to do. I'll come back late at night so don't wait for me. Sleep on time" he says his tone soft but firm.

I nod in understanding "Take care of yourself and stay safe" I say leaning in to press a quick kiss on his lips. Then I step down from his lap straightening my clothes.

"Bye-bye" I whisper glancing at him one last time before walking out of the room.

My heartbeat is racing and I don't even know why. There's this uneasy feeling a fear I can't shake.

As I walk back to our classroom I notice students still gathered around watching him leave. His presence has clearly caused a stir.

"Where were you?" Kia asks the moment I stand beside her.

"I went to the washroom" I lie hoping she doesn't notice anything odd in my expression.

She nods not asking further. My eyes instinctively turn toward him. I watch as he gets into his car the powerful engine roaring to life.

He sits with that calm commanding aura of his and my heart skips a beat. The long line of black cars starts moving and soon they're out of sight.

I exhale slowly trying to calm the storm inside me. Something about him leaving like this makes me uneasy but I shake it off telling myself everything is fine.

After college ends I come home and find no one in the living room.

"Everyone must be in their rooms" I think and head to my room to freshen up. Once done I come downstairs again.

"Please make a coffee for me" I tell the house helper. She nods and goes to the kitchen. I sit on the couch and soon see Maa and Chachi entering from outside.

"You're back baccha?" Maa asks sitting beside me on the couch.

"Yes, but where were you guys?" I ask curious.

"We went to visit one of our friends. She had an operation a few days ago" Chachi says and I nod.

"How is she now?" I ask.

"She's fine now" Maa replies with a smile.

"Hi ladies!" Raj says walking out of his room and plopping down on the couch. Beside him is Darsh who looks focused on his laptop.

"What are you doing Darsh?" Chachi asks.

"Our exams are coming and I need to submit a project soon. Plus Bhai gave me a file to work on so I'm doing that too" he says typing away on his laptop.

"I was thinking" I start getting their attention "that we should go on a one-day trip. My exams are also coming and after that I won't get time to spend with all of you. Let's go before the exams"

Darsh and Raj's faces light up with excitement. "Yes yes Bhabhi you're right! We should go somewhere!" they say together making us laugh.

"I agree with Bhabhi" Riya says joining us and sitting beside Chachi.

"Okay then" Maa says, smiling "Let Aarav and others come home tonight. We'll discuss it and decide where to go"

We all nod happily excited about the plan.

At night

we are setting the dining table for dinner. Papa and Chachu are still not home.

"Where are they?" Chachi asks looking frustrated. "I'm really hungry"

We laugh at her impatience but just then we hear the door open. Papa and Chachu walk in.

"We're home" they say heading toward us.

"Go freshen up and come for dinner" Maa says. They nod and start going upstairs when Papa's phone rings. He picked the call.

"Hello... WHAT?!" Papa suddenly shouts into the phone and his mobile slips from his hands falling to the floor.

"What happened?" Maa asks shaking Papa lightly her voice trembling.

"Turn on the TV" Papa says in a low shaken voice. Darsh quickly switches it on and all our eyes fix on the screen.

The news anchor's voice fills the room

"Asia's youngest trillionaire and CEO of Yaduvanshi Group Aarav Yaduvanshi has reportedly died. He was traveling with his guards when unknown assailants attacked his car. Sixty bullet marks were found on the vehicle, but his death was caused by the car crashing into a bridge and falling into the river. His body is yet to be found"

My body freezes. My ears ring. It feels like time has stopped.

"No... it can't be real" I say my voice shaking. "He is safe. He didn't leave me. I know he's safe"

Maa tries to hold back her tears but I can see the pain in her eyes.

"Maa don't cry. It's fake. He's fine. Aarav ji is safe" I say trying to convince her....and myself.

Chachi holds Maa tightly as tears stream down her face.

"He's safe. I know he's safe" I repeat but my chest feels heavy. My vision blurs and the next thing I know darkness surrounds me as I lose consciousness.
