Aaradhya's POV

"Aarav ji I'm really scared" I say wearing my watch. Today is my result and I'm really nervous.

If I get good grades the university will provide us with internships. We will get our result and certificate on the stage but if we get less grades the university won’t give us internships.

"Baby don’t worry. I know you are going to rock the stage" he says setting my baby hair. I look at him.

"Should I come with you?" he asks and I shake my head.

"No you have something important to attend today. Go there" I say because I know he has something important today.

"But nothing is more important than you my love" he says and kisses my forehead. I adore him. He is wearing a black suit or I can say he almost has all black outfits in his closet.

"Give me luck for my result" I say looking into his eyes while my hand rests on his chest.

He pulls me closer and presses his lips on mine. Kissing me slowly but passionately. He holds my nape tightly and I circle my arms around his neck. I pour all my love for him into the kiss. We break the kiss and my breathing gets heavy. He holds my cheek and makes me look at him.

"All the best my lady and you are going to nail it because you are Aaradhya Aarav Yaduvanshi" he says and we both chuckle.

"We should also come with you beta" Maa says as I come out of the mansion walking toward my car.

"No Maa don’t worry about it and you rest" I say because she had a fever a few days ago.

Today is only my result. Raj Darsh and Riya’s results have already come and they are Yaduvanshi so obviously they topped in the college.

"Beta take care of yourself" Chachi says and I nod sitting inside my car.

Arjun Bhaiya starts the car. The entire ride I am just drinking water and wiping my invisible tears.

"Aaru!" As soon as I come out of the car Kia hugs me. I see her standing there with her parents.

"Hello Uncle Aunty" I say and touch their feet. Kia’s parents are cooler than her.

"Hey sweetheart" Aunty says and I smile.

"Let’s go inside girls. Everyone is already there" Uncle says and we enter the college auditorium. We wear our academic dresses and sit. Parents are sitting behind us.

"Hello students and their respective parents. Today is the result of your children and we are wishing you all good luck. The main thing I want to tell you is that someone very special is coming to distribute all your certificates and results and it’s a surprise for you all. Just after five minutes the program will start" one of our professors says and everyone starts whispering.

"What do you think, who is coming?" Kia asks looking at me.

"I don’t care who is coming or not. Just my result should be good" I say taking long breaths.

"Oh my God Lara you are looking so beautiful in this dress" one of our classmates or I should say Lara’s chamchi says loudly gaining everyone’s attention.

"Yeah she is looking pretty" one of the boys says looking at her and she smiles. Oh my God I’ll vomit seeing her smile.

"Thank you just worry about yourself guys. Don’t drool over me because you know I’m the topper so I don’t have to worry about my result" she says flipping her hair dramatically.

I wish I could digest this. She is a spoiled brat nothing else. She is good at studies but apart from that, she is... I sigh. Sorry I don’t judge anyone.

"Aaru I can’t digest it" Kia says loudly and I know she’s talking about Lara.

"What do you mean by this?" Lara asks glaring at Kia and Kia rolls her eyes.

"I was just saying don’t overthink about yourself darling because everyone knows who you are. Am I right?" Kia says smirking. She is in her fighting mood I think. I hold her hand indicating her to stop.

"You both lower middle-class girls what do you think of yourselves?" Lara snaps at us and I glare at her.

"We think we are better than you Miss Gandi Nali Ka Keedi" I say and everyone bursts out laughing.

"I think I need to make you realize your place" she says angrily and I ignore her.

"So ladies and gentlemen the star of our event is here and we all want you to stand and clap with your whole heart" the anchor announces and everyone stands up.

"So welcome the one and only Aarav Yaduvanshi!" the anchor says and I freeze in my place.

He is here.

Everyone starts clapping and I just stand there staring at the door.

He enters with his cold face the one I haven’t seen in so long. He walks inside with authority, his presence is just so powerful. Every step he takes screams power.

Rahul walks beside him matching his pace.

"Ohoo someone is here haa" Kia says bumping my shoulder and I blush.

"And I can see someone is also here" I say pointing toward Rahul. Now it’s her turn to blush.

Aarav sits in the chair beside the principal his posture straight, his aura unshakable. The program begins.

First they talk about the university its achievements and blah blah blah.

"Lara darling as you just said we are middle-class right? And you are from a very rich family so I’m giving you a dare. You have to shake hands with Aarav Yaduvanshi while taking your certificate because as you said you are going to top na" Kia says her tone challenging.

The students look at Lara who is sweating now.

"Yeah she can do anything. Once she told me her family is very close to the Yaduvanshi family" one of the girls says and others agree with her.

I shake my head because Kia is making things harder for poor Lara.

"O…ok I’ll do that. Just see you guys" Lara says stuttering a little.

We focus on the speech of our principal. And just then he stops in the middle.

"You all are really lucky students because our university's owner family is joining this program today" Principal Sir says and one by one Papa, Maa, Chachu, Chachi, Darsh, Raj and Riya and jaye enter inside.

Why are they all here?

I look at Aarav ji who is looking here and there maybe trying to find me. I’m sitting at the back so that’s why he isn’t able to spot me.

That’s when his eyes fall on me. He smiles a little and I smile back shyly. It feels so special. My entire family is here to support me.

Everyone sits in the front row even after Sir insists theme to sit on the stage.

The result distribution starts and first they give results to the students who pass. After that they’ll call the top ten students. Top students will get their results from his hands.

"Ok so now the top ten students of the development course will get their results and certificates from Aarav Yaduvanshi’s hands" the anchor says.

I and Kia are still waiting. Maybe we scored good marks and are in the top ten or maybe we failed. No no think positive Aaradhya.

"Ok so in the top ten it’s Lara D’Souza" the anchor says and I look at her. She is shocked because her overconfidence broke. She is not at the top.

She walks toward the stage with her fake smile. Aarav ji hands her the certificate and results without even touching her.

After they click her picture she extends her hand toward Aarav ji for a handshake but he ignores her and looks toward the students.

She comes back feeling humiliated and sits in her place.

"Oops Lara darling your ego just got crushed under your heels" Kia says and everyone laughs at her.

Everyone gets their prize one by one and my heart is racing at its fullest speed. One thing I notice is that Aarav ji doesn’t shake hands with any girl. He just gives them their results without even a slight smile and I feel proud of him.

"The third topper is Kia Agarwal" the anchor says and Kia jumps in her place.

"Oh my God I’m the third topper!" she says and I nod before pushing her to go to the stage.

She runs to the stage like a small child and everyone giggles seeing her cuteness. She takes her result from him and smiles widely before showing her result to her parents.

I can see Rahul’s eyes on her the entire time. Man is really in love with my girl, I think, as I see him smiling while looking at her.

"Ok so the second topper is Varun Rai" the anchor says and he goes toward the stage and takes his result.

Now I’m sitting at the edge of my seat either I’m the topper or I failed my exams.

"Ok so now the first topper of our university’s development course is none other than..." the anchor says and pauses, looking at everyone. My breathing stops for a moment.

"It’s Aaradhya Yaduvanshi!" the anchor shouts and I jump from my place hugging Kia.

"Congratulations baby! Go fast" she says and I stand from my place and walk toward the stage. My heartbeat is so fast. I still can’t believe I’m the first topper.

I walk toward Aarav ji who has a wide smile on his face. Seeing him smile like this everyone will know there’s something between us because since the time he came he didn’t smile, and now he is smiling so openly.

I stop in front of him and he hands me my result standing so close to me. I can see my family clapping so hard that their hands are definitely going to hurt after this.

I smile looking at everyone and Maa gives me a flying kiss.

I look in front of the camera for the picture and Aarav ji leans closer and whispers in my ear "Congratulations love. I’ll give you a prize at home for topping your university."

I blush and look down. After the picture gets clicked he extends his hand toward me for a handshake and I can hear gasps from the students.

I shake hands with him and come down from the stage sitting in my place again.

One thing is clear everyone is starting to suspect me now. First Jaye is here whom people know that I'm his sister and now Aarav ji’s smile are giving hints to everyone.

"Oh my God Aaru Baby he shook hands with you but didn’t with any other girl!" Kia says and I suppress my smile.

Lara glares at me but I ignore her.

The function ends after a few minutes and everyone starts leaving.

The family members already leave and now I’m going with Aarav ji.

"Ok, Uncle Aunty I’m leaving" I say and am about to turn but Rahul comes running toward me.

"Congratulations" he says to me but I notice his eyes are on Kia and he’s telling me.

"Do you know him sweetie?" Kia's mother asks and before I can say anything Rahul starts speaking.

"Yes we are good friends. By the way namaste Uncle Aunty" he says and touches their feet. Kia is standing behind smiling shyly.

"Ok we are going. Bye bye" I say quickly and drag Rahul toward our car.

"Hmmm Mr. Romeo" I tease and he looks down for a second before snapping back to his professional self.

He opens the car door for me and I sit inside. As he closes the door I turn toward Aarav ji.

He suddenly smashes his lips on mine kissing me softly. It’s so unexpected that I freeze for a moment but quickly respond back.

"Congratulations jaan" he says breaking the kiss and I smile at him.

"Why didn’t you tell me you were coming here?" I ask as he starts the car.

"Because I wanted to surprise you that’s why" he says and I nod.

"The other family members also came and didn’t tell me" I say and he chuckles.

"Even I didn’t know about it" he says and I smile. I’m about to say something when his phone starts ringing.

"Yes" he answers and then sighs while listening to the other side.

"Wait I’m coming" he says and cuts the call.

"What happened?" I ask looking at him.

"I have to go to the company. Something important needs my attention" he says and I nod.

"Ok then go after dropping me" I say and he nods again.

We reach the mansion and he drops me off. Before leaving, he kisses me—how could he forget that hehe.

I enter the house and…

"Congratulations bhabhi!" my three monkeys shout popping confetti and I look at them surprised.

"Congratulations beta" Maa says kissing my head. One by one everyone congratulates me.

"Where is Aarav?" Chachu asks.

"He had to go for something important" I say and they nod.

"Your papa and chachu also came" Maa says and I nod again.

"By the way you guys didn’t tell me you were coming" I say and they grin.

"We wanted to surprise you that’s why" Riya says and I smile. They start telling me how proud they are because of my achievement.

Aarav's POV

I come back from the company late at night because I had something really important to sort out. It’s already 1 a.m. and she must have fallen asleep by now.

I enter the room and freeze on the spot.

"What is this?" I murmur looking at the entire room decorated with balloons, candles and flowers. In the middle of it all there she is my lady in her glory.

She’s wearing a black saree slightly revealing but I don’t mind as long as no one else gets to see her like this except me.

I walk towards her unable to take my eyes off her and pull her close. My hand finds its place on her bare waist and she smiles innocently. Her smile and her dress are worlds apart.

"Why all this?" I ask burying my face in her neck inhaling her scent.

"I want our relationship to go one step ahead" she says softly and I lift my head to look at her.

"Are you sure?" I ask my voice low because I won’t do anything without her complete assurance.

"Yes Aarav ji. I’m a hundred percent sure" she says her eyes locked with mine.

"Then why are we waiting?" I whisper before claiming her lips in a deep passionate kiss.

Who would tell her that I’ve been waiting for this moment for so many days. I pour all my love into the kiss showing her through it how much she means to me. She smiles against my lips making me lose control.

I remove my tie in between and guide her toward the bed. We fall together my arms around her.

Breaking the kiss I look at her. She’s a beautiful mess....her smudged red lipstick, her heavy breathing, her innocent face.

She grabs my shirt her trembling fingers unbuttoning it and I smirk.

"My baby is desperate" I tease and press my lips to her neck leaving love bites on her soft skin.

She moans softly igniting something primal in me. I remove my shirt and pause looking at her again.

"Are you ready jaan?" I ask needing her final permission.

She nods her face blushing crimson.

"Then let’s start making love and today I'll show you how shameless I'm" I say and cover both of us.

This night we become one...not just in body but in soul. She becomes mine in every way and I become hers. The love bites on her body claim her as mine and the nail marks on my back declare me hers.

We don’t sleep until dawn pouring our love into eachother over and over again. Proving to eachother how deeply we belong together.
