Aaradhya's pov

What should I wear? I don’t have any clothes I mumbled under my breath while searching for a good dress for my first day at work as an intern.

Oh I forgot to tell you! Kia and I got selected at Yaduvanshi Company as interns a week ago and today is my first day. Honestly I’m really nervous.

My identity is now in front of the world and the main thing is I don’t want people to think I’m here just because I’m his wife.

I’ll work hard and prove to everyone that I deserve this job, that I’m capable and that’s why I’m here I thought determined.

"Let’s wear this" I said to myself pulling out a black top and white pants. "I’ll look professional in this hehe" I quickly took a shower and started getting ready.

"What’s my wifey doing?" Aarav ji asked suddenly appearing out of nowhere and hugging me from behind.

"Your wifey is getting ready for her first day of work hubby" I said looking at him through the mirror. He smiled and tightened his hold on my waist.

"Go get ready or you’ll be late for work" I said fastening my watch.

But he shook his head and started placing soft kisses on my neck.

"Aarav ji" I called his name my voice shaky because my neck is so sensitive. His torture is making it hard for me to breathe.

"Hmmm jaan" he responded looking at me through the mirror.

I turned towards him still in his arms and looked into his eyes. His gaze told me his mood wasn’t healthy for either of us right now.

"We’ll be late if you start this again Aarav ji" I said placing my hands on his shoulders.

He smiled innocently.

"Just a quickie" he said his tone like a small pleading child.

"Last night you said the same thing, ‘Just one round jaan and then we’ll sleep’ But your one round turned into eight" I said glaring at him and he pouted.

"It’s not my fault my wife is so hot that I can’t control myself and you were also enjoying it na" he said making me blush as I hit his shoulder lightly.

I looked down my cheeks burning.

"Let’s do a quickie please" he said again his eyes full of pleading innocence.

I smiled at his cuteness circling my arms around his neck and pressing my lips to his. He responded quickly and I couldn’t help but smile during the kiss.

He started leading me toward our bed and...

After our lovemaking session I got ready again because well you know why. This time I wore a black shirt and cream-colored pant.

"Yes make sure everything is perfect" aarav ji said on the call, i watched him coming out of the closet all ready.

He walked toward me with his tie in hand and handed it to me. I took it and started tying it for him. He held me by my waist with one hand while holding his phone in the other.

After we got ready we went downstairs. Everyone was already there almost.

"Good morning" I said and touched the elders’ feet.

"Best of luck to all of you for your first day" Maa said with a warm smile. Actually Riya, Darsh and Raj are also starting at the company today. But Riya is going to work with Jaye.

"Do your best bacchon" Papa said and we all nodded.

"Though we’ll be there don’t expect anything from us because you’re just our employees there nothing more than that" Chachu said and we nodded again.

"And all of you take care of my daughter. I’m not worried about Riya because Jaye is with her but I don’t trust you all" Maa said her tone serious.

Chachu, Papa, Aarav ji, Darsh and Raj looked at Maa with done expressions.

"Take care of yourself" Maa said loudly ignoring their looks and we all nodded before getting into our respective cars.

"Let’s go" I said to Aarav ji as I sat beside him. He started the car and just then my phone rang. I glanced at the screen and saw Kia’s name flashing.

"Hello" I answered hearing her energetic voice on the other side.

"Did you leave your house, Aaru? You know I’m so excited! And the best part is we’re working together. That’s why I’m even more excited! Oh and I’m coming with Rahul" she said everything in one breath, and I couldn’t help but smile.

"Then come straight to the workplace. Don’t go on any date with him" I said laughing and she started giggling.

"When we get our first salary we’ll go on an international trip" she said squealing with happiness and I laughed.

"We’ll go on an international trip with a 25,000 salary?" I said laughing again and she sighed.

"Yeah you’re right" she said sounding disappointed and I smiled.

"The starting salary of interns is 1.5 lakh per month" I suddenly heard Aarav ji’s voice and my mouth hung open.

"Aarav ji is saying our starting salary is 1.5 lakh"

"Rahul is saying our starting salary is 1.5 lakh" Kia and I said together and burst out laughing.

We cut the call and I turned to Aarav ji.

"How rich are you man?" I asked looking at him and he smiled focusing on the road.

"I’m not rich. I’m just a middle-class man my lady" he said and I started laughing.

"If you’re a middle-class man then what am I?" I asked and he placed his hand gently on my thigh.

"You are my queen my lady the richest woman in this entire universe by heart and soul my love" he said making me go "aww."

I pulled his cheek lightly and kissed it.

"Mi Rey I love you" I said softly and I could feel him blush a little.

We reached his company and I took a deep breath before looking at him.

"Bye-bye hubby and be professional at the workplace" I reminded him and he nodded with a pout.

"Wait you’re forgetting something" he said pulling me toward him.

I knew what he was asking for so I pressed my lips to his kissed him slowly and then pulled away. But I saw him smirking.

"I was saying you’re forgetting your mobile jaan" he said and I felt embarrassed.

I quickly took my phone and ran out of the car.

As soon as I stepped out my mouth hung open. The entire building was shining and at the top of the building it said

Welcome Jaan.

"Oh my god he’s too much" I mumbled, but I couldn’t stop smiling. I turned toward him and saw him grinning at me.

"Hi" I heard Kia’s voice and she gave me a teasing smile.

"Welcome Jaan" she said and I blushed.

I entered the building with her and made my way toward the area where all the interns were seated. Aarav ji walked in from behind and went straight to the lift flashing a small smile at me on the way.

Others started whispering when they saw me. Of course I am not just any normal girl—I am the company owner’s wife.

I looked around and got amazed. Everything was decorated so beautifully some with flowers some with stunning art pieces.

"good morning everyone. We’re all so happy to welcome you to our company" one of the seniors said politely.

"As you all know you’ll be working in your respective faculties. You have six months to learn under your seniors’ guidance and those who perform the best will get promoted to a higher position" he explained smiling warmly.

After explaining he began assigning us to our departments and introducing our teams.

We reached the 30th floor where we would be working.

There were five of us interns—three girls and two boys. Our senior was a man around 26 years old, cute and jolly to be honest. He explained everything to us with so much excitement and one thing I noticed was how passionate he is about his work.

"So these are your desks" he said showing us to our workstations. We all sat in our respective places.

"Today you all have to go through the files already placed on your tables and prepare a small report based on the information in them. Everyone got that?" he asked looking at us.

We all nodded.

"All the best everyone" he said and we all passed him a smile.

"Oh my God Aaru look! He’s so cute na" Kia whispered opening her file and I hit her lightly.

"Focus on your work and don’t forget who you belong to" I said and she grinned.

"I was just telling" she said and started working.

We all were focused on our work and I must say every employee here is so multi-talented and kind-hearted. They help each other with open hearts.

It is lunchtime and I had completed almost half of my file.

"Let’s go eat something. I’m really hungry" Kia said as she saw everyone leaving for the office pantry. I nodded closed my file and got up to leave.

"You know they provide free food for employees and the menu is just awesome" Kia said and honestly I didn’t know this before.

"There are chefs from all around the world and the food here is amazing" she added and I looked at her wondering how she knew all this.

"Hehe actually I’m a foodie na so my feed is full of this. One day I saw a video about their company and the food reviews" she explained and I nodded.

As we entered the pantry I couldn’t believe my eyes. No one would call this a pantry it looked like a five-star hotel.

"Let’s sit there" Kia said and was about to take me to a table but we both stopped as our phones rang.

"Hello... yes okay I’m coming" I said to Aarav ji who was calling me to have lunch with him. I looked at Kia but she spoke before me.

"Rahul wants me to have lunch with him" she said shyly and I smiled.

"Same here. Aarav ji wants me to eat with him" I said and we both left the canteen making our way to the 45th floor.

Actually, no one is allowed there except people permitted by Aarav ji or Rahul.

As we stepped out of the lift my mouth hung open again. I swear my mouth is going to hurt today because of this.

"Hi" we heard Rahul’s voice. He looked at Kia and she grinned.

"Let’s go to my cabin and Ma’am sir is calling you inside" he said and I nodded making my way toward Aarav ji’s office.

I entered without knocking it’s my husband’s office, after all.

"Welcome jaan" he said as soon as I stepped in and suddenly flower petals started falling from above.

I smiled looking at the petals and Aarav ji stood in front of me smiling too.

"Why this?" I asked and he held my hand guiding me to his chair and making me sit there.

"Because my queen has entered my office for the first time and now I know I’ll reach the highest star of success because you’re my lucky charm" he said making my heart swell with happiness.

He leaned on the table and I smiled looking up at him.

"Hmm so you did all this for me. What do you want in return?" I asked and his eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Will you give me anything I ask for?" he said and I nodded.

"Okay then I’ll ask when the time is right. Let’s have lunch first you must be hungry" he said and we walked toward the table which was filled with delicious food.

"Do you like the office?" he asked and I nodded.

"I like everything about your company literally everything!" I said in an excited tone.

He smiled and passed me morsels of food while I ate talking nonstop about how amazing everyone was at the company and how they treated newcomers with so much respect.

Aarav's POV

My baby is happy working here and what else can I ask for? She is genuinely happy and I can see it on her face. I’m feeding her with my hand.

"You also eat na" she says and starts feeding me with her hands.

"And you know our leader? He is so cute and perfect" she says forwarding another morsel toward me but I stop and look into her eyes. I don’t like it her praising another man.

I lean toward her and she backs into the sofa.

"What did you say wifey? Repeat it again" I ask hovering slightly over her and she gulps.

"I w…was just saying he is pe…perfect in his work and nothing else" she says stuttering and I caress her head.

"I don’t like it when you praise someone else in front of me especially a man" I say and she nods.

I sit back and she straightens up. I’m still jealous or you can say I’m burning inside because of it. She forwards another morsel toward me but I shake my head.

"Yeah don’t be a jelly jelly naa. He’s like my brother and everyone knows I belong to you. I’m Aaradhya Aarav Yaduvanshi" she says looking at me but I’m still not convinced.

"I’m sorry my hubby. I love you only and you are my everything" she says and kisses my cheek several times before starting to tickle me. I start giggling.

"You are mine only" I say and she nods before pecking my lips.

After we finish lunch she goes back to her floor. I sit there watching her through the camera I set up on her desk. Don’t think I’m a creep I just want to see my baby, that’s all.

She is hardworking I can see that.

"Aarav focus on your work also" I remind myself. I know my baby is more important than my work but I have to earn money for our mini version.
