First of all I'm really sorry for being late. I wanted to upload some videos for the chapter but Wattpad doesn't allow videos which caused the delay. I apologize for that ❤️

Jaye's POV

"Wouldn't you listen to your mother?" Maa said gently creasing my head as I rested it on her lap. I smile seeing how much she is insisting.

"Maa but I already made my house" I said trying to reason with her because I didn't want this toxic society to say anything to my love, that even after marriage, she's living with her family.

"Aren't we your family huh? If Riya is my daughter then you are Bhabhi's son. Why can't you understand this little thing?" Chachi said and hit me hard on my back.

"But I'm not your real son na" I said without thinking and regretted it immediately.

Maa's eyes filled with tears and the room went silent. Her hand which was lovingly creasing my head stopped.

"I di... didn't mean... th... that" I stammered sitting up. She looked down trying to control her tears.

"I'm really sorry that I couldn't give you a mother's love. I'm sorry I didn't treat you equally like Aarav, Darsh and Raj. I'm sorry for making you feel like a stranger" she said her words hitting me hard. I had hurt her with my words.

"Please don't say that Maa. I'm sorry" I said hugging her tightly. "I'll live here only. Please don't cry. I didn't mean it" I added looking at her.

"Really?" she and Chachi asked together hope shining in their eyes.

"Really. I'll stay here in my house, with my family" I said. Maa kissed my forehead and I truly felt her motherly love.

They both left and I lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. I was lucky to have them. They never made me feel like I wasn't their real son. The love they gave me was out of this world.

My phone rang and I saw my sweetheart's name flashing on the screen. I picked up placing it to my ear only to hear her tired voice.

"You're so bad. I hate you. You made me addicted to sleeping with you. Now I can't sleep without you" she said her voice laced with frustration. I smirked. This was exactly what I wanted.

"I'm sorry love but Maa strictly told us not to meet each other alone till the wedding" I said giving her a reason and heard her sigh.

"Are you ready to handle Riya Yaduvanshi?" she asked teasing me and I could feel her playful smile even without seeing her.

"I'm all ready love. Just waiting for the day you'll become mine" I said and she laughed softly.

"Witch open the door!" I heard her friend shouting in the background.

"Bye. I'm going to sleep with my girl" she said quickly and cut the call.

I shook my head smiling. Their friendship was really next level

Next Day

Aaradhya's POV

"I checked everything Maa and all the guest rooms are ready. Also I've put all the gifts in their rooms" I said looking at the list of guests to see how many were left to arrive.

"My baby thank you so much for all this" Maa said and kissed my forehead.

"Maa please don't say that" I said and she smiled. Just then we heard Chachi coming, laughing loudly.

"Mitali aren't you sad that your daughter is getting married?" Maa teased Chachi and she giggled.

"Now it's Jaye's time to be sad not mine" Chachi said and we burst out laughing.

"I'm not worried about her because I know my daughter is in safe hands. Parents cry because they don't know how their daughter's life partner is going to be. But I know he's a gem. He'll take even better care of her than we did" Chachi said and we nodded. She is right.

"Is everything done?" we heard Kajal Di's voice. She walked toward us and sat on the couch.

"Yes everything is done for the sangeet" I replied and she smiled.

"Aunty you're so lucky to have this cutie as your daughter-in-law" she said pinching my cheeks and I smiled.

"No you're wrong. She's not my daughter-in-law she's my daughter" Maa said and I giggled.

"Aunty I checked the menu and everything is done" Kia said sitting on the couch beside me. She is really working hard.

"Thank you my baby" Chachi said and Kia smiled.

"Where is Rahul?" I whispered to her and she shrugged.

"He must be with Aarav and Jaye Jiju" she said and I nodded.

"Aaruu, Aarav Uncle is calling you!" I heard Rohan's voice as he came downstairs eating a chocolate bar.

I got up to leave for the room but stopped when I heard the ladies talking.

"Don't do too much work with Aarav you'll get tired" Kajal Di said and my cheeks turned a deep shade of red. Everyone started laughing as I quickly left for our room smiling.

As soon as I entered the room I saw Aarav Ji sitting on the bed pouting. I walked toward him and he looked up at me his chin wobbling, a small tear in his eye. He looked so cute.

"What happened my baby?" I asked holding his cheek and he pointed at his lips.

"You didn't give me my morning kiss" he said pouting and I chuckled at his dramatic acting. He's fake crying because I didn't kiss him in the morning.

"Aarav Ji you're crying over such a small reason?" I said shaking my head but he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.

"This is not a small reason. I didn't get a kiss from my wife. I might die because of that and you're calling it a small reason?" he said and I hit him lightly on the chest.

"Okay I'll give you a kiss but you have to find your name in my hand" I said showing him my mehndi. The color was really dark (darker than your future 😏)

He pulled me onto his lap holding my waist tightly. He took my hand in his and started searching for his name in the design.

"But what will I get in return?" he asked with a smirk and I smiled.

"You'll only get your morning kiss Aarav Ji" I said teasing him and he gave me a determined look as if he'd win for sure.

"Your mehndi color is so dark. That means I love you with all my heart right?" he asked pretending to believe in all this things and I nodded laughing softly. I knew he didn't believe in such things.

"I don't think you even told the artist to write my name" he said completely focused on finding his name.

"I have your name in my design and if you can't find it then forget about the kiss" I said crossing my arms and he shook his head firmly.

"I'll find it just wait" he said determined as ever.

"Yeahhhh! Here is my name!" he said excitedly showing me where my mehndi had his name. It was written on my ring finger hidden in the intricate design.

"Now give me my morning kiss" he said looking at me with anticipation. I smiled cupping his face and pressed my lips to his.

He held my waist tightly kissing me passionately. He bit my lips softly before slipping his tongue into my mouth exploring it with fervor. I felt like I was on cloud nine.

He caressed my back but I tapped his shoulder because I was out of breath. He pulled back and I gasped for air while he looked perfectly normal.

He smiled cheekily brushing his thumb across my lips.

"Let's go downstairs for lunch" I said trying to calm myself but he smirked.

"Let's eat each other instead of food" he said and I hit his shoulder, quickly getting off his lap.

"You stay here. I'm going downstairs to eat with Rohan" I said laughing, and ran out of the room.

I could hear him running after me muttering "You're eating with Rohan? Really?"

I couldn't believe it. He is jealous of a little kid.

At night

Everyone is ready and sitting in the garden. There is a stage set up in the middle and the place looks magical with lights and decorations. Everyone is seated in their places looking so beautiful and excited.

"Hello everyone and welcome to Riya and Jaye's wedding!" Darsh says into the mic standing on the stage. I look around searching for Aarav Ji but he's nowhere to be seen.

"So tonight is the sangeet function. Please stay seated because the bride's and groom's families are going to rock the stage!" he announces energetically and everyone cheers loudly.

"Where is Aarav Ji?" I ask Rahul.

"He's coming. Just got stuck in some urgent work" he says and I nod.

"Okay then! The first performance is by the bride and groom's brothers" Darsh announces. The lights go off and everyone claps excitedly.

Video 2 and 3

My mouth falls open as I see Aarav Ji and my devars dancing on the stage. They are setting the stage on fire with their moves completely owning the moment. The performance ends and everyone claps and whistles. Papa showers money on them blessing them.

"You all danced like monkeys!" Riya shouts from her seat and everyone bursts into laughter.

"Because we are your brothers that's why!" Aarav Ji replies sticking his tongue out at her playfully.

Aarav Ji comes to sit beside me and I look at him.

"Where were you since the evening?" I ask curious.

"I was busy with some urgent work. I'm really sorry. And by the way you're looking so hot babe" he says scanning me from head to toe and I blush.

"Thank you. And you danced so well" I say and he bows dramatically.

"I know. Yaduvanshi brothers kill the stage" darsh says confidently.

"And now the next performance is by the bridesmaids!" Darsh announces and everyone claps. I stand up to go to the stage but Aarav Ji pulls me back by my wrist.

"What happened?" I ask confused.

"Why are you wearing a backless blouse?" he asks frowning and I chuckle. Thank God he didn't see me earlier or he wouldn't have let me wear it.

"It's fashion Aarav Ji. And remember I'm only yours" I say smiling and run towards the stage to perform my dance.

Video 4

As I finish my dance Maa comes to me rounds money over my head for blessings and kisses my forehead. I smile and go back to my place sitting beside Aarav Ji.

"Wow wifey you looked so hot and beautiful while dancing" he says and I blush at his words.

"Girls are killing the stage but sadly they're both taken. I don't have a chance with them" Darsh says from the stage making everyone laugh.

"You're right uncle!" Rohan shouts and Aarav Ji and Rahul glare at him.

"Cutie" I call out trying to calm Rohan but stop when I see Aarav Ji's intense gaze on me. Jealous man.

"The next performance is by the bride's brother and the groom's sister!" Darsh announces and the lights go off.

I run to the stage and as the lights come back on, I see everyone's shocked faces watching me, Darsh and Raj standing together.

Video 5

As we finish dancing Aarav Ji comes onto the stage throws money over the three of us and takes our evil eyes off. The crowd cheers loudly.

"Wow Bhabhi you killed those moves!" Riya shouts and I smile.

"She's my sister that's why!" Jaye says proudly and I giggle.

"Okay so the next performance is by the bride's and groom's friends!" Darsh announces and the lights go off again. When they come on Kia and Rahul are on stage ready to perform.

Video 6

Their performance ends and Riya and Jaye clap loudly shouting "You both did so well!"

"Now I'm feeling so single. But no worries my Maa and Chachi are already searching a girl for me" Darsh says making the guests giggle at his cuteness.

"Now we'll see the performance of the bride's brother and the groom's sister!" Darsh announces again. Aarav Ji and I run toward the stage.

Part 7

As our performance ends the crowd claps loudly praising us for looking so beautiful together.

"The last performance of this evening is by our bride and groom! So please clap with all your energy for Riya and Jaye!" Darsh announces and everyone hoots and cheers for the couple.

Video 8

Riya and Jaye dance so beautifully and the way Jaye shows his love for Riya through his actions is heartwarming. Everyone claps and cheers for them. After all the performances it's time for dinner.

"Why didn't you guys perform?" I ask Maa, Papa, Chachu and Chachi as we sit down to eat.

"We're getting old and we don't have that much energy" Papa says and I nod.

"I'm not old! I just didn't dance because I didn't want people to think I'm the bride's sister" Maa says making everyone laugh.

"Why are you walking behind me?" I ask Aarav Ji noticing how he's been trailing me the entire time.

"Because you're wearing a backless blouse and I don't want anyone to see your back. Only I know how much I controlled myself during the entire performance" he says and I shake my head in disbelief.

"Aarav Ji it's normal and I'm only yours. Everyone knows this" I say but he stays stubborn walking right behind me.

"Riya Jaye have your dinner and go to your rooms after that. You'll be really tired tomorrow" Chachi says eating her food.

"Okay we'll go" Jaye replies and we all finish our food. By the time the guests leave we're completely exhausted. Only a few relatives are staying in the house for the night.

"Please come to the wedding tomorrow" I say to one of our relatives as they bid goodbye. Once they leave I turn around and face Aarav Ji.

"Aarav Ji you followed me the entire function. Now everyone is gone" I say, glaring at him but he stays silent.

"Aaradhya Aarav you both should go and sleep. It's really late" Maa says as she heads to her room and I nod.

"Let's go" Aarav Ji says taking my hand and leading me to our room.

The moment we enter the room he smashes his lips on mine taking me by surprise. The kiss is full of urgency leaving me breathless.

"What happened?" I ask when he finally pulls away.

"I want you love and your blouse isn't helping either" he says his voice low, before claiming my lips again. And the rest you all know. 😉
