Chapter 28

2 weeks pass by

I woke up to ashton crying.

“Its okay mommy is here” i said to him and sat up in bed and picked him up and rocked him slowly back to sleep.

Its been 2 weeks since i was kidnapped. When i told star who had kidnapped me she was shocked. Cole and liam and carter have been working on plans on how to attack them for 2 weeks and today is the day we attack.

Cole had found their location, its only about 4 hours away from here. And we had found out that there is a spy with us aswell that is helping alpha jack. We havn’t found out who it is yet.

I put ashton back on the bed and got up. Just then cole came into the room.

“Were going to head out in an hour” he said and pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arms around my waist.

“I’m coming as well” i said to him

“Baby we have been through this before. I want you to be safe at home” he said signing

“No cole i want come. Let me come or i won’t let you sleep with me for a month” i said smirking at him

“What no. Skylar you can’t come its going to be dangerous” he said signing

“Oh so you don’t want to sleep with me. Okay fine” i said and removed his arms and walked to the closet.

He held my hand and pulled me back to him so my back was on his chest.

“Thats not what i meant baby. You can come with me but you have to be careful. You understand right” he said trailing kisses on my neck

“Thank you and yeh” i said to him and went to the bathroom. Cole started follewing me but i closed the door on his face and locked it.

“Oh come on skylar let me in” he said banging on the door

“No way cole. You can look after ashton” i said and turned the shower on

I had a shower and when i was done i wrapped a towel around myself and walked out to see an empty room. I went to the closet and picked out a tank top and leggings. When i was done i dried my hair with a towel and left it in waves and went downstairs to the kitchen.

“Morning star” i said hugging her

“Morning” she said and hugged me back

I pulled away from her to see a mark on her neck.

“Omg he marked you.” I said excitedly

“Yeh” she said blushing

“Oooooooo” i said just as bethany came downstairs rubbing her eyes.

“Mommy why are you so happy” she asked sitting down on a stool.

“I don’t know. Anyways do you want pancakes” i asked her

“Chocolate chip” she asked

“Chocolate chips it is then” i said and started making them.

“Hey star can you look after bethany and ashton for me today.” I asked her and gave bethany her plate of pancakes.

“Yeh but why” she said

“I’m goung with cole” i said just as liam came running into the room with carter.

“Were under attack.” Carter said

“I grabbed bethany hand and in the other hand she had her plate of pankcakes.

She doesn’t care if shes under attack. A girl has got to eat i thought and gave her to star.

“Get get to the safe house” i said and star went with bethany

“Where is cole and ashton” i asked liam

“He was taking ashton to the safe house and told us to meet at the front” liam said walking out the front door.

“Who is attacking us. God we have to get to alpha jack” i said signing

“It is alpha jack who is coming. Someone told them that we were going to come so they attacked early” carter said.

Just then cole came walking towards me with the rest of the pack behind him.

“You promise to be careful right” cole said pecking my lips and held my hand

“I promise” i said and he nodded and turned to the rest of the pack

“Ok everyone knows what to do right. Just give it your best and if any of you die tonight that will be because of protecting your pack and i will be proud of all you. Leave alpha jack to me. And we will find out who the spy is today. It might be you or you or even you ashley” he said pointing at different people.

Why did ashley go pale i thought

Forget that. So here is the plan. Don’t shift so we can use the powers together. Only shift when its an emergency kira said to me

Got it i said nodding to her.

“Right everyone. Into positions.” Cole said and everyone moved around in a few seconds. At the front in 10, were the strongest male then were the females.

“Remember that your alpha is proud of you nor matter what” cole said.

“And your luna” i shouted out and everyone started laughing

“Your alpha and your luna. Your whole pack would be. Now shift” cole said to everyone and they shifted. They clothes were ripped into pieces and in front of me was about 300 to 350 wolves.

Wow

“You promise right” cole said turning to me just as we could see the other pack coming. Well i could see with my eyes.

“I promise. I’ll stay with carter” i said to him and pecked his lips and hugged him tightly.

“Ok” he mumbled and sniffed my neck.

“Ok love birds you might want to break this up now. They are here” carter said and i pulled away from cole. Cole and liam walked to the front of the pack and i stayed at the back with carter.

Alpha jack came walking out of the forest with about 300 rouges behind him.

More rouges. God i thought

“All we want is skylar and her friend the fire guy” alpha jack said standing in the clearing 6 feet away from us.

“Over my dead body. Your not going to take my mate” cole said glaring at the guy.

“Well we will make sure that happens and we found out that the air element is in your pack as well. Well haven’t you made a hatrick. Having all the elements. Don’t worry alpha damien were going to take them all” jack said

“How did you know we have the air element. What if we don’t cole said to alpha jack

“Oh our lovely spy had told us.” Alpha jack said just as ashley walked forward towards alpha jacks side.

No wonder she didn’t shift. The fake barbie is the spy. You could have figured it out ages ago skylar i thought to myself

“Ashley” cole said shocked

“Yeh its me no biggy. You promised me the luna tittle and when you find your mate its all gone. No promise left, nothing. And i want a luna tittle and alpha jack here has promised me the luna tittle. I reject my mate for you cole. For you, for the luna tittle.” She screamed at cole

She had found her mate i thought shocked.

“But you havn’t found your mate” cole asked confused

“Liam the beta, your best friend was my mate” she said signing

“Liam” i said whispering

No wonder he is so stuck up. I thought

I didn’t mean it like that. I meant that your no fun. You never smile or anything. But i’m going to fix that aftef this fight. I’m going to find you a mate not a slut i said to him and he mentally signed and nodded

“Ok enough about mates. God i rejected my mate for skylar. Its not big deal. I’m going to get skylar” jack said and shifted into a big dark brown wolf.

“Over my fucking dead body” cole said and shifted into his big black wolf and growled.. He was a little taller than jack.

He growled, what are you waiting for start then or i will take full control kira said to me

Oh shit yeh sorry i thought and ran after carter.

I could already see that our pack had started fighting. Carter and me were not allowed to shift because of our powers. We won’t be able to use them then.

While i was running after carter 3 rouges came running behind me.

I stopped and turned around and put my hand up and thought of fire.

I put my hand in frony of them and used fite to burn them

Sorry i thought and turned around to see carter nowhere.

Shit carter where are you i mindlinked him but it was blocked

Oh well i thought and stopped running. I looked around to see if anyone need my help.

I saw 2 wolves on liam and another coming from behind him and ran to him.

I thought of water and sprayed the rouged behind him just as liam ripped out the hearts of the others. Liam, well his wolf looked up at me and nodded at me.

I just smiled and ran to help someone else.

After helping a few people i was tired so i leaned against a tree to catch my breath.

“Cole didn’t give me the luna tittle because of you. What have you got that i haven’t” ashley said walking infront of me

“Why did you reject liam. Just for the luna tittle. Come on ashley, you could have been the beta female and have a mate who would love you” i said to her signing

“You don’t understand do you. You have everything given to you on a gold plate, and now your a luna aswell. I want all of that as well” she said shouting at me

“Well you can’t because i’m the luna” i said to her

“Not if i kill you” she said and shifted into her blonde colour wolf and came charging at me and bit me in the leg.

Woah that happened really fast i thought

I kicked her a few times to let me go but she wouldn’t. I thought of fire and burnt a little of her fire and she jumped away and she howled a little.

“You do not touch me. Do you understand” i said to her and she came charging at me again.

I put a fire wall around her so she won’t be able to get out.

“I’m not going to kill you ashley. I’m not like you and your liams mate so i’m going to let him decide” i said and walked away. I looked at my leg to see it was bitten and blood was coming out. I looked up to see cole fighting with alpha jack and 3 other wolf runing towards him.

Sorry kira i need to shift now i said and shifted into my white tiger. I ran as fast as i could with a bitten leg towards to the 3 rouges running towards cole.

They stopped and looked at me. One of them came charging at me and tried to bite my neck but i bit his neck and he fell to the floor.

The other 2 rouges came at once at me. One of them came from behind but i kicked him away and he fell to the floor. The other bit me in the shoulder and i growled a little. I shook him away and he fell to the floor. I ran to him and ripped his neck off and he died instantly.

Just then another rouge came and bit me in in the leg. A full hard bite. And it killed. I howled loudly and i saw that cole had killed alpha jack and came running towards the rouges and killed him instantly.

I fell to the floor and shifted back. I was in my clothes though.

Cole shifted and liam came with some shorts and he wore them.

“Skylar oh god your losing a lot of blood. I told you to stay with carter” cole said removing hair from my face and put my head on his lap

“I was but then i lost him” i said breathing heavily

“You promised me skylar baby” cole said and picked me up bridal style and ran to the pack house

“Rebecca” cole shouted calling our pack doctor.

“Alpha shes in the safe house. Carter has gone to bring them out” liam said

“Tell him to hurry up” cole shouted and liam mindlinked carter.

“Liam... ashley she is a fire wall. It will go in a minute or so. Go talk to her. She will need it” i said to liam and he ran out.

“Sky baby don’t close your eyes come on. Baby you promised me” cole said and laid me down on the sofa and held my face.

“I.. love.. you cole” i said before i drifted off to darkness
