Chapter 5

Skylar’s P.O.V.:

I just loved the way he called me ‘love’. I didn’t care that he is the strongest Alpha or the meanest. He is my mate and the Moon Goddess put us together for a reason. I know, I’m a tiger shifter, but I’m similar to a werewolf, just have stronger senses. So yeah, I have a mate, as well.

“What’s your name, Alpha Damien?” I questioned, because nobody really knows his name, besides his pack.

“Cole,” he replied, pulling me to the sofa in his office. Sitting down first, he then pulled me on his lap. “Baby, what’s your rank?” he suddenly asked.

Weird, I’m sure this is the part where he kisses me.

Is he shy? Don’t worry Cole, I’ll do it first. I thought

“Omega,” I said and leaned in to kiss him.

He froze and looked at me in the eyes “Stop,” he said and I halted, as well.

“What? Why?” I begged. I stood up, looking down at him puzzled.

“I can’t do this.” He stated, standing up and towering me. Is he Bipolar? I thought

“But why? We are mates,” I responded.

“You’re an Omega, and weak. Plus, I can’t smell if you’re a shifted wolf. Have you shifted?” he inquired.

“No,” I replied.

“See, you’re weak. I can’t do this, leave,” he ordered, going to his chair and sitting down. It literally broke my heart, when he said ‘leave’ to me.

I shuffled out the door and softly closed it behind me. I dried my tears.

Hey Kira, are you okay? I asked her.

Yeah, I’m fine. Just going to rest she said and I mentally nodded.

Walking back to the kitchen, I saw Liam.

“Hey, Blondie,” I said.

“Blondie? No, it’s Liam,” he answered, turning towards me.

“Whatever, can you show me where the Omega rooms are?” I requested.

“Won’t you be staying with cole now? As you’re the Luna,” he asked, perplexed.

“Oh, forget that guy. He doesn’t want me. Now, can you show me?” I asked, annoyed. He nodded and I followed him to a door at the back of the Pack House. “Thank you, good night,” I told him.

Nodding he left. I opened the door, to see a very big room with five beds in it and three doors. Walking in, I went over to where Star was. I slowly walked to her trying, to scare her.

“Nice try, Sky. Remember, I’m a wolf,” she stated, getting up from her bed. The others were already asleep.

“Oh shit, I forgot,” I replied, slapping my forehead.

“Don’t curse,” Star said.

“Habit,” I responded, jumping on my bed.

“Where were you?” She suddenly inquired.

“Nowhere, I just forgot something. You know how I am,” I said, avoiding eye contact.

“Sure,” she said, clearly not believing me.

“I promise. Hey, I was thinking we could go shopping tomorrow. You up for it?” I asked her.

She nodded and smile at me “Goodnight, Sky,” she said, laying down.

“Night,” I said and shut the lights off and got under the covers.

Tomorrow, I’m going to make Cole jealous. I thought.

You’re right girl Kira said.

Good night Kira, I replied, laughing at her mentally.

Night, she answered, before I drifted off to sleep.
