Chapter Eighteen.

Leon

Jennifer stiffened as my fangs pierced her skin. I could literally feel a scream coming up from her throat but only a moan came out of her mouth. Her hands that were gripping my hair tightened, keeping my head where it was against her neck.

"Leon." She groaned and that's when I decided it was enough. I retracted my fangs from her neck and cleaned up the blood that had escaped from the marking. I placed a kiss to the place I had marked her, causing another moan to come from her.

Howls echoed from everywhere and a smile came in my lips. Jennifer's head dropped to my shoulder and I pulled back, taking her in my arms instead.

"Are you tired?" I asked softly, brushing her hair away from her face. She nodded.

"I don't know why but yes." She whispered back and I chuckled.

"Would you like to sleep here with me tonight?" I asked her a little warily. Jennifer looked up at me in surprise.

"But Bella..."

"Will be fine." I said but she hesitated.

"Okay." She whispered and I smiled brightly.

"Okay."

I don't know why, but the next morning I woke up feeling like I had had the best sleep in years. That was, until I remembered last night's events. I could feel soft breaths hitting my chest as a hand lay near the head, curled up as it rested on my chest. My arms were wrapped around the waist, pulling my mate even closer to me when I woke up.

She stirred slightly but didn't wake up. If anything, she cuddled closer to me. I smiled and let my fingers softly caress her soft cheeks. Using my index finger, I trailed my finger from her cheeks to her jaw, down even more to the hollow beneath her neck before brushing it towards the left. My fingers then traced the mark that had inked itself on her neck. I titled my head slightly, frowning when I saw what had formed.

It was a wolf that looked like it was staring at you. It was a normal thing which got inked to many, I mean the wolf design, but this one had a crown floating above the head.

Never in my life had I seen a marking like this. I brushed the mark with my fingers, lost in thoughts so much that I didn't realise that Jennifer was waking up. My attention snapped to her when she shivered. Her eyes fluttered before parting slightly. She was looking around confused, but then her head turned towards me.

"Good morning, mate." I said softly as I let my hand cup her face, my thumb brushing her cheek. Jennifer blushed brightly but smiled.

"Good morning." She whispered. I smiled and she gasped when I rolled us, trapping her under me. I leaned down to kiss her, but her hand came up just as our lips were a few centimeters away. It made me frown. "Morning breath." She said and I chuckled in understanding. I pulled her hand away and then smiled.

"I don't care." I whispered and let our lips finally touch. I made the kiss slow so that she wasn't overwhelmed and only deepened it when her hands pulled me closer to her.

"Daddy, have-"

I immediately pulled away from Jennifer, rolling to my side of the bed but I wasn't quick enough. Bella was looking at us with wide eyes as she stood on the threshold of my door, her hand still clutching the doorknob.

"Bella-" Jennifer got cut off when Bella squealed. She ran over to us and jumped on the bed before tackling me down on the bed. But I winced when the back of my head hit the headboard instead.

"You're going to be my daddy, aren't you? My real daddy." Bella said excitedly and I chuckled.

"Easy, Bella. Easy." I said as I sat up properly, her sitting on my lap as she looked up at me with her eyes gleaming.

"You are, aren't you, daddy?" She asked again, this time, the gleam in her eyes dimmed slightly.

"If you and your mother want me to be." I said. As if they have a choice now. My wolf said for the first time since last night but I ignored him. I only focused on Bella who was grinning madly up at me.

"I do! I want you to be my real daddy." She said and I smiled. Bella turned to Jennifer then "Don't you, Mommy?" She asked and Jennifer blushed.

That would be too kinky. Jennifer said in her mind but I guessed she didn't know that our mind link was stronger, more open now. I couldn't help it and burst out laughing.

"Indeed, it will be. But I won't mind if you don't." I said and Jennifer blushed redder than ever before. I laughed again. "I'm joking." I said but got lightly punched on my shoulder.

"Mommy?" Bella asked again and Jennifer gave her a small smile, blushing even more.

"I want him to be your real daddy too, Bella." Jennifer said and I smiled at her. Bella cheered excitedly and wrapped her arms around my neck. I froze in surprise when she placed a sloppy kiss on my cheek

"I'm never letting you go, daddy." She said and hugged me tightly. I smiled and hugged her back.

"Me neither, princess." I said but then pulled back slightly. "What were you asking me anyway?" I asked and Bella shrugged.

"I was looking for mommy. I'm hungry." She said and I chuckled.

"Let's get some breakfast in that stomach of yours." I said and tickled her. She giggled and then pulled away to get down from the bed. Jennifer and I were quick to follow.

All three of us froze in surprise as we reached the bottom of the stairs. Most of the pack (what could crowd the living room) were all looking at us with excited smiles on their faces. And the smiles only widened when they smelled Jennifer's scent mixed with mine. As well as saw my mark on her neck.

"Welcome to the pack officially as our Luna, Luna." That all chimed together and I smiled while Jennifer blushed. I could see mom running up to us excitedly and she crushed Jennifer in a huge hug.

"Oh, I'm so glad my son has finally marked you! I'm so excitedly to have you as my daughter in law. But we have got to talk about those grandpups. How soo-"

"Mom!"

"Charlotte!"

Dad and I exclaimed together and mom looked at us with a raised eyebrow.

"Take it easy, mom. I've just marked her. Mating will take time." I said and she frowned but Alicia ran up and hugged Jennifer just as tight, ignoring the look mom was giving her.

"I'll finally have a sister! You have no idea how boring and utterly annoying it was to have a brother like Leon. He's no fun." Alicia said and Jennifer chuckled while I pouted. I shook my head and looked around at the crowd, spotting the person I was searching for.

"Melody." I called and the omega stepped up.

"Yes, Alpha?" She asked a little hesitantly.

"Can we have our breakfast prepared? Bella is hungry." I said and Melody nodded with a small smile.

"Of course." She said and went towards the kitchen, parting through the crowd.

"Maybe we should come by midday." Someone said and the others nodded in agreement. They all congratulated us before leaving the mansion, letting us have our breakfast in peace.

"Can I have extra chocolate, Melody!?" Bella asked excitedly as she followed Melody into the kitchen.

"Of course." I heard Melody reply but I was distracted when I felt a hand pat my shoulder.

"I'm proud of you, son." Dad said and I smiled.

"Thanks, dad." I said and arm wrapped around my neck tightly, slightly chocking me.

"Welcome to the club, bro! High time you joined us!" Andrew said but I pulled away from his hold with a chuckle.

"I know, right?" I said and both him and dad laughed.

Alpha, I'm sorry to disturb you but we have found a rogue on the territory. James' voice came through the mind link and I sighed.

You know what to do. I said but I felt some hesitation come from the mind link. What is it?

It's a mother and son pair, Alpha. He said and I felt my eyebrows raise in surprise. The mother is saying that she's just crossing our lands trying to get away from her old pack, the Dark Moon. I felt a growl forming in my throat.

The Dark Moon pack was dangerous. Their Alpha was very cruel and hated on by other Alpha's. He treated the pack as if it was the dust beneath his shoes. They didn't even show mercy to the kids. He had any child killed who offended him or simply just annoyed him. I could understand why that mother was running away with her pup.

Bring them in. I'd like to talk to them. I said.

Yes, Alpha... Congratulations, by the way, Lee. He said and I smiled.

As kids, James never called me Leon. It was always Lee.

Thank you, James. I said and then felt him cut the mind link.

"Leon?" Jennifer's voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I gave her a small smile when I saw her coming towards me.

"I'm alright. We've got guests coming. A mother and son running from the Dark Moon." I said and the wolves apart from Bella growled. We all loathed the Dark Moon. Even though we had tried to find evidence that could overthrow the Alpha, he had managed to make the. All disappear, as well as he covered his tracks really well. So the Elders had no choice but to leave him as the Alpha of the pack.

"Alpha, congratulations." Frank said as he entered the mansion and I smiled, wrapping my arm around Jennifer's waist who blushed at the unexpected action.

"Thank you, Frank." I said and he smiled.

"Where is our little pup?" He asked and we chuckled then pointed towards the kitchen.

"Isabella!" I heard Melody exclaim and Bella ran in with a laugh. She had chocolate syrup dripping from the corner of her mouth, the syrup bottle in her hand. We all laughed at Bella's antics but a throat clearing made us all look up.

James stood there with a woman. She had back hair and ice blue eyes that were wide in fear. Her hand was clutching her sons who looked no more than eight years old. He had his mother's back hair but emerald green eyes. They both looked tired but stood their ground in front of us. Their clothes were dirtied and torn from various places but before I could even say a word, two voices growled.

"Mine!"
