37. LET'S GO HOME

I woke up and found myself sleeping on couch in hall. I felt disappointed. Whenever I sleeps at unusual places Faisal used to carry me and tuck me in bed. But today......

-"Faisal!" I shouted.

"Faisal where......" Realisation hit me and I remembered that he is not here.

"I miss you Mr. Grumpy." I said sadly and got up from couch.

I took a bath and my mobile phone rang. It's an unknown number. Should I pick it or not? I should not. I didn't picked it. It again rang.

Maybe I should pick it up. I answered the call

-"Hello!" A man speaks from other side.

-"Hello. Who are you?"

-"You know me Zoya."

-"How you know my name?"

-"I know many things about you."

-"Listen Mr. If you're one of that men who have called again to threaten me, then keep in mind that you can't do anything. I'm not afraid of your boss and......."

-"Hey! Zoya it's me. Jay."

-"Jay?"

-"Yes. I'm Jay your friend."

-"You stupid Mr. Jay Welson! Are you mad or what? Who calls like this? You know I thought that again those men called me. Idiot!"

-"Sorry. But whom are you talking about?"

-"Actually...... that...... I'll tell you when we'll meet."

-"Fine. I have also called you for that. It's 10 am now, be ready at 1 pm. I'll come to pick you, okay?"

-"Okay. Bye."

I ended the call and sat on couch near window. I unlock my phone and a smile crept on my face looking at wallpaper. You can guess whose photo is this. It's our photo which was clicked on his birthday by Rehan Bhai. In it he's wearing birthday cap and feeding me a piece of cake with his hands.

I called him, his phone is switched off. I again called him and got the same answer.

I went downstairs and heated noodles and parantha that mom has sent. I had my breakfast and got ready for going out.

I wore a black sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. My phone rang, it's Jay's call. He told me that he's outside. I took my sling bag and left downstairs holding my phone in hand.

I again called Faisal I got the same answer. This man! Just come back then I'll tell you.

I called Rehan Bhai and went in elevator.

-"Hi cutie!"

-"Bhai. I'll surely kill your best friend this time."

-"What he has done now? He's not even here."

-"That's the problem. He hasn't called me and now when I'm calling him his phone is switched off."

-"He hasn't called me also. I think he would have called Fero."

-"Okay I'll call him. Bye."

I ended the call and called Lucifer Bhai. He picked up the call and elevator door also opened.

-"How're you Doll?"

-"I'm fine Bhai."

I saw Jay standing. I waved my hand and moved to him.

-"Bhai. Has he called you? His phone is switched off."

Jay opened the door of his vine coloured Range rover and I sat inside. He sat on driving seat and started driving.

-"Whom are you talking about Doll?"

-"Bhai! Don't act innocent. You know whom I'm talking about."

-"Yes. I know. But Faisal hasn't called me also."

-"He's so careless."

-"Don't worry I'll try to contact him okay?"

-"Okay Bhai."

-"You were going with Welson today?"

-"Yes Bhai. We're in car right now."

-"That's nice. But Doll be careful okay? I know that Jay is your friend and he is a good person also but be careful."

-"Yes Sir. I will."

-"Take care. Bye."

I looked at Jay after talking.

-"Who was that? Mr. Montano?"

-"Yes."

-"He's an Italian. Is he your cousin brother? Because Rehan is your real brother right?"

I chuckled and nodded my head negatively.

-"No. We are not related by blood."

-"Really? But looking at you three no one can even think that you are not siblings."

-"Yeah. I know. They loves me so much. You know, relations are not made by blood, they are made by heart and feelings."

-"You speaks very beautiful things."

-"Thank you. I just speaks what my heart says."

-"It means that your heart is very beautiful."

-"What?" I started laughing.

-"What food you likes?"

-"Anything tasty. But it should be vegetarian."

-"So you're a vegan."

-"Hmm."

-"Beach or mountain?"

-"I'm very afraid of heights, but still I loves mountains."

Car stopped and we got down. We had lunch in a small restaurant. He said that the food here is very nice and it was.

After having lunch we left for his museum. Car stopped and a beautiful building is in front of us. It's built like a pyramid. We got inside and saw many beautiful and mysterious things and also clicked many pictures. He is very funny and talkative, just like me.

It's evening now. He's driving and we are going on a road outside of city and a smile is on his face.

-"Where are we going?"

-"Somewhere."

I giggled hearing him and remember someone.

-"Faisal also use to say that."

-"Huh?"

-"Whenever we goes out and I asks Faisal that where are we going he just says somewhere. He never tells me before." I said smiling.

-"Oh! I didn't knew that."

Car stopped and I looked outside. It's a beautiful terrace like place. I walked near wall and looked down there is a river downside.

-"Wow! It's looking like we're on top of a mountain."

-"It's my secret place. Whenever I feels sad I comes here."

I was standing holding the wall looking down and he stand beside me.

-"You knows many things about me, but I don't know anything about you. What type of friend I am?" I said and sigh.

-"There is nothing interesting to know about me."

-"Jay! Your friend is asking something."

-"Okay. So listen, I am Jay Welson, 26 years old, CEO of RC Companies."

-"And your family?"

-"I have no one."

-"No one?"

-"Yes. I'm an orphan. My father dead with heart attack and my mother dead because of cancer." He said sadly looking down.

-"I'm sorry. I didn't knew that." I should not have asked this, it made him sad.

-"You don't have to be sorry. It's your right to know this."

-"Right?"

-"Yeah. Afterall you're my best friend."

-"Best friend?"

-"Yes."

I chuckled and asked him another question

-"Do you have any girlfriend?"

-"What?" He asked looking at me shocked.

-"I asked, do you have any girlfriend? I mean you are very successful, you're rich and you're handsome also. So you would have any girlfriend."

-"You thinks that I'm handsome?"

-"But not more than Chris Hemsworth."

-"That's rude you know?"

I shrugged my shoulders and he smiled.

"No. I don't have any girlfriend. I am that type of man who just want one girl in life. I don't like to make girlfriends and all."

-"That's very nice. So has you liked or loved anyone?"

-"Yes. I did that. It was love at first sight."

-"Oh my goodness! Love at first sight! Tell me more."

-"But she can't be mine."

-"What? Why? Has you ever proposed her?"

-"No. I just loved her from distance and when I got courage to confess my love I found out that she is someone else's."

-"Where she is now?"

-"She is still there where she used to live. I meets her often, we're friends."

-"So have you tried to like anyone else?"

-"No. I told you that I am one girl type man. She was the first and I still loves her." He smiled looking at me and continued. "I know that I sounds like a creep. Because I loves someone who can never be mine, whom I can never win. I can never win my love."

-"No. It's not like that. Love is not just about winning. Sometimes you have to lose in love also. It don't matters that you wins her or not, the thing that matters is your feelings. I understand that you can't forget her, afterall she is your first love.

If you loves her truly, then her happiness should be your happiness. And as long as she is happy, you should be happy.

And don't ever try to force your feelings and emotions on anyone, it can destroy many lives. If you'll try to win her, then your life, her life and whom she belongs, his life also, three lives will be spoiled.

So just keep your love in heart and live happily. Because there are many peoples who can't even see whom they love. At least you are able to meet her."

He immediately looked away from me and turned towards the wall looking at river. He chuckled and looked at me again

-"You made me emotional. Your words are very powerful."

-"Words that are said from heart are always powerful. And you don't have to feel sad because your best friend is with you always."

-"Really? Always?"

-"Yes always. I promise." I said putting my hand in his hand. He smiled and my phone rang. It's Zack's call.

-"Hello Zack!"

-"Ma'am Faisal Sir!"

-"What happened Zack? Faisal is alright, right?"

-"Ma'am....... Sir is not fine."

-"What happened to him?"

-"Ma'am Sir is unconscious. Please...... please come to City hospital."

-"I'm coming." I ended the call and immediately looked at Jay.

-"What happened Zoya?"

-"Jay. Faisal..... please take me to City hospital."

-"Come."

We sat in car and he started driving.

What happened to my Faisal? Why he's in hospital? God! Please. Nothing should happen to my Faisal. Please God. Please.

My vision turned glossy and I bit my lower lip trying not to cry.

-"Zoya. He will be fine."

-"Please drive fast." I said slowly and he increased speed of car. He was glancing at me again and again worriedly.

AFTER 20 MINUTES

I ran inside and stopped on reception I was on the verge of crying.

-"Where is Mr. Faisal Khan?" Jay asked the receptionist.

-"Seventh floor room no. 106"

We ran in elevator and he pressed seventh floor button. The door opened. I found Zack and Justin standing on door of a room. I ran to them.

-"Zack......"

-"Ma'am Sir was coming home from airport, he was driving car and got in an accident."

I sat on bench and tears fell from my eyes.

-"Faisal!" I started crying.

Jay sat beside me and put his hands on my shoulder.

-"Zoya. Don't worry. He'll be fine."

-"How can I not worry Jay? There he....... he is......." I cried putting my hand on mouth.

-"Zoya.....Mr. Khan is very strong, nothing will happen to him."

-"He'll be fine right?"

-"He have to be." He said looking into my eyes. "He have to be fine for you."

-"Doll!"

-"Bhai....." I immediately got up and ran to him. I hugged him and started crying.

-"Doll. Calm down."

-"Bhai...... Faisal...." He caressed my head.

-"Don't cry my baby. He'll be fine. Come sit."

He made me sit on bench and sat beside me.

TIME 9 PM

Doctor has not came out yet. I am sitting on bench and Rehan Bhai is hugging me. He has came 10 minutes after Lucifer Bhai. Jay is also still here, he is standing crossing his hands on chest taking support of wall. Zack and Justin are also here.

-"Bhai. When will doctor come?" I asked Rehan Bhai.

-"Lucifer......" He looked at Lucifer Bhai and called him.

Before he said somthing the door opened and doctor came. I immediately ran to her.

-"Doctor! How is my Faisal?"

-"Don't worry. He's out of danger."

-"Nina. He's really fine right?" Lucifer Bhai asked her.

-"He's fine Lucifer. His head is hurt he has got stitches and there are just some minor injuries. He has lost a lot of blood, it was very difficult to stop bleeding. But he's alright now."

-"Can we meet him?" I asked her.

-"You can. But he is unconscious, maybe he'll wake up tomorrow. His injury is very deep."

We got inside his room. He is lying unconscious on bed, his forehead is covered with a bandage, there are some bruises on his right cheek. I sat on chair beside bed on left side and hold his hand, it's having a bandage which is connected to a pouch filled with blood. Tears fell from my eyes.

-"Faisal..... Why you always does that? I've told you to drive carefully but you never listens to me."

Lucifer Bhai came and put his hand on my head.

-"Doll. He'll be fine soon."

I nodded and kissed Faisal's hand. His phone rang.

-"Yes Diego...... What?...... Here Faisal is not right I can't come.......What the hell?!....... Diego look....."

-"Fero. What happened?"

-"Rehan there is a very big problem related...." He stopped in middle and glanced at Jay. I understood that it's related to Mafia.

-"You should go Fero."

-"But Rehan Faisal....."

-"Fero. I'll stay. You go."

-"Okay."

-"Doll. I have to go it's very urgent."

-"I understand Bhai."

-"You'll be thinking that what kind of brother I am who is leaving you in a situation like this......."

-"No Bhai. Don't speak like that. You both are the best brothers in the world."

-"I'm going but I'll come immediately after work. And Rehan will stay here with you both okay? And if....."

-"And if anything happens then just call me I'll immediately come. Be strong and take care of yourself and Faisal. Anything else?

Fero. I know you cares for her very much. But I'm here right? So don't worry and go." Rehan Bhai said.

-"Fine. Love you my little princess. Bye." He left after kissing my forehead.

-"Ma'am Justin and me are outside, call us if you need anything." Zack said.

-"Okay."

They both left closing the door. Doctor Nina entered

-"I'm sorry but only two persons can stay here with Mr. Khan."

-"I think I should also go. Take care Zoya. I'll come in morning."

-"Thank you Jay." I said. He smiled and left.

Rehan Bhai came and sat on couch which is near wall on right side of bed.

-"Bhai. Mom Dad?"

-"I told them that I can't come home as I have some work. Don't worry Cutie."

I nodded and looked at Faisal's face.

-"Get well soon Faisal. Your Jaan can't see you like this."

A lone tear escaped my eyes I put my head down on bed holding his hand.

I feel like someone is touching my forehead. I immediately opened my eyes and saw

-"Jay?"

-"Good morning."

He was standing beside me. I realised that I was sleeping sitting on chair holding Faisal's hand.

-"You?! Bhai?"

-"Don't be surprised. Your brother has left for bringing breakfast."

-"Oh! What time is it?"

-"It's 7:30 am."

I rubbed my eyes and saw Faisal who is still unconscious. I caressed his cheek lightly. As I was holding his hand I feel movement of his fingers. I saw that his fingers are moving.

-"Faisal..... Jay look Faisal is getting conscious. Please call the doctor."

FAISAL'S POV

I opened my eyes and found a doctor in front of me. A nurse made me sit on bed taking support of pillow. I remembered that I got in accident that's why I'm in hospital.

-"How're you feeling Mr. Khan?"

-"My head is paining a lot and I'm feeling very weak."

-"Because you've lost a lot of blood. Your reports are telling that you hasn't eaten anything since Saturday."

What should I tell her that I've not eaten anything because I had a fight with my wife? That I was so angry on myself for shouting on her and saying mean things? That I spoiled our first date because of my fear and anger? Or that I made my love to feel like she's nothing to me?

No. I can't tell her that and where the hell is Zack? I remember that he was the one whose face I saw before losing my senses completely. I glanced in room and found my love, my Jaan standing near door holding tears in her eyes.

Tears?

-"Jaan!" I called her and she ran to me. She immediately hugged me hiding her face in my chest and started crying. I held her protectively in my embrace and made her sit on bed beside me.

Though I'm feeling very weak and lifeless but after hugging my wife, I'm feeling like I got back my life.

-"Faisal." She sobbed.

-"Jaan. Please don't cry. Look nothing happened to me. I'm fine and........" She broke the hug.

-"How can I not cry?! You idiot! I've seen you after two days! Look how much injured you are!" She shouted while crying.

-"I'm not that much hurt......"

-"Really?! Then there is makeup on your face right?"

-"Yes. You know I had went to the biggest make-up artist of New Zealand." I said teasingly and she hitted my chest with her hand.

-"Faisal." She hugged me again and started crying bitterly.

-"Jaan." I held her close and caressed her head.

-"I was...... I was so scared....... I..... I can't live..... without you. I..... I was...... I was feel...... feeling like dying." She speaks in between of sobs.

-"Hey! Don't speak like that. That'll never gonna happen. I'll never leave you. How will I live without my Jaan?"

I said and make her look at me, her face is full of tears. I wiped her tears. I kissed her forehead and cupped her face, she closed her eyes and put her hands above mine.

-"You cries so much."

-"You are the one who made me cry. My idiot arrogant grumpy husband." She said in her cute angry tone and I chuckled. She smiled and hugged me.

My eyes went to Jay and Lucifer who was standing near door. Jay? What he's doing here? Lucifer walked near us. I broke the hug but not let her get up. I made her sit near me and hold her hand, entwining our fingers.

-"How're you feeling bro?"

-"Like someone is banging my head with hammer."

-"Nina. Have you listened what he said?"

-"Yes Lucifer. Don't worry. If Mr. Khan will follow medication properly then he'll recover soon." Doctor said.

-"Nina? I think I've heard this name before."

-"You have. She is Mr. Hamid's daughter. Remember?"

-"Yeah I remember. You told me about her."

-"Jay. Why are you standing here like this?" Rehan said to Jay entering the room. They both walked to us.

-"Where were you?" I asked to Rehan.

-"I had went to bring breakfast. Look."

He put the bag he was holding on couch.

-"I'm glad that you're fine Mr. Khan." Jay said.

-"How you got to know?"

-"I was with Zoya when your bodyguard called her. So I came here with her."

I nodded and said to Nina.

-"I want to go home."

-"What? But Mr. Khan you have to stay."

-"No. I want to go my home. I'll not stay here."

-"But Faisal......"

-"No Jaan. It's not safe here."

-"I understand what you're saying. But you are not fine and we'll not leave until doctor allows you. And for safety Zack and Justin are here."

-"But...."

-"Faisal. Cutie is right. Me and Lucifer are also here. So don't worry about safety."

-"Mr. Khan just two days, on Wednesday you'll be discharged."

-"Fine."

Doctor Nina left after giving me medicine and told me to take them and rest after eating something. Zack and Justin was also here since last night, they also came to meet me. Jay was also leaving but Rehan stopped him saying that they'll leave together after breakfast for hotel, as Jay also have to go there.

Right now these brother sister trio are unpacking their tasty breakfast and the nurse came with a bowl of porridge and a glass milk for me. Yuck!

-"I'll not eat this."

-"You have to. Doctor told me to....."

-"I don't want to eat this and that's final."

-"But sir....." I gave her my death glare and she looked at me terrified. Just then I feel a pinch on my right arm.

-"Ouch!" I looked right side rubbing my arm and found her glaring at me.

-"Your tricks are not going to work here." Then she looked at the nurse and smiled. She's glaring at her own husband and smiling at a nurse. "Give it to me please." The nurse hand her the tray and left. She hand me the tray.

"Now eat this."

-"No."

-"Are you mad? You've not eaten anything since Saturday and....."

-"I can't eat anything until I apologise to you for that night."

-"Don't be stubborn Faisal. Eat this you're not well."

-"No Jaan. I was at mistake and....."

-"Faisal. We'll talk about it at home."

-"Are you mad at me?"

-"I'll be very mad at you if you don't eat this."

-"But Jaan you know hospital's food is tasteless and....."

-"No more excuses you....."

-"Jaan I'm telling truth. It's really very tasteless and I've also heard that they mixes medicine in food so that people can get addicted to hospital food and......." A spoon full of porridge came in my mouth.

-"Oh God! Faisal how much you speaks?! I wonder who told me that you never speaks more than a sentence of four words!

And what kind of excuse you're giving? They'll mix medicine in food. Literally? Learn some new excuses to escape from healthy food."

-"I don't need to eat healthy food I'm already healthy. Don't forget that I've abs and I'm very muscular." I said gulping porridge.

-"Yes. I can see how healthy you're right now. You know since last night doctor has gave you three glucose bottles and two blood....."

-"Jaan! I'm feeling hungry."

-"If you'll not eat anything for two days then you'll feel hungry only. Stupid idiot!"

-"Jaan!"

-"Eat it." She said signalling towards the tray.

-"You'll feed me."

-"Huh?"

-"Feed me. I want to eat with my wife's hands."

-"You're such a kiddo. I don't know why everyone called me childish when the biggest muscular child is in front of me." She took a spoon full of porridge and feed me. I moaned in pleasure.

-"Yummy!"

-"Bro. Is it really that tasty?" Rehan asked. Oops! I forgot that there are three more persons in room. But It's not a problem 'cause no one can stop me from teasing my wife.

-"It's more tasty than a cheesecake." I told him. But in reality it's tasteless.

-"Really? I also want to eat this now. Cutie please feed me one spoon." He speak coming towards us. She forwarded spoon of porridge to him but I ate it holding her hand.

-"Only I have the right to eat with my wife's hands."

He pouted and sat back on couch between Lucifer and Jay. Lucifer was smiling looking at us I asked him raising my eyebrows and he just nodded his head negatively.

-"Mr. Khan, if your drama is finished then please have your food." She said in overly sweet voice smiling. I sense that it's not right to make more excuses otherwise my fierce wifey will not spare me.

-"Yes Jaan. I'll eat now. Please feed me." She started feeding me and I smiled at her. She rolled her eyes looking so done with me.

Hours went away and I'm tired of sleeping. Right now Jaan is feeding me lunch. Jay and Rehan has left and Lucifer is still here. I've sent Zack and Justin as they both are here since yesterday. Now Diego and one guard of mine are outside. After breakfast she made me lye on bed and told me to sleep after giving me medicine and I immediately fell asleep. Maybe because of medicine and weakness. I'm feeling very tired without even doing anything. I am not even able to walk, I'm feeling very dizzy.

-"Now eat your medicine I'm just coming okay, my phone is ringing." She said handing me medicine.

-"Come fast, I'll miss you." She rolled her eyes at me and left out of room. I giggled at her expressions. I know that sometimes I troubles her so much and I irritates her a lot, but I love it whenever she scolds me. Because she is the only one who can do that. The one and only girl in my life. My first and last in everything. She is mine and I am hers and no one can take what's mine. She's only.....

-"Hey! Lover boy!" I turned to my right side and glared at Lucifer.

-"Are you crazy Fero? Why are you shouting this loud? What if she hear it?"

-"It's the truth that you're a lover boy and loves her so much."

-"Yes, it's true that I loves her so much, I love her more than anything in this world. So?"

-"When will you tell her?"

-"One day."

-"When will that day come? It's already going to be one year of your marriage after two months. And when are you going to tell her parents? Faisal. You don't know how hard it is for her to hide everything from her parents."

-"I know Fero. I am myself thinking about confessing my love to her but I'm waiting till our anniversary which is on 3rd April. I will also talk to her parents myself and........" The door opened and I immediately shut my mouth.

She entered and asked

-"What happened? Why you both stopped talking?"

-"Jaan we were doing some personal talk. Secret you know."

-"Whatever. Doctor Nina told you to rest

Then she made me lye on bed. I don't wanna sleep again but my eyes are not listening to me. And finally I fell asleep after trying so hard to stay awake.

I'm hearing sound of whimpers. I slowly opened my eyes and found that the room's light are dim. I glanced around the room and my eyes stopped at an innocent figure standing near window looking out of it. I can identify this figure even when my eyes are close.

*Sob*

Is she crying? I got down from bed slowly, I moved towards her without making any sound. I put my hand on her shoulder and she abruptly turned back, she is looking terrified.

-"Jaan." She immediately wiped her tears looking at me and tried to force a smile.

-"You scared me."

-"Why're you crying?"

-"I'm not crying. I was looking out of window and dirt came in my eyes that's why, it's looking like I'm crying." She said smiling.

"And why're you standing? Come sit." She made me sit on couch and moved to table beside couch.

"You're weak Faisal, you have to do bed rest for atleast three days." She said pouring juice into glass.

"You know how much blood you've lost. I've seen your reports after I.V. also, your RBC amount is very low. Now drink this pomegranate juice, it's very good for....."

-"Do you think that I am a fool?"

-"Huh?"

I took the glass of juice from her hand and put it on table. I stand infront of her.

-"Do you think that you can lie to me?"

-"I told you I was looking out....."

-"I can tell when you're lying and when not. I am not someone who can trust your lie. I am your Faisal, your husband, who can read your thoughts just by looking at your face. So please don't lie to me. Tell me what......"

-"Let's go home."

-"Huh? What you said?"

-"I said let's go back home."

-"But in morning you yourself insisted to....."

-"You'll listen to me or not? I'm telling you let's go home. Our home. I don't want to stay here." She said without looking at me and I can feel her voice is different like she's hiding something, like she's scared.

I cupped her face.

-"Jaan! What happened Jaan? Everything is fine right?"

-"Everything is fine. But Faisal I just want us to go home. Now. And that's all. Please." She looked at me with pleading eyes. Her eyes are showing, fear?

"Please Faisal. Let's go home."

He is that kind of person who stays away from every kind of relationships. But if he makes it then it's unbreakable, he can do anything for that relation,even if it's love, friendship or hatred

That's why I'm telling more about him afterall he's our Zoya's friend, Rehan's business partner and Faisal also thinks good about him because he knows him for a long time and Lucifer.... He don't trusts anyone easily just like Faisal and when he got to know that he's her Doll's friend, then his protective brother came out, but he thinks of him as a nice person.
