50. SURPRISE!

-"Jaan! Jaan! Wake up Jaan!" I heard Faisal's voice. I opened my eyes and found him sitting near me.

-"Faisal?" I asked sitting up on bed.

-"Jaan I'm really sorry to disturb you but it's very urgent." He said stroking my hairs.

-"What happened?"

-"We've to go somewhere. Right now."

-"But where?" I asked being confused.

-"Shopping."

-"Shopping? But I don't want anything." I said while lying again on bed. I'm feeling sleepy.

-"Jaan!"

-"Let me sleep." I said whining.

-"Firstly listen to me."

-"I'm listening." I said pulling blanket more closer.

-"Today in evening at 5 we've to go to a party. It's a business party. We both have to go."

-"Hmm...." I hmmed and drifted back to sleep.

-"Jaan! Listen!" He shouted and I opened my eyes.

-"I'm listening."

-"And you've to wear something, you know like..... party wear.... like some beautiful dress." He said trying to find correct words. My eyes closed again.

-"Jaan!" He shouted shaking my arms.

-"Yes." I answered opening my eyes.

-"Have you even listened what I said? We've to go right now."

-"Hmm." My eyes closed again.

I found him pulling away my blanket. I opened my eyes immediately. He slided his hands under me and lifted me in his arms.

-"Faisal what're you doing?" I asked coming out of sleep immediately. My whole sleep ran away. He walked to bathroom without even looking at me. He took me directly to bathroom without even stopping in closet. He put me down on floor. I'm so pissed now.

"Faisal! We don't need to go shopping. You yourself told me yesterday that you've brought party wears for me. They're in closet. Then why we've to go out? I wanted to sleep more."

-"That will not work. We've to buy new dress."

-"But Faisal....."

-"Mrs. Zoya Faisal Khan. It's an order. Now brush your teeth and take a bath. You have only ten minutes." He said and went out closing door.

-"Mrs. Zoya Faisal Khan. It's an order blah blah blah..... Mr. Controlling." I imitate him and went to brush my teeth. I took bath and realise that I don't have any clothes to wear. God! This man! It's because of him. I looked around and found a bathrobe. I wore it and went in closet.

I took out a black jeans, grey top, a brown jacket and a pair of heel boots. Are these clothes good enough for going out with him? I will ask him myself.

I wore those clothes and dried my hairs. I went in room and found him in balcony. He is talking on a phone call so I sat on bed waiting for him.

Fifteen minutes passed, but he is still on call. I waited for ten minutes more, but still he's on call. Firstly he disturbed my lovely sleep and only I knows how I've agreed for shopping. My head also started paining. Doctor told to take medicines after eating something within one hour of waking up otherwise this headache will get more worse. And now it has been already more than forty five minutes and this pain is increasing with every passing second.

I got up from bed and went in balcony.

-"Faisal." I called him and he turned to me. "Faisal I....." He showed me his palm and continued his call.

I stood there and waited for two more minutes. He's not even looking at me. My head is paining a lot now. It's enough now. I snatched his phone and end the call.

-"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! ARE YOU F*CKING MAD?!" He yelled.

-"First of all mind your language Faisal. Don't use bad words." I said calmly.

-"Can't you wait for sometime? I was on very important call."

-"I am waiting for more than half an hour. Now come we've to go to shopping and my med........"

-"Do the hell with your f*cking shopping? Give me back my phone!" He again shouted while trying to snatch his phone from my hands. But I didn't let him take it.

-"Don't yell at me. I wasn't the one who wanted to go for shopping. I was sleeping peacefully but you disturbed my sleep. Then you ordered me to get ready for going to shopping. And then you made me wait for almost thirty minutes. And now you're not even paying attention on me when I'm trying......." I was speaking but he pulled me to himself holding my arm tightly. He put his one hand around my waist and held my arm with other tightly.

"What're you doing?" I asked trying to get away but he tightened his hold on my arm and I hissed in pain.

-"You wanted my attention right? Now you have my full attention. So what you want now? You want me to kiss you right? So then I'll do it?" He said while moving his face near mine. I pushed him away getting out of his hold.

-"What the hell are you doing Faisal?" I shouted while moving away from him. He again held my arm and pulled me to himself. "Leave me Faisal......"

-"SHUT UP! Enough of this bullsh*t! Now give me back my phone and don't you dare do this again. And just f*ck this shopping!" He yelled and pushed me away snatching his phone. He went out banging the door so loudly that I flinched.

My head felt a very sharp pain. I went in room and sat on bed holding my head. It's hurting a lot now. I've to take medicines. I've not eaten anything but this pain is making me mad. I should take them. I took out the medicines and ate them. I drank a whole glass of water and my stomach felt a bit hurt.

Firstly this pain, and now we had a fight. I hope he'll be fine when his anger will calm down. I shouldn't have behaved that way. He was on important call and I cut it. It's wrong. I will apologize. It's all my mistake. He got angry because of me.

I sat silently on bed calming my head. After twenty minutes

-"Yes.... Yes Mr. Wilson don't worry about that." I heard his voice. He entered from door and directly went to bookshelf. I immediately stood up looking at him. He took out one file and started talking about work.

I'm feeling scared. Should I talk to him?

Of course I should. He ended the call and started reading the file. I walked to him and stand at two feet distance.

-"I'm sorry Faisal." I said looking down fidgeting my fingers. "I'm really very sorry. I shouldn't have cut that call. And I shouldn't have behaved like that. I promise I'll never disturb you again. Forgive me this time and please don't be angry. Please." I requested.

-"ZOYA!" He shouted and I flinched. He never calls me with my name and if today he has, it means he's really angry. I'm feeling more scared now. He turned and walked to me. I took steps back. He stopped two steps away from me.

"Do you know what the rubbish you're speaking? Why're you apologising? In fact I should apologize." He said and I looked up.

"I should apologize for shouting on you. And the way I behaved I'm feeling very guilty. You knows me Jaan. I does anything in anger. But I shouldn't have touched you that way I...... I'm really sorry. Look how scared you are because of me, even your hands are shivering." He said and walked near me. He forwarded his hands to hold mine but stopped. I looked up at him confused.

"Can I touch you Jaan?" He asked and from his voice I can sense that he's feeling guilty. I immediately hugged him.

-"I'm sorry." I whispers.

-"You don't have to say that. I should say it. I'm sorry Jaan. I'm really sorry." He said caressing my head with his hand.

-"I was scared Faisal. Your anger scares me a lot."

-"I know Jaan but I......."

I pushed him away and ran in bathroom covering my mouth with hand. I puked in washbasin. I found my hairs being moved away from my face. I know it's him.

-"Slowly Jaan." He started rubbing my back while holding back my hairs. I cleaned up and he made me sit on bed.

"You're fine Jaan?"

-"Hmm."

-"What happened? Should I call doctor?"

-"No Faisal. I think it's because I ate medicines without eating anything." I said and he glared at me. I looked down.

After sometimes

-"He told to take medicines again after eating something."

-"I told you it's not a big issue." I said pushing away the blanket. Yes. Blanket. Because he made me lye on bed and covered me with blanket. "You're so over caring."

-"I am. When it comes to you I becomes very much protective. Because you're my everything Jaan." He said holding my hand.

-"I love you Faisal." I said and  hugged him. He hugged be back and kissed on top of my head.

-"I love you too Jaan. I love you a lot."

-"Now can we go for shopping hubby?"

-"Yes. But firstly breaky."

AT SHOPPING MALL

-"Faisal?" I asked pulling his coat sleeve.

-"Yes Jaan." He asked looking at me.

-"Here all the dresses are looking.... you know like..... princess dress."

-"So what Jaan? Are you not my princess? Oh wait. You're my queen actually." He said giving me his charming smile.

-"Faisal. I'm trying to say that we're going in a business party, and if I'll wear this kind of dress then......" He didn't let me complete my sentence

-"Jaan. Don't overthink. These kind of dress is perfect for today." He said and walked inside holding my hand.

Just as we walked inside a young man came to us.

-"Welcome Mr. & Mrs. Khan."

-"Who are you and where is Mr. George?" Faisal asked him.

-"I'm his son Patrick and he has gone out of city."

-"Okay. Show us that new collection." He said to Mr. Patrick. Then he took us to a separate section of shop. There are many beautiful dresses around.

-"Jaan. Look and tell which dress you like." He said and I looked around. I can't decide which I'm liking.

-"Faisal."

-"Yes Jaan."

-"I need help." I said looking at him and he smiled at me.

-"Come let's look properly." He then walked to the dresses.

-"Sir. Ma'am. This is the most trending dress of our new collection. This will look really good on ma'am." One of staff member said showing us one dress.

-"I think this will look really good on you." He said to me.

What? He liked this dress? Like this is even a dress. It's too much revealing.

"Jaan."

-"Yes Faisal."

-"We're buying this one."

-"Faisal? This one?" I asked looking at him being afraid.

-"Yes Jaan. Look how beautiful it is."

-"But Faisal.... Look that one is more beautiful." I said signing towards a beautiful baby pink off shoulder lacy gown having flowers on it.

-"No Jaan. That's not nice. I like this one and we're buying it." He said and took me to counter for paying after telling the lady to pack the dress. Then we went out of shop and he told Justin to take the dress and put it in car until we buy something else.

-"Faisal. You really liked that dress?"

-"Yes. I liked it very much. You don't liked it?" He asked looking at me smiling.

-"If you liked it, then I also likes it." I said. He held my hand and walked to a jewelry shop.

-"Jaan. Select any necklace."

-"But Faisal you knows that I don't know much about jewelries. So you yourself has to select."

-"Okay Jaan. So.... This one?" He asked showing me one necklace.

-"It's really beautiful."

-"Pack this one and with matching earrings." He told staff.

-"Okay sir."

Then we bought white glittery heels. And now we're in restaurant. We had lunch. And now he ordered ice cream. Actually I forced him to order icecream but he ordered only one.

-"You're not eating icecream?" I asked.

-"No Jaan. You eat, I'm going to washroom okay?" He said getting up.

-"Okay."

-"Zack. Stay with her okay?"

-"Okay boss."

Then Faisal went out and I ate my icecream. I'm still worried about that dress. How I'll wear that revealing dress?

He came back and I was still eating icecream. He sat on chair and started using his phone. I took a spoon full of icecream and bring it to his mouth. He looked at me.

-"Eat it. It's very yummy." I said smiling and he ate it smiling back. I heard a click sound. I looked at right side and found Robert. He has clicked our picture.

-"What is this Robert?" Faisal asked him.

-"Sir you both are looking very cute together."

-"Send me the photo." He said and started using his mobile again. I rolled my eyes at him. "Don't roll your eyes at me Jaan." He speaks without looking away from mobile. I finished my icecream and waited for him to notice. I want to see that for how much time he can be busy in his dabba.

Ten minutes passed, but he didn't looked away from his dabba.

-"Mr. Khan. I think you forgot that you has brought your wife with yourself." I said in sweet voice being sarcastic. He immediately looked up at me and got up from chair putting his mobile in pants pocket.

-"Come Jaan. Let's leave. It's already 3 pm and party is at 5. We've to get ready also." He said while holding my hand. I got up and we walked out of mall.

AT PENTHOUSE

-"Jaan. I'm going to take a shower so please took out clothes from closet for me."

-"Okay." I said and went in closet while he went to bathroom. I looked in his cupboard and found many suits, jackets and all. He has these much clothes that it's hard for me to decide. After going through almost thirty suits, I took out a grey color three piece suit for him. It's looking very good and I know that it'll suit my Faisal. Well, everything looks good on him but I really like this one.

I put the clothes on a table near dressing table. I heard sound of door opening. I looked at it and found him coming in closet. There's just a towel wrapped around him which is lying very low showing off his v line. He has a towel hanging in his neck. He walked to me and looked at the suit on table.

-"This one is really nice Jaan."

-"Really?"

-"Yes." He said and hold up the suit.

I noticed something on his arm. I hold his arm and found marks of stitches on his arm. These marks starts from his elbow and are till his wrist.

-"These are from that surgery after my accident."

-"You has an iron rod in your hand right?" I asked looking at the stitches.

-"Hmm. In my hand and leg as well."

-"Can I ask a question?" I asked.

-"Ask. You don't need permission."

-"After doctor put iron rods, your hands and leg would've been heavier and your weight would have been increased right?" He looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. "I know it's a silly question but I'm just curious."

-"Oh Jaan! Come here my love." He said smiling and kissed my forehead. "You're not silly. You're cute." He said kissing on my nose. I smiled and he smiles back.

-"Now wear clothes and get ready." I said and went out of closet in bedroom.

I looked at the bag which has that dress. How I'll wear that dress? This question again entered my mind.

I opened the bag and got shocked.

-"Pink dress?" I exclaimed and rubbed my eyes to look properly. It's that pink dress which I liked. I took it out properly and went in closet holding it.

"Faisal you got this dress?!" I asked shouting in happiness. He was standing in front of mirror wearing pants and unbuttoned shirt. He looks at me through mirror and smiles.

-"You thought that I'll not get you what you liked? And on top of it you thought that I'll like that revealing dress and I'll let you wear something like that? Never." He said buttoning his shirt.

-"Then why you said that you likes that dress?"

-"Jaan. I wanted to surprise you."

-"I liked your surprise. Thank you Faisal." I said smiling.

-"Anything for you Jaan. Now......"

*Ring ring*

His phone rang.

"Jaan. I'm going in balcony to talk till then you get ready. And I'll be outside okay?"

-"Okay." I answers and he went out of closet holding his coat.

-"Faisal. Can i open my eyes now?"

-"Wait a bit Jaan." He said and kept walking holding me.

"Now open your eyes my love."

I opened my eyes

-"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

Everyone shouted. I looked around in confusion. We're in Faisal's fairyland (orphanage made by zoya). All the children's are standing here.

-"Happy birthday Jaan." He said putting his hand around my waist. I looked at him and he just smiled. I realised that today is 22nd March, my birthday.

-"Happy birthday Zoya aunty." Catherine said walking to me holding a

Orchid's bouquet.

-"Thank you." I said taking it from her. She has grown up a lot. Now she's 7 years old.

-"Happy birthday buddy." I heard a familiar voice. I looked at right side and found him looking at me smiling.

-"Jay!" I shouted in happiness. I want to go and hug him but, I glanced hesitantly at Faisal.

-"Go Jaan. You'll not even hug your best friend." He said smiling and I went to Jay. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

-"I missed you buddy." We broke the hug and I looked at him smiling.

-"Happy birthday Doll."

-"Happy birthday Cutie."

I looked at side and found Lucifer Bhai and Rehan Bhai. My smile faded looking at them. They both are looking at me with guilt. I can see tears in Rehan Bhai's eyes. And Lucifer bhai is not even able to make eye contact with me.

-"Jaan. Let's cut the cake." Faisal said coming to me. He holds my hand and took me near the table where cake was placed.

I forwarded the knife to him and he looked at me confused. I signed him with my eyes to come near. He smiles and hold my hand coming near me.

-"Firstly make a wish, you should make only one and then blow the candles." Jerry, a young boy said.

-"Okay."

I closed my eyes and made a wish

'God. Please keep my Faisal always happy."

I blew the candles and then cut the cake holding Faisal's hand. Everyone cheered and sang happy birthday.

-"Thank you everyone." I said smiling. I hold a piece of cake and feed it to Faisal. Then I feeds a piece to Jay.

-"Happy birthday buddy." He said smiling. He also feed me cake.

-"Thank you." I said smiling back then I looked at both of my brothers. They both are looking down and are standing very far. I should end this all and gave them a chance. It's the right time.

-"You're right. Go." Jay whispered. I looked at him and moved to both of them. They both looked at me.

-"You both are cake lovers right? Then why're you standing this far? Don't wanna eat cake of your little sister's birthday?" I asked smiling.

-"I'm dying for it." Lucifer Bhai said and ate the cake.

-"Me too." Rehan bhai said and ate whole piece that I had in my hands. I laughed at him but tears escaped my eyes.

-"We're really sorry Doll."

-"Please forgive our mistakes. We missed you a lot."

-"I also missed you." I said and they both hugged me. I started crying... I can even sense that they both are also crying.

-"Hey! Enough of your crying. Today is a happy day." Faisal shouted and I broke the hug.

"Honestly speaking, Rehan and Fero you're looking very silly while crying."

-"Don't call my brothers silly. You're the silly one." I said wiping my tears. Faisal just smiled. I looked at my brothers and wiped their tears.

After I distributed cake and chocolates, all children sat on dining table arranged for them and started eating. We all also had dinner there. Now everything seems to come on place slowly slowly. I'm so happy today.

NIGHT

-"Jaan why're you standing in balcony? It's cold outside." He said while walking in balcony.

-"It's not that cold."

-"Really?" He said and touching my cheek "Then why is your body is so cold?" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Jaan.... " I went near him and hugged him. His body became still for a while like he's in shock. But he also hugged me back after few seconds.

-"Thank you for everything. Thank you for making my birthday memorable. Thank you Faisal."

-"I know that you've never celebrated your birthday. And I promise that from now on I'll make your every birthday memorable."

-"You don't need to do anything. Because every moment of my life is memorable if you're with me."

-"You love me this much?"

-"Hmm.... I love you the most. I love you more than anything else in this world." I said and he kissed on my head.

-"I love you too Jaan. You're my life... My everything."

-"Faisal........" I was going to say something but his phone rang. I broke the hug and glared at him. He took out his mobile from his pocket.

-"Jaan. I'm sorry but I've to go in study room. I've video conference with a client. You can see it's Bella's call to remind me. I'm not lying." He said showing me his phone.

-"Go. I don't care." I whispers while going back in room.

-"Jaan listen na...." He speaks while coming behind me. I sat on bed in anger. He put his hand on my shoulder but I moved away.

"Jaan."

-"You go and do your conference."

-"No. Firstly tell me what you were saying."

-"No."

He sat on bed besides me and put his arms around my shoulders.

-"I'm listening to you. I'll do meeting later." I looked at his face.

-"I wanted to open my birthday gifts with you." I said pouting sadly. He smiles and pecked my lips. "Faisal!" I shouted in frustration and moved away from him.

-"But Jaan this meeting is important. You know I've not worked whole day and have postponed three meetings because of your birthday. And this one is really important otherwise I would have postponed it too. You yourself says na that work first?"

-"Fine. But I want chocolate icecream and cheese pizza. Now." I said while standing up. He stood in front of me and hold my hands.

-"Okay my wifey. I'm ordering your pizza and icecream is already in refrigerator. And about opening gifts, we'll open it together after meeting. It'll only take one and half an hour."

-"Okay. I understand. Go otherwise you'll be late." I speak looking at him smiling. He kissed my forehead and went out of room. I went downstairs in kitchen. I took out choco icecream in a bowl and sat on dining table. I unlocked my mobile phone and found messages from Jay. He has sent me videos from party. I played the video and ate icecream while watching.

*Ding dong*

I heard doorbell. So pizza came? This early? I went to door and opened it. I found Louis, one of our bodyguard.

-"Good evening ma'am."

-"Good evening Mr. Louis." I wished back smiling.

-"Ma'am a delivery boy came with these." He showed me two box. One is pizza box but other is a gift box. I think Faisal would have did this.

-"Oh yeah. We ordered it. Thank you." I said while taking box from him.

-"Welcome ma'am. And it's my duty." He said smiling politely. "And ma'am please close the door carefully." He said and I closed the door.

I went to dining table and put the boxes. I put away pizza box and opened the gift box smilingly. Just as I opened it I got terrified.

-"FAISAL!!"
