51. IN FAMILY, WE TRUSTS

I went to dining table and put the boxes. I put away pizza box and opened the gift box smilingly. Just as I opened it I got terrified.

-"FAISAL!!" I shouts in fear and move away from it. I took steps back and my back hit the kitchen wall. My heart is throbbing in fear and I'm not even able to breath properly.

-"Jaan!" I heard his voice. "Jaan what happened?" He asked coming down stairs. I immediately went near him and hugged him in fear. My whole body is shaking. He caress my head and asks "What happened Jaan?"

-"That box." I said signing to that box. He start walking to it but I holds his hand.

-"No." I whispers.

-"Let me see Jaan." He walk to it and he himself got shock and move two step back. He looks at me and I holds his hand. He again went to it and took out that from box.

-"Faisal! No! Don't touch that! No!" I shout but he show it to me.

-"It's not real. Look Jaan. It's made of rubber and this is artificial blood." He speak and I touch it with my finger. It's really not real. It's a human hand with blood over it.

"But how this came here Jaan?"

-"In parcel just now. I thought that you bought some gift for me so I opened it and found this."

My phone rang. I took it out from my jacket's pocket. Just looking at the screen my body became numb.

-"Who's call is this Jaan?"

-"David....." I whispers and he took the phone from my hand. I look at him in horror and snatched the phone from him.

-"What're you doing Jaan? Give it to me. I'll talk to that b*stard. How dare he call my wife?" He speak in anger and tried to took phone from me but I move away hiding mobile behind my back. He looks at me confused.

"Jaan. What kind of behavior is this?"

-"No. You'll not talk to him."

-"Then you'll talk to him? Huh?" He asked and I nodded. "Are you mad? How can you even think that I'll let you talk to him?"

-"I'm telling you na! I'll myself talk to him. You please stay away." I said and ran upstairs. He follows me and just as I was going to close the door of room he hold the doorknob. He pushed the door so forcely that it bursts open. But I ran away from him hiding the phone. It again started ringing. He hold my arm and pulled me to himself holding my waist tightly. He looks at me with furious eyes. His eyes are red in anger and his gaze is scaring me.

-"Give me the phone." He growls in anger. But I nodded negatively with teary eyes and hold the phone very tightly. He became more angry and started snatching the phone from me forcefully pushing me away. But I threw it on floor and it broke. He holds my arm in anger and raise his hand to slap me. I hides my face with my hand in fear and closed my eyes. But he didn't hit me. He pushed me away and turned to other side moving fingers in his hairs. I cried silently looking down.

He turned and walks to me. He made me sit on bed. He sat on floor in front of me holding my hands.

"Hey Jaan! I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Please stop crying. Please. Look at me baby." He said and I look at him. I found his eyes looking at me worriedly. He wipes my tears.

-"I'm sorry Faisal. But I can't let you talk to him."

-"Why Jaan? And firstly tell me how you got his number?"

-"Faisal he..... he used to threaten me."

-"What...." He whispers and again hold my hands. "Since when?"

-"Since more than last three years."

-"And you're telling me today?" He said in a bit harsh voice.

-"I'm sorry."

-"Tell me everything clearly." He speaks and I wiped my tears. I look at him properly holding his hands tightly.

-"Faisal. Remember that photos of Ana and that boy? After you blocked that number I used to get call from another number. That day on my nineteenth birthday in night at 12 I got a call. I heard a man's voice who was singing happy birthday for me. Then he told me to be ready at 6 in morning for my birthday gift. So in morning I....... I......" I was speaking but my breath became heavy. Faisal got up from floor and made me drink water.

-"Slowly Jaan. Now speak." Then he sat on bed beside me.

-"I was waiting in morning. A parcel came at 6 am and I got call from same number, he told me to open that box and...... and there was your watch in that box. I asked him that how you got my Faisal's watch but he told me to find an news channel. I switched on TV and found the news that you......." I started crying very bitterly after that and he hugged me.

-"Jaan.." I broke the hug and look at his face wiping my tears.

-"That wasn't all Faisal. Then I didn't got any call for months. But on your birthday when I was going to orphanage I got a call again from that same number. I told you about Catherine's kidnapping right?" I asks and he nodded. "There I went. The place he told me and I found out that day that it's David who was calling me. He told me that he was the one behind your accident."

-"What happened there? You didn't told me everything clearly that day. Tell me now every single thing that happened there." He asked and I nodded.

-"Faisal. He said that he killed you so that he can have me. I asked him that if he wanted me than why he tried to kill both of us in that accident. He said that he wanted to kill me only so that he can make you all suffer just like when Roshni di died. But when he saw me there in party he wanted me and then he got to know that I'm your wife. So he started planning to kill you and snatch me from you. Then that day he succeed. He said bad words to me and was forcing me......." I was speaking when Faisal holds my arm and asked worriedly.

-"He didn't touched you right? Tell me Jaan. He didn't......"

-"Faisal!" I exclaim removing his hand. I hold his hand assuring "No one can even dare to touch me. After that hotel incident in Nashville I learned kung fu and gun shooting. I kicked that David Devil just right there and then I told him to leave Catherine but he didn't so I shot his leg with a gun and you know the rest."

-"Then. He called you again after that?"

-"I didn't got any call after that. I told Zack to find information about him, and he told me that David and Fiona left America."

-"What?" He looks at me in surprise.

-"Hmm. But today he send that hand and called again. It means he returned. And now he'll again try to hurt you. And I don't want to lose you again. So you'll not talk to him."

-"Jaan. Nothing will happen to me."

-"You said this that time also. But look what happened to you. Now I can't take any risk." I said holding his hand tightly.

-"Jaan..."

-"Please Faisal... Don't talk to him. He's very dangerous. He can do anything." I said and started crying hugging him. He caress my head.

"I love you very much Faisal. I cannot lose you again. I'll die."

-"Jaan. Look at me." He said and made me look at himself cupping my face. "This time, your Faisal will win."

-"Faisal please I don't......"

-"Mom's swear. I will win this time and that David will not be able to run away."

-"I trust in you but......"

-"No buts. I'll win means I'll win no matter what. This time I'll end this chapter of David from our story. For how long we'll live in fear? It's enough now. He has dared to hurt my Jaan, I'll show him hell. And even you'll not stop me from doing anything. Promise me today. Promise me that you will not try to come between me and him when I'll punish him. Promise me." He said forwarding his hand.

-"Promise." I said and hold his hand. "But you also promise me that you will not go alone anywhere. And you will not drive the car also. And you will not go anywhere, even for business. And you will........"

-"Jaan. Don't take so much stress. Please my love." He said caressing my hairs. I cried looking down and he hugged me again.

"Jaan... You're Mrs. Zoya Faisal Khan. How can you be afraid like this?"

-"This....." I sobs and speak "This is the reason..... I am Zoya Faisal Khan. Your wife. That's why I'm scared. That David wants to kill you. And if something happened to you......" I broke the hug and cupped his face. "No. I can't lose you again. One time I'd lost you but not again. That time I survived for other people but this time...... I will kill myself. I will not be able to live without you. I love you so much Faisal. I don't want to lose you. I don't want to lose you Faisal. I........" He pulled me closer and claimed my lips. He put his hand around my waist and pulled me on his lap. He held my face with one hand and started kissing me slowly. I held his shirt tightly and lean on to this feeling forgetting everything else.

After a long time he broke the kiss and touches our foreheads.

-"I love you Jaan. And I promise you that nothing will happen to me. I will not let anything happen to both of us. We will live together till our last breath and you will be only mine in our afterlife also. No one can separate us. I promise you that we will live together. And that David Or anyone will not be able to do anything. You're mine and I'm yours, till eternity. You trusts your Faisal right?" He asks looking at my face.

-"I trusts my Faisal more than myself."

-"I love you Jaan."

-"I love you too Mr. Arrogant." I said and he giggled. I also smiles looking at him. He kissed my forehead.

-"Now let's go and eat something. I'm too hungry." He said and we both went downstairs.

We had dinner and now we're sitting on couch in balcony. I am sitting in his lap leaning on his chest. Today the sky is clear and all stars can be seen. The wind is blowing softly and it's quite cold here but the warmth of his body is not letting me feel cold.

-"Faisal?"

-"Yes Jaan."

-"I want to say something. Thank you so much Faisal. Thank you for everything. We got separated because of some misunderstanding but now you're with me, my everything is with me. It's enough for me. I just want your happiness, nothing else. I'm telling you this because I want you to forget our bad memories. I want you to not think about anything bad and move on. I love you so much Faisal. And I want you to not feel guilty because of me."

-"You loves me this much?" He asked looking in my eyes.

-"I love you the most, even more than myself. I told you this before also, I can leave my everything for you. And I did. You want any other proof? Now don't tell me to jump off this balcony and prove my love. Because our new life has just started and I want us to live happily." I said and he just smiles and made me lye back on his chest again wrapping hands around my body.

-"Jaan?"

-"Hmm."

-"I sometimes think that what I had done in my life that God send you in my dark world. My cute innocent talkative wifey." He said pinching my nose.

-"Faisal!" I exclaims and he just laughs.

-"I'm so blessed to have you Jaan. Rehan said right that day."

-"What?"

-"He told me that one day I'll myself thank you for coming in my life. And now, I thanks to God everyday, everyday hour, every moment that he send you in my life." He said and I just smiles. "You know Jaan? After mom dad died, my belief on God vanished. I used to think that there is nothing like God and all. Roshni used to say 'Faisal, God loves you very much. One day he will send an angel in your life. And you will start believing in God again that day.' Roshni was right." He said and started looking at sky with pain in his eyes.

-"You miss her a lot right?" I asked. He smiles and speak

-"Yes. I miss her a lot. She did many things for me. But look what I gave her in return. Nothing. She got r*ped because of me and she commited suicide." He said and a lone tear escaped his eyes. I wiped his tear and cupped his face.

-"Don't blame yourself Faisal."

-"Then what should I do Jaan? That David........ Sometimes I thinks that I should kill him. But next moment I feels pity on him because he......." He stops speaking in between and closed his eyes.

-"Because what?"

-"Nothing." He said and removed my hands from his face. He made me got up from his lap and then he got up from couch. "Jaan. It's very late. We should sleep now." He said without looking at me and was going inside room but I holds his hand stopping him.

-"Everyone gave me some birthday gift today. But you didn't gave me anything. Will you not give me my birthday gift?" I asked and he turned to me. He put his hand on my arm and ask

-"Ask for anything."

-"Anything?"

-"Yes. Anything. I'll give you anything you want." He said smiling.

-"Think again Faisal."

-"Jaan. You have my words. Ask for anything."

-"I want truth." I said and he looks at me confused.

-"What truth?"

-"Truth about your past." I said and he move away from me.

-"Jaan. I will tell you on right time."

-"When will that right time come Faisal? It has been more than three years since we married. You always keeps ignoring this topic. I had never forced you to tell me anything thinking that you will yourself tell me one day. But that day didn't came yet. You told me that the reason of your cold behavior and distrust towards me is your past. But I didn't asked you. I met David and you told me that he's from your past. I didn't asked anything. Then that Fiona came. I asked you that who is she to you. Why you were scared of her but you don't told me anything. Then I had to ask Rehan Bhai and Lucifer Bhai because you got so much angry on me. They only told that she adopted you after your mom dad died, and you were scared because she and David used to torture you and they didn't even have you food....." I stop imagining my Faisal in that condition. I sighed and speak. "I asked that why she adopted you. They said that Faisal will himself tell me the rest. But when will Faisal tell me everything?"

-"One day." He said looking down.

-"When will that day come?! When I'll die?!" I shouted and he held my arms tightly.

-"Jaan! You know why I'm not telling you anything? Because you'll hate me after knowing it."

-"You don't trust your Jaan?" I asked and he left my arms and turns.

-"I trust you. But I don't trust my past."

-"A secret can break a relationship Faisal. But our relationship is very strong that even God himself can't separate us. Then how can you think that your past will separate us? You accepted me even after knowing that I cannot give you child. Then how can't I accept your past? I trust you and I love you more than myself. I can hate myself but can hate you? Never Faisal."

-"You will even hate my existence and will leave me like everyone else."

-"I will leave you? Oh...... Now I understand." I said and laugh sarcastically with tears. "You thinks that I will leave you because I left you in past also? Now I understand that you don't trust me a bit." I said and he turned to me.

-"It's not like that Jaan. I trust you."

-"You don't trust me. That's why you're not telling me anything."

-"I trust you but my past is not letting me trust you about this topic."

-"Again this past! You says that Jaan don't be afraid of anything. You're Mrs. Zoya Faisal Khan. But how can I not be scared of David when I don't even know the reason of his vengeance?" I said and started crying. He forward his hand to hold me but I move away from him.

"You know what Faisal? You don't drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying there. And here water refers to your past. And you're not alone who's drowning here, you're causing me to drown with you. You're playing with me and my life." I wiped my tears and looks direct in his eyes.

"You just thinks about yourself. You don't cares about my feelings. You don't even know that how I feels after knowing that my husband is hiding everything about himself from me. I left my everything for you Faisal. I left my studies, I left my parents, I left my various habits because they don't fits with your standards, I left my dream, I left the real Zoya. But here you can't left your ego."

-"Jaan..." He whispers. I show him my palm and said confidently.

-"You're a selfish man Mr. Faisal Khan. You don't trust me then why should I trust you? In relationship of husband and wife, according to me trust, respect and love are the most important things. You didn't respected me, didn't trust me and love......." I chuckles and speak "When you can't trust me then what will I do with your love? And you says that I'm your family. But in family, we trusts. And it's my right to know everything." I said and walked inside room. I walked towards the door

-"Where are you going?"

-"To my old room. When we don't have anything between us that husband wife haves then why should I live in same room with you? I am going to my old room, the day you will be able to trust me. I will come back here. Until then don't even try to bring me back here." I said and went out of room. Before closing the door I said

"Your selfishness is the reason why everyone left you, not your past." I said and went to my old room leaving him behind.
