Chapter 311.1
Sir Your Wife Already Signed the Divorce Paper
Chapter 311.1 Frustration(1)
Troy clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white, and the veins on the back of his hand protruded. A trace of darkness flashed in his eyes.
He believed Leoâs words.
They grew up together, and no one understood Leo better than he did. Leo was indecisive, hesitant, and lacked the courage to act on his mischievous intentions. Surely, someone was behind him, pushing him to act in such a way.
Had it not been for Sarah, the brothers might never have reached this point!
Yet, Leo was also undeniably involved in the root of their problems.
Troy was truly frustrated with him.
âNot long ago, Agnes mentioned she found out youâve been in contact with another womanâ¦â
âIt was Sarah,â Leo looked up and said. âSheâs been sought after by your people. She sneaked in to see me, and we had a fight.â
The scratch marks that Agnes had seen on Leoâs neck at that time were inflicted by Sarah.
Yet Leo couldnât speak out, watching her struggle in pain, becoming depressed and haggard.
To be honest, now that Troy knew everything, Leo felt somewhat relieved. He no longer had to live in constant fear and anxiety.
Troy snorted coldly, âAfter she caused Grandpaâs death, she still dares to approach youâ¦â
Speaking of which, Troy paused, suddenly recalling something. âGrandpaâs deathâ¦!â
âYes, Grandpa didnât die because of you. It was because of me⦠I let him downâ¦â Leo said painfully, closing his eyes.
Back then, Sarah had confessed everything in front of Henry, framing everything from her staged kidnapping to the death of Ignacio onto Leo.
Henry could never have imagined that the everâgentle and humble Leo, his eldest grandson, would be involved in a manâs death.
And that man was none other than Imogenâs father. Leo had even attended his funeral, behaving as if nothing had happened.
Henry was deeply hurt and utterly disappointed. He always saw himself as a man of justice and was very saddened by Ignacioâs death. To learn that the perpetrator was his own grandson was a huge blow.
Troy clenched his teeth, slamming his fist into the wall again. The impact left his knuckles red and bleeding. âYou really deserve to die!â
No wonder.
No wonder the will left by Grandpa was so peculiar.
Leo looked at the ceiling despondently and said, âYes, I deserve to die! Have you decided how to deal with me?â
Troy glanced at Leo and, unable to restrain himself, kicked Leo in the leg.
Supporting himself, Leo staggered to his feet and headed towards the exit. âIf you havenât decided yet, Iâll head home first.â
As he reached the door, Troyâs voice came from behind. âSpend some quality time with Agnes
these daysâ¦â
Leo paused for a moment. âI know.â
Imogen sat in the office until it was dark. Just when she was about to lose her patience, Troy finally returned.
As he walked in, Imogen shifted her gaze from the book she was reading and looked up. âWhy didnât you answer when I called youâ¦â
Before she could finish, she opened her mouth in shock. The Troy standing before her looked entirely different from when he left earlier.
There were bruises on his face, his hair was a mess, his collar was askew, and his tie hung loosely on his chest. His suit was wrinkled, making him look utterly disheveled and without his usual poise.
âTroy⦠did you get into a fight?â Imogen instinctively set her book down and stood up from the sofa.
Troy stood still, his gaze fixed intently on Imogen, something stirring in his eyes.
Seeing him silent, Imogen took a step forward, tilting her head to ask cautiously, âWhatâs wrong? Why are you staring at me like that?â
