There was a moment of silence before Imogen spoke up. “No, I still visit Grandma at the Marshall villa when I have time.”

“Why did you suddenly establish that crappy foundation then?” Troy questioned.

Facing Troy’s question, Imogen remained calm and collected. “I just felt that the money wasn’t of much use in my hands, so I donated it to those in need.”

As a left–behind child herself in her childhood, Imogen was recently informed of Irene’s identity, which brought back some memories from her past.

Coincidentally, she also wanted to dispose of her assets, which led to the creation of the foundation.

Her explanation couldn’t convince Troy anyway.

Giving Imogen a cold stare, Troy asked, “After donating all your assets, are you planning on leaving peacefully?”

Imogen hesitated and didn’t answer.

She really did plan on leaving after choosing a suitable vice chairman and other management personnel for the foundation during this period of time.

After finishing her role in the show, she could go wherever she wanted.

She was once able to give up everything for Troy.

At this moment, she could give up Troy for the sake of her future life.

As he looked at Imogen’s guilty expression, Troy’s anger couldn’t be suppressed any longer. His fury erupted like a volcano, engulfing his heart with thick fog.

His face was entirely gloomy as he kept a lowered gaze. “Why do you suddenly want to leave? Is it because of Leo? If Leo wasn’t the mastermind behind your father’s death, would you still lay the blame on me?”

Imogen had no doubt that if she dared to say no, Troy would create false evidence to clear Leo’s

name.

As she looked into Troy’s gloomy gaze, Imogen’s heart skipped a beat. She held her breath and responded, “I didn’t think about leaving.”

During the time when they were on vacation after divorcing, Imogen experienced Troy’s stubbornness.

She kept telling him to leave, but he kept following her.

No matter where she went, he could find her.

Therefore, if she wanted to leave, she would need to have a solid plan in place.

Before that, she had to stabilize Troy first.

“Really?” Troy raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. His sharp gaze seemed to peer into her soul. Imogen nodded calmly. “If I wanted to leave, I could just discreetly dispose of my assets and leave without making a fuss instead of establishing a foundation and waiting for you to come for me.”

In reality, she established the foundation because she didn’t want to hold onto the money.

“Imogen, why did you suddenly decide to establish the foundation?” Troy asked, raising an eyebrow.
