Chapter 5
Beauty & the Beast ✓
I had been checked out at the Hospital and cleared as healthy but they had told me to keep warm once at the hotel.
I sat down on my hotel bed and flipped on the TV. Thank goodness for cable otherwise I'd be bored out of my mind without a book to read.
I was too anxious after running into Nolan to sleep so I watched TV for about an hour before I yawned and felt tired.
I was snuggled into the pillows and blankets of the bed when my phone, which I had been charging, rang.
I picked it up with out checking to see who it was.
"Hello?" I greeted.
"Miss Farmen, correct?" A female voice on the other line said sounding worried.
"Yes." I replied.
"Uh, it's Nolan." She began but was cut off my a loud roar. Or almost roar. It sounded like someone was yelling my name.
"He's frantic looking for you. It would seem you imprinted on him." The woman said quickly.
"We need you here now." She said before hanging up.
I groaned and pulled myself out of bed. I pulled on my shoes and a jacket which I had purchased upon my arrival.
Then I made my way to the hospital. The hotel was close enough for me to walk there in less than five minutes so I got there fairly quickly.
I walked into the lobby and could hear the struggle upstairs and Nolan screaming my name.
All of the medical staff seemed very tense and anxious but were relieved and excited even to see me.
I walked into Nolan's hospital room and saw him glaring at the doctor and he froze when he saw me.
In less than a second I was pulled into his heaving chest and he was running his hands all over me.
"Hazel." He muttered over and over again.
"I'm here." I whispered to him as he sat down on the hospital bed, setting me in his lap.
"My Hazel." He muttered again until we were both asleep. Exhausted from our eventful day.
