157 HanChen CP

“Who are you two calling crazy?” asked Zi Han while wiping the chair he had just stood on, “you wanna see crazy? Let me show you crazy.” As soon as he said this he pulled at the elastic bands on Shorty’s wrist and with a loud snap it hit the boy’s skin.

“Ah.... shit. Zi Han, you are so heartless.... ow,” he said holding his wrist while writhing with his eyes closed.

Zi Han held out his wrist which was also red from Shorty pulling on his rubber band and said, “You clearly started this game.”

Shaun leaned back into his seat and said, “I take it back. You are both crazy.”

Zi Han sat down and pulled on Shorty’s arm to take a look. Seeing that he had taken the bait Shorty whined before making a request,

“The only way I can forgive your transgressions is if you compensate me with an autograph signed by my goddess,” he said with great confidence.

Zi Han, “.....”

He should have known that this was a trap from the beginning. Shaking his head he ignored Shorty who was playing pity party on his lonesome.

With a slight quirk at the corner of his lips, he tapped his light brain and soon a chat interface between him and Yi Chen popped up.

As soon as the message was sent he glanced over in Yi Chen’s direction. Zi Han watched him open his light brain and glanced back at him.

Yi Chen’s brows rose and lowered in a barely-detectable manner before he looked away. This was an unconscious sign of approval.

Zi Han pressed his lips together suppressing a smile. One might wonder why was he being so obedient and trying to please Yi Chen? That’s because those hands did something special to his back muscles thus he was sucking up to Yi Chen.

This daddy had such gifted hands so how could he not put on an obedient act? He could have just put away the shark plushy but he also wanted Yi Chen to see his sincerity thus he made that announcement.

He put away the smile while raking his fingers through his hair. They were about to have mock exams soon hence he had to get back to his studies.

Meanwhile, Shannon who had been unusually silent all this time suddenly turned to look at Hela. When their eyes met she mouthed, “Did you see that?”

Hela licked her lips as two dimples appeared on her cheeks. Like Shannon, she had seen everything and wow.... the amount of fluff was beyond words.

GoddessOfDeath: This ship is definitely sailing

PrettyLace: AAAAAHHHHH!

PrettyLace: That smile was to die for.

GoddessOfDeath: Should I send the class president the drawing?

PrettyLace: Let’s see his reaction.

With a creepy smile plastered on her face, she closed the chat interface only to be met by her twin brother’s probing gaze like he was interrogating her.

“What? Stay the fuck out of my business,” she said with a warning glare but Shaun didn’t back down. He narrowed his eyes before saying,

“You are up to something shady aren’t you?”

Shannon put on an innocent expression and replied, “You are imagining things,” before looking at the light screen on her desk like she was seriously studying.

Yi Chen who was analyzing his previous mech repair simulated in the light screen heard a prompt coming from his light brain. Thinking it was Zi Han he opened it but the slight quirk at the corner of his lips fell when he saw it was Hela.

While he was still deciding whether he should open it now or not another message prompt appeared and it read;

GoddessOfDeath: You are going to want to see this.

Yi Chen glanced over in Hela’s direction. Because she wasn’t expecting him to look over in her direction she had a devious look on her face.

Caught in the act her eyes widened before she abruptly looked away pretending as though she was talking to her deskmate. Yi Chen’s brow creased and he opened the message.

Yi Chen clicked on the image and his heart jolted in astonishment. He was highly amused but he attempted to dial it back by stifling his smile. He might have succeeded but Li Ran clearly noticed.

He was pushing back his bangs with his elbow resting on his desk when he saw a slight upturn at the corner of Yi Chen’s mouth.

“What is it?” he asked but Yi Chen shook his head while responding,

“It’s nothing.”

It wasn’t nothing at all. It was the cutest Chibi drawing of him and Zi Han arguing about training yesterday. She even included a cute little shark with a puzzled expression as though trying to figure out who to go home with.

Without much thought, he sent Hela a gift card for his mother’s boutique before closing the screen. He glanced over in Zi Han’s direction from the corner of his eye.

The person was wearing a rarely seen serious expression while his finger playfully twirled a strand of hair. Yi Chen lightly bit his lower lip as the corners of his lips rose. He looked away but as he shifted his eyes away he was met by Li Ran’s questioning gaze.

The two silently stared at each other with the slight smile on Yi Chen’s lips faded away ages ago. After a moment of silence, Li Ran said, “You are hiding something from me, aren’t you? Ha.... and here I thought we were friends.”

Yi Chen sighed before saying, “I will tell you when the time is right.” Li Ran would have much preferred they talk about it now but knowing Yi Chen’s character he won’t be able to get anything out of him unless he takes the initiative.

Shannon glanced over in Yi Chen’s direction but her view was blocked. Disappointed she looked in Hela’s direction and leaned over before mouthing, “Did he say anything?”

Hela made sure Yi Chen wasn’t looking before she showed her the gift card. There was no need to speak. The gift card spoke for itself. Shannon snickered while Hela covered her eyes feeling a little bashful. This was turning out to be the best day ever.

Three classes in and Zi Han was desperate for a change in environment. Lucky for him today they had an early training session. Thinking he could brush up some goodwill with Yi Chen he hastily changed and rushed to the training room intending to partner with him.

But as he walked over he saw Li Ran standing by Yi Chen while asking, “Wanna partner up? It’s been a long time.”

Yi Chen, who was stretching his arms asked, “Don’t you always clamor to partner up with Hela?”

Li Ran who always got his ass kicked by her shivered all over before responding, “Yes but when I spar with her it’s more like a beat down rather than educational training.”
