196 I think I am gay

With that humiliation sinking in she lay on her bed drinking like a fish her composed image as a model gone. Ikeda Crest who heard part of the story from his sister’s assistant came to pay her a visit.

When he got to her villa the lights were off devoid of that ever-present spiritful atmosphere which was quite unlike her.

“Yua...,” he called out while taking off his coat as the lights came on.

He heard sounds coming from above the stairs and when he looked up he saw his drunk sister standing there with an aggrieved look. “You shouldn’t have come,” she said leaning her body against the railing.

“You cancelled your photoshoot and switched off your light brain so how can I not come?” he said walking up the stairs to meet her. He brushed the strands of hair sticking to the side of her face and asked, “Did you eat?”

“Why do you care? she said swatting away his hand, “you all pretend to care but you don’t. You all said our Yua Yua is beautiful and how can he not like you but what happened in the end?..... You are all fuckin liars. Now go away!”

After her heartfelt drunk speech, she staggered back to her room and with a bang closed the door.

Ikeda Crest pursed his lips as he watched that closed door for a while. Her mother had indeed brainwashed her telling her she deserved the best and the best in the federation was Yi Chen.

If Ikeda Yua managed to achieve this then their mother would whitewash the tag of homewrecker that was on top of her head for years.

But who would thought the Marshal’s son would have someone in his heart already? Ikeda Crest didn’t want his sister to be heartbroken anymore thus he called his father as he stood in the kitchen waiting for the food he had ordered for her.

“Unless if you are bleeding to death in a dark alley hang up the call,” said the man with a stoic expression as he read the documents.

Ikeda Crest was angered by these words but he held back changing his words.

“Yi Chen isn’t interested in her. He already has someone he likes,” he said aiming to advocate for his sister but his father didn’t respond for a long while.

It was only after three minutes of endless silence did he speak but he only said one word, “So?”

So? So don’t keep insisting she gets with Yi Chen. So don’t value her worth in the family by forcing her upon someone who doesn’t like her at all. So let’s find another way to attain military control. Ikeda Crest thought it but he would never dare say it.

“What is your point? I had someone in my heart but for the sake of my family, I sacrificed everything. Love is fleeting, family is what’s important,” said prime minister Ikeda his eyes bloodshot.

“Go encourage her. I will deal with it in the background,” he said before the screen turned black signifying the end of the video call.

Ikeda Crest stood there with a foolish expression for a very long time his thoughts chaotic. He would like to fight for her and remove her from this toxic environment but she also wouldn’t let go.

Aside from Yi Chen, she loved the lavish lifestyle that came with being an Ikeda family member. If he takes her away all that will surely be gone. One couldn’t defy their father’s rules and still benefit from the wealth in the family. He was willing to give it up but his sister wasn’t.

He also realized that she didn’t know that if she fails to capture Yi Chen’s heart and gave up that would also mean she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the full benefits of being the legitimate daughter of the prime minister. Knowing his father he would most likely disown her and pick another illegitimate child to do it.

That was the sound of water being spat out of Zi Xingxi’s mouth when she checked on her messages. Thinking it was an emergency Lynn Feng leaned in towards the captain’s chair and her eyes widened in disbelief.

“Boss I swear I had nothing to do with it. I am innocent,” she hurriedly explained lest she gets accused again of bending someone.

Zi Xingxi, “.....”

“Well, someone is defensive,” said Secretary K while staring at Lynn Feng with a cocked brow.

Lynn Feng crossed her arms on her chest and said, “You really have the guts to provoke me, huh? Don’t forget I know all your secrets.”

While these two were arguing in the background Zi Xingxi’s head was spinning. Not that she had a problem with her son’s preference. The problem was who bent her son. If it was Yi Chen then she would surely go to her husband’s grave and scold him to come out and discipline his son.

She changed her Starnet username to show that she was still proud of him no matter what, well, except if Yi Chen was involved in this.

ProudMumZi: Okay.

ProudMumZi: Don’t tell grandpa yet.

ProudMumZi: You can tell him while I am around.

Zi Xingxi hesitated for a moment before sending this,

Zi Han glanced over at his grandfather sitting next to him while scolding his friends in the group chat before responding.

HandsomeHan: I can’t tell you that.

Zi Xingxi had a very bad premonition but since she said she wouldn’t interfere she didn’t directly ask the question she wanted an answer to. She could only show her son better-looking flowers out there that were waiting for a handsome young man like him. She had a feeling that if Yi Chen had anything to do with this he would be doing the plucking, not her son.

Zi Han wanted to say no need but since he had come out and she was enthusiastic about it then why not? He supposed it would be fun. A sweet smile appeared on his face as he typed.

What was he supposed to say? No grandpa, I recently discovered I am bent and came out to mum who offered to take me out to a gay bar.
