Li Ran pulled up the screen and said, “They have already sent a response team but I don’t know their estimated time of arrival. I don’t know how long we can keep this communication up though. Someone is really messing with Sheba and locking me out.”

Shannon turned to them and showed the center points of the explosion on the floating screen.

“This person doesn’t want to explode the entire federation. What they do want to do though is to blow us all up,” she said as she zoomed in on the radius of the recent explosion.

Yi Chen clenched his fist his mind racing. “Can we at least estimate where the other explosives are located?” asked Yi Chen and Li Ran pulled up the most probable locations.

“Alright... Send it out to everyone. We need to find them and deactivate them as soon as possible,” said Yi Chen and Shannon immediately sent the information out before they lost connection.

Because it was a matter of urgency Hela kissed Li Ran on the cheek and left immediately leaving the three men staring at each other.

Li Ran was over the moon but soon he fell back down when Zi Han said, “Why are you looking so happy? You call that a kiss?”

Li Ran, “...”

Yi Chen pulled Zi Han out of the room and they caught up with Hela. As soon as the elevator door closed Zi Han broke the awkward silence. “Look who is feeding us dog food now... You could have at least kissed his lips. I mean not even tongue or anything,” asked Zi Han with a teasing tone.

Hela was as red as a cooked lobster at this point. She was thin-skinned when it came to things like this thus she couldn’t help but blush. Hela closed his mouth and said, “Shh, if you tell anyone about it I will share my art work of you two with everyone.”

Zi Han, “...”

Yi Chen draped his arm over Zi Han’s shoulder and pulled him back his actions possessive.

Zi Han chuckled while saying, “As long as it’s not the NSFW kind.”

Hela, “...”

Yi Chen, “...”

“Wait she does?” asked Yi Chen his expression a little confused.

Zi Han pulled him out of the elevator while saying, “She does have the smutty kind and in her artwork, I am the one on top.”

It was then Hela realized Zi Han was lying. She indeed um... drew a few things before but it wasn’t too explicit and Zi Han was obviously... you know what, never mind.

Zi Han was just trying to loosen the atmosphere. This day had been the worst one in a very long time and sometimes it was just good to laugh through the pain.

When they reached the hangar Zi Han said, “You take this point and I will deal with the other one. Let’s get this done before dinner,” with a beaming smile on his face.

He was about to summon Igneous when Yi Chen grasped his wrist and pulled him back before planting a long blush inducing kiss filled with romantic and lustful energy. It gave off the same vibes as when men left for war in world war two and kissed their wives and girlfriends at the train platform before the train left.

By the time Yi Chen was done with him, Zi Han was so muddle headed. It would be a miracle if he could operate a mech without using Igneous.

Hela who had been standing by the hangar just shook her head but in her mind, she already had great inspiration for her next artwork. She would name it farewell before war kiss.

Zi Han looked at her and said, “Now this is how you do a farewell kiss.”

Yi Chen wiped his lower lip with his thumb before saying, “Why do you have to brag about it?”

Zi Han just chuckled as he leapt out of the hangar into a cloud of snow before Igneous shot up into the sky.

“Be safe out there,” she said before she leapt out of the hangar as well.

“You too,” replied Yi Chen before he jumped off as well.

While the three and other squads were looking for these explosives, Zi Xingxi came back onboard Han warship, and her expression didn’t look good at all. It turned out that even the three calamities couldn’t break through that shield.

She just wanted to know who on earth planned all this so she could kill them. The person who actually planned this was playing patient while watching what was happening in the snowy mountains.

Prime minister Ju had set the second explosion as a warning to the Marshal. He planned on continuously detonating a series of explosions until the man yielded. Everything seemed to be going according to plan so far and just like two decades ago his plan was flawless.

Well, that is until he checked his secure light brain. What he found out had the smile on his face gone. Someone had messed with his flawless plan and managed to restore Sheba’s transmission within the parameter of the mechs. They were able to locate each other and from the looks of it, they had even managed to send an SOS message to the Loch Ness Star military headquarters. On top of that, they had located his explosive devices and they were looking for them.

“Shit, shit, SHIT!!” he yelled in frustration. He immediately cut off the restored transmission but ten minutes later it was back on.

He didn’t think anyone could compete with him when it came to hacking but today it seemed he had met a very stubborn little white hacker with massive experience.

He decided to pull up the footage of all the bases and sure enough, he saw Li Ran sitting there while poking holes into his plan.

Since he wasn’t in the best condition to do this back and forth he decided to fry the entire base and that’s exactly what he did.

A slight quirk appeared on his face as he watched the little idiot swear after every electronic device in the base was destroyed.

Having done that he pulled up the footage he placed around his explosive devices blending in with the snow and to no surprise, those brats had found them, one after the other.
