367 A bun in the oven....

The pair of mother and son laughed noisily and in a gleeful way like they weren’t sitting in a hovercar on a stakeout.

“Come look. I have a surprise for you,” he said in the video as he pulled her hand.

Zi Xingxi who was recording the video said, “I have a surprise for you too.”

Yeoh Jun stopped moving and turned to look at her with a look of anticipation in his eyes. “What?... What is it? Did you finally get me that outfit we talked about... you know for our late night...,” he said only for her to cut him short.

“Don’t say it. I would love to show your reaction to someone special in the future so watch your mouth,” she said her voice soft like that of a woman speaking to her lover.

Yeoh Jun seemed a little confused but he just quirked his lips slightly while saying, “Okay... How big of a surprise is it?”

Zi Xingxi took out a tiny box and said, “Open it,” before handing it to him.

He took it from her seeming a little vexed. When he opened it his eyes seemed even more confused than ever. He pulled the chain out and asked, “A keychain?... Why would I need a keychain of an oven with... with a tiny bun inside. It is very cute though wait... wait wait wait bun in the oven... Are we pregnant?”

“Yes, just found out today when I had my physical exam so yep... you are going to be a daddy,” said Zi Xingxi while her boyfriend was looking at her with a stupefied expression.

After processing this unexpected piece of information for a moment he finally said, “Marry me...”

“Please marry me... I will, I will take care of you and our child. I will take... take great care of you,” he said his mind the informatio processing the information faster than his speech which was lagging behind. He was so excited that he could barely contain himself going on one knee feeling nervous.

“Isn’t it a bit abrupt?” Zi Han heard his mother say in the video her voice tremulous, “My dad will kill you.”

“Then I will die a happy man. I love you Xixi... I love you so much and I want to grow old with you. You are my world. Will you marry me... please,” he said again his eyes glistening like those of a puppy.

“Of course, I will marry you. Why wouldn’t I? I told you the day I said I love you was the day you could never get rid of me,” she said and the expression on Yeoh Jun’s face was so priceless it almost made Zi Han cry.

The footage ended with a scene that Zi Han shouldn’t have heard. The camera was skewed and Zi Han heard his father saying,

“Wait wait wait... isn’t it weird if we, ah Xixi wait. Isn’t it weird if we do it with the baby inside? What if we poke his head or something?”

Zi Han, “...”

“It’s the size of a pea. Even if you poke it it won’t remember anything,” his mother replied before the camera blacked out.

Zi Xingxi chuckled while saying, “Well that wasn’t meant for your ears haha.”

Poor igneous that was nth time he went into hibernation running away from the pair who were doing stuff in the cockpit.

Zi Han was about to say something when Secretary K sitting in the front said, “Sir, the target is leaving the premises and he has several bodyguards surrounding him.

Zi Han looked at his mother who was putting out her cigarette bud. Zi Xingxi stared at him and said, “What? It’s your contract. I am just here as your moral support.”

He turned to look at secretary K and said, “Get them to grab him and they shouldn’t be discreet about it.”

Zi Xingxi’s eyes brightened as she said, “Ohhh, we are going with the ‘let the world know he has been kidnapped’ scenario instead of the ‘mysterious disappearance route’, cool.”

“Why are you more pumped up about this than I am?” asked Zi Han as Secretary K issued an order through the communicator.”

Zi Xingxi’s gaze shifted to the target who was being carried away like a concubine being sent to the emperor’s bed to serve. The so-called S-ranked bodyguards were lying on the ground unable to move even a finger.

“Because this is my baby’s initiation into the Bloodgarde. We will throw you a party and I have a special surprise for you,” she said clapping her hands like a proud soccer mum at their baby’s first game.

Zi Han didn’t even bother asking what exactly she had planned. He just moved his legs slightly as the door opened and the bound Mr Croft was placed in the hovercar.

He wiggled around like a worm trying to sit up. The hovercar that was parked on the side of the road began to move with the people who were lying on the ground a minute ago now running after the hovercar on foot.

They had let their client get kidnapped right outside their home so yes they weren’t thinking straight because they pursued on foot for a while which was pretty comical.

Young master Croft finally sat up and when he saw the two faces he had only seen and heard of on StarNet his heart sank as beads of sweat began to form on his forehead.

Who didn’t know the queen of the underworld and her demon child? Okay fine, that was overkill but one can understand why he felt that way.
