Kill me.
Kill me now before I kill Vincent.
Darya had left the room and I was now sitting alone with that prick. He sat in his corner staring at the computer screen, while I sat in my corner. His cell phone vibrated and he chuckled softly as he read the message.
My wolf was on the edge, standing with his back arched and fur pointed at the end. One wrong move from Vincent and I was ready to slaughter him.
We were in the Providence Peak Hotel of Regal Pack. Cable has been staying here from two days and we had still not spotted him yet. He has locked himself inside his room and I frowned, wondering if that fucker was still sleeping. It was twelve in the afternoon now and we have been watching the camera since ten in the morning.
There were many people involved and each had some role to play to deceive Cable. Yet, there was no sign of him.
I growled in frustration as I saw no movement outside Cable's room. Everyone was waiting just to leap into action, but there was no sign of Cable at all. We had to do this right today. It was the only chance. If we lose Cable today, then we lose him for months. He won't surface until he is sure no one is looking for him.
As I sensed eyes on me, I turned to glare at Vincent who returned the glare.
"Wonder how she puts up with you" he muttered after sometime.
"Shut the fuck up" I hissed through gritted teeth.
"Then again, both of you are stubborn mules" he taunted.
Mules? Did he just call us mules?
"I said shut the fuck up" I breathed out curtly, staring at the computer screen. Vincent snorted and I clenched my fists. I swear I am going to use my gifts on him now, because he clearly doesn't understand the meaning of shutting up.
"Just stating the fact" he said with a shrug. "You guys deserve each other." I couldn't figure out if it was an insult or a compliment.
"Is that how you convinced yourself?" I derided and smirked when Vincent turned to look at me. "When Darya did not return your feelings?" I added cruelly and faint color marred Vincent's prominent cheekbones.
My wolf stomped his paws angrily as Vincent did not even bother denying it.
"I was warned that you could sense others emotions" Vincent remarked as I turned to stare at the computer. My guess the news went from Darya to Sabine to this prick. "But I also know that, that is not the only thing you can do" Vincent added and I tensed. The hell? How can this...?
"The brat isn't the only one who can figure out others gifts" Vincent answered before I could ask and I growled murderously. So, this is his problem with Quinn?
My wolf raised his head high and erected his ears. Slowly, seething, I turned my head to look at Vincent in the eye. When his eyes met mine, he blinked unprepared to face my fury.
"If you know what my gifts are, then you must also know what I can do to you without even moving a finger" I said threateningly and Vincent gulped, clearly affected by my power. I could already sense his wolf cringing inside him.
Vincent, though an Alpha, was younger than me in age and hence he could be easily dominated by me.
He turned his head and refused to meet my gaze. Growling once in warning, I looked at the screen.
"Apex Predator! That's what you are, aren't you?" he said after sometime and I closed my eyes in aggravation. "Your wolf knows it but you refuse to accept it" he added and I whirled my head towards him.
That's it! I am going to shut him once and for all.
Just then the door opened and Tyson Grier walked in.
"What is going on here?" he demanded when he saw me shooting daggers at Vincent.
"We were just talking" Vincent answered for him as I looked away. I had far more important things to do than lose my cool to Vincent.
"Take a break Sanders. You seem like you need one" Tyson murmured and with a feral growl, I stood up and walked out of the room.
I met Nevin and Ram in the corridor and they shot me a questioning look. "Tyson Grier is keeping a watch" I informed. "Go there and inform me when Cable shows himself" I said and they agreed.
I walked to an open balcony and placing my hands on the railing, I growled murderously.
The audacity of that fucker to admit to my face that he likes Darya! She is mine. I marked her and he should know better than to hit on my mate.
This is Vincent's last chance. Next time, I am going to separate his head from his shoulders.
"What are you doing here?" I turned my head to look at Darya, who was striding towards me, her golden hair fanning round her beautiful face. In a striped T-shirt, that was two different shades of pink and dark denims, she looked extraordinarily sexy.
My wolf rumbled in appreciation and as she strode closer images of her beautiful body erupted at my mind. A surge of heat rushed all over my body at that provocative image and I gritted my teeth as I acknowledged the fact that I never wanted a woman as much as I wanted Darya.
Shy color spread across her cheeks as my eyes gazed down at her. She stopped in her tracks and blinked innocently.
Enclosing a hand around her arm, I hauled her closer and pushed her against the nearest wall. Taken aback, Darya gasped and I used that opportunity to bring my mouth down to her soft ones. She tried to push me, but growling, I held her arms above her head and bit her bottom lip.
I kissed her until her lips were swollen pink. As my hands slid inside her T-shirt, I marveled at the silkiness of her peach skin and how she shivers whenever I touch her.
While I was trailing open mouthed kisses on her collar bone, Nevin connected with me through the link. My wolf growled in rage, for he thoroughly disliked being interrupted when he was with his mate.
'Sorry Alpha' Nevin whispered softly as I held caught a fistful of Darya's T-shirt. Before I could tear them, Nevin shared the news that Cable had stepped out of his room.
With great difficulty, I let go of Darya and took a step back. Leaning against the wall, she blinked in daze and watched me with eyes that were filled with lust. My wolf growled in pleasure as he saw her chest rising up and down, while she tried to regain her breath. My scent was all over her and now, every wolf would know better than to come close to her.
"Cable is out of his room" I said and Darya's eyes widened before she stood straight and growled murderously. Her eyes, which were already bright red, turned a shade darker after hearing his name.
'He is going downstairs' Nevin replied after I asked about Cable's whereabouts. 'The she-wolf is waiting for him there' he added referring to Sabine.
'Good. Keep informing me about the progress' I commanded.
'You are not coming here?' Nevin asked surprised.
'Not yet'
"Where is he?" Darya demanded with a growl of her own.
"Downstairs. He hasn't met Sabine yet. Go to the camera room and stay there" I told Darya.
"Where will you be?" she demanded with a frown.
"I have to go to washroom" I lied and Darya nodded.
I watched Darya until she vanished from my view. Once she was behind the closed door, I held the railing of the balcony and looked down. The hotel was in an uptown area and though not very crowded, it had a fair amount of customers and majority of them were humans.
The last three floors of the hotel were booked by us. It was where we were supposed to execute the plan. Now, standing in the twentieth floor, which was also the last floor, I stared at the ground. There was a swimming pool and people were lounging around it.
I stood straight and twisted my neck a few times, while sensing my surroundings and was relieved to note that there was no one around. Smirking, I jumped through the railing and while doing so, I used my gift.
I landed gracefully on my feet and marched ahead. If you are wondering about the humans around, let's just say that they did not see me.
"I feel so dizzy" one woman groaned as I passed her. It was the aftereffects of my gift!
"I want them all out" I commanded snapping my fingers, as I entered the lobby where Sabine and her parents were sitting. The Regal Pack wolves quickly got into action and escorted the humans in the area out. They protested, of course they did, but the dark annoyed looks of the wolves scared them and they were out sooner than possible.
At the same time, Regal Pack wolves got into action. Two took over the reception and others pretended to be cleaners, doormen and customers.
I spotted Sabine and her pretended parents in the lobby. When they saw me approaching, they stood up.
"Alpha" Sabine said in shock and then lowered her head.
The gift this she-wolf possesses is deadly because it can be used to kill if she ever loses control. She can basically lure any men with her beauty. Even the mated wolves can fall for her trap but not me.
Since I control emotions, I cannot be tempted by her beauty. My wolf growled proudly inside me and raised his head. He claimed himself to be something different which, like Vincent said earlier, I refused to accept.
The exception to this temptation rule is Darya because my wolf cannot stop wanting her or feeling strange things for her. I shook my head because I had to concentrate on the current issue.
I dismissed the Czar and Supreme Pack wolves who were pretending to be her parents. Once they were gone, I gave my full attention to Sabine, who was still staring at her feet.
"Look up" I commanded and her wolf trembled inside her. Slowly, she raised her head and then her lashes.
I stared at her dark brown eyes for a few seconds and then used my gifts on her. I changed her emotion of nervousness and anger to one of cool and confidence.
Her eyes turned gold and I sighed. Her nervousness was okay, but her anger will ruin everything. We were not using moon flower either because they will prevent Sabine from using her gifts. Hence, we had to be extra careful.
"You know the change in the plan right?" I demanded and she nodded. "Good" I muttered and she blinked unsurely.
'Where's Cable?' I asked Nevin through the link. He should have reached the Lobby by now.
"He is flirting with a waitress in the third floor" Nevin replied sourly.
"You will be staying here?" Sabine asked hesitantly and I cocked an eyebrow. The she-wolf turned beet red and then lowering her head, sat back in her seat.
'Q, he is moving. Entered the elevators' Nevin supplied through the link and I smirked. 'Also, Darya knows you are up to something. She is coming downstairs' Nevin added and I exhaled.
"Look him in the eye and do whatever you do before he runs" I told Sabine and she furrowed her brows.
I started walking backwards and once I reached the reception desk, I rested my elbows on them and patiently waited.
'He will be down in 3, 2 and go'
Just then the elevators door opened and Cable stepped out along with the waitress. I frowned in dismay because she was a human. Need to get rid of her!
Cable, who had a lazy grin on his face, stiffened when he finally caught on to the scents of wolves in the area. Slowly, he raised his head to look at me and I waved at him.
I watched as his skin lost all its color and he instinctively stepped backwards. His first instinct was to run, obviously. I could already see the alarm bells going on in his head. The elevator door, which was being controlled by Tyson Grier, closed at that precise moment.
Cable took another step back and collided against the waitress.
"Now" I commanded to Sabine and she stood up.
When he realized the elevator door was closed, Cable growled murderously and then turned his head.
But this time, he did not see me. Instead, he saw Sabine who came and stood between us. Once he looked, he couldn't divert his gaze from her because her skin was glowing.
This is why I call her gift deadly because Cable got so captivated by her beauty that he forgot he had to run to save his life.
The waitress gasped out loud as she saw Sabine's skin which got a nice gold radiance. The Czar Pack wolf, who was pretending to be Sabine's dad, knocked her out and another wolf took her away.
Just then I heard footsteps and groaned when I realized that it was Darya followed by some other wolves.
"You know where to take him" I told Sabine and she nodded.
"Will you come with me?" she asked Cable with an innocent voice and that fool nodded. I am sure he was ready to follow her to hell! She turned and slowly strutted towards the backdoor, while Cable followed after her.
Lust was seeping through every pore of his body and I did not suppress it either because I wanted him to feel that way until he reaches the venue.
"Make sure she is safe" I told the Regal and Czar Pack wolves who started following them.
"What the hell did you do?" Darya thundered walking towards me. Tyson, Vincent and few other wolves were behind her. "She was supposed to take him upstairs" she growled.
"Sabine is going to a place that I specifically rearranged for Cable" Tyson growled and Darya turned to look at him.
"You knew about this?" she asked in disbelief and faintest hint of color scored Tyson Grier's high cheekbones. With her mouth dropped open, Darya looked at me once and then blinked unsurely.
Her head then whipped towards Vincent, who was standing calmly with his guards. "You too?" she repeated and Vincent shrugged which made her growl loudly. "Since when did you become friends?" Darya snapped.
"We are not friends" Vincent and I said at the same time and when our gazes met, I glared at that prick and he glared right back.
"I thought you hated him" Darya hissed at me and I looked away. "Does everyone but me knew about this new plan?" she asked to no one in particular. When there was no reply, she threw her hands up, "Un-fucking-believable" she growled and one corner of my mouth tilted upwards.
"Why the hell are you smiling?" she censured, striding closer.
"No fun being in the dark, is it?" I quipped and her eyes rounded in incredulity. She has kept me in dark about the other part of the story. I can understand why she did so but it still doesn't stop me from getting annoyed.
"You did all this toâ"
"Prove a point? Not really" I interposed and she knitted her brows in perplexity. "Just wanted to give Cable the type of death he deserves" I said.
"Meaning?"
__
Fifteen minutes later, we were all in the Regal Pack prison.
Sabine entered a cell and Cable followed her.
"Enough" I told her and as she exhaled the gold radiance of her skin ebbed. When Cable snapped out, he looked around and growled repeatedly.
Zachary Timbs, Beta of Regal Pack threw a glass of moonflower fragrance on the floor, which prevented Cable from shifting into his wolf. When Cable grasped he was tricked, he rushed to attack Sabine, but before that Tyson Grier, Vincent and other wolves attacked him.
It was him alone against ten wolves and hence there was no choice of Cable winning. At the end, they started entangling chains around his body.
"Job done. Get out of the cell Abi" Vincent told her as two Regal Pack wolves tightened the chains.
Cable growled viciously as he saw us all. While he started snapping at the wolves who were tightening the chain, I turned his emotions from rage to fear and sensed his wolf shrinking inside him.
"Please, let me go" Cable begged with the guards and everyone were surprised to see this change because he was cursing a few seconds ago.
Darya looked at me and I winked at her. Immediately a blush rose on her cheeks and chewing on her bottom lip, she faced front.
Once the guards were out, I let go of the control I had on Cable's emotions and then he was back to his normal, venomous self! He was tied upside down with chains enclosing his hands and legs.
"You bitch! What did you do to me?" he demanded glaring at Sabine.
"Leave Sabine. You don't have to see this" Darya stated and Cable directed his glare to her.
"Go. Your parents are waiting for you in my house. The guards will take you there" Tyson told her and Sabine nodded.
Cable kept cursing at her as she walked away with her own guards as well as some Regal wolves. "What the fuck did she do to me?" Cable shouted expecting answer but no one bothered to give him one.
"Wrong question. The correct question is what we should do to you" Tyson said glaring at Cable, who bared his fangs.
Darya encircled her fingers around the metal chain. Immediately the current passed through the chains and Cable's body shook violently.
When she showed no sign of stopping, I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her back. She growled and wriggled furiously in my arms.
"Let go" Darya hissed grinding her even teeth against each other.
"Shhh" I whispered near her ear and she stopped fighting. Without actually realizing what she was doing, Darya touched my hand and I gritted my teeth as I felt the current. My wolf reacted immediately and as my gift activated, I felt no pain whatsoever even when her claws sank into my skin.
"Not so easily" I added and then looked at Cable who had lowered his head in exhaustion.
"Patience Darya" Tyson stated, his eyes fixed on Cable.
"Let's kill him and be done with it" she declared vehemently.
"Do you think I do not want that? To kill the man who hurt my mate and killed my unborn child?" Tyson demanded through gritted teeth and I glanced at him in shock. I did not know Cable had done that!
"Desperately" Tyson answered for himself as Darya slowly let go of my hand, which had already healed. "But I won't because Quillon is right" Tyson Grier said and then looked at me, "It'll be very easy and Cable deserves to die in the same way he killed others."
At this, Cable looked up and snarled, "You all will die. Konrad will not spare a single one of you."
"And who said we are going to spare Konrad?" I questioned cocking an eyebrow and Cable paled as if he realized for the first time that I was here.
He was terrified of me. It was palpable just by glancing at his blue eyes.
"H-He will" Cable protested weakly and I narrowed my eyes. "Once he finds out who the soothsayer is, he will kill all of you."
My brows pleated in puzzlement and everyone around me gasped after hearing Cable's words.
"What the hell are you saying?" Tyson demanded astonished. I turned to look at Darya, who was staring at Cable in disbelief.
"Stop pretending" Cable hissed and Tyson clenched his fists. "You people know who the soothsayer is and you have kept the person hidden from Konrad. But he found out there is a soothsayer the same day Darya saved Quillon's life. Now it won't be long before Konrad eats the heart of that person" Cable said with a chuckle and Tyson punched him in the face.
At the same time I recalled what Konrad has said to me the day he set fire to the daycare.
You missed the show Cable had arranged for you after killing the accountant, but Darya did not. Someone already warned her about the impending show.
Someone as in... the soothsayer?
Through the corner of my eyes I watched Darya who was standing ramrod straight, with clenched fists and firm jaws.
Does she know who the soothsayer is?
"Someone care to explain what the fuck this mutt is talking about?" Vincent demanded taking a step forward.
"He has gone insane" Tyson breathed out harshly.
"They know" Cable said to Vincent with a chuckle and Darya growled, "They all know who the soothsayer is" he continued in a sing-song voice.
"All?" Vincent asked and I glared at him.
'Is it possible?' Nevin asked me through the link.
I would have definitely refused to accept there would be another soothsayer if it weren't for the fact that Quinn and Vincent have same gifts. So, if they both have same gifts then it is possible that there is another soothsayer with exactly the same gift as Paulo.
"He is lying" Tyson Grier snapped as Vincent looked at him questioningly.
"Yes, we know who the soothsayer is" Darya said and every head in the room turned to look at her. "We also know what the soothsayer has predicted" she added and I furrowed my brows. "Don't you want to know?" she asked Cable, who bared his canines.
"Your death" Darya answered and before she could electrocute Cable, I held her arms and pulled her away.
"Don't" I warned her as she glared at me.
"Your secret is no longer a secret" Cable mocked and then turned to look at Vincent. It was evident that he was trying to turn Vincent against us by giving him more and more information about the soothsayer. And Vincent, without doubt, would start looking for the soothsayer.
"The bitch and her five Alphas' all know and are protecting her" Cable added and Tyson Grier snarled maliciously.
"Get my tools" Tyson ordered extending a lean hand.
"Her?" I asked. So the soothsayer is a girl?
"Kasey Grier" Cable spelt out and I raised my brows in surprise.
"WHAT?!" Tyson and Darya shouted at the same time.
"Your sister is a soothsayer?" Vincent said in surprise.
"No! She is not" Tyson snapped as a reply.
"The fucker is out of his mind" Darya hissed and then held the chains. Once again, she electrocuted Cable and he kept grunting in pain after she stopped.
She stepped back only to let Tyson cut off Cable's thumb finger. Cable screamed in pain while Tyson casually dropped his finger to the floor.
"I think she is" Vincent mumbled softly.
Darya obviously heard it because she shot Vincent a death glare, "She is not." Vincent just shrugged and leaned against the wall.
Kasey Grier?
Have to meet her now!
"Say any more lies, then you will lose them all" Tyson said cruelly, clutching a handful of Cable's blond hair.
Even in pain, Cable had the audacity to show his pearly whites. I clenched my fists when I noticed that.
"You want to save your sister, don't you?" he sneered and my wolf stood up aggressively. This is what I hate the most!
Information in exchange for freedom.
"I am ready to help you" Cable said and Darya huffed. "I am ready to tell you what Konrad's next plan is" he shared and I took a step forward.
"Sweet offer" I said as Cable looked at me through upside down. "But one I am going to pass" I ground out lethally.
"The offer wasn't for you" Cable said sourly and then let his eyes flicker to Tyson and Darya.
Tyson Grier tensed and turned his head to look questioningly at Darya. She just shook her head as a reply. He was about to protest, but Darya closed and opened her eyes in reassurance.
"No" Tyson growled out forcefully.
Cable was shocked to hear it, but then he gritted his teeth and started talking, "Fine. But when your see your sister's mutilated corpse, remember that you had a chance to save her."
At his threat, I snarled very loudly and then punched him in the throat.
Clutching a fistful of his hair, I raised his head so that he was in eye-level with me. "I can arrange your body in so many beautiful ways that even your mother won't be able to recognize you" I threatened through gritted teeth.
Cable swallowed audibly and I smirked cruelly.
"No further threats?" I mocked at Cable, when he did not speak for a long, long time. "Ah! I understand. You cannot threaten me with Konrad because you know he himself is scared of me" I said and Cable turned an ashen shade all over.
"You doubt Konrad's abilities" I stated stepping back with a satisfactory grin, as Cable looked at me. "That's why he was ready to have you killed."
My words were a body blow for Cable because he gasped out loud as his eyes almost popped out of their sockets.
"H-he... he...?" Cable couldn't even form a coherent word and I nodded because I knew what he wanted to say about Konrad's apparent 'betrayal.'
"Sad!" Darya remarked standing beside me, "But I don't feel any pity for you" she added with a shrug.
"And neither do they" I said and snapped my fingers.
Around fifty wolves belonging to seven different packs entered the prison.
"Recognize them?" Tyson asked when the wolves circled around us and growled repeatedly when they saw Cable. Darya, who was the only one unaware of this part of the plan, looked at them with wide eyes. "They are the kith and kin's of your victims. They have been craving your blood for years" he added viciously.
These wolves know how to kill Cable. They were parents, sisters, brothers, mates of those innocent she-wolves who were killed sadistically by Cable. I had asked Nevin to find out about them and when I informed them about the plan, they had all agreed to come and slay this bastard to his death.
"No... let me go. Don't do this" Cable began shaking his head and then he looked at me, pleadingly. His own parents had looked at him the same way the day he had chosen to go rogue. A day after the body of the she-wolf, who was also Cable's first victim was found, his parents committed suicide by consuming poison.
"Sinew Pack. There's a warehouse at Stonebridge. H-he... Konrad is staying there. He also has other hideouts but mostly he stays in Sinew Pack" Cable said breathlessly and I smirked.
Anything for his freedom!
"Insignificant" I said dismissively as Cable tried to free himself from his shackles. 'Check it out' I commanded as an afterthought to Nevin, even though I knew Konrad would never return to that place.
"Takeover" I told the wolves and they all bowed their head. Holding Darya's hands, I turned to leave.
"No.... no, no. Wait!" Cable said and I shot him an annoyed look. "Mate" he said and I narrowed my eyes.
"What?" Vincent was the one who said that.
"Darya and yours mating is going to cause his death" Cable almost shouted.
I glared at him in disgust as Darya took in a long breath from beside me. Hot color of Darya's blush went as far down as her chest. Her eyes were widened to their fullest extent as she gaped at Cable.
Is he fucking serious right now? Us mating? The fuck?
When I felt someone watching, I turned my head to look at Vincent who was staring at us, with tightly compressed lips. I growled in warning and he looked away.
Placing a possessive arm around Darya's shoulder, I walked her out with others following us. Cable kept calling our names, begging but soon it turned into deafening screams which were repeatedly pleading for mercy. Growls after growls could be heard even while we were going to Tyson's house.
Two hours later, we got the news that there was nothing left of Cable.
I raised my brows, impressed that the wolves took their time in torturing him to his death.
In those two hours, we had lunch in Tyson Grier's house where his rowdy son, Caden, was also present. I swear, the Alpha heir did not sit or even paused to catch a breath. Tyson's twin Tyler and their sister Kasey Grier were already present for the lunch.
What startled me was the way Kasey reacted when she met me!
"Quillon, this is Kasey Grier" Darya had introduced me to the fourteen year old brunette, who smiled softly at me.
"Nice to meet you" I had said and extended my hand.
She had stared at my hand for a few seconds, gulped and then shyly took it with her own small ones.
The moment our hand touched, I felt her body tensing. A split second later, she had jumped a few steps back and was breathing heavily. Her eyes had been flashing gold while she has stared at me apprehensively.
Her strange behavior had attracted the attention of everyone present in the room. I had stared at Kasey Grier with narrowed eyes, trying to figure out why she reacted the way she did. My wolf had started pacing repeatedly when he sensed her apparent fear, which had later turned into confusion.
She was a soothsayer right? Did she something about my future? Something bad?
Everyone kept asking her questions about her reaction, but she had answered no one and instead said her wolf was restless and she needed a run. She had left the room before anyone could ask her any further questions.
My eyes had once again flickered to the Vincent Evigan, who had smirked and raised his chin haughtily.
While I had been waiting for Kasey Grier, in the patio of Grier's house, the smug bastard had stood beside me and muttered, "Accept it. The sooner... the better!"
Vincent had moved away before my fist could connect to his face.
I knew what was the 'it' here he was referring to. My wolf had always wanted me to accept it but I just couldn't because I was not it.
Not an Apex Predator!
Just not possible!
I did not know why Kasey Grier reacted the way she did and I had intended to confront her but she did not return from her run. At least not until Darya and I, were out of Regal Pack territory.
__
Darya kept her phone inside her bag and then leaned back in her seat, "It's done. Cable is no more" she said with undeniable satisfaction.
"Thank-you" she said and I turned my head to look at her. "You did the right thing today" she added after seeing my quizzical look.
"Is that your way of admitting my plan was better than yours?" I demanded with a smirk.
"What?" Darya gasped. "No way! My plan was better than yours and it would have been excellent had it been implemented" she argued and I scoffed.
"The plan had so many loopholes. Even your five Alphas' thought it sucked" I admitted and she pinched her lips. Darya usually does that face when she has nothing to say in her defense.
They had not thought so but I believe they were doubtful of it. However, when they gave their acceptance to new plan, which Duncan Rhoades had shared with them, the doubt turned to certainty.
"How did you manage to convince Vincent? Did you invite him for a cup of teaâ"
"Shut up"
"Or did you call him and had a nice, long, personal chat withâ"
"I said shut up"
"Or what?" Darya challenged.
"Or I'll kiss you" I retorted looking at her mouth.
Darya gulped and then nervously licking her lower lip, she turned to stare at the road. However, a rosy blush spread across her cheeks.
As I turned to look, I noticed the way the corners of her mouth had curved upwards to form a shy grin.
Smirking, I directed my focus to the road.
Kasey Grier. Kasey Grier.
Interesting!
I have to know why she reacted oddly. I have to know what she saw.
But before all that, I want Quinn to find out just how good her gift is!

Hope you all liked it :)
So, what do you think is Kasey's gift? And what do you think she saw? ;) I am super excited to read your comments :D
Next update on 25th August. If possible, I'll try to update sooner. Key Word- Try!
Until then, please vote + comment.
Thanks :)
