Chapter 258 Which Hospital Paige grinned. “Sure! If you don’t like ‘Pug.‘ I’ll just call you Puggy‘ instead. Do you fancy that?”

Alex’s lips twitched as he responded, “Alright then, Pug‘ it is. But now, what’s on your mind?”

Paige replied, “I need your help to analyze something. My brain’s not cooperating.”

“Can you get me a drink?” Alex asked.

“Absolutely! However, I’m a bit cash–strapped from throwing Carol’s birthday party, so don’t choose an expensive spot!”

Alex chuckled. “I will definitely choose an expensive spot to match the nickname you’ve given me then.”

“Fuck you!”

Caroline and Naomi were searching for a clothing factory to fulfill their order quickly.

However, none of the five factories they visited could accommodate their request, as they were all booked months in advance.

Naomi suggested, “There are two more options. Should we check those out?”

Caroline replied, “Which ones are those?”

“MK’s clothing factory and-

“Nope, if the others are busy, I doubt MK will have any room for us.”

“In that case, we might have to explore factories in another city,” Naomi reminded her.

“Hmm. How many orders got canceled today?” Caroline inquired.

“Over 4,000 pieces. Many customers are waiting for G’s work. Who is this G person, and how can we collaborate with them?” Naomi expressed her confusion.

As they pulled up in front of their company, Caroline fell unconscious in her seat.

Evan had just wrapped up a meeting at MK when Reuben rushed up to him. “Mr. Jordan, Ms. Shenton is at the hospital Evan’s heart raced. “Which hospital?”

“Grand East. Shall we head there?” Reuben asked, “Let’s go!” Evan ordered Twenty minutes later, Evan reached the emergency room. He intended to look for Caroline when he spotted Neil.

He forced a smile and halted. He had nearly forgotten about Caroline’s peculiar relationship with Neil–

he felt like an unwanted extra on the scene.

Reuben sighed. “Do you still want to go in, Mr. Jordan?”

Evan turned away coldly. “Arrange for Caroline’s attending doctor to come upstairs to my office.”

“Yes, sir”

Ten minutes later, the attending doctor arrived at Evan’s office and bowed respectfully. “Mr. Jordan.‘

Evan leaned against his desk “What’s Caroline’s diagnosis?”

Reuben had already informed the doctor to be straightforward “Overexhaustion.”

Evan said, ‘Have you conducted a comprehensive checkup?”

*1 performed a complete blood count and discovered she is anemic. Is a full checkup necessary?‘ Dr.

Shepherd inquired.

Evan replied, “Find a reason to have her undergo a full–body examination. I’ll cover the expenses, and you can forward me the results.”

Dr. Shepherd nodded, saying, “Of course, Mr. Jordan. I’ll get on that.”

Evan turned to Reuben. “Check if there are any unresolved issues she is facing.

Reuben responded, “I already asked, Mr. Jordan. Ms. Shenton visited five factories but couldn’t secure any short–term collaborations.”

Evan thought for a moment before saying, “Assign her the clothing factory that MK recently partnered with.”

“Mr. Jordan, I’m concerned that Ms. Shenton might not accept such an offer given her personality, Reuben said hesitantly.

Evan paused before finally stating, “In that case, have Alex discuss it with Caroline on his behalf.”

Reuben nodded. “Understood.”
