Chapter 95 Find Out Who Caroline Is Evan halted in his tracks and turned around, his expression cold and unyielding.

“Caroline’s safety is none of your business.”

Neil clenched his fists in response.

“I won’t forgive you if she faces even the slightest harm!”

“Don’t tell me you’re interested in my woman!” Evan sneered and scoffed.

“Don’t cross the line! Daniella is still carrying your child, and she’s lying in the hospital ward.

While I can’t interfere in Daniella’s affairs, if you can’t protect Caroline, I’ll seize the opportunity to take her away.”

Evan’s eyes turned icy. “We’ll see if you ever get that chance.”

With that, his gaze shifted to a spot not far away.

Neil followed his gaze and saw Draco approaching with a furious expression. Neil greeted him, but his greeting was ignored.

Draco walked straight to Evan and berated him, “Why didn’t you tell me that your fiancée is pregnant? Have you no regard for me as your father?”

Evan snapped, “I told you to stay out of my affairs.”

“You shouldn’t have embarrassed our family then.‘

Draco slammed his walking stick forcefully against the ground. “And who is this Caroline? You shouldn’t have dallied with a seductress while being engaged to the granddaughter of the Xander family.”

Evan’s eyes turned icy as he locked his gaze with Draco, who appeared to have lost his sanity.

After a moment, he sneered and remarked, “I believe you’ve forgotten how my eldest brother and my second eldest brother came into existence.”

“How dare you!” Draco glared fiercely at Evan. “Shut up!”

However, Evan ignored him and turned to leave.

Draco then directed a sinister gaze toward his assistant beside him. “Find out who Caroline is.”

Hearing their conversation, Neil furrowed his brow He needed to expedite his investigation into Caroline’s identity If not, the Jordan family would not let her escape unscathed.

On the second day, after Evan had left, Caroline went downstairs to have breakfast.

Lily had prepared a nutritious meal for her, taking into account her overall well–being.

Caroline looked at Lily’s face with concern. “Does it still hurt?”

Lily chuckled. “It’s not the first time I’ve had such an incident, Ms. Shenton. You don’t need to worry about me.”

After a brief pause, Caroline asked, “Lily, do you have children? How old are they?”

Lily was taken aback. “Yes, I do. My son is married and has a family of his own now.”

Caroline continued, “Lily, would you be willing to come with me if I hire you?”

“Of course, I would be willing,” Lily replied with a smile. “I’d be happy to take care of you, even if the salary is slightly lower.”

“I’m going abroad,” Caroline explained honestly.

She thought to herself, ‘If Lily is willing, at least I’ll have someone to take care of me when I give birth to the babies. I’ll even have someone to take care of my children later, so I can study with peace of mind.‘

“Abroad?” Lily was slightly surprised.

“Ms. Shenton, you’re going abroad? For how long?”

“I’m not sure yet,” Caroline replied, pursing her lips. “Maybe for a year or two.”

Lily furrowed her brow. “I can go with you, but Ms. Shenton, is there a specific reason why you want to bring me along?”

Caroline hesitated, contemplating whether she should tell Lily about her pregnancy.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Lily immediately went to answer it. When she saw Draco, confusion clouded her face. “May I know who you are?”

Draco cast a cold glance at Lily before walking straight into the living room.

Caroline turned around and saw an elderly man with white hair standing before her, flanked by two bodyguards.

Naturally, Grayson spotted Caroline.

He narrowed his eyes slightly and asked, “You’re Caroline?”

Caroline nodded “Yes, I am ”

Draco signaled to his entourage, and one of the bodyguards approached Caroline.

“Ms. Shenton, my master would like to speak with you. Please have a seat on the sofa over there.”
