Chapter 341
Let Love Takes Away All This Pain
Chapter 341: Sudden Intimacy Jackson arrived with the thermos, 10 to 5:30, just in time for dinner.
The nurse saw him coming and left.
Alva put the book down and got up. âWhat did you cook?â
He was back almost three hours ago.
Jackson put the tub on the table and looked at her fondly. âGuess what.â
Alva laughs, âIâm sure I can guess this time,â nutritious soup and nutritious porridge.â
âAnd most likely itâs a stew of big supplements.â
Jackson saw the twinkle in her eyes and the smile in her eyes. âLooks pretty confident.â
âOf course.â
Rarely seen with such confidence, Jacksonâs lips parted and he opened the insulated bucket.
A pungent smell suddenly hit Alva, looking at the thermal bucket, is indeed a nutritious soup, or chicken soup.
Thatâs a hell of a catch.
Jackson took it out one by one, put it on the table, and then Alva stopped talking.
On the table were chicken soup, fish soup, bone soup, neatly laid out before her.
Alva could not laugh or cry when she looked at the soup.
âIâll get a nosebleed if I eat like this.â
Jackson touched her face. âWeâll eat together.â
Make it up together.
âAll right.â
After dinner, Jackson cleared the table. Alva said, âJackson, is Grandpa out of the hospital yet?â
Jackson a meal.
He called mom the other day after Alva was stable, checking on grandpa.
Mom said grandpa is recovering well and will be out of the hospital in a few days.
Itâs been a few days.
âShould be discharged.â
âWhatâs the matter?
Jackson looked at Alva.
âI want to see my grandpa when I get out of the hospital,â Alva said.
Jacksonâs hands stopped moving.
Alva said, âIâve been working with someone else for a few days, and everything is going well with him. I want to take two days off to visit Grandpa in Washington.â
Jackson looked into her eyes and clenched his hands. âOkay.â
He had not expected her to offer to visit Grandpa.
But she said it, her eyes were so serious, he was happy.
Three days later, Alva was discharged.
Jackson booked a flight to Washington the next morning.
If we said weâd get out of here and go to Washington, go.
Only, âIt seems to be a cold day.â
Alva walked out of the hospital and felt a chill.
âIs it cold?â
Jackson held her hand. It was cold.
âA little, I think itâs getting colder today.â
Thereâs no sun today. Itâs cloudy.
But she knew that autumn had been over for almost a month.
Itâs September now.
Cooling is normal.
âWell, blame me for not putting more on you.â
And he took her in his arms.
Alva starts and relaxes.
âItâs okay, isnât the car outside?â
Itâs only a few steps?
Jackson smiled, looked into her pale eyes, and kissed her on the forehead. âThatâs just as well.â
Alva looked stunned.
He had never kissed her so naturally outside.
Just the forehead, though.
Jackson saw the shock on her face and pulled his arms around her waist, clasping her in his arms.
Alva felt a steady stream of heat coming from his solid chest, gradually warming her.
She relaxed.
Look ahead.
At this sight, she pause
