Chapter 22

19.Visitor.

FORCED BRIDE. (Darkened Brides Book Series #2)

ROOHI.

I was just sitting in my room when a knock on the door approached.

"Roohi. We are leaving, " Sudha came and told me at the door as I stood to bid them bye downstairs.

"Are you okay? Did you guys fight?" she asked me looking at my sleepless self.

"We are okay," I said as I stood. And started to leave with her.  "I saw that Shanti was here. What a great coincidence you guys were childhood friends and now will maybe be wives together." She said smiling. She is my friend but she doesn't know entire things about me and my life. And I have no interest in telling her. I just nodded.

"Kids!" I said as I ran towards them and sat on my knees and hugged them.

"When will you come back?" they asked me as I smiled.

"I guess I'm quitting," I said to them as they all started to no and tell me to stay for them and come back to them.

"Sudha, do you have any interest in coming and living in Mumbai?" I heard Rudram's voice as he approached us with Rahul.

"It seems Roohi gets bored it will be great if you can just come here and teach," he said concerned about me.

"No, I don't want to leave these kids and my husband and in-laws are there too," she said explaining to him. And he nodded.

"Let's go kids I will take you towards the bus," Rahul said as he started to leave with the kids and Sudha, I bid my final goodbyes to them.

I was watching them going "I hope you don't mean what you said last night. It was just the heat of the moment."   he said hoping things were fine.

"Who were you going to marry? When you came to see me?" I asked him as his eyes rested on mine.

"I don't know. I never saw the photo or the person. But I wanted you. I saw you the first time out of the dance workshop when my car almost hit you. And I asked your brother for you when I saw you on the ground, drenched in water." he said explaining his words "It doesn't matter who I went to see. What matters is whom I wanted to see." he said as I couldn't hold back and hugged him tightly.

"Is it important to leave?" I asked him as he hugged me tightly too. "I am not getting a good feeling. Just don't go." I said to him as he shooked his head.

"I have to I'm sorry," he told me, I sighed. "But don't worry I am going to meet you soon. At my brother's wedding. Vivaan is getting married. So I will have to come back." he said telling me about one of his brothers, I nodded. "And of course daadu wants us to meet the family monthly evaluation daadu does to check on us," he said as I saw his face.

"Evaluation?"

"Hm. Daadu meets all his grandchildren once every month. But since I am not here. You have to." he said as I signed.

"I don't want to, your brothers are similarly much."

"I know that's why I want you to be strong. I will make sure that Rahul will be with you all the time," he said, I nodded.

"Okay. So I'm getting late for the flight. See you!" he said as he kissed my forehead and started to walk out of the door I followed him and went down with him and bid him farewell till his car left.

"When is his brother's wedding?" I asked Rahul who came and stood beside me.

"Just some time. There is no confirmation," he said.

"I'm craving Juhu Beach's pav-bhaji. Get me. "

"It's a one-hour drive I'm not gonna leave you alone here."

"I'm not a kid or dog that I will run away. I will stay home. Just go." I said as I turned and started to go upstairs through the elevator.

I came inside the silent house. I went up and started to get refreshed for the morning. I dressed in my casual clothes and came down when I heard a ring from the phone. I clicked the button as the receptionist talked.

"Ma'am you have a visitor. Asking for you," she asked as I thought who could it be?

"Who is it?" I asked her. She talked with the person as she came back on the call.

"They say you will be happy when you will see them," she said as I got worried who can it be?

"Send them upstairs," I told as I kept the call down. I went on the couch and sat as the elevator tinged at the door opened.

Aarav bhaiya.

I looked at the face as my eyes got teary and I was happy inside to see them after four direct years.

It was him,  his secretary,  his guards and then there was

Sukriti.

She was looking scared with her hands intertwined together. Why did they bring her?

"Bh-Bh-bhaiya" I stuttered at my words unclear of what this is all about.

"You seem very happy here. Ahh, I don't like it," he said as he walked nearer.
