Chapter 998: Work Consultation Room

Ning Shu wanted to interact with the other task-takers more. She kind of wanted to find out how they completed their tasks. She felt that it was starting to become a bit difficult to complete her tasks. She was stuck in the same place and also couldn’t get that many points. If things continued to go on like this, when would she be able to become a mid-level task-taker?

She was planning to head back when she saw a shop at the corner of the street. The shop’s name was Work Consultation Room.

He was holding a leather book. He glanced at Ning Shu, then said, “Have a seat.”

“What kind of life counts as a happy life? As a successful life? Power, money, status, or reputation. Achieving any of these counts as having a successful life,” said the man.

Ning Shu glanced at him. “Can you put it in plainer terms?”

“It means that not only do you have to fulfill the entrustor’s wishes, you must also help the entrustor obtain a happy life. Or perhaps the entrustor wants to become like a specific type of person. In that case, you should do your best to help them become that sort of person. For example, if your entrustor likes drawing and wishes to become a painter, if you complete these kinds of hidden tasks, you’ll naturally get plenty of points. Power, money, status, and reputation. If one of them is achieved, then the counter attack counts as successful,” explained the man in more detail.

Ning Shu’s eyes widened in realization. So it was like that? No wonder she sometimes felt that there were a lot of points and other times there wasn’t.

If she only helped fulfill the entrustor’s wishes, it doesn’t count as successfully counterattacking life for them.
