Chapter 177: Unable To Escape
Substitute Bride Phoenix, The Tyrant's Pampered Demon Empress
Thump! Han Moze violently kicked the eunuch. Useless!
Cough cough! The eunuch coughed quietly a few times.
âRoyal brother, Qingâerâs gone!â Han Moxi cried, as he rushed into the Dark Moon Palace.
The look on Han Mozeâs face was covered with maliciousness. Oh clan leader of the Blood Feast, youâre so naughty!
But he predicted such a day could possibly come. âLeave, all of you!â He roared.
âYes, Your Majesty!â The eunuchs and palace maids immediately left. The emperor was really scary! Although heâs so handsome, he had such a terrible temper.
Han Moze opened the windows and stared beyond the palace with a demonic smile. âIf you must blame anyone, then blame yourself for meeting me and for being just my taste in women. With you gone, who should I eat?â
Liu Rushuang delightfully fled to a low key courtyard, where she stayed with Qingâer in a very large room.
Qingâer looked over at Liu Rushuang and said in disbelief, âYoung Miss, we actually escaped just like that?â
The corner of Liu Rushuangâs mouth twitched. âDonât tell me you thought about being trapped in there for ten years before escaping?â
Then, she smiled affectionately at Qingâer and continued, âOr is that youâve already fallen for Prince Hengan?â
Qingâerâs face looked clearly uncomfortable. âNoooo. Young Miss, donât say that. I only ever think about staying beside you and taking care of you forever. I mean it!ân/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Mo Ye suddenly entered.
âDid you find out anything about Han Moze?â Liu Rushuang asked in a hurry, when she noticed Mo Ye.
Mo Ye furrowed his brows and said, âNo. The emperor of Beiming didnât send people to shut down the Blood Feastâs businesses.â
Liu Rushuang pulled a faint smile. âYou may leave.â
âYes, milady.â
âYoung Miss, donât tell me that the emperor really plans to find you?â asked Qingâer with furrowed brows.
Liu Rushuang silently pursed her lips. âDonât tell you want that tyrant to find me?! Itâs best if he doesnât find me. Maybe heâs already annoyed with me and wants nothing more than for me to be gone. After we finish dinner, letâs head back to Blood Feast headquarters.â
âAlright, Young Miss,â said Qingâer with a joyful smile.
The next day, Liu Rushuang suddenly felt an immense pain in her heart whilst mid-route on a horse.
Thump!
She fell off her horse.
Qingâer was left seriously stunned and immediately stopped her horse. She ran over to Liu Rushuangâs side and worriedly cried, âYoung Miss, wh-whatâs wrong?â
âH-h-hurry and t-t-take me to f-find th-that t-tyrant!â
Liu Rushuang laid on the floor with an extremely pale face and endless cold sweat dripping down from her head.
âOkay okay, Young Miss. You have to keep it together!â Qingâer immediately carried Liu Rushuang up and put her on the horse.
Then, she rode back.
It felt like something was biting onto her heart. The pain was excruciating!
That tyrant! How truly despicable!
Qingâer saw just how dizzy Liu Rushuang was. âYoung Miss, you have to hold on!â
In the evening, Qingâer took Liu Rushuang to the palace gates. âPlease pass a message on to the emperor. Tell him that Her Majesty the Empress has returned.â
The shadow guard hesitated for a moment, when Wuxin and Wuqing emerged from the shadows, kneeled and respectfully cried, âHail Her Majesty the Empress.â
The startled bodyguard on gate duty immediately kneeled. âHail Her Majesty the Empress.â
It really was the empress! But why was the empress outside and what was she doing out in the middle of the night?
Liu Rushuang let out a weak and very quiet voice, âT-take... me back inside.â
âYes, Your Majesty.â Wuxin and Wuqin took Liu Rushuang and Qingâer through a straight path with no obstructions and back to the Dark Moon Palace.
