The old man on the cart finally reached Tai City at noon.

The boss lady swept a glance at the disheveled Chu Qingchuan. Although she looked deathly white, she had extremely beautiful facial features, naturally arched eyebrows and a skinny, sharp face shape. My brother didn’t stay in prison for more than two years when he passed away from illness. My sister-in-law cried every day, and after my brother died, she passed away not too long after and this little baby was left all alone. However, Huangyue lived a lavish lifestyle, and so she didn’t know how to do anything when she came to the countryside. She didn’t even know how to hold up a hose. She’s really useless. Seeing as Huangyue doesn’t look back, I figured that I couldn’t fetch a few taels for her to head back and raise my hopeless sons.”

In his mind, the old man said, “His younger brother and sister-in-law are actually dead, and they did have a daughter. However, their daughter is about fifty years old now.”
