Chapter 9: Marriage

"Oh Lixue dear!"

Lixue smiled at the sight of her Majesty and the mother of Valdemar come trotting over in her large dress and a massive smile on her face.

She glasped his hands. "My dear I heard of the news. Your really staying with my son?" She asked hopefully. Lixue replied after. "That I promised him."

Eileithya cheered and hugged the omega elf. Lixue squeaked at the sudden squeeze she gave him and pulled away with an even more giant smile.

"Now the wedding I sure! Oh my son thought I was stupid to think that this last arrangement was all a fail! Bah, please." She waved her hand at the very thought of the past Valdemar. "Have he been treating like a true mate?"

"If us getting along means anything your Majesty, I will think so."

"Ah wonderful news! Now I had a feeling so I brought some thoughts on a dress for your wedding."

Lixue almost choked at her words. This was moving quick indeed. He almost forgotten they were in this arrangement for a reason but now that the reason was a success that means this marriage was going to a success. Oh dear..

"Come now. Lilly! I need you now in the sitting room! We have a wedding to prepare!!" She shouted after her Lady in waiting, the woman stood to her side and bowed her head. "Yes your My Lady."

Lixue was tugged along, the sight of Valdemar now coming from a side door with Vaayn next to him. They made eye contact and Lixue gave him a helpless look. Valdemar shaked his head in amusement.

The time for a wedding was vastly approaching. Since the proclamation that Valdemar and Lixue were in love at this point and acknowledged the immensely, Eileithya moved the wedding to the second week of the this year. Get it over with quicker before her son has his mind change or the two don't see eye to eye again.

The people were just as excited to finally have someone by their King's side. And the gossip have been so spicy since they've seen him following Lixue around.

Things like him smiling, that somethimes his eyes will glow and his pupils will widened with love.

"You can practically see the hearts in eyes when he looks at his fiancé."

"It's so cute no?"

"Our lordship is showing such emotions. Never thought I'd see the day he would smile so generously."

And so they went on and on about it. The wedding was boaster to. That is till Emperor Bastion, dropped by while the castle grounds were decorated for the special day.

The human blonde haired, purple cat eyed Emperor of the Western Kingdom, stood out of his extravagant white and gold carriage.

The man took in the beauty as he has always done when he comes to the dragon's territory. He walked to the open gates to which he was greeted by Vaayn.

"Emperor Bastion." Vaayn greeted with a respectable bow. "Counselor Vaayn. What a pleasure to meet you again."

"Yeh pleasure it mines. But..I will like to ask what is with your sudden visit?"

Bastion opened his fan and fanned himself. "Oh hun, why will I not come see my dear ally King Valdemar. Especially at a time like this great one."

Vaayn nods his head. "Yes it is very reasonable. Right this way then."

Bastion smiled and followed after Vaayn. The Emperor entered into the grande entrance of the Dragon's King domain, the servents busy at work for the wedding. One almost collided into him but he moved out of her way and gave her pleasent smile.

"Bastion I see your here to bother."

Bastion looks to the tall man that stood tall and overpowering as usual. He smiled at him like a friend would to another.

"Valdemar, now that isn't how you great someone who helped you through the war."

"Yes well the war was 20 years ago. Try again."

Bastion laughed out, holding his stomach and bending his back. "Oh dear friend you still haven't changed your attitude towards me."

Valdemar rolled his eyes but he didn't fight it back. You see Bastion was that one human he can deal with unlike Hadeon who makes him want to bash his head against the cobblestone walls a few times over.

Bastion is an ally and with an ally came a friendship King Valdemar here didn't expect or asked for. But it's here and he can't get rid of the human Emperor even if he wanted to.

"Why are you so interested with my love life? All of you." Valdemar asked as he turned at his heel.

"You sir have had an interesting love life since the sound of the first omega. After a you have been that prophecy that plague my father's mind. He was even there when the so said prophecy was born and brought the species all together!" He cackled at the memories and how the oldies told of the story. "Yes those times."

Valdemar rolled his eyes again and sighed. "Of course that is amusing to you. Anyways, how has your father been holding up with the medicine we sent?"

"Father has been going swell. Dear old daddy has been missing your grumpy face. He's requested me to tell you to come fly over and check him once in while. Or bring that Omega of yours."

Valdemar grumbled but answered in agreement. "I will see him. Tell him that for me when you get back."

"Why yes of course I will. Now that Omega. Please don't be shy." He smirked, patting Valdemar's shoulder. Valdemar gruffed and pushed open the doors.

Lixue and Eileithya were having tea and talking when they stopped conversating to the sudden drop in. Valdemar stood at the door.

"Mother we have a guest." Valdemar said and Bastion peeped out of the corner with a vibrant smile on his face. "Madame."

Eileithya gasped at the sight of Bastion. The woman was on her feet in seconds. "Bastion my darling! Oh how wonderful it is to see you!"

Bastion embraced the former queen and she to embraced him on her tips of her heels. "You as well. How have you been? You look as ravaging as ever."

Valdemar side eyed Bastion and his ober the top praises. His mother hits the Emperor and giggled. "Oh dear you and your compliments. You haven't changed since."

"No and I think my father hates it more."

She laughed. "Oh-ho you little rascal. I bet your wife adores that flirtatious ways of you."

"He does but yet hates when I use it with others."

Eileithya chuckled again. "Oh you and Eitir are to much."

The human Emperor chuckled at the mention of his and his fairy wife. But that wasn't the reason for his visit. "I know I and my beloved are interesting news but I'm here for the bigger news." He gestured to the two soon to wedded elf and dragon duo talking between themselves with the elf prince twirling a a pearl locked in the King's hair.

Eileithya melted at the sight with love. "Their truly made for one another. I think I made the right decision."

"Yes you did." Bastion cleared his throat after his gazing and caught the two attention quickly. Lixue pulled away and faced Bastion as Valdemar lazuli followed.

"Well introduce me to this lovely elf fiancé of yours Valdemar."

Valdemar puffed out smoke but answered. "I will like you to meet, Lixue Esher. My Fiancé. And if you come around with that flirtatious way of you I'm sending you back to your wife in closed box." The Dragon King threatened coldly despite their friendship.

Bastion raised his hands as to surrender. "My friend trust me. Eitri will have send me back with flowers in box." He said with a smile before folding them. "I mean no harm nor do I want to take him from you. Though, I am curious about the rest of his face."

"Keep being curious." He growled. Lixue smiled helplessly at the possessive behavior of Valdemar. "I did promise I will be by your side, did I not?"

"I trust you."

"Then calm down." He looked up to Valdemar. The Dragon King sighs again and released his inner rage. "Fine.."

Bastion breathed out in disbelief. "Oh you great beautiful elf you have done some justice. What is this warlock magic did you cast on this grumpy dragon of a man.

"Magic? No such thing at all. But the real truth shall stay as a mystery~" He winked at Bastion. The Emperor's lip twitched in way to smile.

The Emperor brust our laughing at what he heard. "Madame Eileithya you did a justice for us all."

"I just brought them together. That is all I did." Eileithya humbly responsed. "They just did the rest."

"Dear Lixue, my wife will love you. I shall bring him before with wedding so you two can chat. Won't that be right Valdemar?"

Valdemar looks to Lixue who beamed at the sound of a friend to talk with. More people he can hold a conversation. Just the things he was hearing he knew they will be great friends, at least he hopes so.

"I will love the company."

"Wonderful! Ah I can't wait for this wedding!"

"I can't wait to hold it!" Eileithya chimed in with him, clapping her hands and swaying with the thoughts of a wedding.

Valdemar and Lixue looked at each other and shrugged. This was going to be a pain but at least after this everyone will leave and they can spend time together..

Together..

[ Two weeks later...]

The night before the grand wedding. It would seem that everyone was attending who heard of the news or gotten an invitation.

Lixue here was a bubble of nerves at the moon shun brightly in his once darkened room. He felt cold yet warm but still cold.

Lixue didn't know what to do, how to react to the situation all that much. He wanted the warmth to hug but..dealing traditions he isn't allowed to meet with his soon to be husband..

How unfortunate..

The very thought of separation icked him and he so he gotten out of those useless coveres and headed outside tot he balcony.

He inhaled the fresh breeze, the thoughts of that moon going down the horizon to say goodnight and the sun awakening all from their slumber.

Lixue wrapped himself tightly after that. The nerves. The nerves were driving him crazy. His father was to come here soon, his siblings will join to, the people will be here aswell and let me say there is a lot of them.

Emperor Bastion is only down the hall. Eitri, the Emperor's omega and empress of the Imperial Western Kingdom, was coming here tomorrow along with their youngling.

Yes so it would seem alot of people were going to attend. Lixue had to take a second and just relax. The urge to break the rules and find Valdemar was strong but he needed to be stronger. He could wait. This was over so..

The moon light shimmered then darkened all of a sudden. Lixue caught onto it and moved closer to the balcony. He thought he was seeing things till the massive white moon held a shadow passingby. A large shadow at that.

Lixue didn't know if he should head back inside or not but whatever it was could fly really well and he seemed attracted to the enlarged ink colored creature flying overhead.

Then it circled lower, and lower and lower. Till it was right by the balcony edge.

It all came to him. It was a colossal sized black dragon. A fur coated colossal dragon was hovering by the ledge, it's massive snout pressed against the blocking pillars and it's wings flapped slowly to keep it still in the air.

Red eyes gleamed at him, something light and loving in those eyes. Then a low rumble thrummed from the majestic beast.

"Valdemar?"

The Dragon King blinked his eyes in response. Lixue was even more relaxed at the sight of him. "Your not supposed to see me. Neither am I to you."

The Dragon shifted King bellowed at his comment, completely disregarding the rules but Lixue can already tell when he was saying.

I am the Dragon King of this territory. I don't need to follow rules.

Lixue released a chuckle and reached for the wet snout. Valdemar leaned in for the fuzzy touch, closing his eyes as Lixue touched his soft scales near his nose. It was like a purr that Valdemar did when he sniffed that powder. Deep, adorable and calming.

"You missed me didn't you?"

Valdemar snuffed, his eyes opening. Lixue hums. "I missed you aswell. I didn't expect to miss you so much..but I did."

Valdemar leaned over the block and nudged his beloved's cheek even those he was massive to all of the elf prince. Lixue giggled this time and hugged that muzzle tightly.

"We will see tomorrow. You go back before you mother or Vaayn sees you like this." He said pulling back.

Valdemar backed up and flew up. But instead of taking the advice to leave, there was no longer a dragon in the air. Valdemar had shifted back and was falling from the sky.

The Dragon King landed on the balcony, crotched down lower, before he took a stand. Now in front of the Lixue was a naked hugely built human Dragon King.

Lixue gulped as his eyes seemed to get distracted to the other beast hanging casually in the cold air. Every part of Valdemar was large and overpowering and overpowering was an understatement.

"Lixue?"

Lixue darted his eyes up to meet red ones watching at him curiously and very much liking that the elf omega was checking him out.

"Wait till after the wedding my treasure."

"Excuse me?" Lixue found his cheeks getting hotter.

"Don't worry, I know I'm very pleasing to look at."

"You forget yourself." Lixue glared and folded his arms. He wasn't having it with him. "Does this always happen when your..shifted?"

"Yes. For my large size it rips." Valdemar responded and grabbed a chair to sit himself down. "Why are you here..like that anyways..?" Lixue asked averting eyes away from Valdemar's nether regions.

"You were distressed. I had a feeling. But I didn't want Vaayn or Bastion or anyone seeing me marching to your private chambers."

"Yet here you are. Naked. In broad moonlight. Anyone leaving their homes would have seen you."

"Best nights are better to fly my love."

Lixue sighs and rubbed his temple. "You are so stubborn."

"Even more since it's you." He said affectionately, looking at Lixue with teasing sharp eyes.

Lixue blushed a deeper red. "I will bring you something to cover."

"Don't. It will only shred." Valdemar said, his head lolling back. "Plus I enjoy the breeze on my body."

Lixue bit his inner mouth and tapped his barefoot onto the floor multiple times. Something in him felt hot and bothered but he hide it under a frown.

"You are vile. Now that you have seen me you must go." He pressed on, walking closer to Valdemar. Valdemar move a muscle and just looked to his soon to be wife. "Fine. But I want one thing before I leave."

Lixue folded his arms. "And what is that?"

Valdemar rose forward and grabbed his beloved by his waist. The omega yelped as he was tugged onto Valdemar's lap, straddling the naked figure below him.

Lixue was redder and looked at Valdemar was a scowl. "Release me now."

"I said I'll leave if you give me something~" He said again, running his hands up Lixue's hip and waist and repeat. Lixue swallowed thickly. "What is it? Is this it?" He gestured to their position.

"Maybe."

"Maybe? What do you mean by-Mmph."

Valdemar shuts out elf prince with a kiss. Deep and sensual. Hands massaging his body, roaming, bringing up his night cloths only for Lixue to grab the Dragon King's hand to stop him any further.

Lips were red when Valdemar broke that breath taking kiss. Only one more turned in was Lixue from the share amount of blushing and redness.

Valdemar caressed Lixue's cheek and smiled. "Beautiful.." He whispered, taking his beloved's hand and kissing that. "Absolutely beautiful.."

Lixue whimpered but didn't reply. For some reason he lent in for another kiss and hugged the Dragon King's body close. He didn't mind the whole naked thing, the only thinkw as that Valdemar was here and close to him and he felt so much relaxed.

So much so that Lixue had fallen into a slumber he didn't even know of.

The morning rose and everyone rose up.

Noises bussled the halls for he castle as everyone was hyper for the wedding of two people they adore.

Lixue was busy with his fitting, having a nice conversation with the fairy Empress Eitri. Valdemar also doing his dressing, Bastion making sure his friend was in tip top shape before walking down that isle.

Eileithya was in a panic mode, her husband, former King Daemon, arrived just in time to calm his fretting wife.

Daemon hadn't met Lixue yet but from his wife he can tell Lixue was a great match for his stubborn son. He just hopes that elf was can handle him so well.

Lixue's parent was there now, his siblings even coming along and greeting the other royal families.

Then the wedding begun.

The hallway as packed with people inside. The outside even more as they waited for the actual ceremony to finish so they can now see their King and his new Queen.

Lixue was shaking his hands to get the feeling in them, Eileithya giving all her love and reassurance for him. The former queen silently cheered on Lixue to get his spirits and nerves down.

Rou doing her best to keep Lixue from messing up his face or the vail from falling before Valdemar took it off.

Bells chimed, music began as the doors opened for Lixue. People stood for the bride, watching as he came down in a lovely dress that befitted him so well.

People welled up at his beauty, simply smiled softly at the sight of him. This was going to the new Queen of king said to never marry an omega or anyone. The king who was determined to never love anyone that was..till now.

Valdemar seemed dazed on as his beloved walked down the isle in his well fitted gown.

Lixue was met with his father. The Elf Emperor smiled at his son with love and resist to let his last born son off to the Dragon King. He thought he will get him yet..here he was amongst all his married children and giving off his last one.

He hopes his beloved was watching from above..How her son has grown and will continue to grow.

His father, Elvin Emperor Eladrin, pressed a kiss to his son's head and faced the Dragon King. Gave a hard glare but guided his son up to him.

Eladrin turned his son and looked to him. "If he does anything to you come straight to me. I'll have him straighten out." Lixue chuckled at his father's overprotective statements. "I'll be fine father but I will come to you." Eladrin placed a hand to his cheek and smiled.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

With that Lixue was given to Valdemar which Valdemar bowed his head to the Elvin Emperor in respect before taking his beloved's hand.

Vows, shared tears, busting amount of love.

Yes those were the things that happened during the wedding and crowning of a new King and Queen.

The new husband and wife held one's hand, their crowns perched on their heads high and Valdemar did the last of it all.

Taking off that vail and showing his wife to the people.

Gasps filled the room at the eccentric beauty that baffled the people. They cheered in shock that their queen was a such a beauty! No wonder their King was who be was towards their new Queen.

The outside people gained a sight to behold, cheering loudly and celebrating as their King and Queen shared their kiss.

"All hail our Great Dragon King Valdemar and our Gracious Elvin Queen Lixue Sevillirion!"

"ALL HAIL THE QUEEN AND KING!!"

"ALL HAIL!"

People praised their King Queen, feasted with them and wished them well and giving their unfailing loyalty and protection to them.

Everyone danced and partied till the night consumed the blue sky. It truly was one wedding and one time for the people have such joy in this.

After the wedding, Lixue and Valdemar left them to their enjoyment and found themselves in private chambers that night.

They were now as one, King and Queen, Husband and Wife.
