Chapter 223
Rebirth of the Wife in Despair
Chapter 223 You Have Truly Gone Mad
She had underestimated Ericâs ruthlessness. Despite her desperate pleas, Eric showed no
mercy.
Consequently, Eileen was compelled to put on the undergarments, one after another, her face devoid
of any expression. She then sat on his lap, wearing the last set.
The thin layer on her lower half was already completely soaked.
Eric displayed the transparent fluid to her, smearing it on her chest. âDo you want it? Beg me, and Iâll
give it to you.â
This was their agreement, and even without it, Eileen knew she couldnât escape today.
Eileen wrapped her arms around herself, shivering uncontrollably. Even with the windows shut, she still
felt cold. After being mostly naked for over half an hour, her lips had turned pale.
As their desires were unleashed, Eric brought her wave after wave of ecstasy, while her lower
abdomen throbbed in unison.
This time, she adjusted her position. Eric had her brace her hands against the wall as his manhood
slipped between her legs.
With one final thrust, Eileen saw fireworks burst before her
eyes.
The hands around her waist loosened, and Eileenâs legs went weak. She almost fainted, collapsing
onto the cold floor, her consciousness fading.
It was already three in the morning. Eric had just emerged from the bathroom, buttoning up his shirt. He
still looked like a wolf in sheepâs clothing. He cast his gaze down at the person still lying on the floor.
âGet up and get dressed!â
Seeing her motionless, Ericâs dark eyes hardened, his gaze falling on the glaring bloodstain flowing
down from between her legs.
Eileen groaned, âIt hurtsâ¦â
Without hesitation, the man quickly cleaned her up, wrapped her in a coat, and drove her to the
hospital.
Zachary was awakened by a phone call. He took off his glasses with a throbbing headache and
pinched the bridge of his nose. âEric, are you out of your mind? Stop calling me in the
middle of the night!â

Eric had never felt so fearful before and wondered if he had gone too far.
He barged into the examination room, a place where even family members were typically not allowed
to enter. Unfortunately, Zachary couldnât stop him.
Eric personally conducted the examination of Eileenâs private area. As he looked at the computer,
Zachary tapped his leg. He circled a spot with his pen and said, âThis is where the uterus used to be.
After its removal, the original site was stitched up. However, the inner wall was agitated, and the wound
has reopened. Iâll prescribe some medication later. After taking it for a couple of days, she should be
fine.â
Eric frowned. âWhat are the chances for a successful uterus transplant?â
Zachary made an âXâ with his arms, decisively saying, âItâs impossible. There hasnât been a single
successful case in the entire country.â Zachary was also extremely tired. He stood up and patted Ericâs
shoulder. âStop thinking about it because itâs simply impossible. Actually⦠isnât it better not being able
to have children? After all, you and she were never meant to have descendants. Even if you did have a
child, thereâs a chance they could have mental challenges.â
Eric shot him a stern glance, and Zachary raised his hands in surrender. âAlright, Iâll stop talking. Oh, by
the way, sheâll wake up after a while, so give her some sugared water then.â
When Eileen woke up, she found an IV drip in the back of her hand. The familiar scent of disinfectant
filled her nostrils, and as she looked up at the Blake ceiling, she knew she was in a hospital.
Outside, it was already dawn.
Eileen seemed to have remembered something as she propped herself up in bed. âI have an exam
today.â
âItâs just an exam, and youâre already late,â Eric said, placing a cup of hot water on her bedside table.
âAm I late?â Eileen, looking particularly disheveled, stared at the clock on the wall. It was already nine
oâclock. The exam was scheduled for eight-thirty. Her gaze went vacant, her eyes slowly blinking a few
times.
Suddenly, Eileen started laughing as if she had gone mad, clutching her own hair. She tried to calm
herself down, but no matter what, she just couldnât.
âHahaha⦠This is just too hilarious, Eric⦠Have you seen what Iâve become?â Her demeanor suddenly
shifted, becoming more like that of a crazy person. With reddened eyes, she looked at the man sitting
beside her while pointing at the clock. âIf I have to live under your revenge for the rest of my life, then
whatâs the point of me changing? Whatâs the point of me living? No one in this world loves me; only I
love myself. I thought I had tried hard to change

everything, but now youâve ruined. my life once again!â
Seeing her in this state, Eric had never felt such unbearable irritation.
âEileen⦠Iâve said it before-this is just the beginning. If it werenât for your so-called sympathy and your
meddling, perhaps none of this would have happened. Since it canât be changed, why not just accept
it?â He toyed with her long hair.
âNo! Donât touch me!â Eileen screamed hysterically.
Just then, Zachary knocked on the door. âHey, you two, arguing wonât do any good. How about taking a
break? Eric, I need to talk to you about something.â
Eric glanced at her, then got up and walked out. At the door of the ward, Zachary flipped through
Eileenâs past medical records in his hand. âDid you know Eileen had severe depression before?â
Eric answered, âAnd?â
Zachary raised an eyebrow, realizing Eric was clearly clueless about the situation. âPeople with
depression need to take medication to stabilize their emotions, otherwiseâ¦â
No sooner had the words left his mouth than a nurse passing by suddenly let out a piercing scream.
âDr. Xenos, come quickly! Sheâs about to jump off the building!â
Eileen had stepped onto a chair and had already climbed onto the windowsill.
Almost immediately, Eric rushed into the ward, watching as she leaned forward without any hesitation.
Zachary simply watched all of this unfold with indifference.
I didnât expect her to give up so easily!
Eileen⦠Even if you have Jasper, you canât escape him.
What youâve been through is nothing compared to him.
In the final moment, Eric reached out and grabbed her hand. They were on the fifteenth floor, so a fall
from this height would undoubtedly be fatal.
Eileen looked up, her eyes filled with despair. The thought of ending her life had come without warning,
a common symptom among those who suffer from severe depression. They did not fear death but saw
it as a form of release.
Thoughts of death would constantly surface in their minds, like a demon whispering sweet
temptations.

Eileen had tried to resist, refusing to entertain any thoughts of death, but such behavior was simply
uncontrollable.
Eileen felt as if she was walking through a desolate wilderness, enveloped in silence and darkness. If
there was even a glimmer of light, she could continue moving forward. But who knew when that light
would appear? Therefore, she felt disappointment and despairâ¦
Eric exerted all his strength to hold onto her, his arm veins bulging. âYouâve truly lost. mind! Hold onto
me!â
your
Eric, do you know what Iâm thinking right now? Iâm only seeking liberation from the despair youâve
caused me.
Just like in our previous life when I watched as you and Sarah appeared on the big screen during our
wedding anniversary. I was in deep despair then as well.
I tried to hold on, waiting for you to glance at me.
But what I ended up waiting for was your wedding day, with you holding that child-your child with
Sarah.
Eric, I canât find anyone more heartless than you in this world, nor is there anyone else who can make
me feel as hopeless.
The humiliation and hatred Iâve endured are all because of you. And now, youâve made me experience
pain as well.
