Chapter 13

Crystal's pov

Entering inside the building I felt my heart beat increase. The inside is way too luxurious. Everything was looking expensive and the peoples. They were all looking already super rich. Their attires were formal yet stunning.

For a second I thought of running away but I didn't. Taking a deep breath I went towards the receptionist where a beautiful women was working. She looked like in her thirties.

"Excuse me?" I said after clearing my throat. She looked up at me and removed her glasses before saying "yes".

"Hello I'm Crystal Collins. I'm appointed as Mr Knights PA's assistant and today is my first day. So, can you tell me where do I have to go?" I asked and she stood up before taking out something from the drawer.

"So, you're the one" She said giving me a I'd card. "This is your I'd card. Always carry your I'd card here. And you have to go straight and take a elevator for 15th floor. There you'll see another receptionist. She will lead you next" She said and I nodded thanking her.

I start walking towards the elevator and pressed the button for 15th floor. There were two women's and one man present in the elevator along with me. They all were looking professional. When I was waiting for my destination floor, my phone pinged with a message.

Unknown number.

Enjoying the wife tag which was supposed to be mine?

Wife tag? What the hell? Who's this?

Before I could think more my destination floor arrived. Quickly moving out from the elevator I start searching for another receptionist and I found her in the corner, working.

I start walking towards her but tripped with something. Before I could fall someone caught me. I looked up to see Dante. He was looking at me with amusement but soon a smirk adorned in his handsome face. I groaned taking my hand back from his grip.

"Earlier you tripped on the ground, then stairs and now in this plane floor and you say that you're not clumsy?" He asked raising his brows.

"I'm not clumsy" I said and he gave me a really look.

"I mean.. uhm.. um.. yeah.. I was thinking about my job and that's why I tripped" I said but instantly regretted after giving this lame excuse.

"You're not making any sense, you know that, right?" He said raising his brows at me and I groaned.

Ignoring him I started walking towards the receptionist but he held my wrist, stopping me from going anywhere.

"What?" I asked irritated.

"What, what? You have no answer so you're running away from me? Coward" He said to which I looked at him with wide eyes.

"I'm not a coward. How dare you to say me a coward?" I asked raising my voice slightly.

"Of course you are, coward" He said with a smirk.

I gave him angry glares and tried to free myself from his grip but he tightened his grip.

"What? Running away from the truth?" He asked with a smirk.

"No actually unlike you I'm kinda busy. Today is my first day, you see. So I have to work. I don't want to waste my time, so yeah" I said giving him a mean smirk to which he just chuckled.

"Of course. Come with me" He said and start dragging me to other way.

"Hey what are you doing? That receptionist told me that I have to meet this receptionist" I said trying to free myself from his grip but he didn't loose his grip.

"No you don't have to" With this he start dragging me to God knows where.

When we were outside a cabin he stopped leaving my wrist. I first glance at him and later at the nameplate.

Simon Knight.

Ooh.

Dante knocked the door and I heard a faint "come in".

We both walked inside to see Mr Knight talking with a man in his forties. They were discussing something about some project.

"Dad?" Dante said and Mr Knight smiled looking at him.

"Dante.. Oh hey Crystal" Mr Knight smiled looking at me and stood up from his chair.

"Hello Mr Knight" I said giving him a smile. He is a kind man unlike his son.

"Crystal meet him, Kevin Jenner my PA. And Kevin. She is Crystal Collins, the girl I was telling you about. She's gonna work under you for some time" Mr Knight said introducing us.

"Hello Crystal" Mr Jenner forward his hand for a shake to which I too forward my hand towards him.

"Hello Mr Jenner. Nice meeting you" I said taking my hand back.

"Likewise" He said giving me a soft smile.

"Crystal, from now on Kevin is your boss. You have to work under him after your college and mind you Kevin is very humble so you don't have to fear him but just don't disappoint him or us" Mr Knight said giving me a smile and I smiled back at him.

"Yes sir. I'll do my best" I said happily to which he nodded.

"Come Crystal, I'll show you your desk and will explain you your work too" Mr Jenner said and I nodded following him.

But before going outside the cabin I looked at Dante who was already looking at me. I showed him my tongue, teasing him. But instead of looking angry he looked amused. Flipping my hairs in playful manner I walked out of cabin and followed Mr Jenner.

We stopped outside a nearby cabin with a name plate Kevin Jenner written. Wow, he has a cabin of his own.

"That's my cabin. And *walking towards a nearby glass cabin* this is yours" He said and I have him a shocked look.

There was a name plate written Crystal Collins. The fuCk. I have my own cabin for fuCks sake. I can't believe this.

"Liked it?" Mr Jenner asked and I nodded still in shock. He chuckled at me and gestured me to follow him inside. Inside the cabin was so beautiful. My cabin wasn't big nor small. It was medium size, beautiful cabin.

"This is amazing" I said still looking at my cabin.

He laughed and said "Welcome but it was actually Dante sir's idea. He said you're a family to them and he want best for you" Mr Jenner said making me shock. Butterflies suddenly start dancing in my tummy after listening Mr Jenner's words. Dante fuCking said that I'm his family and he wanted best for me. Damn.

I felt my cheeks heated with this thought but I ignored the sensation.

"Uhm.. Oh. Um. What should I do?" I asked changing the topic.

"Well there are few files *pointing towards the files nearby the laptop* you have to check them all and correct all the grammatical and spelling errors. After done with them you'll take those files to me and then I'll give you your second task, okay?" He asked and I nodded.

"Good. All the very best for your first day Crystal" He said walking out of the cabin.

I was still in shock. I twirl to have a better look of the cabin.

Dante. He is not that bad.

Grinning I settled myself on the chair and forward my hands to grab the file but something else caught my attention. There was a note attached on the laptop written...

"All the very best for your first day Crystal Clumsy Collins. Hope you won't mess anything up in your clumsiness. Work carefully.

Dante Knight"

I take my word's back. He is not just bad but he is very bad and arrogant and he is a monster too.

Twisting my lips I start working not before tearing that note and dumping that in the dustbin.
