Chapter 15

Crystal's pov

I kept looking at him in shock whereas that moron was smirking looking at me.

"How dare you?" I chirped angrily to which he smirked more at me.

"Oh come on, I was just happy that you didn't fell, this time" He said and I glared him.

"You know what, I don't want to talk an insensitive arrogant jerk" Cursing him a little I made my way towards my room which was upstairs.

"Climb carefully" I heard his shout and increased my pace just to show him that I don't fall every freaking time and thankfully I didn't fall this time.

I mentally pat my back and turned around to look at him but didn't him.

Where did he go?

As I turned around I gasped seeing him standing an inch away from me.

"Scared?" He asked smirking at me to which I pushed him a little.

"I'm not scared. It just you came suddenly so i..i.. "

"You got scared" He cuts me off to which I glared him hard but did he looked affected from my glares? Noooo.

"Why are you so annoying?" I asked angrily.

"Why are you so clumsy?" He asked back to which I got more angry.

"For god sake I'm not clumsy" I whined to which he gave me a 'really' look.

Before I could say something his mom came towards us.

"What happened? *turning towards me* Crystal why are you looking upset?" She asked and I sighed.

"He is irritating me" I complained looking at Dante who just chuckled in return.

"Dante?" His mom turned towards him and raised her brows at him.

"No mom, I wasn't irritating her. I was just concerned that she eats too less and works so much. All these things are making her tired. So I was just telling her to eat more food for energy" Dante lied causing me to look at him in shock.

"No, he is lying. He was calling me clumsy" I said greeting my teeth in anger.

"No mom, why would I lie?" He said ever so innocently.

"Cause you're lier" I said angrily.

"I'm not" He said narrowing his gaze at me.

"Yes, you are. And not just lier but you're arrogant too" I said looking directly in his eyes.

"Oh please, neither I'm lier nor I'm arrogant. You're blind who can't see anything and keeps on falling everywhere" He said causally.

"You're blind. I'm perfectly okay" I shouted at him.

"That explains why you keep on falling everytime" He yelled at the same pitch.

"You know what you're blind. I don't fall everytime" I yelled at him.

"Oh please, you..."

"Shut up, you two. You guys are fighting like kids" Mrs Knight cuts him off and glared him.

"Okay now Dante, apologize" Mrs Knight said and I mentally smirked.

"Sorry mom" Dante said to which I got shocked.

"Not me, her. You told her mean stuffs" Mrs Knight said and I nodded at her.

"What? No mom, I didn't said any mean things to her" He tried to defend himself.

"You just called her blind and that is mean. I agree she's little clumsy *gasps* but you just can't call her blind. Come on now, apologize" Mrs Knight said to which he shook his head in disbelief and looked at me.

"I'm sorry, Crystal" He glared me.

"You're apologizing or scarring her? Be little soft" Mrs Knight said and I grinned at her.

"Mom" He whined at I almost laughed at him.

"Dante" She glared him to which he sighed.

"Sorry Crystal" He said in calm tone so I nodded.

"Good. Now go and change fast. Dinner is ready. And Crystal come with me" Mrs Knight said and walked away.

Before I could follow her I heard Dante calling me clumsy. Angrily I turned to look at him but he ran away towards his room.

Glaring at his retreating figure I turned away from him and start following Mrs Knight.

Time skip.

We all were settled in dining hall and was having dinner.

These people really makes delicious food.

"Congratulations once again" Sarah grinned at them before eating. They all chuckled at her.

"Really, I wasn't expecting that we"ll get this project" Mr Knight smiled.

"But you did" Sarah grinned with mouthful of food.

As we were having dinner my phone pinged with a message. I checked it to see another message from an unknown number. I frowned before opening the message.

You will pay for your over-smartness.

What the hell!

Keeping the phone aside I kept on eating but somehow I was disturbed with these messages.

I have an idea that who could send these messages to me. It's definitely Maddison.

But my main concern is that from where did she got my number. Sighing I start thinking of all the possibilities of her trying to harm me.

"Crystal" I heard Sarah calling me.

"Yes" I asked and she chuckled.

"Where are you lost? I called you so many times" Sarah asked to which I shook my head in negative.

"Wanna eat dessert?" She asked to which I immediately shook my head in denial.

"No, I hate sweet stuffs" I said making a disgusted face.

I really, really, really hate sweets. Either it's cakes or anything. Even on my birthday's my granny never used to surprise me with cakes cause she knew I hated them.

"What? You don't like desserts?" She asked with wide eyes to which I nodded.

"Woah.. Even Dante hate sweets" Sarah said looking in between us.

After that I felt a strong gaze on me and I knew it was Dante but I didn't looked in his direction.

"They are similar in many ways" This time Mr Knight said and I looked at him giving me a small smile.

I then finally looked at Dante who was looking at me with some different gaze.

Quickly I looked away from him. When I was almost done with my dinner my phone again pinged with a message.

Irritatingly I looked at my phone but this time it was from uh..Dante.

I first looked at him who was eating his dinner without looking anywhere but his plate.

I then decided to see his message. As I read the message I glared at my phone.

He fuCking send me an article link which says "How to bid adie to your clumsiness".

I then quickly searched an article which says "Ways to get rid off mental illness" Sending him this message I wished him Get well soon with a smily emoji.

I didn't waited for his reaction and got up from my seat. Wishing everyone good night I made my way to my room.

Once inside I changed my clothes and laid on bed. Thinking about today's event I fall asleep.
