Dante's pov

97. 98. 99. 100.

After completing 100 pushups I wiped my sweat and made my way towards my room. When I was passing by my room, my gaze instantly went towards Crystal's room. Her room is just beside me.

Just thinking about her a small smile breaks in my face.

She is crazy and funny and cute, too.

She is clumsy but hates it when someone call her that. Idiot.

Yesterday she was getting so angry when I was teasing her. Though I felt like not teasing her but her reactions were so cute that I couldn't help and kept on teasing her.

Shaking my head, I went back to my room to get ready for office.

Once done I went to have breakfast where everyone was present. I settled myself beside dad and filled my plate with delicious food.

My gaze than wandered to Crystal's plate and I internally groaned. She was eating the smallest amount of food one can have. Even a five year old kid eat more than her.

Also she was looking least interested in her breakfast.

"I think we should throw a party, what say?" Ashton chirped all of a sudden.

"Party, but why?" Sarah asked him to which he groaned.

"Because I'm divorcing you" Ashton said in uninterested tone to which I laughed whereas Sarah glared me and Ashton angrily.

"Chill baby, I'm not divorcing you *Sarah nodded* now *glared him*" Ashton laughed at her.

"God Sarah, we got the biggest project after so many years. That's why I said we should throw a big party" Ashton said giving her a soft peck.

"Ohhh. That's an amazing idea" Sarah nodded looking happy.

"Exactly. We will invite all our business partners, staffs and other important persons. What say dad?" Ashton asked dad to which he nodded.

"Of course. Ask our event organizer to start preparing" Dad said to which he nodded.

With this they all busied themselves in party talks meanwhile my gaze went towards Crystal who was looking uncomfortable between us.

I frowned looking at her. Maybe she is feeling left out.

Not wanting her to feel out of place I decided to talk to her. Seeing everyone was busy I slowly moved towards her and sat beside her.

Looking at me she groaned. I laughed at her reaction.

"So clumsy, did you liked your cabin?" I asked to which she glared me but nodded in yes.

"By the way I hate mistakes in office work so make sure to check your work twice before submitting to anyone" I said faking authority thinking she will get scared but she just gave me a nod.

Huh? Why is she not responding like usual?

I frowned at her and continued eating my breakfast.

When she was almost finished with her breakfast her phone pinged with a message. Checking her phone she looked troubled. Frowning I patted her shoulder.

Scared she looked in my direction but sighed looking at me.

"Why are you looking scared? Is everything ok?" I asked to which she nodded giving me a fake smile.

"Crystal, what is it?" I asked narrowing my gaze to her phone.

She sighed and looked at me.

"Nothing just got some new assignments from college" She said but I knew she was lying.

I really wanted to check her phone but I didn't. Already she is in mess cause of us. I don't want her to think that I'm invading her private space.

After few minutes she got up from her place and bid adieu to everyone and left for her college.

Time skip.

I was reading an important file when someone knocked the door outside the cabin.

"Come in" I said but didn't looked up from the file.

"Mr Jenner told me to give you this file" I heard a voice which I recognised instantly and looked up from the file.

Their Crystal was standing with a file in her hands.

My face instantly lighten up seeing her as she wasn't looking upset like before.

I took the file from her and start checking the file when I suddenly realise that she is leaving.

"Wait. Did I told you to leave?" I asked raising my brows.

"But I was supposed to give you the file only. Why should I stay?" She asked narrowing her gaze at me.

"Because I'm the boss and I have not given you the permission to leave also I have some work for you" I said to which she twisted her lips in annoyance.

"Right. Sorry sir. What do you want me to do?" She asked giving me a challenging look.

"Go and get me a black coffee with no sugar and yes cheese pasta too" I said giving her a wide grin.

"Do you think I'm a waiter whom you're giving orders?" She asked crossing her arms to her chest.

"No but you work under me and you have to follow my orders" I said trying to scare her.

"I'm here to follow your orders related to office work only, not your personal work. Ask someone else to bring you YOUR black coffee and pasta" She said glaring me with her beautiful big brown eyes.

"You know I can fire you, right now, right here?" I said widening my eyes for more effect.

But did she looked affected? Hell No.

"You can't" She said giving me a smirk.

"And why so?" I asked crossing my arms against my chest just like her.

"Because Mr Knight will not let you fire me" She said with a big grin and this time I couldn't generate words to reply back to her instead I give her a smile and shook my head at her smartness.

"You are crazy" I said to which she nodded looking genuinely happy.

"I know" She grinned at me.

"Okay fine I accept my defeat. You can leave now" I said to which she nodded and left the cabin.

She is something else.

After thinking about her for few more minutes I decided to concentrate on my work.

When I was middle in my work someone knocked the door.

"Come in" After giving the permission I again engrossed myself in my work when a cup of coffee and pasta was pushed towards me.

I looked up to see that Crystal was their giving me a small smile.

I leaned back to my chair and looked at her top to bottom.

"I thought you said that you don't follow personal orders?" I asked narrowing my gaze at her.

"Oh come on, I'm not that bad to starve someone. Plus you're my boss so I need to be in your good book, right?" She said narrowing her gaze at me.

"Good that you understand" I smirked at her and start drinking my coffee.

"Can I go now?" She asked softly.

"No" I denied causing her to groan.

"Why?" She asked annoyingly.

"You're questioning your boss?" I asked faking anger to which she looked startled.

"No it just I have work" She replied shrugging her shoulders.

"So you mean I'm free that's why I'm stopping you?" I asked raising my brows.

But instead of answering me she just shrugged her shoulders.

I glared her to which she looked unaffected. Shaking my head in disbelief I gave her a file.

"Check this file and correct the errors and ask Jenner to visit me" I said to which she nodded and left the cabin.

This girl....
