Crystal's pov

After I was done with my shift I settled myself in My Car with Martin (my bodyguard) and the driver.

Yes, Mr and Mrs knight literally forced this car to me and told me to use this car for transportation instead of using public transport.

As we were on the way to Knight mansion when I suddenly realised that I need few books.

"Um.. Can we please stop by a book store. I need to buy some books" I said to them and they nodded.

When we reached outside the book store I came out of my car along with Martin.

"Why are you coming with me?" I asked to which he frowned.

"I'm supposed to protect you" He frowned at me.

"Yeah but who's gonna harm me inside the book store?" I asked to which he shook his head in disbelief.

"Okay fine, go. But if their is any problem, call me" He said and I nodded.

Entering inside the book store I start searching for the books I needed.

When I was looking for the book I felt someone staring me from behind.

I turned around to see that no one was there. Shrugging I again started searching for the books but again I felt someone staring me. I once again turned to see noone was there.

But this time I was scared cause I felt something was not right. I hurriedly searched the books and went towards the bill counter.

But when I was standing in the queue I again felt someone staring behind me. But this time I didn't turned back. As my chance came I quickly paid the money for my books and start walking away when a teen boy came to me.

"Yes?" I asked frowning.

"That man told me to give this chit to you" He said giving me a chit. I frowned and tried to peek at that direction but found no one.

And in the meantime that boy too left. I frowned hard at this and opened the chit.

You have no idea what you have done. You have ruined my years of hardwork in just few minutes. And If you're thinking that KNIGHTS can protect you from me than you're wrong. No one, I repeat no one can protect you from me. You have yourself invited troubles in your way. Good luck.

I felt my throat dried reading after reading that note. I can't believe this. Oh my god.

I was not much scared from Maddison's messages but this, oh my god.

Ethan is now giving me threats. Ethan. That man is scary. If he is threatening me, I doubt that this is small thing.

He will surely kill me or worst will torture me to the death.

Scared I looked at that direction where that boy told me someone gave him chit and again found none but this I felt scared just looking at that corner.

Wait.. I felt someone staring me and than got this chit. It means.. Ethan was their.

I widened my eyes in shock when suddenly my phone pinged with a message from an unknown number.

Scared I opened the message only to get more terrify.

Good to see you scared. I will make sure you continue with this expression until you die the worst death.

I almost cried reading that message but on realising that he is keeping an eye on me I ran out of the book store.

When I was near the car I immediately kept the books and then proceed to sit inside but felt someone gripping my wrist.

Scared I turned around to see Eth..uh Martin. He had a frown in his face.

"What?" I asked annoyingly.

"What happened? Why are you crying? And you're looking scared too" He said to which I touched my cheek. That's when I realised that I was crying all this time.

I quickly wiped my tears and "Something went inside my eyes" lied to which he looked confused.

"In both eyes?" He asked narrowing his gaze at me.

"Yes in my both eyes" I said greeting my teeths in anger and again tried to go inside the car but Martin stopped me.

Oh god, why is he stopping me?

"Now what?" I almost yelled at him.

"Why happened Crystal? Why are you lying?" He asked looking at me and than his gaze went towards my other hand.

I too looked at my hand to realised I had still that note in my fist.

"What's that?" He asked pointing towards the note in my hand.

"Nothing" I lied but he didn't looked satisfied.

In a minute or so he snatched that note from my hand and start reading that. I looked away from him.

"What the hell? How did you got this note and when?" He asked but I didn't replied instead I felt hot tears forming in my eyes.

"Crystal?" He asked again but I kept silent.

"Did you got more such notes?" He asked softly this time to which I denied through my head.

"Crystal you can tell me. I'm here to protect you" He said trying to convince me.

'No one can protect me now' I wanted to say this aloud but I didn't. Instead I wiped my tears and looked at him.

"Can we please go back?" I asked to which he looked shocked but nodded.

Giving him a small smile I settled myself inside the car.

Martin too settled himself in passenger seat and then driver started the car.

When we reached Knight mansion I immediately got off the car and ran inside to my room, leaving the books and Martin's questions behind.

Once reaching my room I immediately locked the door and laid in the bed.

But as soon as my head touched the pillow, my tears started flowing more than before.

I kept on crying for I don't know how many minutes but eventually my eyes begins to close.

Dante's pov

After working my ass off I finally went back to my home. When I reached inside I felt the atmosphere tensed.

Everyone was looking gloomy and also Martin, Crystal's bodyguard was their but Crystal wasn't their.

"What happened?" I asked and stood beside my mom.

They all looked at me and sighed. I frowned and turned towards my mom.

"What happened mom? Why are you all looking tensed?" I asked her to which she sighed and gave me a note. I frowned and opened the note to see what's inside.

You have no idea what you have done. You have ruined my years of hardwork in just few minutes. And If you're thinking that KNIGHTS can protect you from me than you're wrong. No one, I repeat no one can protect you from me. You have yourself invited troubles in your way. Good luck.

I clenched the note tightly in my fist and kept reading the same thing again and again.

"What the hell is this?" I glared the note and than looked at my family for answer.

"Crystal got this note when she was buying some books" My dad said and I felt my heart stopped beating for a second.

What the fuCk.

Crystal was already scared of Ethan and now she got this note from him. Damn!

"She is really scared. Martin told us that she was crying when she got the note. But she didn't told him how she got this note" Mom said sighing.

"Poor girl" Sarah commented looking genuinely tensed for Crystal.

"Where is Crystal?" I asked looking around to search her.

"In her room. I thought of going to her and talk to her but than I thought that I should give her some alone time" Mom said looking upset.

"I thought Ethan and others will stay away from Crystal but here he is already threatening her" Ashton said angrily.

"Exactly" Sarah nodded angrily.

Everyone kept on talking but I was silent. I was still re-reading that note and was thinking of ways to kill Ethan.

That motherfucker.

When I was busy in my thoughts I suddenly realised that Crystal was looking disturbed during breakfast when she got some message in her phone.

I widened my eyes and looked at my family and than at Martin.

"Martin *everyone looked at me* do one thing. Start tapping Crystal's phone. In morning she was looking kinda disturbed after a message. I think Ethan and family is threatening her through phones as well" I said and he nodded.

"And also ask your men to keep a close eye on each and every Kingsley's and people related to them. Also find each and everything which we can use against them. This time Kingsley's will get to know how it feel when someone scares you" I said with authority to which he nodded.
