Crystal's pov

Today's classes are cancelled.

I read that on notice board and sighed. No classes today. They could have messaged everyone. Why did they waste our time?

I decided to go back to the mansion but a friend of mine, Ashley stopped me.

"Hey, where are you going?" She asked me in her thick voice.

"Home" I replied with a small smile.

"Why? Just stay here" She said happily and I looked at her weirdly.

"But classes are cancelled, no? Why would I stay here?" I asked and this time she looked at me weirdly.

"God girl. Don't you know why classes are cancelled today?" She asked me and I shook my head in negative to which she slapped her forehead.

"Today is the big day for the students who are studying costume designing in our college. Today a lot of models will come and wear their clothes and will do ramp walk in auditorium. And not just that but the student who will win first prize in costume designing, will get the chance to work with the biggest designer in new york" Ashley said to which I nodded in understanding.

"Let's go to the auditorium. Models can come anytime now" She said and I shook my head.

"I'm not interested" I said making a face to which she glared me.

"Oh shut up" With this she caught my wrist and dragged me towards the auditorium despite my denials.

Once we reached there, we both settled ourselves in chairs along with other students. I rolled my eyes at her behaviour and looked around to see that auditorium was decorated nicely. Our professors, dean and other important guests are settled in the front row.

Soon models started coming and started with their introduction and about the outfits they were wearing.

I got bored in middle so thought of scrolling through my insta. But I kept on listening them when they were talking about themselves.

I was stalking my favorite hollywood actor when I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey! I'm Maddison Kingsley and here I'm wearing an outfit designed by Patricia Bell" I froze listening this and looked up to see Maddison was there. She was standing in the middle of the stage and was showing off her dress in front of others.

What the hell?

My mind was constantly asking me to run away from there but my body didn't supported me. I was numb and kept sitting their staring at Maddison with my shocked face.

But that wasn't enough. Because feeling my gaze Maddison looked towards me and soon her happy face turned angry but she quickly masked her emotions and smiled looking at others. But this time her smile looked fake. She was angry.

"She's too good" I heard someone's voice beside me. I turned around to see that Ashley was looking at Maddison with dreamy face.

"Who is good?" I asked her to which she looked at me and again at Maddison.

"Maddison Kingsley. Who else? She is my favorite model" Ashley said to which I nodded at her and again looked at Maddison but she was gone. I sighed in relief.

"You know Maddison Kingsley is perfect. I love everything about her. Be it her body, hair, her voice, her attitude, everything" Ashley said and I looked at her weirdly.

She loves Maddison's voice?

"Maddison Kingsley is my inspiration. I have been her fan from the time she started her career as modelling" Ashley said and I almost groaned.

For God sake I'm not interested.

"I really admire her" Ashley said and I felt an urge to snap at her but stopped myself from doing that.

"You know I copy everything from her. Be it her clothing style or hair style or the way she talk, literally everything" Ashley smiled and showed me a picture of her and Maddison where she has recreated a look of Maddison. I rolled my eyes at the picture but smiled at her.

"You know she is perfect. She look good with everyone, especially Dante Knight. My favorite ship" Ashley said and suddenly I felt sick.

"D-Dante? You used to ship them?" I asked surprisingly.

"I still ship them" She said and I was shocked.

"Dante is married. Isn't he?" I asked feeling a slight anger inside.

"Unfortunately" Ashley said with venom.

"I was excited when I got to know that Dante Knight and Maddison Kingsley are getting married but later Dante married someone else and not Maddison" Ashley said angrily.

"That gold digging bitch came in-between them. I really want to kill her" Ashley said angrily.

"Who is gold digging bitch? And who do you want to kill?" I asked surprisingly.

"Dante's wife, of course. She is a gold digger. I want to kill her for ruining my ship" Ashley groaned angrily.

I was shocked to hear that. I didn't knew the girl I consider my friend is this much toxic.

"Um.. But in his interview Dante said that he never loved Maddison and his wife is his long term girlfriend, didn't he?" I asked raising my brows at her.

"No. He is lying. He loves Maddison. They both were so perfect together. I'm sure his wife is a gold digger who wanted money and that's why she must have blackmailed Dante" Ashley said making me angry.

"Do you know who is his wife?" I asked crossing my arms across my chest.

"No" She replied.

"You don't know her than how can you say that she is a gold digger and she has blackmailed Dante Knight?" I asked to which she looked at me furiously.

"She is a gold digger" Ashley said rolling her eyes angrily.

"I really want Dante's wife to die in the cruelest death ever" Ashley suddenly said making me squirm in my seat.

"Why do you want that?" I asked with fear.

"Because she ruined my ship" She said, her eyes turned red.

Is she a psycho?

"And after her death, Dante will marry his first love, Maddison" She said happily and that was the moment I knew that I'll have to stay away from her.

She is a walking red flag.

Even though I was scared from her still I passed her a smile. She smiled back at me and busied herself in watching the ramp show.

Oh god!

I immediately decided to message Martin about that.

Me: Maddison is in my college.

Martin: What? Why?

Me: She is here for an event.

Martin: Did she know that you are there?

Me: She has seen me.

Martin: You want to leave?

Me: Yes, please. I'm scared.

Martin: I'm coming.

Me: Okay. Come fast.

I got up from my seat but Ashley stopped me with a frown.

"Hey, where are you going?" She asked and I faked a smile at her way.

"Washroom" I said to which she nodded her head in understanding.

I smiled at her and walked towards the entrance. Once I was out from the auditorium, I sighed in relief.

I first went to the washroom to calm myself as a lot of students were watching my scared face curiously.

After staying there for some more minutes I decided to leave.

When I was walking towards the exit, I heard someone's voice. Not someone's but Maddison's voice.

I turned towards her only to see her glaring me with so much hate.

"Enjoying the privilege?" She asked giving me a nasty look but I stayed silent.

"Of course you must be enjoying" She said after a second.

"You ruined my life, Crystal" She said angrily making me scared. I gulped looking at her red eyes.

"You snatched my Dante from me" She said glaring me.

"Dante was never yours" I said and instantly regretted my words.

Fuck. I was not supposed to say this.

"HE WAS" Maddison said slowly looking at me like she wanted to tear me apart.

"You snatched him from me. It was me who was supposed to be the Mrs Maddison Dante Knight but you ruined everything and now I'll ruin you" She said with a promise and I took a step back.

She noticed my movement and smirked dangerously at me.

"What happened? You are scared?" She laughed a little.

"You should be. SOON. Soon I'll make you pay for your actions. I'll rip you apart. I'll punish you in the most cruelest way possible, Crystal" She said greeting her teeths angrily.

"You can't" I whispered slowly.

"I can and I will. Just wait and watch" She smiled as she saw some students passing by but soon greeted her teeths when they left.

She is scary.

"I'm your worst nightmare, Crystal" She said again.

"Right now you are safe but not for long" She said with a smirk.

"Soon, Knight's will abandon you" She said slowly yet dangerously.

"But, wait. They have already abandoned you. Isn't it? That's why nobody knows you. Nobody knows, who is Dante's wife. They are already ashamed of you" She said with a smirk.

No, they are not. Nobody knows me because I wanted that. They are not ashamed of me.

I wanted to say this to her face but I remained silent.

"I bet you must be living in servant's block where all their servants live. Don't you?" She mocked me.

No, my room is just beside Dante's room.

Again I kept silent not wanting to drag the matter.

"Soon they will kick you out from their lives. And then Dante will marry me with all his heart" She said and started walking away from me.

"You are delusional" I chirped causing her to stop in her way. She turned to me and narrowed her gaze at me.

This time instead of getting scared from her, I felt angry. I felt angry after listening her words and felt like replying back to her so I did.

"You are delusional if you think that Knight's will abandon me just like that" I said and remembered all the good times when they showered me with their love and care.

"Also, Dante will never marry you. You know why?" I stopped and looked at her to see that she was glaring me.

"Because he hates you. Not just him, his whole family hates you" I said pointing my index finger to her.

"No he don't. He fuCking love me" She said greeting her teeths. Her eyes were more red than before. And this time, her whole body was shaking in anger.

"Dante loves me" She said, seething in anger.

"You want proof? Than go and see the old articles. He never left me in any party when he was with me but what about you? Huh? He left his own success party few days back for another women who was in his arms that night" She said with a smirk.

He was with another women? His success party? I frowned listening to her but suddenly I remembered that it was me who was in his arms that day. He left his success party because he didn't wanted to leave me alone that night.

I looked at her and smiled at her. She is delusional. Let her be that way. Why should I explain her? Who is she? A bloody nobody.

I thought of leaving from there. There is no use of talking to her. She is not going to understand anything.

"See, now you are leaving because you have nothing to say" She said and smirked at me.

"I'm leaving because you are in your delusional world. You don't want to accept the fact that Dante don't love you. He don't even like you" I said with a sigh.

"You gold digging bitch. How dare you?" Maddison yelled and raised her hand to slap me but someone stopped her. And surprisingly this someone was, ME. My eyes grew big in realisation that this I saved myself from Maddison without anyone's help. I smiled at myself and glared her.

"I'm a gold digger? No Maddison, no. You are the one. You know that Dante hates you still you are dreaming to marry him for money, power and fame. You yourself said that Dante was with another women few days back, still you want to marry him because you want his money and still you have the audacity to call me a gold digger when you are the one?" I asked and pushed her hand away.

"I'm not a gold digger Maddison. You want proof? Than go and say the same thing in front of Knights and than they will tell you who is gold digger and who is not" I mocked her back in her own language and saw her getting red with my words.

Take that bitch.

Suddenly I heard a notification sound from my phone. I checked my phone to see that there is a message from Martin saying that he is here.

I looked at Maddison for the last time and decided to leave. But when I was almost near the stairs, she came to me and caught my wrist. I yanked my hand from her grip and narrowed my eyes at her.

"I don't care what others think about you or me. I just care about my Dante" She said, venom dripping in her voice.

"But Dante doesn't give a damn about you. He doesn't care about you. Your existence doesn't matter in his life" I said with a small smile.

"He cares for me, Crystal. He do care for me. You're blind that you can't see that. One day I'll be the Maddison Dante Knight" She said clenching her jaw angrily. Her face was red from anger. I almost cringed looking at her.

"That day will never come" I said and started walking towards the Martin as I saw him.

"Oh just shut up" With this Maddison yelled at me and pushed me from the stairs.

"Crystal" I heard Martin's panicked voice but soon my head collided with the edge of the stairs.

"Ahh" I yelled as I felt immense pain in my head and wetness too. When I touched my forehead and saw a little red in my fingers, I realised that I was bleeding.

"Crystal, oh my god. Are you okay?" I heard Martin's voice but I couldn't reply as I felt my head spinning and soon darkness engulfed me.
