Chapter 34

Sorry for the late update. I was stuck with some work but from now on I'll update regularly :-)

Crystal's pov

I woke up with the headache and groaned while looking around to see that once again I'm in the hospital. I frowned and tried to remember about the past events that's when I remembered that I was sick and throwing up and later got thirsty and in kitchen I fainted.

I cringed at that memory and once again looked around the room to see that Dante was sleeping in the couch. I'm seeing him sleeping for the first time and he is looking wow.

This man is so damn good-looking.

I got up from my sleeping position and continued looking at him with dreamy eyes until I felt bile rising in my throat.

I instantly covered my mouth with my palm and rushed towards the another door which was washroom and starts puking my guts out.

After puking, I rinsed my mouth and gargled properly. Once I realised that I'm fine, I exit the washroom only to came face to face with Dante.

"What happened? Did you puke?" He asked in concern.

Although he looked concerned but something was off. His tone wasn't soft like before.

"Uh.. Yeah. But now I'm fine" I said to which he nodded but soon his concerned face turned emotionless. He looked cold and distant. I wonder why?

"What happened to me?" I asked slowly yet softly to which his eyes turned hard.

"Food poisoning" He said to which I made a face.

Food poisoning? Really?

"Oh" I said confusingly and looked towards him who was glaring me. Huh?

"What?" I asked raising my brows at him.

Before Dante could have said anything, again I felt bile rising in my throat. I ran inside the washroom and threw up. But this time Dante was their with me. He caught my hairs in his hand and rubbed my back.

Fuck. It's so damn embarrassing.

I quickly flushed the contents and gargled properly before leaving the washroom along with Dante.

He passed me a glass of water and went to call the doctor. I sighed and waited for the doctor.

After sometime, Dante entered inside along with the doctor and Ashton.

"So how are you feeling Mrs knight?" Doctor asked with a smile.

Mrs knight?

I blushed a little and looked at him who was still smiling at me, probably waiting for me to reply. But instead of replying him, my gaze darted to Dante who had a hard look on his face. I frowned looking at him.

What's wrong with him? Is he angry because this doctor addressed me as Mrs knight?

"Um.. I have headache and feeling like vomiting" I said to which he nodded.

"Well you have food poisoning so these are basic symptoms. You might suffer from stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, chills, aching muscles and so on. So it would be good if you take proper rest" He said to which I nodded and again looked at Dante who was still looking angry.

"Mrs knight one more thing, after the blood samples we got to know that you have consumed something which had bacteria in the large amount and your family is saying that you always consumes homemade food and hardly eat outside. So, did you consumed food from some other place as well?" He asked to which I frowned and tried to remember things but my headache wasn't helping me.

"I don't know.. I mean I don't remember something like that" I said slowly.

"What do you mean that you can't remember?" Suddenly Dante asked looking extremely angry at me.

I flinched a little when I saw his bloodshot red eyes. Ashton noticed that too so he went towards Dante.

"Calm down Dante. It's not like she is doing something purposely" Ashton said and gave me a small smile.

"Well it's okay. You have whole day to remember stuffs. I have wrote your medicines names in the prescription. You can also go back to your place now. But just take good care of yourself and follow the healthy diet chart" He said to which I nodded.

With this the doctor left the room, leaving three of us behind.

I was still scared so I didn't looked up towards Dante and Ashton.

"Crystal" I heard Ashton voice to which I looked up at him but didn't tried to look at Dante but I felt his eyes on me.

"Are you okay now?" Ashton asked sweetly to which I nodded.

"Great. I'll go and get your discharge papers and medicines okay. Till then you cover you face with this mask, okay" Ashton said giving me a mask to which I smiled at him gratefully.

Soon Ashton left the room and this time it was only me and Dante in the room.

I finally looked at Dante but he busied himself in his phone. He was scrolling his phone with a frown in his face.

I was scared to approch him but I wanted to know the reason behind his anger. I tried to talk to him but stopped myself when I remembered his angry face.

My heart and my mind were saying two different things. After whole lot of debate I decided to listen to my heart.

"Uh... Dante?" I called him but he didn't removed his gaze from his phone.

"Dante, is everything fine?" I asked again but he wasn't replying.

"Dante I'm talking to you" I said raising my voice a little.

He finally looked up from his phone to me and glared me hard.

"I'm not bound to answer you everything, Crystal" He said with an emotionless face.

Though his voice was calm this time but his calm voice for the first gave my heart the pain which I never felt before. His one simple statement wounded my heart.

I looked at him to see that he again busied himself in his phone but this time I decided to stay silent.

After waiting for sometime, Ashton came and said that we are free to go now. I covered my face with the mask and walked towards Ashton but again my clumsy self kicked and I almost stumbled myself to the nearest wall.

"Can't you even walk properly Crystal?" Dante suddenly came to me and snapped at me.

I looked at him and blinked my eyes, twice and then thrice. I felt tears forming in my eyes but I kept blinking my eyes in order to stop those tears.

I'm not going to waste my tears for this asshole.

"Dante enough now" Ashton whisper yelled at Dante and looked at me with sympathy.

"Sorry" I said looking at Dante.

Dante's face turned more stern at my apology. He twisted his lips annoyingly and left the room leaving me with Ashton.

I gulped hard looking at the way where Dante went.

"Crystal. I'm really sorry for Dante's behavior. I don't know what's wrong with that asshole. I'll talk to him later, okay!" Ashton said to which I nodded as I was unable to form a word after Dante's strange cum rude behavior.

We both slowly walked out of room and went to the exit of hospital where Dante was waiting for us with his back on us.

As we both went near him, I quickly looked away from him.

"Let's go" Ashton said to which I nodded and followed him till the car.

Surprisingly today there were no paparazzi to which I mentally thanked god.

When we reached near the car, Dante settled himself in driver's seat. I looked at Ashton who was really to sat himself on back seat but I rushed towards him and settled myself on back seat and gave him an apologetic smile.

Ashton shook his head and settled himself beside Dante.

I huffed a breath and looked outside the window in order to avoid Dante.

- Knight Mansion -

After reaching Knight mansion I quickly got off the car and rushed inside only to see that Dante's parents and Sarah was standing in front of the door like they were waiting for someone.

"Crystal, how are you?" Sarah asked hugging me tight.

"I'm good now" I said breaking the hug and smiled at her even although I wanted to cry.

"Thank god you're okay. I was so scared" Mrs Knight said and she hugged me too.

"You scared us yesterday" Mrs Knight said softly after breaking the hug.

"How are you feeling now?" Mrs Knight asked with a small smile.

"Uh.. Tired" I said honestly to which she chuckled.

In the meantime Ashton and Dante too entered inside the mansion.

"Correction. We are the tired one here. You were busy sleeping in the hospital bed whereas we all were awake almost whole night because of you and your carelessness" Dante said arrogantly to which others let out a surprise gasp at his statement.

And me, I was controlling my tears at his rude statement.

"Dante" Mrs Knight chirped angrily.

"Why are you looking at me like that mom? I didn't said anything wrong. Because of Crystal we couldn't sleep properly yesterday, isn't it?" Dante snapped at her and turned to me.

"Yesterday all of us asked you to visit the doctor but you didn't changed your decision, why? Because you're irresponsible. You can't even take care of your own self, Crystal. Because of your stubborn nature we had to rush hospital in the middle of the night. We all were worried, why? Because of you and your damn stubborn self" Dante said angrily.

"Dante it's enough now" Mrs Knight yelled angrily at him to which he closed his eyes for a mere second before looking at me.

"I-I thought that I'll be f-fine after taking the rest" I said slowly.

"Yeah right" Dante mumbled sarcastically.

This was it. I couldn't stop myself from crying at this moment and let out a sob.

"Crystal" Sarah said softly and came towards me but I shook my head and rushed upstairs to my room.

Once I was inside the room I locked the door and threw myself in the bed and cried my heart out.

"I fucking hate you Dante Knight" I yelled his name and cried until I asleep.
