Chapter 38

Crystal's pov

I woke up with smile on my face. Just thinking about yesterday is making me feel giddy. I'm having hard time believing the fact that Dante confessed his love to me and wants to give our marriage a chance.

Everything is feeling like a dream. A beautiful dream.

The man Dante Knight who is immensely famous and loved especially by women, is mine, all mine and only mine.

Yay.

With a stupid smile on my face I got up and went to the bathroom to do my business.

After having a long bath I decided to wear a pink full sleeve dress which reached upto my knees. I left my hair open and did light makeup to look good. Later I wore my flats and left the room.

Also I'm not going to college because I'm still not well and Dante is going to change my college so maybe I'll stay at home for almost a week now.

Also, today Dante is going to announce about us to his family. For that, I'm super nervous. Though I know Dante's family is super nice and welcoming. And when yesterday Dante said that his family loves me and his mom used to ship us, I'm little happy but I'm nervous too. I don't know how they will react. I just hope everything goes well.

Sighs.

I was walking towards the staircase when suddenly someone wrapped their fist around my wrist and pulled me towards themselves.

I was all ready to shout at them but stopped myself when I saw the handsome devil aka Dante, who by the way was smirking at me.

"D-Dante? What the hell? You scared me" I said glaring him.

"Aww, my girl got scared" He said, still smirking at me.

"Seriously Dante? You just gave me a mini heart attack and instead of apologizing to me, you're teasing me?" I asked angrily and freed myself from him and tried to move away but he quickly pulled me towards himself.

Now we were way too close. Our lips were only a few distance away from each other. A little more pull and our lips will be touching each other.

Dante suddenly leaned closer to me and rubbed my left cheek with his lips. It's like he was caressing my left cheek with lips instead of his hands.

I suddenly felt hot all over my body with our close proximity.

"D-Dante" I stammered and gripped his shirt tightly in my fists.

"Dante. S-stop. Someone will s-see us" I said and tried to push him away but Dante's arms were tight around my body.

"Hmm" He hummed and continued his assaults.

"D-Dante pl-please" I said and this time Dante listened and pulled himself a little away from me.

We were still very close to each other. Oh God!

"You're looking beautiful" Dante said and tucked my hair locks behind my ear and caressed my cheeks a little to which I blushed.

"Thank you" I said biting my cheeks.

"You're also looking good" I said and he smiled at me.

"I love you" Dante said and hugged me.

I really wanted to say something but nothing comes out from my mouth. I guess we both have to wait some more.

Honestly I'm feeling bad that I'm not confessing to him but I really don't want to lie about my feelings. I know I have strong feelings for him but the word 'love' is yet to discover.

Sighs.

After breaking the hug, Dante kissed my forehead softly and passed me his beautiful smile.

"I'll wait as long as it take" Dante said to which I smiled at him.

"Just give me this beautiful smile of yours daily and I might confess that to you sooner" I said to which he chuckled at me.

"You are unique" Dante said laughing.

"Let's go for the breakfast" Dante said and suddenly smirked at me to which I narrowed my eyes at him.

Why do I feel that that he is going to reveal about us in some mischievous way.

"Dante, you better not-"

"Let's go, let's go" He cuts me off and pulled me towards the staircase and caught my hand tightly in his.

God please don't let him embarrass me.

Dante's pov

As soon as we reached near the dining hall, Crystal tried to free herself from my grasp but I tightened my hand around her.

I can feel her glaring me but I didn't turned towards her and kept walking towards the dining table.

When Ashton and Sarah saw us hands in hands, they raised their eyebrows at me but I just smirked.

Crystal and others are going to get shocked today.

We both finally reached there and sat ourselves. I looked at my parents who were busy talking about the upcoming event. Ashton and Sarah were looking at me and Crystal, suspiciously. I rolled my eyes at them and looked at my girl, Crystal.

She is looking really nervous. I frowned and caressed her palm to which she turned to look at me.

I smiled at her to which she passed me a small smile and quickly looked away. I shook my head at her nervousness and continued caressing her palms which kind of made her relaxed.

Soon our breakfast came. White sauce pasta and pancakes for us and bread butter for Crystal.

We all started eating while discussing a few things about the upcoming party which is in a week.

Well, I'm going to complete five years in business world next week so we are throwing a party which I feel is absolutely unnecessary.

I rolled my eyes at my Parents and Ashton who looked quite excited for next week.

I made a face at their over excitement and turned a little to see that Crystal was looking relieved now and was talking with Sarah.

Although I love looking at her stress free face but not today. I smirked at that and kept looking at her.

Feeling my constant gaze she turned towards me and raised her eyebrows in questioning manner. My smirk went wide at the thought of next move.

Now I can feel everyone's gaze at me and Crystal too noticed that Everyone is looking at us. She smiled nervously at them and gave me a tight smile as if asking me to not to do something funny.

Too late.

"Dante, what is it?" She asked nervously.

"Uh.. there is-" I said but stopped and suddenly leaned towards Crystal and pecked her lips.

"There was a little butter" I said smirking at Crystal.

My smirk widened when I heard everyone's surprise gasps and Crystal looked at me in pure shock and fury. It looked like I stole all her money.

"D-Dante" I heard my mom's voice and turned towards her and smiled at her and tried to hide my smirk which was little difficult to be honest.

"I-Is there something which you want to tell us about?" Mom asked looking in-between me and Crystal.

"Nothing except the fact that Crystal and I are giving our marriage a chance" I said looking at Crystal who was throwing draggers at me.

Angry kitten.

"Oh my god" Suddenly I heard the loud voice of my mom and turned towards her.

"Oh my god" Once again my mom screamed and got up from her seat and jumped up and down.

She freaking jumped up and down. Like really.

I looked at her in amusement. My mom is behaving like a typical highschool fangirl whose favorite celebrity couple got married.

"Oh my god I can't believe it. Is that true?" This time Sarah asked with shining eyes to which I just smirked.

"Oh my my god" Mom yelled and immediately went towards Crystal and hugged her tightly.

"Oh my god, I'm so happy. I can't believe it" Mom said happily and break the hug.

I looked at Crystal's face and this time Crystal looked happy and overwhelmed. I smiled looking at them.

Mom really admires Crystal.

"Thank you for coming in our life, especially in Dante's life. You are no other than an angel for us, thank you" Mom said caressing her face to which Crystal blushed a little.

"Please don't mrs knight. I'm no angel. In fact you peoples are angels who gave me so much love and respect. So, thank you for accepting me" Crystal said with a smile.

"I'll accept this thank you only if you call me mom like Dante says" Mom said to which Crystal eyes turned watery.

Oh no.

I was about to interrupt them when Crystal suddenly hugged mom.

"T-thank you, mom" Crystal said to which a warm feeling spread in my chest.

After breaking the hug Crystal and mom turned towards us.

"Now that you're calling Amelia 'mom', you better call me dad. I won't tolerate you calling me Mr knight" Dad said in a fake strict tone to which Crystal giggled.

"Okay dad" Crystal said in a playful tone to which dad smiled at her and blessed her.

Soon everyone sat in their respective seats and started having their breakfast. In the meantime I tried to touch Crystal's palm but she pushed my hand away.

I frowned and looked at her. She was already looking at me and was smiling at me.

"Thank you for giving me this family" She whispered and smiled genuinely at me.

"But I'm not going to forgive you for the way you announced about us" Suddenly her smiling face turned angry.

Oh gawd.

I groaned and glared at her but she was still giving me angry looks.

"You better give me a better excuse for that act of yours or I'm not forgiving you" Crystal whispered in a warning tone and continued her breakfast.

I rolled my eyes ar her antics and shook my head.

"Crystal come on-"

"No" Crystal glared me and angrily took a bite of her bread.

"The way you announced about us was ridiculous. You should have tried that in a better way, you know that right? So now get yourself a nice excuse or else no hugs and kisses" She said munching her breakfast.

What?

"Crystal you're not serious, right?" I asked in a low voice.

"I'm really very serious, honey" Crystal replied sweetly.

"Crystal come on, I did that for fun" I said making a face to which she looked more angry.

"You mean kissing me in front of your parents is funny, to you?" She whisper yelled at me.

"First, I didn't kissed you. That was a peck and second there is no law which says that I can't kiss my wife in front of my parents or anyone else" I said softly.

"Don't divert the topic, Dante. I'm mad at you" Crystal said with a tight smile.

"Crystal-"

"No" She cuts me in the middle.

"Listen to me for once i-"

"No" Again she cuts me in the middle.

She wiped her lips and hands with the tissue and turned towards me and gave me tight smile.

"My husband dearest, you had enough fun. Now it's time for punishment. Now you better give me a strong excuse for that petty act of yours or forget about the hugs and kisses, okay?" Crystal said slowly and got up from her seat and left the dining room.

Fuck me lord.
