Chapter 3

Crystal's pov

I looked around to find priest was having an conversation with..um is that Mr Simon Knight. Wait. Dante Knight. Simon knight. Dante is Simon's son. FuCk they are billionaires. Oh God! Means if I didn't stop this drama, I'll end up marrying a billionaire.

I have to do something. If they'll get to know about this fake bride thing they might forgive Maddison and her family but they won't spare me.

Scared, I turned towards Dante who was looking straight with stone face. My eyes then went towards Maddison's family. Her mom is staring at her phone again and again. Maybe she's trying to contact Maddison. Her father and grandparents are talking with Dante's father and another man beside him. This is my chance. Come on Crystal.

I cleared my throat hoping Dante will notice me but he is still looking ahead. I again did the same but got no response. I groaned.

"Mr Knight" This time I decided to call him but he again ignored me.

Is he deaf? But wait, he did listen when Maddison's dad talked to him. Maybe he is purposely ignoring me, or may be he is ignoring Maddison.

Sighing I pinched his wrist, little too harshly.

"What?" He whisper yelled at me.

"Mr Knight we need to talk, now" I said slowly.

"Mr Knight *chuckles* from when did you start calling me Mr knight? And what happened to your shrill voice? Unlike other times, your voice is not annoying me today" He asked and I almost giggled.

Even he agreed that Maddison's voice is annoying. Hehe.

What am I doing? I'm not supposed to giggle and make jokes, right now. Their is a serious problem.

"Shut up and listen to me carefully. We need to talk, it's urgent" I told him hoping he will agree.

"I'm not interested in your bullshits. So please, shut up" He said arrogantly.

Bastard.

"It's really urgent, please" I said roaming my eyes towards Maddison's family and thankfully they were still busy.

I again looked at Dante but he was looking at his wristwatch with a frown.

"Dante" I heard a voice.

I looked ahead to find a beautiful woman in her late forties looking at our way with a sad smile. She is wearing a beautiful navy blue gown with beautiful necklace and earrings. Her hairs are styled in French bun. She is one hell of a gorgeous woman.

"Son" She said looking at Dante with sad smile. She's Dante's mom. Oh my God!

Dante looked at her and smile reassuring at her.

Oh my God. He can smile. I thought he only can make angry face. Hehe. But his smile is gorgeous even though his smile is not reaching his eyes.

"I'm sorry" She said looking at him and then at me. She's looking at me with slight anger.

"It's okay mom. I'll manage everything" Dante said kissing her forehead.

They're adorable.

"I wish I could do something for you" She sighed sadly.

Why everyone is looking upset from this wedding, except Kingsleys.

"Mom you atleast tried for me and that's enough for me. Don't blame yourself" Dante rubbed her arms and she smiled. Sad one.

She start leaving from the stage when I caught her wrist. She looked at me furiously.

"What?" She snapped.

"Mrs Knight, we need to talk" I said and she raised her brows at me.

"Your voice is"

"My voice is not important right now, our talk is, please" I cut her off and nodded.

"Please don't let them know that I wanted to talk to you" I said pointing at Kingsleys. She looked confused but nodded.

We then start walking away from the altar when Maddison's grandfather stopped us.

"Where are you both going?" He asked to which I cursed him in my mind.

"We have to do a ritual" Mrs Knight said.

"Which ritual and why now?" He asked, little scared.

"I have to do our family ritual with her before the marriage rituals start, so please excuse us" With this she start dragging me. But I didn't miss the warning glare which this old man send me.

FuCk you oldie. Now look how I'm gonna expose you and your family.

Mrs Knight and I entered in a beautiful room. This room is better than Maddison's. My staring session was broken by Mrs Knight harsh voice.

"What do you wanted to talk Maddison?" She said with anger.

Seems like she don't like Maddison.

I turned towards her. Sighing heavily I pulled the veil away from my face. *Gasp*

"Who are you? And where is Maddison?" She asked surprisingly.

Taking a deep breath I told her everything about the happenings. She covered her mouth in shock.

"I always knew that Kingsleys were manipulative and greedy but never thought they'll go this lower. And for what? Money? Power? Bastards" She chirped annoyingly.

She then looked at me. And this time with soft eyes and not angrily. Her eyes then went behind me and then again her eyes hardened in anger.

I turned around to find Simon Knight and Dante were there in doorstep. They were looking extremely shocked. They entered inside the room and looked at me from top to bottom. I felt intimidated by them.

"Did you see how manipulative and greedy these Kingsleys are? Their daughter ran away so they asked her to fake being Maddison. Why? Because they wanted money and power. Do you still want to befriend them?" Mrs Knight yelled at her husband.

"Amelia, you know that I didn't wanted this. This was dad's wish. He wanted Dante to marry Maddison" Mr Knight sighed deeply.

"Correction. He didn't wanted it. Kingsleys wanted it. They manipulated your dad to sign those fuCking contract" Mrs Knight yelled again.

"I know" He sighed.

"No, you don't. You don't know anything. Cause of dad's wish or I can say Kingsleys wish, you wanted my son to marry that bitch, Maddison. She wouldn't even be the last girl I would have wanted my son to marry. I would have happily seen my son unmarried his whole life rather than marrying Maddison" She said. She is beyond frustrated.

My eyes then went to Dante who was looking intentionally at me. I raised my brows at him and he finally looked away.

He was about to say something but got stopped by another voice. We all turned towards the door where a handsome man was standing along with a pretty lady. Gorgeous peoples.

"Mom dad? What are you guys doing here?" He asked them. His eyes then went to me and he narrowed his gaze at me.

"And who is she? And why is she in bride's costume?" He asked and Mrs Knight told him everything all this while glaring at Mr Knight. Him and that lady were shocked listening this.

"These Kingsleys. Why the fuCk grandpa even befriend them? Didn't he knew how cunning they are?" That man, who I supposed is Dante's brother said angrily.

"We all knew their real faces, except for your grandpa and your father. Even your grandmom used to hate Kingsleys. She was one smart woman" Mrs Knight muttered angrily.

"Now what?" The other lady asked them.

"According to the contract, if anyone from Maddison or Dante want to get hitched with any third person, they can. The contract will be terminated" Mr Knight finally said causing them to sigh in relief.

"But if that was the case, why didn't you back out from this marriage earlier Dante? We all knew that you never liked Maddison" That lady asked him.

Before Dante could speak, his mom cut him off.

"Because your father in law wanted to fulfill his dad's wish or I can say Kingsleys wish. That's why he literally forced my son to marry that witch" Mrs Knight glared at her husband. "He wanted to be a good son by sacrificing his son's life" She added.

So this lady is Dante's sister in law. I must say that she's pretty.

"Amelia" Mr Knight looked at her and she frowned.

"Not today Simon" She muttered.

"I am sorry" Mr Knight said looking at his wife and son.

Mrs Knight was still looking angry but Dante gave him a reassuring smile.

"Now when.." Dante's brother stopped hearing another voice.

"What's happening here?" I turned around to look Oldie and his family standing there confused but as soon as they looked at me, without veil their confused face turned into an angry one.

Uh-Oh.

Oldie's eyes then wandered to Dante and his family and he groaned.

"Who's this girl? And why is she in Maddison's gown?" I rolled my eyes at Maddison's mom.

She really thinks that everyone here is fool.

"Oh, so you don't know why she is in Maddison's gown, huh?" Mrs Knight said sarcastically to which she avoided her gaze.

I felt a heated gaze in my face. I turned a little to find Oldie is standing just beside me. His face is red in anger and damn his eyes. He looked like he is seconds away from beating the shit out of me. I looked around to find almost everyone's focus was on other two Kingsleys.

And I again looked towards oldie and that's when he raised his hand to hit me. I gasp.

But his hand stops in midway. Looking to his direction I find Dante's brother stopped his hand from hitting me.

"DON'T YOU DARE" he said angrily. Listening to his voice everyone turned towards us with shock.

"Don't you ever try to raise your hand on her, Ethan" Mr Knight yelled at him angrily.

I stepped back from oldie when I collided with someone. Looking at my back I find Dante's there.

When did he came here?

"What else can we expect from these peoples?" Mrs Knight muttered angrily.

"I'll fuCking kill her. She fuCking cheated us" Oldie yelled angrily looking at my direction.

"She cheated or you cheated? You bloody blackmailed her to take Maddison's place because of your selfish reasons. My wife was always right about you and your family. You all are cunning and greedy and of course bastards too. You fuCking manipulated my dad to sign those fuCking contract. My dad never thought of making a personal relationship with you, you manipulated him. And I like a fool agreed to sacrifice my son's happiness for dad's wish. But not anymore. The contract is over. We are no longer business partners. I'm gonna take all my money from your business" Mr Knight yelled at him.

Oldie and his family looked more angry at his outbrust.

"You can't do this" Maddison's father yelled.

"I can and I will" Mr Knight yelled now looking more angry than before.

His eyes then went to me and he gave me a murderous look.

"All this is happening because of her. I'll kill her" With this Maddison's dad angrily made his way towards me but stopped when Mr Knight and Dante's brother held him. "Don't" Mr Knight warned him.

Today is officially my bad day.
